The game has begun. The game he talked about often. It could be my ticket to freedom.
He has no sympathy. It's me that's being punished. I've been punished already but it's him who hasn't faced a consequence.
What is the point of a game?
Will this be my end?

I just wanted to let you know I'm ok. I know it's been just over 2 years since you've heard from me and you're worried sick and probably a bit angry at me. Tell Caitlyn and Tyler no matter where I am or how much they despite me I'm still their mum and I love them.

The reason I left was because my life was being torn apart and I didn't want to cause you anymore hurt.

I know most don't care that I'm gone. Most hate me, especially mom, dad and Shelley. They can barely look at me never mind talk to me.

"CARTMAN!!!" I got up as far as my chain could take me and banged on the walls.
"Please let me go..." I whisper as I let myself drag against the wall, onto the floor.

Caitlyn's POV

"She's taken care of." My heart collapses.
"W-What?!?"
"Don't worry she's fine. Just...unsteady..."

"Don't kill her ok, she's still my mom. We got the email earlier. Dad's broken. Why'd you do that?"

"It's part of the game."

"What's gonna happen to her?"

"Depends on her life choices, but you're gonna have to help me...."

"What!?! NO! I have no part in this! You promised!"

The man chuckled. "You clearly don't know me very well." He grabbed my arm and pushed me up against the wall.

"Do what I say and you won't suffer the same fate as your mom."

I nodded shaking and sweating like a leaf on a rainy day.
He released me. I didn't know he was this violent. I thought I could trust him.

"That's it then, you're in on the game."
