I had this idea after thinking: What if a beyblade tournament has a hidden agenda?

The Legend Festival finally end, with Lane Valhalla being the champion. The ending no one expected that leave many bladers frustrated.

The hidden purpose of this tournament never succeeds which is: Revenge on Lane, changing Lane, and improving the Asahi bladers.

But Valt believes this is not the end, he sees a new light in the tournament despite losing.

He just needs to pull off this new plan properly.

Hyuga Asahi and Hikaru Asahi, the bluenette remember the first day they meet, that time he can feel something special about them.

He believes they can ignite a revolution!

They just need one more push, something that will ignite the power sleeping inside them.

And Valt knows exactly what to do about that.

The door behind opens and two footsteps can be heard. The wonder boy doesn't need to turn around to guess who are these people

"Valt, you ok?" A concerned voice asks him that belongs to Hikaru, who is with Hyuga right now.

The Legend of Legends hide a mysterious smile, still facing them behind, his plan is now starting.

"That Lane, he's really powerful huh. His massive flare, I just couldn't handle it" He said nonchalantly like he was just explaining the weather with hidden agenda.

A cryptic smile formed on his lips. "I still have ways to go, I guess," he said, a soft gasp let out from the Asahi brothers.

That's right, just because on the top now, doesn't mean he will stop aiming high. He knows that even when you're the best, there's always something new to discover when it comes to Beyblade.

The bluenette stands up and approaches the Asahi brothers who still have confusion coloring their faces, he put both of his hands on their shoulders.

"This just means, we've all got to keep getting stronger," He said and a new light of hope sparked within the brother's eyes.

"Wakiya, please create a tag team tournament"

The newly proclaimed Commissioner of WBBA choke in surprise upon hearing that. He was busy handling some paperwork until his friend decided it was a good idea to greet him like this.

Shock-slanted royal blue eyes meet pleading hazel brown eyes.

"W-what?" Wakiya shutters in lack of understanding, it's already night, and he can't focus at all.

Valt take a deep breath and take a seat to explain this properly, " You need an idea to create a tournament as the new commissioner aren't you? Well I have suggestions for you" the bluenette said in a persuasive and intriguing tone that caught the blond's attention.

Now that woke him up, dark blue eyes narrow in focus, willing to listen to his suggestion.

When Valt can see Wakiya's complete focus on him, he continues to elaborate more, "A continuation tournament in the recent Legend Festival, but this time it consists of 2 v 2 battles, but the bladers are the one who will decide who they wanna team up with. This will be the first tag team tournament. What do you think"

Wakiya blinked in surprise, that look like a great idea.

"That sounds great! We should call it Ultimate Tag Series!" Wakiya exclaimed in excitement, the bluenette smiled in relief, he was glad his friend liked it.

"The name sounds cool," Valt said as he watch Wakiya getting fired up.

The first phase of his plan is now working, all he needs to do is promote it and do some internal matters.

"Hey hey hey, you're up to something. Those eyes are gleaming dangerously. Please tell me." Aiga plead turquoise eyes shining in curiosity

Valt smile, Aiga is his close friend and sometimes accomplice, so he deserves to know either way. "Let's say an incoming tag team tournament will be coming," he said and wink at him.

Turquoise eyes widen in surprise, he let out a gasp of excitement. "That's cool"

Valt nod, but his body freeze in shock at the maroon boy's unexpected action.

Aiga is hugging him tightly. "You're doing this for everyone, aren't you? Thank you so much," he said in gratefulness and Valt pat his head gently as he let go. He's quick to catch up.

"Well, the moment the tournament was announced. You better go to Ranjiro because Hikaru will go after you" He said and Aiga chuckled. He got a fan.

That aside, Valt knows that Ranjiro wanted to battle against the legends and that's one of the reasons this tournament was created.

"I know this upcoming tournament is for Lane, Hyuga, and Hikaru. But just you know, I won't hold back and you better be ready too." A competitive grin plastered on the Scarlet Supernova blader.

"I know you would," Valt said and grin that make Aiga smile with him too.

"Valt-senpai!"

A cheerful voice echoes throughout the place, with a dash of yellow flashing through his eyes, and a pair of tight and warm arms wrapping around his body.

Hazel brown eyes soften at the sight of his former students hugging him. "Hello, Drum. How are you?" He greets the blond who smiles brightly at him and lets go of him.

"I'm doing fine, even though I lost in the tournament, I'm still glad I managed to team up with Silas and especially Lui and then have a battle with Aiga!! " Drum explains in high spirits, he's still having fun despite losing, and that's important.

Valt's eyes glint in akin secrecy, "You enjoy battling with Lui? I'm glad to hear that" He said and Drum nodded

Drum nod and grin brightly "Yeah! He was scary at first but he's a cool person!" He explains and Valt like his answer

"That aside, let's battle!" Drum offer and Valt chuckle at his enthusiasm, classic Drum.

"That sound amazing but what if I told you we're gonna battle two amazing bladers today," Valt said cryptically which make the younger boy gasp in excitement.

"Valt! Drum!"

A voice booms from behind, and the two look from behind to spot a tall boy with a pompadour blond hairstyle and dark brown eyes.

"What is it, Honcho?" Valt, ask his best buddy even though he already had an inkling idea.

Rantaro grinned, "I would like to invite you two in the Bombers to battle Hyuga and Hikaru with their new evolve beys" he explain with a hint of proudness, he was the coach after all.

Drum gasped in surprise, emerald eyes shining in excitement, as he look over to his senpai who wink at him.

Just like he's hoping to happen, Hyuga and Hikaru evolve their beys, and their power skyrockets. The Asahi brothers are improving so fast!

And his suspicion is correct, during his battle with Hyuga, a flare manifested that time and Hikaru this time.

"Hyperion, Helios, and Lucifer, so each one of them has their flare, could they be the same?" Valt mutter in question then he gasps in realization as he holds his bey

("Flare emerge from Lane, I saw it. This fighting spirit took the form of a flame. When I looked into that flame, I saw the future of the blading world")

Shu's words echo in his mind as he smiles.

"The future, wow" Valt let a soft gasp of admiration as he remembers Hyuga and Hikaru emitting flare.

"That's crazy" he mutters in newfound respect.

Their flare might be born from different roots, Lane from the desire to trample his opponents and lust for power, and the Asahi brothers from the desire to improve their skills and to have fun.

But they have one thing in common, the desire to win and reach the top. The same very reason that will change everything he knows in the balding world.

The current progress is not something he expected, but needed, this would help the situation.

"Valt"

The bluenette turns around at the mention of his name, "Hey, Honcho"

"I just wanted to thank you, y'know for battling the pipsqueak for me" Rantaro gratefully said.

"Well I should be thanking you, Honcho, it was so much fun," Valt genuine said

Rantaro snorted, " Yeah, 'cause their teacher is a genius," he said which make Valt chuckle.

"It looks like those guys started a revolution," Valt said in fondness.

Rantaro nodded "I guess they did"

"I failed, I wasn't able to change Lane's mind " Shu sorrowfully explain which make Valt look at him worriedly.

"His flare is far too dangerous, at this rate, he'll burn himself completely." The Crimson Flame blader wince at what he just said, that is something he wishes wouldn't happen.

"It's difficult to educate another blader. I just want to put him on the right path" hopelessness is starting to taint the albino.

"Hmm, I wonder..." Valt softly mutters, before he can continue his sentence, Shu cut him off.

"Valt, did I make a mistake? Maybe I'm all wrong?" Shu said with uncertainty in his voice and Valt interfere before it gets out of hand.

"No, I think on the contrary that you did for the best" Valt said with overwhelming genuineness, which make Shu smile at the warmness his heart feel.

The next day, Valt proposed a tag battle against Hyuga and Hikaru to Shu.

His best friend seems hesitant at first but he speaks highly to the Asahi brothers to get his attention.

This battle is meant to show him the bright flare he discovered, remind him how bey battle could be so fun, and promote the tag team battle that he makes sure will be broadcast around the world.

Phase two of his plan is now working, the tournament will announce later on after the battle.

The tournament finally came, and the matchup came up as he expected. But there is something he didn't anticipate.

Shu went undercover to team up with Lane.

Valt doesn't know how to react during that time. He's not sure if he should support this and pretend he knows nothing or groan in frustration because it reminded him of the Red Eye days. He honestly has a trauma about that and to see Shu like this, makes him want to slap his face in annoyance.

Take note: Burn his black coat as he did to the Red Eye's previous clothing.

His act is very convincing, he manages to trick Lane, Hyuga, Hikaru, and Rantaro after all.

It seems Lui has an inkling idea too about what's happening, well he's always ahead of others.

Oh well, as long the plan will work, it doesn't matter what is needed to do.

The Ultimate Tag Series Tournament ended up in a good way, just like he's hoping for. Shu manages to change Lane and make his flare shine like a sun, and the Asahi brothers become stronger and accomplished the revolution they desire.

Everything goes according to his plan, he's very relieved that this succeeds.

And that's the reason he was hailed as the Wonder Boy, he could perform miracles on the stage, and that could work on other people as well. People can think his works are just fluke or luck, but everything goes according to his plan, he's the one who's controlling the strings and people won't suspect a thing about him. His best friend is not aware of this, only his trustable accomplice knows his talent. He can achieve impossible things other people cannot do.

"Looks like your plan succeeded, Valt. Well done."

The bluenette turns around to see Wakiya, his usual cocky smirk displayed on his face. Of course, he's aware of the things, what would be the reason he would support him after all?

Valt smile at his praise "Thanks, it all thanks to your help"

Wakiya snorted at his response "Of course, I'm capable of doing anything" he proudly make Valt giggle softly.

"That aside, do you have any plans to become the WBBA Commissioner in the future?"

Valt didn't see that question coming from Wakiya's mouth.

"No?" He answered that sounded like a question.

The blond sighed, " Aww, what a shame. It suits you. I will be the Director and you can be the Commissioner. With your talent and kindness, you can make the Beyblade World a better place like you usually do" He said in his usual cocky tone, but he meant every praise he said to his friend.

Valt almost blushes at his flattery, it's really rare for Wakiya to compliment people. "Thanks, I'll think about" he shyly said.

Wakiya smiles softly at him, with no trace of cockiness, only genuine feelings can be seen through.

The bluenette almost freeze when he realized that smile is for him, it looks good on his friends.

When Wakiya spoke, Valt's eyes widen in surprise and happiness.

"You always do what's better in the Beyblade World, ever since you become the champion, things change drastically in a good way. You always bring inspiration to the legion of bladers around the world and help those newbie bladers to become strong, and that's why I will support you in every way I can. You can always count on me, Valt."
