I wake up to a shriek in the other room and I cringe at the noise before realizing what it's from and grinning widely.

"Mommy!" Luke tells as he runs into my room in his boxers. I laugh as he jumps in my bed and begins peppering kisses to my face.

"Good morning, baby boy." I smile, and Luke squeaks, hopping up and running out of the room again. I raise an eyebrow and follow him to his nursery to find him tugging on the Christmas penguin onesie we bought for him recently.

"Help please, mommy!" He asks, trying to rush pulling it up his legs and over his arms all at the same time.

"Slow down, babe." I chuckle, moving his hands and kissing his tummy. He giggles as I help him step in and put his arms through before zipping it up.

"Yours now, mommy!" He shrieks excitedly as he's already left the room and run to mine.

He digs in my drawers for the similar onesie and then throws it at me when he finds it, and I glare playfully at him as I take off the t shirt I'm wearing and put on the onesie, except mine doesn't have full length legs, just shorts.

The small blonde attempts to run out of the room again but I grab his arm and tug him back to me.

"Lu, baby, I know you're excited." I smile as I sit on the bed and pull him in my lap. He pouts, knowing I'm about to correct him, and begins kissing my face. "But you know better than to run and yell in the house, okay?"

"Mommy!" He whines, and I pat his bum warningly. "Fiiine. I be good, but- presents? Pees?" He whines, laying on the baby talk so I'll give him what he wants.

"I suppose you can go open the presents mommy got you." I grin as Luke squirms off my lap with a shriek and runs to the living room, where a Christmas tree is set up and clutterly decorated with all of my huge collection of ornaments (Luke insisted we use all of them, even though most years I only use about half.)

I follow him and he smiles giddily at the boxes, some very large and some smaller. He grins at me and runs, beginning to open one of the smaller boxes first. He pauses in his unwrapping, turning to me and making grabby hands and I laugh and sit next to him.

The little blonde frowns and crawls into my lap, pulling the box into his lap as I wrap my arms around him.

He returns to unwrapping the pretty paper recklessly, making me smile in amusement.

"So, some gifts are for little Luke and that one is for big Luke, okay? (Why does this sound bad) But you can wait until whenever you want to be big, you don't have to open them right away if you wanna stay little." I explain, and he nods.

"This one ittle Luke?" He asks, gesturing to the box he has almost unwrapped. I smile and tell him yes and he continues tearing away the paper, squealing when he finds a toy he'd begged for not too long ago, that I'd let him put into the cart even though it was a bit on the spendy side, but he had then thrown a tantrum over me not agreeing to get McDonald's on the way home, so I made him put it back as punishment.

"Thankyou, mommy." He giggles as he turns around and kisses me.

"Mhm, you're welcome baby boy. Now, that big one right there is for baby boy Luke as well." I point to a large gift that's laying horizontally and Luke squeals and pulls it over before plopping into my lap again and opening it up.

He bites his lip and smiles as he looks over the box with a picture of a sled on it, then opens the cardboard and manages to slide the sleek red snow sled out and onto the living room floor.

"We should go outside in the snow with it, mommy! Right now right now right now!" He yells as he stands and jumps about excitedly.

"Maybe in a bit, baby. For now, we need to eat breakfast."

"Mommy!" He whines. He seems to remember himself and lowers his voice, "i don't mean to be naughty, but, I wanna go now! Pleeeaaassseee?!" He gives me puppy eyes and I sigh.

"Were in our pjs, baby. And the boys are coming soon. After breakfast, mommy will put you in snow clothes and we can all go. But imma make chocolate chip pancakes, and you don't wanna miss out on that, do you?" I grin, and Luke gasps and shakes his head.

"Alright. Are you gonna help with breakfast, or do you wanna watch cartoons?"

"Help." He grins, taking off into the kitchen.

I go too, and make pancakes and eggs and bacon and sausage, and when everything is almost done, there's a knock at the door, and Luke hurries to answer it.

I hear chatter, Luke being shy in his headspace but quickly warming up with a giggle when he verbally notices they're all wearing onesies.

And four onesie clad boys make their way into my kitchen and to the table, waiting for breakfast.

It only take about a half hour for all of us to be finished with breakfast, and I clean Luke's face and hands with a wash cloth before taking him to his room to change him into snow clothes and then changing into snow clothes myself.

Ash, mike, and cal all change too with the clothes they brought and then we all go out and sled down the hill nearby, taking turns on Luke's sled and having snowball fights, laughing when one of us would push another down the hill and they'd end up rolling all the way down and having to trudge back up covered in snow.

"Alright, time for hot chocolate and more presents." I say, and all four agree, so we go back inside and change back into onesies, and I serve all the boys hot chocolate.

"We need to get the presents from ash's car." Mike says, so they go out to do that, and I help, leaving Luke inside and telling his jittery self to be good.

It's not five minutes when I come back in, carrying a few wrapped boxes, and my poor baby boy is covered in hot chocolate, sobbing. It's all over his chin, neck, and onesie, and there a bit dripping on the floor, as he's sat sobbing into his knees.

"I sowwy! Sowwy! Didn't mean ta! No mad! Sowwy! Not naughty!"

He sobs out jumbled words as the boys come in behind me, looking worried, and then morphing into expressions I can't read as I coo and bend down to help Luke up.

"It's okay, baby boy, I'm not mad, you're not naughty. It was an accident, baby, mommy knows. It's ok, Cmon, lets get you cleaned up. You don't need to apologize." I assure as I pick him up and carry him to the nursery, stripping off his soaked onesie as he sobs.

I cringe when I notice the red mark down his chest, it must've been pretty hot still.

"No mad! I Sowwy!" Luke sobs when seeing my frown, and I sh him.

"No, no baby, mommy's not mad."

"Atsident!" He cries, And I nod.

"Yeah, baby, I believe you, dont worry, calm down, little one. Does it hurt, baby boy?"

"Es, mommy, huwt! Make it betta! Pees!" I fries and kiss his cheeks, wiping away his tears.

"Guys!" I yell. "Could one of you bring me the medicine box? It's in the kitchen above the fridge."

Calum comes in holding the black box, and he sets it next to me with a strange expression I can't place on his face as Luke embarrassedly burries his face in my neck, my hair shielding him as he cries into me.

"Thankyou, Calum." He nods but doesn't respond as he watches me pull Luke away from me, grab some wipes and wipe the remaining liquid off Luke.

"Cal Go pees." Luke requests shyly, and Calum frowns, but silently leaves the room, and I lay Luke down on his back on a blanket on the floor rub cream on the irritated, red areas of Luke's skin.

He continues to cry and rub his eyes as I do so, and then I place gentle kisses to his chest and cheeks, pulling him up and placing him on my hip so he can cry into me as I fetch a new onesie, the old one abandon in a laundry hamper.

I change Luke into the new onesie and bounce and comfort him until he calms down before bringing him back out to the living room, where the boys end their whispered conversation at the sight of us.

"He okay?" Ashton asks in a monotone voice. I frown at his voice, and nod.

"Yeah. He's a little burnt, and embarrassed I think-" Luke whines and squirms at my words. "-but he's okay. Why don't you go see ash, baby?" I say gently to Luke, who sniffles and nods, climbing off my lap- seeming reluctant to do so -to go stand in front of ash.

"Hi, Lukey." He hums, smiling at the blonde little. "You wanna open the presents we got you?" Luke smiles a bit and nods, sitting cross cross on the floor and going to grab one of the presents, but he's cut off.

"That ones for big Luke, bubba." Michael says, and Luke nods, grabbing the other one with the same wrapping paper and looking to mike. "There we go." Mike smiles, and Luke smiles back, unwrapping it and finding a fairly large nerf gun.

The small boy grins and thanks Michael excitedly before putting some of the foam bullets in the gun and shooting it at Ashton, which causes ash to gasp and tickle him.

Ashton called a few weeks ago asking about what he and the other boys should get Luke, if they should get something Luke would like both in and out of headspace. I'd told him I was getting Luke separate gifts for headspace Luke and big Luke, and evidently they've all done the same.

Next, Luke opens ash's present, which is a stuffie, a blanket, a sippy cup, a dummy, and a story book that all have the same characters from the story on them, the stuffy being the main character in the story- a tiger.

Calum got little Luke a remote control car, and Luke thanked each of them before grinning and hopping up, running to his room.

When Luke comes back, he's carrying four crudely wrapped packages, and he grins as he sets them down in front of the boys, handing each boy the one that's for them, and then sits next to me on the couch.

The three begin opening their presents as Luke leans over to whisper to me "You're presents are still in my room, I meant to give them to you this morning but I was little so I kind of forgot..," He trails off awkwardly and I smile.

"You're so cute. Thankyou baby." I grin, pecking his lips, and he smiles.

"I'll give them to you and open your other presents when the boys leave." He grins, and I nod.

"Is there a reason you wanna wait til the boys are gone?" I chuckle, and he blushes.

"They're jerks, don't want them around. It'll be more special if it's just us." He says cutely, and I almost explode because he's so damn adorable and god I love him.

"Okay, babe. I can't wait."

"Same." He grins.

The boys have finished now and I look back to see he got Calum a new skateboard, Michael a small drone, and Ashton a drum, I'm assuming to replace one that broke in ash's drum kit.

I tilt my head, knowing all these gifts are fairly expensive and wondering where lu got the money.

All three boys thank luke genuinely before they awkwardly had me presents, and I raise an eyebrow.

"Oh, I didn't expect you to get me anything." I grin. "Thankyou."

I open each of their gifts, finding that Ashton got me a nice eyeshadow palette, Michael got me a box of chocolate truffle things, and Calum got me a pack of lush bath bombs.

I thank them and then give the three of them the gifts I got them. I got them each a pair of bluetooth headphones because I don't really know what they like except for music, and Luke said they didn't have any as far as he knew when I asked.

Awkward Thankyous come from the three of them and then a conversation begins about something, and Luke leans over to me.

"They're acting weird." He mutters, and I nod.

"Yeah, it kinda seems like they have been, since they went to get the presents."

"D-do you th-think it's because they saw me- y-yknow, like, crying? When I was little?" Luke asks insecurely, and I frown and shake my head.

"No, baby. I don't know, it seems like they're acting weird to me. But not towards you. You know they love you, no matter what."

Luke frowns and cuddles into me as he joins the conversation, and I input something every-once in a while.

At 1 I order pizza for lunch and the boys continue to act weird.

"Okay, why are you guys acting so shady?" Luke finally questions.

They frown and don't answer, causing Luke to prod further, and finally Michael speaks up.

"Luke, why were you so terrified Delilah was gonna be mad when you spilled hot chocolate?" He asks in a harsh tone, and Luke blushes and looks down, frowning.

"I-I don't know. Cause I was little."

Michael scoffs. "That doesn't tell us anything. Why did little Luke think delilah would be mad at him just for spilling something?" He says in an accusatory tone, and I frown, but don't butt in.

"Well, just b-because- I don't know- I act weird when I'm little. I get u-upset easily and I'm kinda insecure."

"Bullshit. I don't think you'd just be terrified Delilah would be mad over something small like that if she hadn't overreacted before." He prods, and I clench my teeth. Michael turns his gaze to me, glaring.

"She hasn't! M-mike, you're being ridiculous. I'm the overreactive one when I'm little, my brain just runs wild. I jus got upset and embarrassed and was thinking of worse possible outcome, that's what I do hen I'm little, Delilah's perfect, don't talk like that. Don't think like that." Luke says defensively, cuddling further into me.

"I don't believe you, Luke." Michael says, and Luke looks to Calum, who frowns.

"I- I kinda agree with Michael. It seemed weird that you'd think she was gonna be mad over an accident if it hadn't happened before." Luke scoffs quietly and looks to Ashton, who shrugs and doesn't say anything.

Tears spring to my eyes at the fact that these boys think I'd do something like that, whether they think I'd abuse Luke physically or verbally or mentally or even just wildly overreact when he does something.

Luke stands up, obviously upset. "I can't fucking believe you!" He sneers at them, and they just give him distrustful looks. "Obviously I'm gonna be jumpy, especially in little space, I spent the last ten years of my life being beaten for every little mistake by my dad! So yeah, when I'm in little space, I get worried I'm gonna get in trouble for stupid shit, but not because of Delilah! She hasn't done shit wrong, I fucking love her, she's probably the reason I'm fucking alive, and she's the one who got me out of that miserable situation, helped me be happy! what the fuck did you lot do? Nothing! So fuck off! Get out! Leave!" Luke shouts, the three standing up and backing away as Luke yells at them. Tears began streaming down his face about halfway through his rant, and I'm nearly on the verge of sobbing, both at what the three thought of me, and at Luke's defense of me.

"Luke-" comes Ashton's apologetic voice, but he's cut off.

"No! I don't wanna fucking hear it! I can't believe you guys! You're supposed to be my best mates, and yet you don't believe I can actually have something good happen to me! 'No, it has to be fake. She must really be abusing him.' God, get the fuck out!" Luke shouts, and the three quickly scurry out, Luke shitting the door behind them and ten leaning his back on it, sliding down to his butt and pulling his knees to his chest as he breathes heavily.

I try not to let my sobs through, but a choked noise escapes, making Luke look up at me with red eyes.

The blonde frowns and stands, walking over to me and sitting down next to me, pulling me closer. I put my les over his and scoot closer, wrapping my legs around his hips and my arms around his neck and his legs wrap around me and arms around my waist.

"It's okay, Lilah." He tries to comfort, and I start sobbing, overwhelmed with multiple emotions.

Luke begins sobbing as well, and we just hold each other tightly until we both calm down.

"I'm sorry." Luke croaks, and I frown. "For them. They have no reason to think that- no right to say that. You're such a good mommy and girlfriend and you've done so much for me and I appreciate all of it and you so much. You have no idea. I-I love you." He says quietly in my ear and I smile through my tears.

"I love you, too, Luke. So so much. So glad you're mine, baby boy." I croak out, and Luke squeezes me tighter, before pulling back and kissing me.

Oh my fucking god this is so long and dramatic and I originally wrote it meaning for it to be cute and fluffy and the only drama was supposed to be Luke spilling hot chocolate on himself and being embarrassed about crying but then I thought "wait what if the fact that he's asking her not to be mad makes them think she's abusive" and I went with it and I kinda regret it but wow good ass drama is cool too ig, idk, it ended up being 3000 words which is a ton and I wrote this in the span of like an hour or two so HOLY SHIT IM ON A ROLL AND NOW I CANT STOP TYPING

btw did u guys know I write all this shit on my phone? Like I 100% of the time just crack out 1000+ word chaps on my little iPhone SE keyboard which I didn't realize wasn't what everyone does, but I read someone an and it was like "I had to write this chapter in my phone that's why it's so short" and I'm like 'bitch, what?'
