Big, huge cameras surrounded the uncompleted cube-like area where the recording for a tv program takes place. The fake walls are in apple green, the ground is covered in wooden tiles. There's only two orange couches with a tall plant in between. On the wall is a flat television screen.

"Welcome back, everybody! You're watching Tittle-Tattle!" The hosts exclaimed enthusiastically while holding their respective cards.

"To new viewers, Tittle-Tattle is where we discuss about Korea's most trending gossips, giving our idols a chance to clear up the rumours or reveal the truths about themselves." Hee Chul, the male host spoke.

"Yes, recently the most trending gossip  involves a member of our group, MONSTA X. He is rumoured to have a girlfriend after releasing a tweet on twitter." Jiyeon, the female host said and continued, reading her card. "It says, 'It hurts to keep a distance with her in public.'"

"Upon reading this tweet, his fans all around the world have gone wild. Not only are they beginning to throw out their suspects, they have also dissed our young idol for being so straightforward without an ounce of keeping it unknown for the sake of their group's image." Hee Chul finished.

To lighten things up, Jiyeon said, "Amidst all the hate and speculations, many netizens showed support to him and respected his decisions."

I nervously watched from the side with Kihyun by my side. Sensing my anxiety, he grasped my hand firmly regardless of the watchful eyes. I looked up at him to catch him smiling down at me which made me calm down a little bit.

"To learn about further details of this gossip, we have invited the involved idol, Yoo Kihyun of MONSTA X!" Both of the hosts clapped their hands as they welcomed Kihyun.

He released my hand before giving me a smile and left to the recording spot. He stood next to Hee Chul and greeted them with a bow.

"So Kihyun, what do you have to say about your tweet and the reactions you have gotten?" Jiyeon questioned.

"It is true that I'm dating and I'm very glad to see supporters. It was my intention to be straightforward because I don't want to hide anymore, we have dated for 3 years, I believe it is time we move on to the next step. About the group's image, I think it is injustice to judge my group with my personal life."

Move on to the next step? My cheeks bloomed brightly and my heart fluttered like fragile butterfly wings.

"We heard that you have something special prepared for today. What is it?" Hee Chul excitedly asked.

Kihyun signaled a staff and he passed a bouquet of pink roses to him. He stared at the roses before facing the camera and said,"I have been waiting for this day for very long, so I thank this program for allowing me to do this." He looked at me from his spot, the camera following his gaze and landed on me as I stared in surprise. "The reason why I dragged you along is not only because I want to introduce you to my fans, but I also wish to propose to you."

He took a small velvet box out of his pocket and opened it to reveal a silver ring inside.

"You have done a lot for me and my fans, you have endured a lot for 3 years after my debut. You always prioritise my fans, my group and my fame, I thank you for that. You refuse to go out with me during my group's promotions and refused to show any affection in fear that it'll hurt my fans' feelings. I'm sorry for not being able to spend more time with you and I sincerely apologise for not giving you a normal dating experience for the past years. [Y/N], I want to introduce you to the world! I want everybody to know that you're mine and I'm yours. My fans will accept you, they will defend us from haters and they'll support us. You've seen their reaction, there are more positives than negatives. So [Y/N], will you marry me?" He asked after kneeling down.

As he recited his lines, I couldn't help but cry and covered my face as I stared at him. I was happy, I was too happy that I couldn't believe it. I was so moved, my blood pumped rapidly as my heart hammered my chest.

"Marry him!"

"Kyaaa~~ They'll look so cute together~!"

"You deserve happiness too!"

Muffled voices were heard and I looked around. I caught the television and it broadcasted the scene outside the recording studio.

"Did you hear that, [Y/N]? You don't have to worry about my fame, they all already love you."

I looked at Kihyun and gave him a nod, then I ran into his arms as he stood up.

"I will marry you! I will!" I laughed with tears flowing down my cheeks.

His cheerful laughter rang across the room as he embraced me lovingly. The two hosts clapped their hands in excitement. "There you have it! A proposal on broadcast! Please show this couple lots of love and congratulate them upon their engagement!"

Kihyun released me and held my hand while facing the camera. "Dearest Monbebes, I hope you will love [Y/N] as much as I love her. She is the only one I want to spend the rest of my life with. I still love all of you. Without you, there will not be Yoo Kihyun of MONSTA X; but without her, I will not be whole. Both of you are equally important to me, so please, support us."

The camera moved to me and I was showed on screen. I was touched and happy beyond words, I let go of Kihyun's hand and gave a big bow. "To everyone who supports us, thank you. Thank you." I sobbed.

Kihyun joined in and bowed to the camera. On the screen where it broadcasted the situation outside the building, fans were screaming, "MAMAMON! MAMAMON!" They were calling me the mother of monbebes, it meant they accepted me and our relationship.

"Monbebes, thank you!" I whispered gratefully, only for myself to hear.

News spread very quickly and we were on every headline. There were haters of course, but most of them defended us and supported our relationship. Therefore, Kihyun and I held a wedding ceremony open to Monbebes to show our gratitude.

It was the first wedding ceremony of an idol where fans were invited. A new era has begun, where fans accept their idols' life. An era where fans don't rule over their idol, an era where idols have no need to hide someone or a relationship from the public.

I am very aware that I'm terrible in fluff hahah, I'm trying my best not to write mainstream plots and I want to stick more to the realistic side of things.
