As the car gets parked in the porch he could not help but rushed his Steps towards his wing to meet his wife nodding their greetings he moved directly to his wing informing bakhtu to not inform anyone about his arrival he wanted to talk first to his wife than anyone else . She seems so distressed yesterday night is hell for him thinking the reason behind her stress and pale face he wondered what happened suddenly in some days when he had been in contact with his uncle to let him know about all house events happening they had been In a discussion regarding how the minister is asking to meet him for upcoming elections and support even the he asked about his wife if she is okay or not but when he informed all regular things are going on he sighed suddenly what happened
He open the gate and puts his coat on the chair listening the jiggling sound of anklets he moved towards their lawn where she is busy in her gardening in the scorch heat she is good he smile seeing her okay he gently called her name

" meerab .." He called her softly and listening his voice she turns abruptly shock return on her face but as she sees him she rush toward him and engulfed him in a bone crushing hug she is looking too small in his hold as she places her head on his chest and he caress her hairs this is what peace is Called and they are feeling it exact after 2 week and 2 days  preciously. 

" you came back , I missed you..." she whispered softly sniffing his scent to make her believe that he is here in reality not in just imagination.

" shh I am here ., Tum yahan kar rahi hoon dhoop main you are not feeling good yesterday.." He asked her while gently holding her from shoulder to check her body temperature whether she is okay or not

" I am planting a tree , humare lawn main gulab ka ye wala ped nhi tha.., it's so beautiful murtasim I liked it smell .." she said with her beautiful smile making him relax from his agony and he caress her head

" I am okay sorry for disturbing you., par tum jaldi aagaye ..I am so happy .." she said smilingly sheepishly she is herself looking like a bloom flower in a light pink chikankari suit and she likes those flowers he laughed on the irony and places a kiss on her cheek

" but I don't miss you at all , vo to mai isliye aaya taaki mera bed tum kabza naa loo.." He teased her playfully while bitting his lips as her expression and she whack him

" insaan bano tum ..,jhoothe Tum bhi mujhe yaad kar rahe the ..hmm." she scrunched her nose in annoyance and turned back while folding her hands on her chest but he hugged her from back and feeling his hot breathe near her collarbone her breathe hitched and she clutch her dupatta tightly

" I missed you a lot Mrs. Khan , itna ki tum soch bhi nhi sakti..." while saying this he placed a kiss near her earlobe and she sucked a breathe turning around she told him to freshen up and then they will do lunch together as today maa begum had gone to their one of relatives as she had organized some party for them and Anwar had gone to village to check on some issue .

After freshing up they both gets seated on the dining table and he gets surprised when he sees only nalli nihari on table with his favorite sweet dish kheer meerab had told them specially to make all murtasim favorite things Today as she had expected him to come to lunch only. She smiled and served him in his plate

" kuch aur nhi bana you don't like any of this meerab .." He asked surprisingly she don't eat too much sweets and never been a fan off nihari too even in these months he noticed how when this dish had been made she always used to make another dish for her rather eating it on any cost

" I dont know murtasim , mera aaj kheer khaane ka man kar raha hai and this nihari is looking good to me now my taste buds are dead seriously..." she pouted as she served herself too and he laughed not pondering on this fact much.
They had their lunch while talking about their days how their workload is going on .

Murtasim had gone to rest for sometime as he had not closed his eyes for a bit from yesterday first workload to come back to her soon and then the call of her took a toll on him and she too left as some ladies had came for some issues in evening when meerab came in room ,she sees him sipping his tea while checking his file and his amused expression make her frown

" aisa kya padh rahe hoon , jo itna shock ho gaye .."

" ye files , meerab these opinions are so good but you don't need to do it you had already enough on your plate why are you taking extra burden..." He said softly and feeling all of sudden new emotions that she had thought about his work and had helped him too much by studying them

She took the hold of his hands " you are overloading yourself office work ye jammidari factory work .., please let me help you a little aur kuch jyaada bbi nhi karna pada practical ho gaya mera I know after this achi lawyer banugi..." she laughed but he couldn't help but feel emotional how in these all years of his life somebody had actually thought of her in reality otherwise all used to have places responsibilities on him without asking whether he is ready or not but her care and her actions made him believe somebody is there for him too in this world who cared for him enough to let him feel home his meerab is there for him as he is there for her

" meri meerab ..." He whispered as he kissed her forehead and hugged her tightly she caress his back feeling his emotions but suddenly feels urged in her to vomit pushing him she rushed to washroom but feeling him holding her Hairs while patting her back she hold the basin tightly after puking her guts out she washed her face and use mouth freshener feeling weak on her knees she leaned on his shoulder , taking her in his arms he puts her gently on bed and called househelp to bring a lemonade soon
" hey are you okay , kya Hua achanak you are looking too pale .." He asked while patting her head as she hold His hand

" I don't know kuch din de ajeeb sa lagta hai and I just feel like vomit after my meals..., it's getting overboard now I am not able to handle it now ..." she shed some tears and he gets tensed

" relax.., relax main yahi hoon abhi doctor ke pass chalte hai ..hmm.." He said gently as he placed her head on her lap while she snuggled more in his stomach as he caress his back feeling a knock on the door he took the tray from the maid and locked it making her drink it slowly he wiped her face and called the female doctor who mostly often comes to visit for the checkup of the ladies of the house he informed her about his visit with his wife. 

Carrying her shawl with her she gets seated with him who is driving the car and they paid their visit to the city hospital seeking his presence the staff immediately escorted him to the doctor's cabin but she is too paled and exhausted to gush over these facts . Quietly following him she is asked for the blood tests as she inform about her changing behaviour in her body as nurse took hold of her arm she looks towards him cutely pouting she shook her head in denial while he is holding her chadar in his hands while other one is holding her other arm he smiled
" don't worry it will not hurt,  I am here .." He told her softly like a child but she is too stubborn to do it so taking her hands he started to caress it diverting her mind from it and sneakily he urged nurse to take her blood sample while she gets lost in his hands feelings but when she suddenly feels a Little bit of pain like ant bitting she glared at the needle and then her husband as nurse shook her head at her

" you are mean .." As she whack him while standing up for more tests going behind nurse.
" I know ..." He laughed and shook his  head at her childishness. His wife is literally a baby in a body of 25 years woman . How he is going to handle her . While she had gone for the remaining test he had seated with doctor in her Cabin

" khaan sahab inn symptoms pe to aapko andaza ho jana chahiye tha ki meerab ko Hua kya hai ..." the middle aged woman smiled politely to him as he had seated with his one leg on other one and his hands folded on his chest

" mai samjha nhi hai , meerab ko Hua kya hai , I hope kuch serious baat nhi hai .." He said sternly feeling scared from inside if something is big which he ignored for her but she seems ok

" ji abhi test ke results se vaise confirm ho jayega lekin symptoms kehte hai she may be pregnant..." the doctor excused herself as she gets a emergency in the ward and had to rush there his mind gets blank listening her and face paled no this is the last thing he will want it now , she is not going to take this lightly though they had been doing good in their relationship but still something is missing and if what he is thinking is right then the things are really messed up for sure he rubs his palms on his face and took a deep breathe as he listens her arrival taking a deep breathe he managed to give her a small smile

" aree tumhara mooh kyu utra Hua,  test to mere ho rahe hai uff murtasim mujhe naa aana hi nhi chahiye tha this smell is making me feel sick ..." she scrunched her nose and poutly rubbed her arm

Murtasim looked over face intensely and finds out a new glow on her face ohh God How did he missed that, her continous nausea and vomiting her changing of tests the result is good but the timing is wrong she is not ready heck he didn't able to make her fully normal now and this sudden news her reaction will not be good she have to still come to the terms of that night and this will be a big blown to her. They asked to wait for sometime till the result came and meerab goes to washroom for freshing up taking a stoll in corridor he tries to absorb this situation may be this all are just false alarm may be she will not be pregnant. But if she did what if she wants to abort it his heart sank at the possibility of his child being taken away from which he didn't even met his thoughts halted as meerab came and inform that doctor had told them to come to her cabin.

" my doubts are true khan sahab meerab congratulations you are pregnant ., we should take an ultrasound test to know about the actual growth and other things please move towards the the next room .." she said while leaving the couple in silence meerab is silent and he could not understand what to feel happy that he is going to become a father or fear about her reaction taking a hold of her hand who is too shocked to react he led her to the table and they did able to see the actual photage in the screen which she pointed out he feels emotional suddenly realizing how they had created a life which is resting in her mother's womb chuckling at the pointed black dot he feels a sudden protection feeling in him towards his or her but his eyes stopped on her whose eye is stuck there on the screen but suddenly a tear left and her hold on his hand tighten he didn't able to understand what she is feeling but as he vowed beforeto respect her choice always he wiped his tear with other hand and hold her hands in his and assured her taking her hand in both of his hands he assured her his presence beside her in every situation.
As doctor prescribed medicine for her nausea and vomiting she told about her vitamins and upcoming checkups  which he listened carefully to each word as she is too lost to notice anything thanking the doctor they left her cabin

Clearing his throat as he made her sit in car and made her wear seat belt gently her silence is though bothering him but he knows sheneeds to cope up with this big news and he drove slowly to the Dam area where he mostly used to visit when he feels exhausted from all his work as he pulled her outside softly he hold her face gently

" meerab .." As she listens her name being called out and his touch made her look in his eyes and it's feel blank scaring him to death

" baby ...mur..tasim...our baby " she asked absently
