"I'd like to propose a toast: To (Your Name), thanks to you and your skills, another bad guy is behind bars where they belong. Keep up the good work kid, cheers!" (Your Name)'s boss exclaims

"CHEERS!" Her co-workers shout

(Your Name) works for the government in a top secret division that only a few had any knowledge existed. When there were difficulties trying to crack hidden codes, break through difficult fire walls, and gain access to others sealed off information; (Your Name) was the one they called. She was a legal hacker. The gifted young woman was never allowed to tell people what she did for a living. Mainly because people would more than likely take advantage of her abilities and use them for all the wrong reasons.

Quietly sipping away at her drink, (Your Name) enjoyed the small private party her partner's from her division threw. Looking around the bar, (Your Name)'s (Eye Color) eyes land on her tipsy companions. They became a second family away from home to her. Of course they could never take the place of her first family that consisted of her loving parents and adoring younger sister that were always there for her.

In need of some air, (Your Name) steps outside onto the balcony of the bar. Looking into the sky, the quiet beauty admires the endless starry sky of Hoshigakure. Hearing the sliding door open and close, (Your Name) turns to see none other than her closest friend, Aki. The two had worked together ever since (Your Name) first arrived to the division. Aki had taken her under his wing, and taught her everything he knew; ins and outs, short cuts and many more tricks. Aki stood six feet tall, had light teal colored eyes, tanned skin and shoulder length black hair. Moving to stand beside (Your Name), Aki stares into the sky.

"Tired already?" Aki chuckles as he leans his back against the rail on the balcony. Leaning her arms on the rail, (Your Name) lightly grins.

"You know I'm not much of a partier." (Your Name) lightly laughs as she sips her drink

"The weather is beautiful tonight." Feeling the wind caress his raven locks, Aki contently closes his eyes. (Your Name) silently nods in agreement.

"Yeah it is..." (Your Name) trails off

A small pause falls between the two.

"Hey Aki, do you think the stars are the same everywhere?" (Your Name) asks randomly

"They follow us everywhere we go like the moon does, so I guess?" Aki answers in an uncertain tone. Craning his neck around to look at the stars, Aki stares at them in wonder

"Do they? These are the stars we walk under every night going home. They're there offering us a silent sense of comfort when we're sad. They are part of the many small but beautiful things that we as human beings take for granted. The stars here shine so brightly, that they make stars everywhere else seem dim in comparison."

Raising an eyebrow, Aki glances in (Your Name)'s direction to see the young woman wearing a peaceful expression.

"That kind of sounds like favoritism to me." He points out

"Think about it, when you leave Hoshigakure and enter a new city; the stars shine but never as brightly as Hoshigakure's. Can you really say that you're looking at the same sky full of stars?" (Your Name) questions

Tearing her gaze away from the sky, (Your Name)'s (Eye Color) eyes lock with Aki's teal ones.

"Someone's feeling philosophical tonight. Something you wanna get off your chest partner?" Aki jokes. Placing her glass against her forehead, (Your Name) giggles

"Sorry, the alcohol must be getting to me, don't mind my babbling. Plus, it's well past my bed time, I should get going." The tired woman notes as she checks her watch

"Alright, I'll see you tomorrow morning."

"Good night."

After bidding the rest of her team a farewell, (Your Name) makes her way home. Flagging down a cab, (Your Name) gets in and tells the driver her address. Caught up in her thoughts, (Your Name) fails to notice Itachi and Kisame in an all black car following not too far behind. The young woman didn't even notice that the two males had been following her for the past few weeks. Parking at a safe distance away from (Your Name)'s home, the pair watch said woman enter her house. The males wait until the lights go out to make their move. 

 Itachi gives Kisame a single nod to set the plan in action. Nodding back, Kisame flashes his partner a mischievous grin as he pulls his phone out and calls Pein.

"We're ready on our end." Exiting the car, Itachi and Kisame make their way down the street, stopping just before the house

"Okay." Ending the call, Kisame turns back to see Itachi disarming the system of the house on his burner phone. Finished, Itachi looks to Kisame and motions for him to follow him.

The pair enter the back door of the home. They then split up to look for (Your Name)'s room. With neither having any luck the two meet up in the middle, bringing them both to the front entrance of the house. Moving to stand on the side of the stair case, Kisame takes an interest of all the pictures on the wall.

"Heh. Hey Itachi, come check out these pictures of her as a kid. She was pretty cute. She's not half bad looking now as an adult." Kisame comments

"Don't get side tracked, we have a job to do with possibly a little time to do it." Itachi reminds him as he moves to take the first step up on the stairway in front of him

"What are you talking about? You've disabled her security system haven't you? What else could we possibly have to worry about?" Kisame answers in a nonchalant manor

"Don't get complacent. I may have disarmed the main frame of her security system but for all that we know, she could've-" Cutting himself short, Itachi notices that Kisame has stepped on the thing he was just about to mention; a secret switch that would easily go unnoticed by an untrained eye.

After stepping on the switch, Kisame is then locked in place by the many red lasers  lights that appeared shortly after. The Uchiha male looks to see that the same lights that trapped Kisame in place are now blocking both exits of the home.

"It's just as I expected, she put in a back up security system in case her main one was tampered with in some way." Itachi speaks in a tensed voice. Kisame mentally scolds himself for making such a foolish mistake.

"What should I do?" Kisame questions irritably

"Try not to move, If any part of your body hits the laser light, it will set off a silent alarm that alerts the authorities. I must get her to completely disarm the entire security system if we stand any chance of getting out undetected." The raven haired male double checks to make sure there are no traps on the stairs. When he's certain there aren't, Itachi cautiously makes his way up the stairs.

"Great, I get stuck here waiting while he gets to have all the fun." Kisame states in a gloomy tone as he watches Itachi disappear up the stairs

Reaching the second floor, the ravenette carefully and quietly makes his way down the darkened hallway. Itachi had to admit, he was impressed with (Your Name). Being the genius that he is, he had a challenging time disarming her security system. The male was able to excel in anything he did/ After a while, tasks that seemed difficult to a regular person began to bore him because they were too easy. It had been a long time since Itachi had something test his abilities. To finally have something challenge him in such a way revived his long slumbering intrigue in anything. (Your Name)'s intelligence and abilities greatly peaked his curiosity. Itachi could see Pein's reasoning for recruiting her.

Warning Itachi of the storm to come, thunder rumbles loudly outside.

Reaching the door at the end of the hall, Itachi pushes the door open to reveal a sleeping (Your Name). Standing at the end of the bed, Itachi watches (Your Name)'s face as she sleeps peacefully. Feelingly slightly guilty, Itachi kicks the bed hard enough to startle the sleeping beauty awake.

Rubbing her eyes, (Your Name)'s now alert gaze meets Itachi's emotionless one. Feeling threatened, (Your Name) quickly grabs her gun from her bed side table and points it at Itachi.

As the thunder sounds off, lighting fills the room. For a brief moment, (Your Name) could swear that she seen Itachi's eyes turn a deep crimson. Sitting up, the unnerved young woman removes the safety from her gun.

"I wouldn't do that." Itachi speaks unfazed. Narrowing her (Eye Color) eyes, (Your Name) scoffs

"Why is that?" Remaining silent, Itachi stares at (Your Name). Irritated by the lack of a response, (Your Name) grits her teeth

"Need I remind you that you're trespassing, which means that I have all rights to shoot you. Now what do you want?" (Your Name) questions firmly

"An answer." Itachi states. A look of confusion crosses said girl's face.

Before (Your Name) was able to further question the mysterious male; her cell phone rings. Looking at the caller ID, (Your Name) sees it's a private number.

"You should answer that." Itachi points out. Looking at him skeptically, (Your Name) complies. Answering, (Your Name) puts the phone on speaker

"Hello?" (Your Name) answers uncertain

"Hello (Your Name), it's nice to finally speak with you." Pein replies

"Who are you?" (Your Name) asks, never once taking her eyes off of Itachi

"I am the leader of the Akatsuki. " Pein confidently states

(Your Name) nearly dropped her phone hearing the name. She and her division had never had any kind of run ins with the infamous group in the past, but they were very much aware of the Akatsuki's...activities. With such a dangerous organization in existence, the young woman often wondered why her division had not yet been assigned the task of dismantling it. There were so many possibilities that went through her head as to what the leader himself could of wanted.

"I take it you know who I am?" Pein questions

"I know exactly who you are, the only thing I'm confused about is what you want from me." (Your Name) remarks confidently "Let me take a stab in the dark and guess; I put away one of your men. Because of this, you're looking to exact your revenge by sending your own men to kill me?" 

"Actually, you did just put away one of my men. But he's no longer of any importance to me. He like many others are replaceable. But someone like you is hard to come by. Rest assured, they're not there to kill you." Pein clarifies "That would be a waste of your unrivaled technological skills. Speaking of them, they can be put to good use elsewhere, like my organization..."

"Are you out of your mind? I would never betray my team and I sure as hell would NEVER join your organization!" (Your Name) snaps

"You're answer is no?" Pein questions

"Of course my answer is no!" (Your Name) exclaims angrily. Expecting this, Pein chuckles.

"I figured you would give me push back. You leave me no choice." Seconds later, (Your Name)'s phone screen lights up with a video message from the private number

Opening the message, the video starts. Eyes widened in shock, a small gasp escapes (Your Name)'s parted lips. On the screen before her was someone recording her sleeping parents. The person filming her parents leaves the room and freely roams the halls of her childhood home.

(Your Name)'s heart skips a beat when the person stops in front of another door; her sister's. Opening the door, the person walks into the room and walks up to her sister's bedside. Completely unaware of the danger looming above her head, (Your Name)'s sister continues to sleep peacefully. Reaching out, the person lightly caresses the young girl's head. The young girl giggles in response.

"Oh Sa..." (Sister's Name) trails off happily. The video turns off shortly after, leaving (Your Name) a raw mess of nerves

"You have a such a lovely family (Your Name). Your sister even more beautiful in person. It would be a shame if something were to happen to her. It would be a true tragedy if something were to happen to both of your parents as well. You wouldn't want that, would you?" Feeling a fiery rage ignite within her, (Your Name) falls silent. Weighing her options, (Your Name) stares off into space.

She couldn't possibly refuse now, her family would suffer greatly for her refusal.The irate young woman knew that this was a fight that she couldn't win. She believed in fairness and justice, everything that the Akatsuki wasn't. With that said, a question surfaced in her mind that greatly shook her morals and beliefs:

"Could she really become a criminal and turn her back on everything she has ever known?"

Although it didn't show, Itachi did feel sympathetic toward (Your Name). If Pein had played the family card with him, he wouldn't have hesitated to kill him. He didn't play games when it came to his family. They meant everything to him, which is why he could understand how the aforementioned woman felt.

"We don't have all night (Your Name)." Pein darkly taunts. Coming back to reality, (Your Name) swallows her pride and lowers her gun

"Okay..." (Your Name) speaks above a whisper

"I'm glad we've reached an understanding."

"What do you want me to do?" The young woman asks in a resigned tone

"Pack your clothes and any other belongings you may need. Leave your cell phone behind, Itachi will give you a new one. A car will be sent to pick you up by midnight tomorrow. Be ready." (Your Name) is met by the sound of the phone hanging up. (Your Name) looks at Itachi.

"I have to go, I would appreciate if you completely disarm the security system so my partner and I can do so." Itachi speaks. Begrudgingly complying with his request, (Your Name) disarms her entire security system.

Before leaving, Itachi hands the bitter woman her new cell phone and quietly takes his leave along side a sulking Kisame.

Getting up, (Your Name) begins packing her things away in her suit case. Picking up a picture of her and her family, (Your Name) stares at it for a moment before packing it away. 

(Your Name) wipes away her free fallen tears as she picks up her badge and longingly stares at it. Feeling a pain shoot through her chest, (Your Name) sets the badge down by her old cell phone.

"I'm sorry.." She whispers

Accepting her changed fate, (Your Name) lays down and rolls onto her side to stare out of her window. The sleepless young woman allows her worries and concerns to run a muck through her mind as she watches the rain relentlessly fall from the sky.
