{Nimish's POV}

"Nia was looking outside the window,while I took out my laptop and started doing my work.

Today my chirpy bird's silence was killing me.

 And that's when the driver said,"sir,I need to go to restroom.

I said,''ok.''

I checked my phone we were at Pune.

He parked his car at food court.

I said," Nia"

But she didn't responded back as she was into her own train of thoughts. 

And I didn't wanted to disturb her,so I didn't approached her more and got down.

I went to restroom,I saw cafeteria and  headed towards it and ordered black coffee for me and white coffee for Nia.

I again received Vikram's call asking us our whereabouts.

I informed him that,''we were at Pune food court.''

He once again asked about Nia whether she was fine or not? 

I answered him,"need not worry,I'm with her."

He thanked me again.And hanged up the call.

I reached the parking area and asked Nia,to drink coffee but she refused it.

I sat in the car,kept my hands on her shoulder and she faced me,her eyes were already red and  swelled up.

"Nia,you have not eaten anything,you need to drink this." 

She said,"No sir,I'm not feeling hungry."And once again she started looking out.

"Nia,I forgot to tell you something."

She instantly looked at me and asked,"what sir?"

"Vikram just called me,and told daddii(gtranny) is stable now."

I further added,"Nia,baby please have it,I cannot see you in this condition.''

 She gave a side hug to me and said,''thanks for everything."

"Bacha(child) have it.''I said sternly but again she shook her head.

I looked at her angrily,my gaze was just enough to convince Nia,she instantly took coffee from my hand and started drinking it.

The driver arrived and we started our silent journey again.

She looked outside and I  started my work.

Though I was working on laptop but still corner of my eyes were fixed on Nia.

She took out her phone and called Vikram asking about her Granny.

Finally after 6-7 long hours journey,a slight smile appeared on her face.

She turned towards me,hold my right arm, squeezed it and said,"sir granny is fine now and by morning,she will be getting shifted to general ward.''

"Oh! Wow that's great news."I said.

''Yes Indeed."She said and asked,"when we are going to reach Mumbai."

I took out the phone and checked it," Nia,within 25 minutes."

She nodded and once again she looked outside.

We were 15 minutes away from hospital.

 Nia called Vikram and asked him to come outside of hospital.

We reached the hospital, I saw Vikram,was already waiting for us.

Nia,got down and immediately hugged Vikram,tears once again started gushing down from her eyes.

"Nia,she is fine now relax!!''Vikram said.

I paid the expense and driver took out our bags from trunk.

Vikram instructed the driver to keep bags in his car.

Vikram greeted me and said,''thanks for bringing her here otherwise she would have come alone,she is very stubborn and sensitive in case of daddii.''(granny)

I kept hands on his shoulder.

He said ,"sorry"

Raising my eyebrows,I asked ,''sorry for what?"

"Sorry, the way I behaved with you in party."

I kept my hand on his shoulder and said,"relax,just take care of her."

We went inside the hospital.

Nia's parents were there,Rajveer Chauhan was also present there.

As soon as he saw me,he came forward and thanked me.

He introduced me to Nia's Dad,her dad caressed my hair and folded his hands and said,"god bless you son! Thanks for bringing her safe and sound."

Nia's dad immense love,made me speechless.

Nia's mother came forward with water and gave it to me.

Nia's mother said,''thanks for handling my stubborn daughter properly."

I shook my head and said,''it's not like that aunty.''

She further added,''Beta(son)!I know her,she is like a fragile kid who needs lots of pampering.And thank you for tolerating her.''

The word''Beta''reminded me of my late mother.

A lone tear rolled down my cheeks.

I cleaned it up immediately with my palm,but Nia's mother noticed it and questioned,''what happen son?''

I shook my head.

She once again said,''come on son tell me''

When you said,'' 'beta', it reminded me of my late mother.''I said.

She instantly hugged me and said,''you are my son too.''

I said,''Thanks aunty.''

She said,''from now on no aunty,you call me''Ma,just like Nia and Vikram calls me.''

I again said,''thank you aunty.''

She interuppted and said,''Nimish I'm your Ma from right now,so no aunty only Ma.''

''yes Ma.''she hugged,caressed my hair and kissed my forehead and said,''god always bless you beta with everything you want.''

''Thanks Ma,for your blessing.''I replied.

Nia's father came and said,'' beta! You must be tired too.Go to your home and take rest."

I said,'' I'm fine."

He said sternly,"No! Beta! You are professor in your college not here,you have to listen to me.''

He called out Vikram and said drop Nimish."

Vikram nodded.

Nia's father didn't stopped here and called Nia and said,'' go home beta! take some rest and come in the morning.''

Nia nodded in no.

 Nia's father said,"Ok Nia,bache listen,you go and fresh yourself and then come here."

"Ok dad as you wish."she said.

Vikram sat on driver's seat,while I sat on passenger's seat and Nia sat backwards.

Vikram and I were talking in general.

 And that's when I saw Nia through front rear view mirror,she was sleeping peacefully,she looked like an angel or I would say she was my sleeping beauty.

Vikram stopped the car in front of my house,he go down,took out my bags and once again thanked me.

I looked back but she was sleeping.

Vikram said," sir wait,I will wake her up."

 I said,''no,let her sleep,she was very tensed yesterday."

"I'll leave''I said.

And we shook our hands,he went back to car and drove.
