I got up,switched off my alarm clock and quickly sauntered to the washroom.

"Nia,I will drop you to the college." Vikram said. 

"Ok" I replied loudly from bathroom. I quickly got ready, and one last time I checked myself in the mirror. 

''Perfect Ms Nia,let's go",I took my bag and we headed towards car.

The car stopped suddenly in the middle of road,Vikram checked it.

He kicked the front Tyre of car,''Nia it's punctured,it will take time to repair,and  I think you should leave for college.'' 

I nodded in yes...''I will leave''and therefore I waved him bye.... 

I took an auto to college. 

I noticed my watch and said to auto driver,''Uncle can you please drive fast.''

To which he replied,''auto hai hawai jahaj nahi (it's an auto not an aeroplane)

I replied,''Uncle please.''

Finally I sighed,when I reached the college.

The first lecture was of Economics.I quickly gave change to an auto rickshaw driver and ran towards college gate.

 I thanked god as the gatekeeper didn't closed the gate and I was able to go inside.

On my way I messaged Sammy"Has professor Nimish arrived?"

 "Not yet" she replied. And I saw Nimish sir,walking towards staff room.

I wanted...to catch him...but he was too ahead of me. He entered the classroom.

 I sauntered towards classroom and asked for permission,"Sir,may I come in."

He strictly said,"No,You can't you are 10 minutes late....."

I said,"Sorry sir." 

I  turned back and that's when I heard,"Hey nia wait,lets go to the canteen."Ravish called out loudly.

I signal-led him to keep quite but in no time  Professor Nimish came out of classroom and scolded Ravish for shouting in the corridor.

Professor Nimish-:"Don't you have class to attend?" 

Ravish-"No sir, actually lecture got cancelled."

 Professor Nimish-: ''So it means you will disturb the whole college.'' 

Ravish-:''Sorry sir.''

 I was standing there silently listening to their conversation.

''Sorry sir this will not happen again.'' Ravish said. He further added,''Nia let's go to the canteen.''

 I shockingly looked at Ravish and Nimish sir.

''Such  shameless creature.'' Nimish sir said.

''No,she will not go anywhere,she has lecture to attend.''Nimish sir said sternly.       

Nimish sir-:''Come inside Nia,and next time you are late,I will not allow you to attend the class.And today you will not get any attendance in my class.This is the last warning.'' 

Nia-:''Sorry sir,ok sir.''

I quickly went to my seat,took my book out without looking at him.

I started writing,he was dictating notes on different types of market in the economy,and that's when Sammy whispered,'' what an opportunity damn!! you missed you had got to bunk this lecture ahh Nia...''

''I know,I missed it,but it's ok.'' I said.

He looked at me furiously and said ''Ms Nia Sharma,keep quiet,you are disturbing the whole class.''

''Sorry sir.'' I replied and started writing the notes.

The bell rang.But one last time I wanted to look at him but he quickly went away and we headed  towards canteen,ordered Manchurian Noodle,after having it ,we went to our classroom as the next lecture was of my favorite Financial Management,and I enjoyed it,as I could answer most of the questions.

Nimish's POV                                                           

Today I woke up at 4:00 am as I had an urgent meeting with Canadian client Mr Samuel Brown,who wanted to invest in Rural India,and he is looking for a tie up.     

The meeting lasted for 5 hours, as I was already late,I skipped my workout,got ready and quickly grabbed an apple and ate.              

On my way back to college I saw Nia,standing beside the car. I told driver to stop the car,as I wanted to give her a lift.    

But when I saw Nia hugging Vikram,it made me angry how can she hug her in the middle of road.Yesterday also she loudly called out his name in the parking area and embraced him. And this happens again. 

I gritter ed my teeth,clenched my fist to control my anger and instructed driver to drive. I saw Nia getting out of an auto rickshaw,I ignored it and headed towards staff room because I was late too.                                           

My first lecture was with SY BMS class,I took out economics book out and went to the classroom.I noticed her seat which was still empty.I looked at my watch and was about to start the lecture.

And that's when I heard her voice. Flashbacks started revolving into my mind so I stopped her from getting inside.            

 She just said,"Sorry." And was about to move. I wanted to stop her but I  didn't. I wanted her to realize her mistake.   

 I heard  Ravish calling her name, and I became more angry now on her how can someone call out her name so loudly? 

I scolded Ravish for this. He apologized and again in front of me he asked,'' Nia can we head towards canteen.''

I was stunned and looked at Nia's face.I just loved her reaction her raised eyebrows,wide opened mouth.she didn't utter a word. I told Ravish,'' Nia has lecture to attend so she cannot come with you.You can go ahead if you want.''

He went away from there.

I again called out,''Nia to come inside,and warned her that I will not give her attendance for this lecture.'' 

She just said "ok"I further added that,'' if she was late she will not be allowed to attend any lecture of me henceforth.

She apologized and went to her seat.            

Today there was no hide and seek game of our eyes may be she is in relationship with Vikram or whatever but today I felt like she ignored me.

And after the lecture I went away from there.

I received an urgent message from My manager as there was an unexpected meeting with U.S delegates so I cancelled the lectures after taking permission from the Vice-Principal.

I drove to the office and yes finally I cracked the deal.But still I'm  not happy may be because of  Nia's ignorance. I cannot lose her............
