HAVANA, CUBA

"We swap in parts from Fords, Plymouths, and Cadillacs," A man says in Spanish as he work on a car. "My grandfather bought it in 1957. When he died, it passed to my father. Then my brother, and now to me."
"Look at this," Dom tells Letty in Spanish with a smile on his face. "This is an engine from a boat."
"No way!" Letty says with a shocked smile.
"Yeah," The man says before speaking in Spanish. "Whatever it takes to keep it running."
"This is the Cuban spirit," Dom says with a smile still on his face before speaking in Spanish. "Your spirit. Don't ever lose that."
"Dom. Dom," Bree calls as she rushes over to them before speaking in Spanish. "It's your cousin. He's in trouble. Come on!"
"You know I can't make a living without my car," Fernando tells a man.
"Not my problem, bro," The man states with a shrug before he sees Dom. "Dominic Toretto, I heard about you. Welcome to my island."
"Why you hookin' up my cousin's car?" Dom asks the man, who is attaching a chain to his Fernando's car.
"He needed money, I gave it to him," The first man answers Dom. "He can't pay, I take the car."
"I just need a few more days," Fernando pleads.
"'Few more days' wasn't part of the deal," Raldo says with a shake of his head.
"Come one. You make a deal, you gotta live up to it," Dom tells his cousin.
"You make a deal, you gonna live up to it," Raldo repeats causing Bree to look at him.
"'Gonna' live up to it?" Bree asks him as she glares at him. "Oh, so you're one of those types. You take everyone's ride, and then ship it back to the States?"
"You should show your people some respect," Letty says in Spanish, agreeing with her sister.
"You watch your mouth," Raldo says as he points at Letty, causing her and Bree to laugh.
"Now you got a problem," Letty says with a smirk as Dom turns to face Raldo.
"I'm gonna keep it about the cars," Dom says as he points at Raldo.
"I'm really scared," Raldo says in Spanish.
"You want a car, get it the right way," Dom tells him.
"How?" Raldo asks him.
"Race for it," Dom answers him.
"I already own it, bro," The man states.
"Not that car," Dom says as he points at his cousin's car before turning to point at his car. "Mine."
"Dom, his car is the fastest car on the island," Fernando says quickly. "Do you know what he has under that hood?"
"He knows it doesn't matter what's under a hood," Dom tells his cousin. "The only thing that matters is who's behind the wheel."
"You think so?" Raldo asks him.
"I know so," Dom answers him.
"Then race his car," Raldo challenges him. "And we ain't racing no quarter-mile, here. We race the Cuban mile."
"Done and I'll drive," Bree says accepting the challenge, causing the crowd to cheer.
"I appreciate what you're trying to do," Fernando says as Dom takes the hood off of Fernando's car. "But my car is the slowest car on the island." Dom takes the bumper and fenders off of the car.
"Was," Dom tells him. "Pull the seats, the doors, the battery. If it ain't the motor, take it off."
"Laughing gas?" Fernando asks as Letty walks up with a blue canister.
"Nah, Fed. This is Cuban NOS," Letty answers him with a smile.
"You guys are crazy," Fernando says before taking a drink of his Coca Cola. "What are you doing?" Bree takes the tab off of the coke can.
"Poor man's turbo," Bree answers him as she puts the tab around a tube. "Pull the vacuum line and hold on." Bree looks at Dom and Letty with a smile. "Old trick that Buster used to play, in case of emergencies."
"You know that's way too much boost for that engine," Letty tells her with a smirk.
"It's gonna be fast," Bree says as she connects the tube back.
"It's gonna be a bomb," Dom argues with her.
"Only needs to go a mile," Bree tells him, causing him to smile. They go to the starting line before Letty and Fernando are given bikes so they can go ahead to stop traffic.
"Are you ready for this, my family?" A woman asks in Spanish as she stands between the two cars. "This is Havana!" The crowd cheers. "Be fast. Be safe. But don't be last. Racers ready! Vámonos!" The drivers take off with Bree slightly trailing behind Raldo, who bumps Bree into a pile of trash as they turn. Bree turns his NOS on as she quickly catches back up to the man. Raldo tries to bump Bree into oncoming traffic but Bree swerves out of the way. Letty and Fernando jump a hill before blocking traffic. Bree and Raldo drive past before Letty and Fernando take off again. Letty and Fernando stop as the other bikers pass them.
"Where are they going?" Fernando asks Letty.
"I don't know. Let's go!" Letty answers before they follow the other bikers. Bree and Raldo bump into each other before driving down two different streets. Bree and Raldo meet back on the same street. One of the bikers runs his bike out into the street causing Bree to run over the bike which slows her down.
"Okay, Buster. Let's see if this works," Bree says before pulling the wire attached to the tab which pulls the tube loose. The car speeds up really fast causing Bree to catch back up to Raldo. The engine on Bree's car catches fire. The windshield busts from the heat of the fire. Bree quickly turns around, driving in reverse before hitting the NOS again. Bree and Raldo are even as they approach the finish line before something explodes in Bree's engine causing her to take the lead as they cross the finish line.
"Look out!" Bree yells at the crowd as she realizes that she doesn't have any breaks. Bree quickly turns the car before jumping out as the car flies into the water. The crowd, especially the kids rush over to Bree. Letty and Dom look at Bree in shock before she picks a kid up smiling at her. Bree smirks at them as the crowd cheers for her. Bree puts the kid down before walking over to Raldo.
"A deal's a deal. You won my car. And you earned my respect," Raldo says handing his keys to Bree, who looks over at Dom, who looks at Letty at the respect part. Letty smiles at Dom as they both remember Brian's first race against Dom.
"Keep your car," Dom says as he pushes the keys back to the man. "Your respect is good enough for us." Letty walks over to Dom before they wrap an arm around each other. "Yo, cousin. Sorry about your car." Dom throws his keys to his cousin. "Yours was too slow for a Toretto, anyway."
"Your Impala? Are you serious?" Fernando questions him in shock before turning to the crowd who cheers.

Bree and Letty stop outside the hotel, while Dom goes to get him and Letty a room. Bree winces as she rotates the arm that she landed on.
"You should go get that checked out," Letty tells her with a worried face.
"I will once I'm back in the states," Bree says with a small smile.
"You looked happy holding that little girl," Letty says as she playfully nudges her sister. "Have you ever thought about having one of your own?"
"With this life we live," Bree starts to answer her. "I haven't really thought about it. But I don't think so." Letty nods in understanding. "What about you?"
"With everything that's happened, I haven't really thought about it," Letty answers her before Dom walks outside.
"Y'all have fun," Bree says as she pulls her sister into a hug before pulling Dom into a hug. "Take care of her." Dom nods before Bree leaves. Once she made it back to Florida, she went to the doctor which they did a few tests.

Bree is looking out at the view from her and Rome's apartment before Rome walks over to her, hugging her from behind. Bree turns to face him, kissing him before he picks her up. Rome puts her against the wall as they continue to kiss before they make their way to the bed.
"Look at that smile," Bree says after kissing Rome. "I love it when you smile."
"You make me happy," Rome tells her as he lightly grabs her hand. "You remember that couple with the baby at the market, we saw yesterday?"
"Yeah!" Bree answers excitedly as she remembers. "The baby was adorable."
"I was looking at them, and I... And I couldn't help but to imagine what you'd be like if you were a mother," Rome explains causing Bree to slightly smile at him. When she had answered Letty, she had never thought about what Rome would want.
"Is that what you want?" Bree asks him after they kiss.
"It's not about what I want or what you want. It's about why we haven't asked the question," Rome answers her before he kisses her.

The next morning Bree left before Rome was awake, to go get them some coffee and breakfast. Bree's phone begins to ring so she stops to answer it.
"Hello?" Bree answers her phone.
"This is Dr. Mendez. I'm looking for Breilla Ortiz," Dr. Mendez says causing Bree to smile since it would be her test results.
"This is her," Bree replies.
"I called to tell you that your test results came back. And there is some wonderful news," Dr. Mendez begins to explain.
"What is it?" Bree asks.
"Your shoulder is perfectly fine just some bruising," Dr. Mendez explains to her. "But that's not all that we found out. We tested the blood we took just to make sure all of your levels are good and it turns out that you are pregnant."
"What?" Bree asks confused, unsure if she had heard the Dr. right.
"Miss Ortiz. You are pregnant," Dr. Mendez repeats causing Bree to be at a loss of words. "Miss Ortiz? Are you still there?"
"Yes," Bree says quickly. "How far along am I?"
"We would need you come in to do further tests but it would seem that you are about 12 weeks," Dr. Mendez answers her.
"Okay thank you for the news," Bree says quickly before hanging up, wondering how she's going to tell Roman.

On the way back to their room, Bree comes across a lady trying to get her car to start.
"Do you need a hand?" Bree asks her with a smile.
"Yeah, I think I do," The lady, called Cipher, answers her.
"Sounds like you're not getting any fuel," Bree tells her as she walks over to the car.
"Yeah?" Cipher asks her cluelessly.
"Probably the shut-off solenoid," Bree explains as she looks at the car. "Let's see if we can get some power to it."
"What brings you to Miami?" Cipher asks as Bree works on the car.
"The same thing that brings everyone else to Miami," Bree answers her with a smile. "Culture, people, the beauty. What brings you to Miami?"
"Work," Cipher says as she grows serious.
"Must be casual Friday," Bree jokes with her since Cipher is in shorts and a tank top.
"How's that vacation going, Bree?" Cipher asks as she leans against the car, taking off her sunglasses.
"Your fuel relay is missing," Bree says as she looks at her shocked.
"I know," Cipher says as she holds the fuel relay up.
"I love to play games," Bree says as Cipher walks around the car, putting the fuel relay back. "But I'm kind of in a rush, so if you've got something to say to me..."
"Oh, this is a very different game, that I can assure you," Cipher tells her as she walks back around her. "This... There's something much greater at work here. This is fate."
"I choose to make my own fate," Bree says as she slightly glares at her.
"Not today. Though your friend Dom had the same answer," Cipher states before looking around as Bree glares at her as she brings Dom into it. "Is this the road you take to your apartment every morning? What else is different, Bree? Was the Coyote Cafe closed? Did you have to cross two blocks to go get your coffee? What is it, black, no sugar?" Bree looks at her slightly shocked before she goes back to slightly glaring. "Yeah. I put a lot of work into getting you here today."
"Well, now that I'm here, what do you want?" Bree asks her as she crosses her arms across her chest.
"I want you to work for me," Cipher answers her simply. "Just like Dom."
"Work for you?" Bree asks her as if she is crazy. "Oh, I could've saved you a lot of time, then. See, I don't work for anyone."
"You can't walk away from this, Bree," Cipher says as Bree turns to walk away. "We're going to have this conversation, one way or the other. You see, that's the funny thing about fate." Bree turns back to look at her to see if she is for real. "It's cunning. It can bring you beautiful things, like the news you got on the phone and it can also bring you moments like this." Cipher pulls her phone out before holding it out to Bree, who walks back over to her. Bree takes the phone before Cipher stands beside her as Bree watches the video on the phone. "Oh, you're gonna want to work for me. You're gonna betray your brothers and sisters, abandon your code, and shatter your family with Dom. You see, your team is about to go up against the only thing they can't handle."
"What's that?" Bree asks her as she doesn't take her eyes off of the phone with angry tears forming in her eyes.
"You and Dom," Cipher answers her as she walks around Bree to the driver side door. "Oh, and, Bree, I wouldn't mention this to anyone besides Dom." Cipher gets in her car before driving away as Bree finally looks away from the phone with a single tear rolling down her cheek.

Dom is looking at his cross necklace before his phone starts buzzing. Letty had gone out to get them lunch. Dom sighs as he sees Luke Hobbs' name on his phone.
"Hey, Dom," Hobbs says once Dom answers.
"Hey, Hobbs," Dom replies with a frown.
"I got a job in Berlin and I need a favor, brother," Hobbs explains to him.
"No problem," Dom says as he looks back at his cross necklace. "I'll grab the team and meet you in Berlin."
"Thanks, man. I'll see you soon," Hobbs says before hanging up. Dom sighs before calling Bree first.
"Hey, Dom," Bree says after she answers the phone, having walked out on her balcony so Rome wouldn't hear.
"Cipher was right. Hobbs has a mission for us in Berlin," Dom explains with a sigh.
"We do what we gotta do," Bree says with her own sigh. "Rome and I will see you in Berlin."
