Molly's POV

A lot has happened since my mother's death. The high school got a new history teacher, who is a vampire hunter. But is now friends with us and is dating Elena's aunt Jenna. Katherine is alive and causing trouble. Elena's uncle/ biological dad came into town with her biological mother. They used a device to capture and kill all the tomb vampires. The device also worked on the Lockwoods. We discovered they have the wolf gene. Though Tyler hasn't triggered his.

Caroline was crowned Miss Mystic Falls and is now dating Matt Donovan. She is now a vampire, she was killed by Katherine with Damon's blood in her system. Katherine wants the moonstone. But she's not getting it. Elena and Stefan broke up.

I saw mum's boyfriend after he tried to kill Damon. Speaking of Damon, I make his life a living hell. Stabbing him with stakes in various places and snapping his neck. Though I haven't done it since Katherine came to town three and half weeks ago. The only person I hate more then Damon, is Katherine. For what she did to the Salvatores and Originals. I cut my hair short, but it's start to grow back now. It now rests on my shoulders. And that's just the high lights from the last twenty weeks.

Anyway tonight is the masquerade party at the Lockwoods. Which I am going too. I love a good party. I slept in a little and went downstairs to hear Caroline talking to the Salvatore brothers. Apparently Katherine wanted to see them tonight to give her the moonstone to stop her from going on a killing spree. "Then we kill her tonight" I state as I enter the room.

"For once we're in agreement" Damon tells me smirking.

"We can't underestimate her. We have to play this smarter than her" Stefan tells us.

"Can we just give her the moonstone so she'll leave?" Caroline asks us.

"No, Katherine's not getting dick. I've had it. I'm gonna go to the masquerade ball and I'm gonna kill her, tonight" Damon tells us.

"Not if I get to her first" I tell him.

"Neither of you are going to kill her" Stefan tells us.

"Why not?" I whine.

"Don't give me that goody-goody crap" Damon tells him.

"Neither of you are gonna kill her, because I am" Stefan tells us.

"Great, but we're helping. You can't kill her alone uncle" I tell him. "Call Ric and Bonnie, we'll need them" I add.

"And no doubt little Gilbert will want to help" Damon adds. Stefan nods and contacts Bonnie & Jeremy. While Damon contacted Alaric. I grabbed myself a blood bag and laid on the couch.

"I can help you get ready" Caroline tells me.

"I'd like that" I tell her. I finish my blood bag and go to my room.  Deciding to have a shower.

(Time skip)

I go to the parlor to see Alaric demonstrate how to use a wrist thing with a stake inserted. He jabs at an imaginary vampire. Damon and Stefan share a look. "You wanted me to show you how to kill a vampire" Alaric tells them. Stefan goes to talk to Bonnie, to convince her to help us.

"Anything my size?" I ask Alaric. He looks at me surprise and conflict. "I maybe in a child's body. But I'm the oldest vampire in this house and can fight" I tell him. "Allow me to demonstrate" I say and zoom over to Damon. I jump up and snap his neck. He falls to the ground.

"I thought you'd forgiven him" Caroline says.

"He killed my mother, I'll never forgive" I tell her. "Now, any stakes my size?" I ask Alaric. He hands me a few small stakes and a vervain dart. "Thank you" I say and Stefan returns with Bonnie. They both look at Damon and Stefan gives me a look.

"It's been three and half weeks, a new record" I tell him shrugging. He shakes his head with a small smile. We go over the plan for the night and Damon wakes up.

"Are you sure you guys don't want me there tonight?" Alaric asks Stefan.

"No, I need you to stay with Elena. I don't want her to know about this" Stefan tells him.

"Okay. Well, I'll make sure she doesn't leave my sight" Alaric tells him.

"Alright, if anybody wants to back out, I'll understand" Stefan tells us.

"Yeah. Cold feet speak now. I don't want this going wrong if someone chicken's out. Caroline" Damon says.

"I won't. Look, she killed me. Fair's fair. As long as there's no werewolf running around" Caroline says.

"Oh, I took care of Mason" Damon tells her.

"With help" I remind him. I just pictured Damon, when I helped interrogate Mason. Though Damon was the one to pull out his heart.

"As long as Tyler doesn't kill anyone, he won't turn" Jeremy states.

"Bonnie? Are you with us?" Stefan asks the Bennett witch.

"But no one gets hurt" she says.

"Except Katherine. Tonight Katherine gets a stake through her heart" Damon states as he picks up a stake. I go with Caroline to my room and she helps me get ready. She then gets ready herself. We go downstairs to be greeted by the Salvatore brothers.

"You both look beautiful" Stefan tells us.

"Thank you Uncle Stefan" I say as I accept my mask from him. We get into Damon's car and he drives us to the Lockwood mansion. We're greeted by Carol.

"You look beautiful Molly" she tells me.

"Thank you Mrs Lockwood, you look lovely also" I tell her.

"Please call me Carol, come on in" she tells us. We do so and Stefan gets a text. "Have fun" she tells us.

"The room is ready" Stefan tells us.

"We'll go set up" Damon tells him. Stefan nods and we go upstairs. Bonnie meets us and shows us to the room. Before leaving us to it. "Have you ever killed before?" he asks me.

"I've killed you multiple times" I remind him.

"No, you've snapped my neck" he corrects me. "Have you ever taken someones life?" he asks me.

"No, I haven't" I tell him

"And you think you can kill Katherine?" he asks me.

"I helped kill Mason" I remind him.

"You helped torture him, I killed him" he states. "Just help us restrain her, we'll kill her" he tells me. I tackle him onto the couch grabbing his neck.

"I'm older and stronger then you. Remember that Damon" I tell him. "I'm not some innocent little girl, you turned me into this when you killed my mother" I state.

"Everything ok in here?" Stefan asks as I let Damon up.

"Everything is fine, did you see Katherine?" I ask him.

"Yes, she killed one of the guests. I put the body in the trunk for now" he states.

"We'll dump her when we get back" Damon tells him.

"This is exactly what I didn't want it, Damon" Stefan tells him annoyed.

"Stefan, it's collateral damage" Damon tells him.

"Right, which is why we need to call it off" Stefan tells him.

"What? Who's hesitating now?" Damon asks him annoyed. Hey! Don't do this to me! This woman ruined our lives, she destroyed us! Tonight it ends. We can do it together. I got your back, so does Molly. All right?" he asks.

"All right" Stefan says. Damon messages Jeremy and we get into our positions. Soon Katherine appears with Caroline. She lets go over her and enters the room. Caroline's fake sobbing turns into a chuckle.

"I did it! I really didn't think that I'd be able to fool you, but I did it!" she brags. Katherine rushes over but she can't leave the room.

"What the...? Stefan?" she says turning to face us. "Who's this child?" she asks.

"You're worst nightmare" I tell her.

"You don't really think that you can kill me with a child, do you?" Katherine asks Stefan.

"No, but he can" he states. Damon walks out the closet holding the compressed air weapon. He shoots Katherine in the back with a stake. She gasps in pain. Stefan rushes over to Katherine and drives the stake through her arm. She throws him away and pulls the stakes out. Then tries to stake Damon. But I stake her leg.

She falls to the ground. Stefan grabs her in a choke hold and Damon goes to stake her in the heart. "Stop! You're hurting Elena! Everything you're doing to her is hurting Elena!" Jeremy screams as he appears in the door way. Katherine smiles as Stefan releases her and she gets up.

"You think you two are the only ones with a witch on your side? Wrong and something tells me that my witch is better than your witch" Katherine says smugly.She takes the stake from Damon's hands. Damon, Stefan and I look at Jeremy.

"Jeremy, go check on Elena. Make sure she's okay. Go" Stefan tells him and he leaves our line of sight.

"Let's all make sure poor Elena is okay. Just a little bit more pressure" Katherine says. She cuts the palm of her hand with the stake. Stefan hits Katherine's hand and the stake falls onto the floor. Katherine takes another stake and is about to drive it through her stomach. "This is really going to hurt" she tells us.

"Wait!" the Salvatore's shout. She smirks and sits on the couch.

"So about that moonstone" she says.

"You ain't getting it" I tell her.

"Who are you?" she asks me.

"Lexi's daughter" I state.

"Ah her, I've heard of her" she states. "Heard she died" she states. I go to stake her.

"Molly no!" Stefan shouts.

"Yes Molly, please" Katherine says. Damon pulls me off her. I elbow him and stalk over to the window.

"As soon as the spell is lifted, I'll drive a stake into your heart" Damon tells her.

"God, you're hot. When did you get so hot?" she asks him. A witch appears in the door way.

"Katherine, the spell on this room has been broken, you're free to leave" she tells her. Holding the moonstone.

"Thank god" Katherine says and goes over to her.

"When I hand this over my debt to you is over" the witch tells her.

"Done" Katherine tells her.

"I owe you nothing" the witch tells her.

"I said done. Give it" Katherine tells her.

"I wouldn't" Damon tells her. The witch gives Katherine the moonstone. When Katherine touches it, she can't breathe.

"You should have told me another witch was involved. She's a Bennett witch, Katherine, but I'm sure you knew that" she states.

"Wait, Elena!" Stefan says worried.

"Elena's fine" the witch tells him. Katherine falls to the floor unconscious. "The spell is broken. She'll heal quickly, Bonnie's with her" she tells us before leaving.

"What are we going to do with her?" I ask the Salvatores.

"Put her where she belongs" Damon states and I inject her with Vervain. He throws her over his shoulder and leaves. Stefan goes to talk to Elena. I told him I'd walk home and I will. But I wanted to talk to Elena also and apologize to her.

I go to where all the cars are parked and find her car. I sit on the hood of it and wait. I soon see her walking towards me on her phone. "Yeah Jeremy, I've got my car. Tell Bonnie that whatever she did, I'm starting to feel better. Yeah, you can drive her home. I'm just gonna go straight to bed. Okay" she says and hangs up.

"I'm sorry Elena" I tell her.

"About what Molly?" she asks as I hop off of her car.

"For hurting you" I tell her. "I know I did it unknowingly, but I've never hurt a human before. Werewolf and vampire yes, but never a human. I'm very sorry" I tell her.

"I'm fine, it was an accident" she tells me. "Do you need a lift?" she asks.

"Nuh, I'll walk. It's a beautiful night" I tell her looking up at the sky. She looks up and nods her head in agreement. She looks behind me and her eyes widen. Before I can say anything I feel a prick in my neck and my world goes black.
