{Nimish's POV}

I was waiting for Nia at party,45 minutes passed but she didn't came back.

This was making me perturbed.

I mumbled to myself," Nimish what if she is into some problem?"

I placed the glass of cold drink down on the table and decided to go to Nia's room which was at second floor.

I tried calling her but her phone was unreachable.

I pressed the elevator button,but it was busy.

I was getting restless,my heart started thumping fast,I was sweating.

Hence, I immediately climbed up the stairs.

I ran and reached second floor.With every step I was trembling

''I would have not told Nia to change''

''How stupid of you Nimish?''

I prayed god,please keep her safe.

I knocked at her door,and it was left open.

Thousands of thoughts passed at that moment.

I gathered up courage and mumbled to myself,"no Nimish no don't think too much go step inside her room.''

I gathered up my audacity and went in.

She was not on her bed nor in bathroom.

I heard her sobbing.

This made me worried.

I went behind the curtains,she was sitting on the floor pressing her palms against her face.

I bent forward,with crackling voice I asked her,''Nia,what happen tell me? Are you fine?''

And that's when her phone,which was kept on the floor rang, 'Vikram calling.''

I immediately got up and picked the phone,before I could say hello.

Vikram said,''Nia,I request you please don't come here at hospital granny will be fine,we will take care of her,you just keep yourself calm.'' 

''Vikram,Nimish this side.Sir where is Nia?''

I replied,''she is here with me.''

''Sir,please take care of her,she wants to come here in Mumbai at hospital.''Vikram said.

I answered,''yes I know,but what happen to granny?''

Vikram replied,''sir cardiac arrest.''

I said,''Oh! so how is she now?''

''She is on ventilator.''Vikram said.

He further added,''sir please keep Nia calm,she is very stubborn,I can't allow her to come at hospital late night.Sir please try to make her understand.''

Though I was speaking on phone but my eyes were gazed on Nia.

I couldn't see her condition.

I said,"Vikram,I'll take care,she is my responsibility and,need not worry about her.''

Vikram said,''thank-you so much sir for supporting us in our hard times.''

''It's ok Vikram,its my duty to protect her.''

He thanked and hanged up the call.

I sat on the floor in front of her.

"Shhh.!!! bacha bas !!! Nia tell me what happen?''I wiped out tears from her cheeks.

''Tell me baby what do you want me to do?''

 "Sir,I cannot lose her? I love her,I need to go."

"Nia bacha look at the timing.''I said.

She suddenly hugged me,with her trembling voice Nia said,''sir I want to go please sir,allow me.I don't want to lose her,if I will be around her she will get up,sir please let me go.Sir she is my everything please.''

I couldn't see tears in her eyes,I got up and  gave her glass of water but she denied it.

"Nia don't do this?''She took glass from my hand and kept on the floor.

I again sat on the floor,pulled her cheeks, caressed her hair and made her drank water.

"Sir I request you please let me go.''

"Do you trust me."I asked in my stern voice.

Her hug gave me surety.

I said,"ok''

I took Nia's phone and called Vikram and said,"I and Nia will be leaving Mahabaleshwar right now.I can't see her condition like this,we will reach Mumbai by 4'0 clock in the morning.Take care of granny.''

''Sir please,I request you don't take too much trouble for us.I will be sending car tomorrow.'' Vikram said.

''No Vikram, it's not about the trouble,I can do anything for Nia.So we will be there by morning.''I answered.

He said,''Ok sir,thanks for everything.''

''It's ok Vikram.'' I said and hanged up the call.

Nia was still wailing out,I bent down and sat again in front of her.

I gently took her face between my palms and said,"you want to meet your granny right.''

She nodded.

''Get up,Pack your bags we are going right away.''

"I love you sir,thanks for everything."

We got up together and I hugged her again.

I broke the hug,took few strands of hair,and placed behind her ears and said,"pack your bags,I will talk to Rohit and will pack my bags too.

I asked her,''can you give me 5 minutes baby?''

She shook her head,''Nia please baby only 5 minutes,let me also pack my bag.''

She pulled me closer and we once again hugged each other,she snuggled her nose against my chest and asked,''sir granny will be fine na?"

"Yes she will be fine.Because my Nia is going to meet her.''

I kissed her forehead.

But,before stepping out the room.

I said,'' Nia no more crying,I'm coming here in 5 minutes.''

I immediately went to my room,packed my bags,called Rohit but he didn't picked up.

I booked an Uber for us.

I went to Nia's room and asked her "are you ready."

She nodded.

I called the room service to pick our bags.

 I held Nia's cold hand.And stepped inside the elevator.

The car came at the gate of resort,the room service attendant kept our bags inside the trunk and without wasting time,we boarded in.

I messaged Rohit about Nia's condition and informed him that we are leaving Mahabaleshwar.

I didn't received his reply.

Nia didn't looked at me,she looked outside the window and she was crying again.

I gently pulled her towards me and said,"bacha now we are going right,your granny will be fine. Need not worry.''

I wiped her face with my handkerchief.

She said,"sir, she looked after me,she took care of me when dad and mom used to be busy at their respective works.She is my everything sir.''

''Nia she will be fine.''I said.

She looked at me and said,''I can't suffer her loss.''

''Nia,she will be fine,relax yourself.''I said.

I didn't came to know when she slept on my shoulder, holding my arms tightly.

For the first time I saw so much pain in Nia's eyes.

I gently stroked her hairs and kissed on her temple.

My phone rang which disturbed her and broke her sleep.

It was Rohit he corncernedly asked about Nia.

I said,''she is with me.''

Nia seeing our closeness,left my arm and shifted towards her extreme right and looked outside the window and started weeping again.

I told him everything and hanged up the call.

Nia's phone was ringing it was with me,I picked it up instantly and said,''hello Vikram.''

He replied," Hii,sir is she fine,I know she is not.''

I just said,''I'm trying my level best.''

''Sir, thank you so much.I will never forget what you have done for us today,thank you for not letting Nia come alone.''Vikram replied.

''It's ok Vikram you take care of granny.''I said.

Vikram hanged up the call so did I and returned phone to Nia.

''love,is all about supporting your partner in their difficult times.''
