NEW YORK CITY

"Why are we traveling like this again?" Roman asks as they ride in the back of a fish truck.
"Because Dom and Bree took God's Eye, so we need to stay off the grid," Tej answers him as he rolls his eyes.
"But like this?" Roman asks as the back door of the truck opens to reveal a fish market. "Look here, man. Before I throw up in my mouth, let me ask you, what are we doing here?"
"That's a good question, Roman," Little Nobody says as he leads the way through the fish market. "Let me show you." Little Nobody stops in front of a big door before glancing back at Roman. "Welcome to our new base of operations."
"No, seriously," Letty says in amazement as the door opens to reveal several sports cars. "What is this place?"
"This is heaven," Tej says as they look at the rows and rows of cars.
"It's the agency garage. They call it the toy shop," Hobbs explains before Little Nobody leads them inside.
"This is where we house every vehicle seized from drug dealers off the East coast. Now. Mr Nobody said if we're gonna have a chance of catching Dom and Bree we're gonna have to be damn fast," Little Nobody explains before turning to face the team. "Figured this could help." Deckard walks over to a jeep before patting it on the hood.
"We got a tank," Tej says with a smirk as he walks over to it. "750 horsepower, 6.6 liter, V8 Duramax engine with the M153 CROWS remotely operated weapon station on top."
"You didn't get this from drug dealers," Ramsey says as she and Roman walk over to the tank as well.
"No," Little Nobody says with a smirk as he walks over. "No, that the United States army lent me."
"See the army is developing machines like this so that soldiers can drive from a mile away," Tej explains as he walks around the tank. "So they can stay safe and alive. But, luckily, there is a back up driver's seat for those of us who like to get more "hands on"."
"I'm sitting here this whole time, thinking, will this thing fit in the valet at the Cheesecake Factory," Roman says as he stands beside Tej.
"No one is getting "hands on"," Little Nobody says as he rushes over to them. "She doesn't go on the streets." Roman looks away from Little Nobody as they hear a machine moving a car.
"Wow. I'm in love," Roman says as admires a neon orange sports car.
"Again? No. No," Little Nobody says as he stands between Roman and the car. "That's a million dollar show car. The point is to not draw attention."
"It's reverse psychology," Roman says as he slightly glares at Little Nobody. "Bree will never see it coming."
"It's neon orange. The international space station would see it coming," Little Nobody argues before pointing to the other cars. "Go choose anything less conspicuous."
"No no, no. Calipers are my... This is ridiculous," Roman says as he goes back to looking at the car.
"Not happening," Little Nobody says as he tries to getin front of Roman.
"Hey my man, you can put that down right there. This is a gift. A real gift. I know what you're doing," Roman says as he points to the guy, who is driving the forklift, causing Little Nobody to give up before walking away from Roman. "I like your beard. You're blanta. Black santa?" The forklift driver looks at Roman with an unimpressed look. "No, I'm serious, put it down right here." The forklift driver shakes his head at Roman before continuing to take the car to its spot.

Dom is driving around New York City before he uses his foot to hit the button Bree had installed in the floor board of his car. The button causes the engine to start misfiring before Dom pulls over into an alley.
"What are you doing?" Cipher asks as Dom comes to a stop, since she is watching them through a camera.
"Engine's misfiring, we gotta check it out," Bree answers her as she glances at the camera in the car.
"No. That's not part of the plan, Bree," Cipher says as she starts to get an uneasy feeling.
"Clearly," Dom says with an eye roll. "But unless you want the engine to seize on the job..."
"You have five minutes," Cipher says angrily before switching to God's eye to watch Dom and Bree, who gets out of his car. Dom holds up his hand as he mouths "five minutes" before he raises his hood causing Cipher to lose sight of him and Bree. "I want another visual."
"I got an ATM," The man, using God's eye, tells her.
"I don't like this," Cipher says as a van slowly drives into view before backing up into the alley that they are using to watch Dom and Bree from the ATM. Once the van is stopped, Bree nods at Dom before they quickly walk away from his car. "I want to see Toretto and Ortiz."
"There are no more cameras," The man, using God's eye, tells her.
"Then find something! Punch in on something reflective. A car mirror, anything.." Cipher starts to panic since she can't see Dom and Bree.

"Do you know who I am?" A woman says as Dom and Bree sit in front of her, in a bar.
"That's why we're here," Dom answers her as her guard walks up behind them.
"Do you know what I'm capable of?" The woman asks him as she grabs her cup of tea.
"It's why we're here," Bree answers her with a nod.
"I'll give you until I finish my cuppa. And I'm fucking thirsty," The woman says as she raises her cup before taking a drink.
"We got limited time, so won't take up too much of yours," Dom tells her with a nod of understanding.
"Oh no," The woman says as she shakes her head. "No, you've already taken everything I have of value, Mr. Toretto. What more could you possibly want?"
"To give you something back," Bree says causing the woman to look at her in shock.

"Talk to me," Cipher orders her man as he continues to try to find Dom and Bree. "Something's not right here."

"You're a mother," Bree says as she places a hand on her stomach. "I'm pregnant with my first and someone is threatening to take that away from me."
"And the first time I saw my son was behind a bulletproof glass. When he reached for me, I couldn't hold him," Dom explains causing the woman to lower her glass. "It's the worst pain I ever felt. I know you know exactly how that feels. Maybe we could change that."
"Now why do I think you're both about to suggest something really dodgy, Miss Ortiz and Mr Toretto," The woman says with a raised eyebrow. Dom sets a wristband on the table before sliding it towards her.
"It's why we're here," Dom says with a smirk.

"Jesus, punch in on something. I'm not liking this. Something is not right," Cipher orders as she continues to panic. "Rhodes, you close?"
"Yeah," Rhodes responds since he is in New York as well.
"Go," Cipher orders him.
"The delivery truck is moving," The guy with God's eye tells her as the van pulls out of the alley to reveal Dom closing his hood. Bree holds up a burnt spark plug to the camera as Dom mouthes "I know" before they gets into his car, hitting the same button causing his car to be fine.

"Let's find us a Russian," Cipher says as she takes over God's eye. "I spy with my little eye, a Minister of Defense." God's eye locates the Minister of Defense. "Upload those coordinates to Dom's nav."
"Copy that," The man says before doing as told.
"Dom, drop off Bree," Cipher orders before Dom pulls up to a corner. Bree gives Dom a nod before getting out of the car. "Rhodes, pick her up." Bree watches in shock as cars start to drive themselves before Rhodes pulls up in front of her.
"Get in," Rhodes says, causing Bree to roll her eyes before getting into the car.

"We got an army of cars driving themselves. Send backup! Send S.W.A.T! I don't care if you send the goddamn boy scout. Just send us some help!" A radio beside Roman starts going off as it gains everyone's attention.
"Now, that's Dom and Bree," Letty says as she walks over, picking the radio up. The team quickly goes over their plan before getting in their cars, leaving the toy shop with Little Nobody leading the way and Hobbs bringing up the rear.

Bree listens to Cipher tell Dom to go get the case before Dom mentions that he sees the team. Bree isn't sure of what is happening but knows that Dom is struggling to get away from the team.
"Get that case and run!" Cipher suddenly orders.

Dom starts crawling out of his car as Deckard sees the case. Dom quickly grabs the case as Deckard slides across his and Letty's car before chasing after Dom, who runs around a corner. Halfway down the street, Dom turns to face Deckard as he points a gun at him.
"They thought this was gonna be a street fight," Dom says as Deckard quickly stops while looking at Dom in shock for a second.
"What are you waiting for, Toretto?" Deckard asks him confusedly before Hobbs runs around the corner.
"No!" Hobbs yells as Dom shoots Deckard twice. Cops start heading their way, causing Hobbs to take off running in the other direction. While Dom is distracted, Letty sneaks up behind him before grabbing the case and running.
"Letty, stop!" Dom yells as he runs after her.
"What are you gonna do?" Cipher asks as Letty and Dom run into an empty alley.
"Stay here," Rhodes tells Bree before getting out of the car but Bree follows after him. Dom quickly stops before shooting his gun into the sky, causing Letty to come to a stop.
"I don't know why you're doing this, but I know one thing," Letty says as she turns to face Dom. "You love me." Dom frowns as he holds back his emotions. "And you are not going to shoot me." Dom looks up at the camera in the alley as Letty walks around the corner. Rhodes shoves Letty up against the wall as he takes her gun away from her.
"You should've given him the case, cause I won't chase you," Rhodes says as he tries to take the case from Letty, who doesn't let go of it. "Okay. I will just take it from a dead girl." Rhodes points his gun at Letty's head as she glares at him.
"You willing to die for it?" Bree asks as she points her gun at Rhodes' head. Rhodes tries to jerk the case away from Letty but she doesn't let it go. Dom walks around the corner and looks at Letty, which causes her to look at him before she lets go of the case in defeat.
"Let's go then," Rhodes tells Dom and Bree before walking away from them. Bree and Letty stare at each other before Dom pulls Bree away to follow after Rhodes. Letty holds back tears as she leans against the wall.

CIPHER'S PLANE

Bree is escorted to another room while Dom is allowed to go see his son. A little while later, Dom enters the room with tears in his eyes.
"What happened?" Bree asks as she sits beside Dom.
"They killed Elena," Dom answers her in a whisper, causing Bree to hug Dom. Bree glares as Cipher enters the room.
"Everything you're feeling right now, that rage, a sense of loss," Cipher says as she walks over to Dom and Bree. "It's not real. It's a survival instinct wired deep into our brains to ensure the continuation of the species." Cipher leans against the couch across from where Dom is sitting. "When early men went to visit a watering hole, if they didn't watch their child, and it got snatched by a crocodile, their brains would create a painful but instructional memory, so it would never happen again. This idea of 'family' that is so core with you, that rules your world, it's a biological lie. You don't have to accept it. I don't." Cipher moves to sit next to Dom and Bree, causing Bree to let go of Dom incase they needed to jump into action. "Did you really think you both could destroy two of my teams without any repercussions? I wouldn't have even looked your way if you hadn't done that. You didn't even know you had a kid. You can thank me for that and start doing the job I'm asking you to do."
"Help you start a war," Dom states as he looks away from her.
"Is that what you think I want?" Cipher asks as she looks at Dom. "That's so limited. I didn't take that football to start a war any more than I took your son to start a family. Taking your son got me the codes. The codes will get me the nukes, and the nukes will get me what I want, today, tomorrow and every day after that."
"And what's that?" Bree asks her as she glares at her.
"Accountability," Cipher answers her as she looks away from her. "The second I fire off one of those nukes, I put the superpowers of this world on notice that, when they cross the line, I'm gonna be there to hold them responsible." Cipher looks back over at Dom and Bree. "Because the truth is, to the world out there I am the crocodile at the watering hole." Cipher pats Dom on the back as she stands up. "We've got one last job to do."
"Cipher," Bree says as she stands up while Cipher walks away, causing her to look at Bree. "If I were you, I would say a prayer for my baby to make it and kiss his son because whether you value it or not, all of this, your plane, your security, and you, are still on this earth because of them."
