70: Month Two

"We've got to get these invites out, babe. Can't you waddle any faster?" Sangwoo was trying to get you to the car.

"One, I want these out too and two, I'm not waddling! I'm not even showing yet!" You complained as you walked at your own pace.

"Wait for me!" Bum called out from the doorway.

Sangwoo rolled his eyes, but smiled. Everything was going pretty well and today was a particularly exciting day. The wedding invitations were going out and the wedding was in just three weeks.

"Does he have to come, Sang? I thought I was going to pick out my dress today..." You puffed your cheeks out and pouted.

"Yeah, we're going to go see a friend of mine from university." You were surprised that he had made a friend so quickly. He had only begun his final semester a week ago.

You were helped into the car by your fiance and then he and Bum both entered the car.

"I'm gonna murder the shit out of her later, so don't get too close with her, alright my love?"

A twisted smile appeared on your face. You had missed the blood and the gore. Besides the slaughter of the random family in your cabin, there hadn't really been anything violent in the last few weeks.

"Do I have to watch this?..." Bum asked quietly. He really didn't want to watch you try on wedding dresses.

"Nah. Besides, I already worked out a deal with this girl, so we won't even have to pay for the dress. You're going to come with me. It's bad luck to see a bride in her dress before the big day." Sangwoo explained before he started the car.

The ride to the bridal boutique was quiet, but exciting. You had never gotten married, of course, and you couldn't wait to try on all the dresses that you had seen in the media. Before you knew it, Sangwoo had parked the car and opened your door. As you took his outstretched hand, he smiled genuinely at him.

"Madam... Maybe I could escort you in?" He winked at you as you giggled.

"Of course, sir!" You held his hand tightly as you waltzed into the dress store.

"Hello!" The store associate cheered. "Welcome to our boutique, how can we help you?"

"Good afternoon, Ae-Jeong. It's me and my fiance, just as promised." Sangwoo turned on the charm for this girl while you hung off of him.

This must be her. That'll be fun. You smiled twistedly, imagining her guts spilling out onto the basement floor.

"Oh yes, Sangwoo. Leave her to me, I'll take care of her!" Ae-Jeong smiled back.

"You better! I'll be back in a half hour or so. I gotta go to the hardware store." With a quick kiss of the forehead, you were left alone and Ae-Jeong's face dropped.

"Let's just get this over with." She said blandly.

"That dress. I want that one." You pointed to a dress that was blush pink, a top made of fabric roses and a full length, empire-waist tulle skirt. A ribbon held it all together.

"Hmm. Pleasantly quick. I guess let's try it on. Sangwoo wouldn't be happy with me if I let you choose an ugly dress." She sighed.

"I can choose whatever I want." You smiled at her again, but instantly dropped your decibel level. "Including how you die."

"What?" She turned to look at you with wide eyes.

"I want him to cry. When he sees it, you know?" You took the dress from her and went into the dressing room.
