(Y/N's POV)

I'm standing with my new friends (if I can even call them that) and I am just now meeting someone who is shy and kinda jumpy. He has blond hair, thick brown and black glasses, and a shirt that says "It's a book thing" with a pile of books.

"Yeah, we have been friends for a while. Mikasa and I are brother and sister, and Armin is our best friend," Eren told me. Ive know these people for 1 hour and I feel like I have known them my whole life.

"Woah, you and Mikasa are siblings? Why don't you look alike?" I asked. I wish I didn't, I think I hurt Mikasa and Eren with this question.

"My parents were murdered right in front of me. Eren was there to save me, or else I would be a hooker right now." Mikasa had a look of thankfulness and sorrow in her eyes.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry... But thank you for telling me." This is a reason for my anxiety...

"Its fine. It happened about 10 years ago. That's when I met Eren. His mother and father took me in after he found me." She told me this with all one expression on her face. I didn't want to ask what happened, so I moved on because I think I already caused enough pain for today to my new friends.

"So are you all sharing an apartment?"

"Yeah, we got a good deal on a 4 bedroom and bathroom one. And its in the same building as you, right?" Armin's voice is so gentle and soft, I almost couldn't hear him.

"I am! I never thought I'd make friends honestly. When are you guys moving in?"

"In like 2 hours. You?" I thought they knew, but I guess not.

"I can leave now if I wanted, but we still have packing to do and I want to go with my mom. But I will totally see you guys there!" I was happy about this, which was wired. I wasn't exactly a person to make friends, and yet, I made 3 in an hour!!!

"Alrighty! We should probably get going, so we will see you there! And you have our numbers, so text us!!!" Mikasa had a change of expressions from straight face to smiling the biggest smile I have ever seen.

I wave as the drive away and walk back home. I think about all of the things we talked about, and it struck me that this building is not that big, and I might make more friends!! I wonder if I'll know anyone else there?

Texting with Eren

Me: hey

Eren: hey (y/n) what's up?

Me: nothin. You at the apartment yet?

Eren: yeah. When you comin? There are some cool people here

Me: I think I'm coming tomorrow. I am not sure. Its really up to my mom

Eren: ok lol ill see you there, ttyl

Me: k ttyl

After I turn off my phone, it's already late, so I go to sleep. Tomorrow is another day with more friends and maybe a new home. I never know who I can meet at this rate!!
