What if we were cows in Minecraft and we were just fed wheat? Jk jk Unless?

Like after I finish my commissions, I'm gonna close everything indefinitely until I have a "polished" art style again. My art is seriously pissing me off. 

So the "current" way I draw eyes is probably gonna have to go. It was cute but seriously, I couldn't show good facial expressions with them. 

Also the fact that those eyes gave my characters same face syndrome. I don't want to suffer from that at all anymore! So I'm going to make a whole lot of changes. Also I want to stay away from that "SJW Tumblr Art Style" which literally EVERYONE has at some point. 

Legit, a friend of mine is starting to develop it and I'm just oh no 😭😭 The Tumblr style is really pretty of course but legit everyone has it and it's really hard to differentiate yourself from other artist with it. Also the fact that most SJW artist suffer from SEVERE Same Face Syndrome. SO yeah. But nevertheless, having that style doesn't make you less of an artist, most of those tumblr artist who have the SJW style are AMAZING at colouring. Absolutely god tier colouring. 

As I digress, I plan to improve my art style and I really hope I stay away from common mistakes. ((My friend already roasted my art a bit but it's okay because she's amazing and I don't mind. I take it as constructive criticism.))

I actually do see potential in this style A LOT so I'm seriously gonna pursue it. I just need to make some tweaks here and there but other than that we're all good.

What is your art style? Do you have a label for it or is it still under development? 

In all seriousness, I do believe that I have the Cal Art Style (WHICH IS NOT GOOD) since I struggle to get out of my comfort zone. I do understand that I struggle drawing male characters and that's why I only draw females. 

I have pretty horrible anatomy and my technical skills are rather poor. But I'm trying my best to improve! Everyday, I'm doing body studies and such. 

One thing that I am proud of is my colouring/lineless art. I think lineless is my stronghold and it always makes my art look super nice. Also my colour choice is something I'm very proud of. I can easily find good tones that work so well together. I don't even use a palette anymore to get what I want because I KNOW what I want. I think my knowledge with colour is pretty polished and pleasing at times. 

I HATE my shading lmao. I'm gonna work with that once I get a new polished  art style. 

If I were to rate my art, I'd give her a 2/5. Personally, I know I can do a whole lot better. I know some day, maybe in a couple years, I'll be a 5/5 but for know I'm a 2/5.
