|*Ruhana is a young woman and she is in a dilemma when she meets ACP Vineet. How will she realise that this man is not the one from her dark past?*|

Ruhana Mishra, A 30 years old, working woman. She's kind, compassionate and helping. Her life revolves around her parents, Abhijeet - Tarika Mishra, and a teenage girl named Bulbul. Yet, the young lady seems to be holding some kind of pain in her heart. She wakes up at night suddenly, because bad| memories. She doesn't know if ACP Vineet is the same guy, her friend and love, back in time. She's looking at the moon, when her trance is broken as the door of her room opens and her parents enter in. Her father smears her head. He also finds a picture in her hand. He takes the picture and smiles. It's a picture of her childhood, where she's just a few days old, her mother is holding her in her arms.

Tarika smears her head while Ruhana looks at her mother and hugs her.

"Ruhana, what happened?" she asks softly.

"I am a bad daughter." she whispers.

Tarika and Abhijeet share a glance while Tarika sits beside her and cups her face.

"No Beta! It's not like this. You're the best we could wish for." Tarika says.

"Yes Princess! Don't say that ever again." her father glares at her.

"But I am. So much happened because of me. It was my mistake, but you two are also suffering. A daughter isn't supposed to hurt her parents." she says tearily.

"No beta! You didn't hurt us. Par tumhare aansu zaroor hume rulate hain." Tarika says and pulls Ruhana in a hug.

Ruhana breaks into tears in her mother's embrace. Her tears pains her parents, specially her father. He keeps his hand on Ruhana's head.

"Ruhana, everything will be fine, beta. Please don't cry!" he says.

"How, Papa? I mean you know what's happening with me. Main chah kar bhi kuch bhula nahi pa rahi. I am tired, Papa." She says tearily.

Abhijeet settles beside Ruhana and kisses her head softly.

"Problems always come with solutions, beta. Ye aansu problem solve nahi karenge, bache." He says.

"Yes beta! Papa sahi keh rahe hain. Please stop crying." Tarika says.

"Yes! We will find a solution beta." he says.

"How and when? ACP Vineet!! Wo mujhe kuch bhulne hi nahi dete." Ruhana says.

"Beta! That's the past. Sirf ek naam pe toh zindagi tiki nahi hoti na?" Abhijeet says.

"you have to move on. Vineet nahi Vinay ke baare mein socho. Your future lies with Vinay. Wo inspector Vineet sirf Bulbul ko protect kar raha hai. Ye case khtm ho jayega toh wo bhi chala jayega." Tarika says.

Ruhana calms down and nods affirmatively. Her mom is right. She should be thinking about Vinay. Vineet was her past, and she's not sure if this Vineet is the same from her past. She takes a deep breath while her mother kisses her head softly and asks her to relax. They leave her room while she sits on the bed, keeps her head on the bed rest. Her thoughts are wandering over Vineet and the girl, Bulbul.

She feels very much connected to Bulbul, she loves her like a younger sister. Yet, she feels that there is some other connection between them. Her intuitions about the girl are always right. Even the girl whines when her guesses come out right. But, she just met her at the orphanage. She doesn't know how her feelings are so deep towards Bulbul. Her trance is broken by her phone ring. It's a video call from Bulbul. She's currently living with Vineet at his home. It's her habit to call her before going to sleep. She attends the call, when Bulbul's cheerful voice falls in her ears.

"Dii! I misshh you. " she says.

"I miss you too, meri jaan! How are you?" Ruhana asks.

"I know Di! That's why I called you. Nai toh aap mujhe sone nahi dete raat ko. Itni hichki aa rahi thi mujhe." Bulbul says innocently.

Ruhana just smiles at the girl. She knows Bulbul is  doing it to refresh her mood, since she knows that Ruhana isn't pleased with Vineet. For the next thirty minutes, it's Bulbul who's talking, while Ruhana is humming occasionally and admiring the girl. When she sees Bulbul yawning, she asks her to sleep and promises her to meet at the weekend. Bulbul gets happy and they disconnect the call. A faint smile appears on Ruhana's lips.

Whenever she's with Bulbul, she feels lively and happy. The young girl has a charm that keeps her happy. She feels there is something more about the girl that she doesn't know. She feels there is a relation between them which is more precious than that of a sibling. She unlocks her phone that has her picture with Bulbul on the home screen. She smears her thumb over Bulbul's face, as if promising to find the depth of their relationship.

She keeps her phone on charge and picks her diary from the drawer. She opens a fresh page and begins to write. It's her habit to write her feelings in the diary that's gifted to her by her parents. She  feels lighter when she pours out her feelings. She writes about how she feels for something or some incident. The last few pages are filled with anger when she met Vineet. Though, they both misunderstood each other, yet, Ruhana feels that if Vineet had heard her, she won't have been hurt. He could hear her and then respond, but he didn't. Instead, he took her wrong and offered her money, because he felt she needed it. If he had heard her, she might have some respect for him. She agrees that he saved her little girl, but she couldn't forget the way he has treated her.

Her Thoughts trail to the day he misbehaved and the way he saved Bulbul. Yet, his name is a problem. She feels certain feelings bubbling in her heart. She feels as if she knows him, but her heart doesn't agree. Because, she can't never forget the person she loved, and this young man is quite different from the guy she loved. So, why is he affecting her so much!

She sighs as he's always on her mind since she got to know about him. She feels angry on him, whenever she thinks about him, she feels a rage rising through her body. She doesn't know how to face him. She sighs as she finishes her diary entry.

"Stop plaguing my dreams,
Don't want to think about you,
I want to forget you,
You've hurt me,
I can't bear another scar,
You're haunting me,
Stop scaring,
Stop hurting,
Just go away from where you came,
I don't want to think,
Leave me on my path alone,
Because, I can't take any more scars on my heart,
Stop plaguing my life. "

As she finishes penning down her thoughts, she realises, they end on the man, whom she doesn't trust. She sighs. She needs to move on, she needs to trust herself, more than anyone. She needs to think of the future, not of the past. She reads the lines she just wrote, she takes a deep breath, and closes the diary. Hopefully, he won't affect her anymore. She keeps the diary back at its place and lies on the bed. Pouring her feelings have made her feel light and better. She closes her eyes, to get some rest for her tired soul, in a hope to find her true love, which she has lost, years ago.
