Introducing (18)

"Hey, so, now that we're okay with each other . . . Why don't you stay with me- I mean, it can just be for the night or a couple days. I know Emily misses you, and right now would be the perfect time to come see her with how she's been feeling."

"Yeah." You gasped. "Wait- James!"

"What is it?" James started to worry some.

"I have to introduce Emily and the animatronics!" you exclaimed, jumping up. "She'll love them!"

"Birthday girl!" Freddy gasped and giggled.

"I'm not so sure about that," James mumbled, scratching the back of his neck.

"James, I'll say this again: they're in control now. They aren't going to hurt anybody, unless they're meaning to," you sternly told him, a bit annoyed.

"I know. That's not what I'm worried about. I'm worried she may be scared of them, because of . . . their appearances."

James quickly glanced to Molten Freddy, nervously lowering his head. Foxy crossed his arms, understanding what he meant but still slightly insulted.

"Oh, you don't need to worry about that," you chuckled, smirking, "I know what to do."

"Oh, you already have all the chairs put up. Sorry I wasn't here," Michael's voice apologised as he walked into the pizzeria.

"Nah, it's fine. We practically had it done in seconds with Foxy's help," you assured him, making Foxy grin and raise his head cockily.

"That's good to hear . . . How'd it go? Are you and James getting along again?" Michael questioned.

"Yeah, we are," you replied, patting James's shoulder. "In fact, I'm staying the night over at his place."

"Oh, is that so?" Michael grinned.

"Yep! And Molten Freddy and Scrap Baby are coming along to meet Emily!"

"Oh, is that so?" Michael's happy tone had dropped, as well as his grin and shoulders.

"Yeah- Wait, I should probably go tell Baby what's happening."

You nervously chuckled as you started across the pizzeria. When you got to the office and opened the door, you saw William on the edge of the vent. You glared at him, but as Baby looked to you, you smiled and shared her gaze.

"I'm gonna stay with James tonight, and I wanted Emily to meet you and Molten Freddy!" you exclaimed, hoping she would be okay with going.

"Um, you want her to meet us with how we look?" Baby wondered, glancing down to herself.

"Of course! She'll love you guys!" you assured her happily. "I'll tell her all about you guys, and how we met--excluding some details here and there."

You gave her a nervous grin, scratching the back of her neck. Baby shrugged, and you took that as a gesture that she would go.

"Yay! Okay, let's go!" you cheered, bouncing in your step.

"Are you not going to ask me if I want to go?" William's voice made your eye twitch.

"Ha!" You grinned at him innocently. "If you even got near my Emmy, I'd tear you limb from limb."

William sneered and looked down, nodding as he took the hint. You nodded in response, then ushered Baby to follow you.

"She'll come with us!" you announced as you ran over to meet up with Molten Freddy and James.

"Will there be enough room in the truck for both of them?" James questioned.

"There should be . . . If they don't fit the way they are, they can just shapeshift into something smaller until we get there."

"Yeah, that makes sense. Well, as much sense as it can with them being able to shapeshift, or even them being 'alive,' " James mused, making you chuckle.

"Let's go, then!"

"I'll go ahead and finish tonight's tasks," Michael said and started towards the office before anyone could say anything.

You grabbed Molten Freddy's hand and pulled them to the front doors, pushing them open and stepping through them. Soon, it was Molten Freddy leading you to the truck, with you struggling to keep up. A wire had trailed back to grab Scrap Baby's hand.

"Wait--" Baby grunted as she was pulled along. "My wheels are a little rusty."

She shifted her weight side to side as she was rolled across the parking lot. James unlocked the truck before they got to it.

"Alright, Baby, you go in first, then me, then Molten Freddy," you told them as Freddy stopped everyone at the truck.

Baby climbed inside and scooted to the other side, making sure to leave some room for James to sit at the wheel. You got in after her, then Molten Freddy got in behind you. Molten Freddy was able to spread some of his wires across the dashboard to take up less room in the seats.

As James started to get inside on the driver's side, he was greeted by Baby. He cleared his throat as she watched him get in.

"You guys ready?" James made sure as he buckled up.

You glanced to the others, who nodded. "Yep!"

Molten Freddy put wires around you to mimic a seatbelt, making you snicker. James shifted gears and gulped, nervous to be sitting next to Scrap Baby.

"I-is there anywhere you need to stop by on the way there?" James wondered.

"No. What's up with the nervousness?" You raised an eyebrow as you peered past Baby.

"I don't think he likes me being next to him," Baby sneered.

"Oh- Hey, at least you're not on the side her claw's on," you snickered, gesturing to it.

"Hm, I certainly hope it doesn't malfunction again. That would be messy," she mumbled, making your smile drop.

"What?" you blurted, leaning away from it.

"I'm just joking," she chuckled, her smile evident in her voice.

"Welp, we're here," James brought everyone's attention away from the game you were playing on your phone.

"Ooh, I'm so excited for you guys to finally meet her!" you squealed quietly.

"Your excitement is making me excited!" Freddy laughed, slipping out into the garage as you opened the door.

"You can't come out straight away, so you'll have to hide here in the garage for a few minutes. I'll give you guys the 'okay' when everything's ready," you explained as everyone made their way to the door.

Baby nodded her head and looked to Molten Freddy. They nodded back.

The animatronics stepped to the side as James opened the door. You followed him inside, and after looking around him, you spotted Emily asleep on the couch.

You giggled as you snuck over to sit down on the floor in front of her. You lightly tapped on her shoulder.

"Emmy~" you sang quietly, trying to coax her to wake up.

Emily hummed as she started to stir awake. She slowly opened her eyes, looking around. When she saw you, her eyes widened and she smiled groggily.

"(Y/N)!" she cheered in a weak, croaky voice.

"Hiya, Emmy!" you chuckled as she sat up.

"What are you doing here?" she asked, leaning forward to give you a hug.

You smiled and hugged her. "I'm staying here for the night!"

"Yay!" her voice cracked out as she pulled away.

"Aww, you poor thing." You tilted your head sympathetically and rubbed her arm, your eyebrows stitching together. ". . . Hey, how long have you been asleep?"

"What time is it?"

"About 11 at night."

"Hmm . . . Momma, how long how I been asleep?" Emily called out as she turned back, making you chuckle.

"Almost all day," Savannah replied as she walked into the living room; upon seeing you, her eyes widened, "Oh, (Y/N)? Are you staying here tonight?"

"If it's okay with you."

"Of course! The guest room is still set up for you to sleep in."

You nodded. ". . . So- James, if you want to explain to Savannah what's about to happen."

"Hm?" Savannah glanced to James as he nodded and walked around the couch to her.

"So, Emily, I want to introduce you to my friends!" you gushed. "These friends of mine aren't quite like you and I, in that they don't look like us. They're very friendly, though, and I know you guys will get along so well!"

You cleared your throat loudly as an 'okay' for the others to come out. Not a second later, a glowing orb phased through the door, followed by another. Emily's eyes widened as they flew to stop between you and her.

"Woah!" Emily gasped, staring at them in awe as they danced around each other.

"These are just a temporary form they're taking, so this isn't what they're going to look like," you explained as you held up your hand to one of them; the other slowly went around your head to stop beside your face. "I guess they're just trying to show you that they mean well."

As they flew behind you and stopped in the center of the living room, you sat beside Emily on the couch. They slowly started to take their usual shape, not wanting to startle her.

"Now, they may be scary-looking, but they're very nice," you spoke as you held her hand to make her feel better.

When the animatronics finally took their usual appearance, they nervously looked to you. You heard Savannah gasp, having finally noticed what had previously been floating around the room.

"It's okay. They won't hurt us," you heard James quietly assure her.

You looked at Emily, worried she may have been scared. You couldn't tell by her expression how she was feeling, which only made you more worried.

"Are they . . . animatronics?" Emily stammered, though her tone still didn't help figuring out how she felt.

"Yeah! Yeah- You know how at the pizzeria, there are animatronics on the stage that perform?" Emily nodded in response. "Well, there was an old pizzeria that these animatronics used to perform on stage at. They didn't used to look like this, though, but then their pizzeria was destroyed, and they were . . . abandoned."

"Oh, I'm sorry," Emily mumbled.

"They're better now, though. Here, I'll introduce them."

You jumped up from the couch and stepped next to Baby. She glanced at you, then Emily.

"This is Scrap Baby--used to be named Circus Baby--but we just call her Baby."

"Hello." Baby waved and smiled slightly, and Emily shared the gesture.

"She's the leader of the group--the lead singer. She's usually quiet, but there are some times she can be mischievous.

"Oh, and then--" You stepped around Baby and next to Molten Freddy--"this is Molten Freddy. They're actually three of the animatronics combined."

"Combined?" Emily questioned.

"Well, their bodies were combined, but all three of them are still there!" you happily explained. "One of them is Ballora. She's a ballerina."

"Hello, dear," she spoke softly as a wire stretched out to her for a "handshake."

"Hi." Emily smiled as she gently grabbed the wire and shook it.

"She's very soft-spoken and sweet--she's basically the 'mom' of the group . . . Then, there's someone who is usually the opposite: Funtime Foxy--but just Foxy."

"He-llo, little one!" Foxy announced as he straightened up proudly. "You'll have to ignore (Y/N)'s assumption! I may not be as soft-spoken, but I assure you, I can be just as sweet!"

Emily giggled as you crossed your arms and rolled your eyes. He nodded and held his head up pridefully.

"Yeah, but he's usually just a big, sensitive baby with a huge ego," you jeered, making him gasp. "When it comes to an audience, though, he can be sweet--"

"Thank--"

"The ego is obviously still there, though."

"Fu--" Foxy bit his tongue, realizing he was about to cuss in front of Emily.

You eyed daggers at him, silently daring him to continue. He huffed and looked down, mumbling grumpily under his breath.

"Now," you leaned down and whispered to Emily, "the next one will probably be a little bit loud--but that's only because he's very excited to meet you--so just be warned."

"Okay." Emily nodded.

"His name is Funtime Freddy--just Freddy--"

"Hi there!" Freddy exclaimed, his accumulated excitement bursting out of him.

Freddy jumped towards Emily, making everyone's eye widen. Wires lifted her off the couch and into the air, making her yelp.

"Freddy--"

"Look at you--you're so cute and small!" Freddy held her like a baby and pinched her cheek.

"Careful, Freddy." Ballora reminded him, trying to keep him from getting too excited and end up hurting Emily.

"Ballora, Foxy, if you could've given us some sort of warning," you complained, though calming down some as Emily laughed.

"You obviously knew he was going to be this excited," Foxy defended himself. "We've been trying to keep him calm--"

"They could barely contain me!" Freddy laughed. "I've just been so thrilled to finally meet you! I've heard all about you and how sweet you are."

"Yeah, you might say you're overwhelmed--like how you might be making her feel. Emily, are you okay?" you worried some.

"I'm okay!" Emily giggled, then laughed as Freddy twirled around with her.

". . . So, yeah, that's Freddy. As you can tell, he's easily excitable. But, he doesn't exactly understand that he can easily hurt someone in his excitement. He means well, though." You weren't going to add your "sorta" comment. "You see, the three of them in there can take turns having control over their suit. When Freddy's emotions get too out of control, Foxy or Ballora take control of the suit until he calms down. Sometimes, though, it can be too much for them to control, and Freddy can come out in an outburst like he just did."

"So, they're . . . sentient?" Savannah asked, sounding baffled. "How?"

"I- . . . don't know exactly how." You glanced to the others. ". . . I'll let James tell you about me, though."

"What about you?"

"I'll have to tell you later, dear."
