CHAPTER FOUR

"Don't hurt him", Jungkook begged as he got pushed back until he stumbled downstairs and got the door slammed to his face. Taehyung stayed with the kid and looked at him with big eyes, "You seriously stole my keys", he hummed before he took the kid into his arms and walked away from the door, sitting him down on the couch next to him. "Bet your Dad thinks I'll kill you or something", the boy giggled amused and then ruffled the child's hair.

"I'm sowwy", Taejeon stuttered, "I want to go outside", the little boy pouted as he looked up at Taehyung with big doey eyes, "That is why I stole keys."

Taehyung nodded slowly, "You know that stealing is a bad thing to do, right?"
"You stole me and Dad too", Taejeon shrugged.

"I didn't steal you", Taehyung sighed heavily, "I saved your life."
"Saving a life is not locking people in the basement", the kid rolled his eyes, "Also you're not a bad man why do you try to be then-"

"Taejeon", Taehyung rolled his eyes, "I'm not trying to be a bad man, I literally kidnapped you two-"
"Yet I do bad thing and you are nice to me."
"I could easily kill you right now, I just don't want to", Taehyung grumbled.

"Wrong", Taejeon giggled, punching the older with his small baby fists, "You can't because you like kids!"

"I can unlike them really quick tho-"
"I think you should like my Dad too and not lock him in the basement", Taejeon stated, fully unimpressed by anything Taehyung said. The tiny boy knew exactly that he was superior to the older because he had his cute face and Taehyung was weak for that.

It's not that Taehyung didn't kill before. Actually he did plenty of times. But he never killed someone innocent and what's more innocent than a small kid with puppy eyes? It's not that he was a good person, he just always wanted to raise a kid and having a girlfriend like Lyza made this dream basically impossible since they would not ever be able to have a proper family together.

"Your Dad would escape or do some other shit", Taehyung hummed, "I can't let this happen."
"Where would he go", Taejeon only said quietly, "You don't know my Dad, so you can't say that."

"I know for sure that he'd try to escape from me-"
"We have no place to go", Taejeon only said sharply, sounding way too serious for a kid. "But if you treat Dad bad then I will escape and hurt you."

"You're literally five, calm down", Taehyung scoffed as he got up and walked over to the front door, locking it carefully before he put the keys into his pockets and walked to the door which lead to the basement and opened it up.
"Fine", Taehyung pouted, "Jungfuck, come upstairs."

It took the boy exactly three seconds until he came running upstairs, eyes wide and searching for his kid immediately as soon as he got used to the light that was up here.
Taejeon however still sat on the couch, unbothered by anything while biting his nails and watching Taehyung being frustrated.

"Are you okay??", Jungkook asked, rushing over to the kid as he hugged him tightly, "Did he hurt you??"
The kid shook his head and bopped his father's nose softly with his finger, "No silly", he gave his worried Dad a kiss to his cheeks and then turned his head to Taehyung who just stood there, arms crossed as he watched the whole scene.

"So you didn't punish my kid for stealing your keys?", Jungkook asked, getting back up again, walking over to the older. They locked eyes with each other, almost like at a staring contest. "Why would I?", Taehyung grinned. "I'll make him my assistant one day when it comes to robbery."

"You won't turn my son into a criminal", Jungkook snapped, eyebrows furrowed.
"Watch me", Taehyung winked, grabbing the younger by his wrists. "Just like you'll be my little bitch who does the dirty work~"

"Keep on dreaming", Kook rolled his eyes, "I'm not doing shit for you."
"We'll see about that", Taehyung hummed, voice deep which gave Jungkook chills all over his back. Then he felt a push to the left which made him stumble into the kitchen.
"I thought about something. What if you'll be my housewife for a little? Y'know, doing my dishes, cooking me food and sucking my dick once I come home from work?"

"What is a dick", Taejeon blurted out. "Is it another word for peepee?"

"Shut up, kid", Taehyung grumbled, side eyeing the kid.
"Okay sorry", Taejeon shrugged and then went back to biting his nails.

Jungkook was lowkey blushing once Taehyung looked back at him, "What are you blushing at-", Tae asked confused.
"S-sucking your dick???"
"Yeah?", Taehyung looked at him, still confused. "I can't let my girlfriend come over as long as I have you two around so I need a replacement."

"You would literally cheat on your girlfriend with someone you kidnapped-"
"Our relationship isn't official nor exclusive", Taehyung snapped. "Don't feel too special, you're literally just being used to suck me off, not to cuddle and shit."

Jungkook flinched a little, "I am not gay though-"
"Is that any of my business?", Taehyung chuckled and then pushed the boy in front of the kitchen counter, "How about you show off your cooking skills a little for now? I'm hungry and so is my little boy", he said and pointed towards Taejeon, "He's already eating his nails, see-"

"He's not your little boy", Jungkook grumbled under his breath, feeling offended by the older. "He is my son, not yours."

"Didn't your parents teach you to share?"
"He's my kid, fuck off", Jungkook groaned and then grabbed a pot and filled it with water. He'd cook the older some noodles.

"Quite possessive, huh? Cute", Taehyung shrugged before he walked around the kitchen counter and smacked Jungkook's ass lightly, "You look good in a kitchen", he whispered into the younger's ear before he handed him a package with noodles and some ingredients to make a soup out of them. "Here you go, honey."

Jungkook couldn't help but get flustered at all that, his whole body was extremely sensitive to touch and Taehyung talking like that and touching his ass, it made him uncomfortable but at the same time it was so inappropriate that Jungkook lowkey thought of it as a turn on.
".. the fuck am I thinking.. ", he hummed to himself as he heated up the water before putting the noodles in.

"Huh, what? What are you thinking?", Taehyung asked quietly.
"Nothing", Kook flushed red as he brushed off the topic and focused back on his work.

"Taejeon how about you tell me something about you two", Taehyung suddenly said, voice softening immediately. He walked over to the kid and sat down next to him. The kid nodded and crawled onto the older's lap, "Yes! One time Dad and I went to Disneyland and we got locked there at night. It was so fun and creepy, then someone died."

"What the fuck", Tae let out, looking at the younger confused.
"Yeah crazy", Taejeon nodded, giggling over it.

"He's lying", Jungkook hummed from across the room, "He always tells that story to scare people off-"

"Oh why are you doing such a thing", Taehyung chuckled, "You don't like socializing?"

Taejeon crossed his arms and looked at the older piercingly, "I don't tell things about myself to strangers. Especially not if I think they want to know to hurt us."
Then he got off the older's lap and jumped down from the couch, rushing over to Jungkook as he hugged his leg and not moved a step away from his Dad from now on.

"I was genuinely asking", Taehyung let out a sigh. "But go off, I guess."
With that Taehyung got up and walked into his bedroom, slamming the door shut.

"Is he mad now?", Taejeon asked his Dad with big eyes.
"Probably", Jungkook hummed, fully unimpressed. "It's funny he does the same thing your Mom did before we broke up", the boy smiled sadly, eyes glittering with tears just from thinking back.

"Slamming doors?"
"Exactly.."

"I miss Mom", Taejeon whispered, "I wish you would have never broke up with Mom, Daddy", he pouted sadly, clinging a little harder on his father's leg.
"I didn't have a choice, Taejeonie", Kook brushed through his son's hair softly as he leaned down to grab him and sit him down on the kitchen counter. "If it was on me, I would have never let Lyza go."

"Do you still love Mom?"
"I never stopped loving her", Jungkook hummed, smiling at his son softly. "But some things just aren't mean to be, y'know. It was for the best."

"It's never for the best when two people love each other and have to be apart", Taejeon said slowly.

"If it keeps both of them alive, it is."

"Lyzzie", Jimin's soft voice made her look up from her plate. She sat at the dinner table with Jimin this night, eating leftover from the night before. "What's on your mind? You seem off, Baby."
She looked at her boyfriend, lips pressed onto each other while thinking hardly what to say. She couldn't fuck this up so she had to be careful with what she chose to say.
"Look", she started slowly, "I am worried over Taehyung. Have you seen him in the past few days?"

"No, this fucker disappeared after he fucked up his job. I didn't find the dead bodies I wanted to find and he just ran off."
"Maybe you shouldn't be too mad at him", Lyza whispered.

"This job was incredibly important, Lyza."
"You mentioned dead bodies. Plural. How many?"

"Two", Jimin groaned. "You can't trust a single person lately, everyone fucks up their tasks. Yoongi also messed up robbing a store because he rather made out with his stupid ass boyfriend in front of it."

Lyza lifted one eyebrow, "Look. I might be away for a bit soon, I thought I'd start looking for my kid out of this city as well", she switched the topic because diving into Yoongi's private life wasn't any of her interests.
"Are you okay with that?"

"No", Jimin blurted out. "You can't go out and look for your kid. I need you here."
"What for?"
"Just.. Because I say so."
"Then let me actually be a part of your work. Tell me who Taehyung was supposed to kill, maybe I can help finding them."

"Lyza", Jimin sighed, "A girl like you should not be brought into dirty work."
"I killed before", Lyza whispered, "I'm not that innocent."

"Still", Jimin kept brushing her off.
"Why won't you tell me the names?"
"Because they're dangerous."
"How comes? Then it's even more important for me to know who it is so I can take action if I meet them. Apparently they're on the run now after Taehyung let them go."

Something wasn't right.
Taehyung talked about one person, Jimin about two yet he didn't mention names.
As if Lyza wasn't supposed to know shit about all that.

"Stop asking questions", Jimin suddenly snapped, "You're my girlfriend, not one of my workers."
"What if I want to be one of them?"
"Sorry but you're not exactly the kind of person I want to run around, killing people and robbing people."

"Why is that?"
"You're a girl."

Lyza nodded slowly, "And that's enough to tell that I'm not good at killing?"
"I didn't mean it like that-"

"Oh you did", Lyza grumbled. "You did and I'm sick of you telling me off just because you disrespect women. We're not in the 19th century, alright?"

Jimin cursed something under his breath, got up and slammed his fist on the table, "Lyza I'll say it once and never again. Stay out of my business or I'll make sure you'll never find your fucking kid."
And with that the boy left the table and rushed out of their apartment, slamming the door shut and leaving Lyza behind-, all confused.

What had Jimin to do with her kid after all?
