Episode 26: Reunited

*Starting Scene*

A barrage of shots soar towards Alpha from the Syndicate's fleet persisting their efforts, however, Virgil ensures that none of them strike his machine via receding towards the southern region. While doing that, the Mech leaves significant damage upon the space craft its perched on as the redhead calmly keeps track of the oncoming projectiles.

Eve's voice suddenly resounds from Virgil's microphone, containing a serious tone with a hint of exhaustion notable. "Me and Doyenne are trying to bail! Don't stop causing the Syndicate trouble! You're the only reason Whatley Greco isn't totally owning us!"

Virgil nods. "Alright, but it's tough restraining Alpha from destroying this ship. That's the level of power it has. Not to mention that the rest of the Syndicate are firing at us. So do your best to be fast in returning to Virago."

Eve exhibits annoyance while running through the hallway with Doyenne located towards her right. "What do you think we're doing?! As if we'd like to stick around here! We'll rendezvous with Gabriela and Fey! Then, we-"

Doyenne dully stares at Eve amidst cutting her off. "With what means? For once, did you not wreck a pod?"

Distress consumes Eve until issuing Doyenne a nervous smile with her eyes shut. "Of course I didn't! No way I'd let that happen if it's to rescue you!"

Doyenne's conduct doesn't alter whatsoever, skeptical of Eve's words.

Eve easily discerns Doyenne's lack of confidence and reverts her concentration to discussing with Virgil. "Anyhow, just give us a bit! You and your girlfriend can handle that much, right?!"

Doyenne unexpectedly falters to the right, resulting in her leaning against the wall via both hands touching it.

Eve's shocked as she desperately ceases her progression forward to go to Doyenne, slightly hoisting her arms towards her friend. "Are you okay, Doyenne?!"

Doyenne briefly watches the wall before sheepishly smirking at Eve through turning her head westward. "I'm fine. I guess I went overboard with the gem back there." The brunette diverts her sight to the right, narrowing her eyes a little, as she thinks, "Yes, that must be it. Nothing to do with Virgil and Anemone." Doyenne promptly detects Eve delivering a criticizing glare, forcing the pale dame to defensively ask, "What?!"

Eve shakes her head to rid herself of her suspicion prior to sternly looking at Doyenne again. "Nothing."

Doyenne nods, rapidly gathering her composure with her appendages removed from the wall so she could properly face Eve. "Let's resume in that case." The female immediately dashes ahead while Eve follows her closely.

Back at the other end of the line, Virgil registers that his conversation with Eve has concluded while shrugging and mutters, "Well, moving on." The Caucasian hurriedly keys onto the fact that Alpha isn't assaulting the huge craft anymore and shifts his gaze left to view Anemone with curiosity. Right after that, Virgil finds Anemone in a flustered condition, which is why she halted her manipulation of the Mech's attacks, as he demonstrates a cold expression while shouting with a hint of exasperation, "Anemone! Save the embarrassment of us being confused to be a couple for another time!"

Anemone's posture momentarily stiffens, surprised by Virgil's outburst, until switching the wing-based swords to their rifle state and points both at the vessel below Alpha.

Virgil sees the weapons' transformation, panic quickly presenting itself, before snapping his focus to Anemone again. "Wait!"

Anemone's unable to react to Virgil's plea, having already pressed the trigger of her controls for the rifles to release an incredible blast upon the middle of the ship. Thanks to the strength of the two tools of combat, a grand hole is etched into the Syndicate's main craft while causing its alloy to begin splitting apart.

Virgil swiftly has Alpha pull away from the enormous ship via jumping high above it, steering the machine around as the beam is aimed towards several shots that were on the verge of hitting Alpha's eastern side. Accomplishing that counter, the teenager temporarily observes the explosions born from the interaction and then shows a menacing demeanor while attentive of Anemone again. "Seriously? Did you miss the detail that we need to hold back? Despite..." Virgil glances towards the area in front of him. "Oh, I don't know..." He hastily instills his vision to Anemone while angrily yelling, "It recently getting mentioned!"

Shame engulfs Anemone a tad, having ceased the rifles' fire, while deviating her concentration towards the left. "Sorry... It was a reflex."

Virgil glares at Anemone. "That's a big reflex!" The young man abruptly views a plethora of shots advance from under Alpha, compliments of many ascending around the Mech. Immediately afterwards, Alpha eludes contact with the bombardment while Virgil witnesses one of the Syndicate's vessels poised at a substantial distance, not letting up its onslaught in the slightest.

Anemone instantly regains her bearings during her own depiction of the massive cruiser, and once Virgil has Alpha angled to fully confront the foe, directs both of its weapons onward while implementing a mighty assault.

That eventually leads to the blast ripping through the ship, provoking the birth of an explosion nearly severing the craft in half.

Anemone contentedly grins prior to resetting her gaze towards Virgil as a defensive attitude surfaces. "Look at that! If I wasn't fast in shooting, we were probably gonna' sustain a few hits!"

Virgil refrains from making eye contact with Anemone again, analyzing the vicinity, while solemnly retorting. "Undeniable, but we mustn't be complacent. Neither of us could live with accidentally killing our allies, friends even. Am I wrong?"

Anemone lowers her head and sighs out of depression before veering her focus to the right as Alpha steadily restores its positioning to the way it was previously. Following that, the Asian discerns a Syndicate cruiser rapidly flying towards Alpha, ultimately gasping in concern. "V!"

Virgil glimpses towards the threat as he thinks, "They're planning to ram us!" He then strives to commandeer Alpha upward again, comprehending that the oncoming vessel's velocity is too much to counter without creating a decent range between them.

Unfortunately, other Syndicate ships hinder Alpha's attempt of evasion through launching multiple cannon fire at it from different trajectories.

Anemone displays a bit of stress until hoisting Alpha's right arm towards the charging enemy while shooting the tool in its possession as a deterrent.

The Syndicate space craft's moderately pierced by the beam, although refuses to slow down and is seconds from colliding with Alpha. To its disappointment, the enormous cruiser randomly receives a tremendous impact at its right that pushes it off course sufficiently so the machine barely misses Alpha. This dumbfounds everybody watching the afflicted vessel prior to numerous shots pellet the same spot it was struck, soon breaking through its alloy while eruptions expel from it.

Virgil briefly gawks at the damage that the ship is obtaining as Alpha continues its climb, now having less resistance from the rest of the Syndicate targeting it due to them being distracted. Not long after, the male notices aqua-colored lights glimmering at the earlier threat, summoning a smile out of Virgil, before switching his attention forth one more time. At that exact moment, Virgil locks onto the Lt. Colonel's jet soaring there, going towards another Syndicate craft close by, while his eyes widen with surprise resonating.

*Scene Change*

Whatley struggles to rise to his feet, mostly because of the haphazard vibrations ailing his ship, while supporting Simone via his left hand and exhibits an agitated behavior. "Dang! All this shit is really ticking me off!"

Simone peers at Whatley, slanted eastward, and weakly utters, "Pops..."

Whatley firmly rebuttals with his sight towards the exit, gaining a decent sum of balance to enter a crouched stance. "I know. Ya' tired. Just do ya' best to sit still. Take a small snooze if ya' gotta'. I'll pinpoint my power on those freaking dames." The adult shut his eyes thanks to a sudden shaking of his craft and unleashes his annoyance again upon applying his vision towards his subordinates. "As soon as somebody does something about that Mech! Be it calculated or inadvertent, these quakes are screwing with me!"

The Syndicate personnel scramble to appease Whatley, despite the level of difficulty of their mobility for the same reason as the Mafioso.

During that, persisting their presence within the hall, Doyenne and Eve are sprawled onto the floor since they couldn't avoid falling from the vessel's harsh trembling.

Eve stares at the ceiling, her back against the terrain, while irritation is overflowing and grovels, "I swear...!" The beauty strains herself to sit upright, her eastern limb maintaining its grip of the broadsword.

In the grey-eyed chick's case, Doyenne elevates herself from the floor via both hands, considering she was lying on her anterior, as she wields her gazes towards the path ahead of her. Then, the woman breaks into a sprint without saying anything, compelling Eve to hurriedly chase after her. A minuscule period later, having traversed pass the middle of the ship by several courses available, Doyenne finds a team of Syndicate members blotting the hallway.

Eve's baffled a little prior to swapping her personality with aggravation. "Guess I didn't beat all of them! I'll fix that!"

Doyenne calmly remarks amidst tapping her gem with both hands situated at her waistline, "Unnecessary."

The group of opponents are promptly lifted into the air, startling them, and can't utilize the weapons they're carrying well as a result.

Doyenne eventually adds to the Syndicate's neutralized state via leaping precisely when she's about to reach them, administering a right Thrust kick onto a Vulpes' midsection.

With that, the assaulted character is driven upon its comrades stationed behind it while unintentionally clearing the path.

Doyenne, landing on the floor in a sideways stance, glances at Eve. "That's why." She quickly resumes her journey.

Eve keeps her past constant as she silently admires Doyenne's capabilities until realizing that the Syndicate's associates are pursuing them, thinking with her head turned eastward to depict the suited mob, "Doyenne must be running on fumes. That gem can normally last a while before releasing the folks it traps." The jacketed female draws her concentration forward, abruptly seeing a barrage of darts swiftly flying towards her as this forces Eve to duck while detaining her progression.

A bunch of the Syndicate personnel are instantly stabbed by the darts and cry out in agony, stopping in their tracks, while worry plagues those lucky enough not to be hit.

Eve does a double-take to verify that she indeed witness that it was darts prior to discovering Fey rapidly advancing towards her. Upon that, the sword-wielder registers the determination oozing from her companion and hastily alters her trajectory just as Fey passed her left sector. Both women soon arrive near the Syndicate members' anterior as they dispose of them in the matter of seconds.

Simultaneously, Doyenne meets up with Gabriela while the latter of the two hugs her friend, delighted that she's alright. Afterwards, having ceased their embrace to watch Eve and Fey, the pair smirk as the final foe was defeated through a horizontal cut from the silver-haired individual.

Fey blandly observes Eve from the lower right of the hall, containing her arms crossed.

Eve leisurely sets her sight to Fey, possessing the broadsword within both hands that are hanging in front of her, before grinning.

Fey reciprocates Eve's action as she diverts her attention to Doyenne via steering her head westward.

Doyenne randomly switches her conduct to demonstrate a callousness, looking at Fey and Gabriela. "So, where's the space pod?"

Without hesitation, the duo point a finger towards Eve while declaring in unison, retaining their current attitude to evade suspicion, "Eve wrecked it."

Eve's immediately stunned as she views Fey and Gabriela until keying onto Doyenne, who's coldly staring at her. Following that, the damsel detaches her left hand from her weapon to wave it towards Doyenne while urgently exclaiming, "Not true! Please believe me, Doyenne! I really didn't destroy it this time!"

Doyenne exhales out of mild agitation with her eyes closed, dropping her head a tad. "Curse it all..." The pale character brings her focus back to the trio. "How are we escaping then?"

The three chicks share a glimpse, uncertainty showing itself while on the verge of replying, prior to issuing Doyenne a shrug.

Doyenne disapprovingly shakes her head, sarcastically commenting, "Wonderful." The brunette lifts her left hand to caress some of her hair as she shifts her vision to Eve's microphone and sternly says, "Communicate with the others to check what our options are. My connection has been severed."

Eve sharply nods, confidence brimming. "Right! I originally had that in mind as our back-up plan! Totally!" She veers her gaze to her microphone, places her western appendage at her collar and commences to discuss with Virago's crew.

Doyenne casually directs her concentration to the area behind her and thinks, "Can't call that a plan if it's the sole thing we can hope to do from this end." Victress' leader profoundly sighs until giggling as she continues her thought process. "Gotta' love these girls." Doyenne suddenly recalls a specific detail, concluding with her stating in a gleeful manner amidst having her right hand gingerly slap her forehead, "Oh! I know a way out of here!" She faintly laughs while dangling her hoisted limb beside her. "Silly me for forgetting!"

*Scene Change*

Inside the Bridge of the blue cruiser Sebastian's commanding, Kairi renders every Syndicate personnel attacking her from the rear region of the room unconscious.

Because of that, the adversaries ahead of Harper are bewildered as they gradually retract themselves from the siblings. In addition, a handful of the suited guys glance towards the display of Whatley and Simone to attain an order, however, note that they're busy contending with their own circumstance.

Harper promptly advises the crew after discerning his sister's success while steadily maneuvering backwards, "If you don't want any harm to befall Sebastian, you better maintain your distance. We simply wish to leave with minimal resistance. We'll require one of your escape pods though. I apologize in advance."

The Syndicate associates glare at Harper, the Vulpes among them growling in hostility.

Kairi eventually goes to the automated door, which opens for her with no delay, and motions towards Harper via her left arm as she's facing away while possessing her head turned accordingly. "Hurry, Tate!" The beauty haphazardly sees Alpha soaring around from the west to combat the Syndicate's armada, effortlessly invoking concerning as she vaguely adjusts her posture towards the left before her attention locks on an anomaly that's to the Bridge's right from Harper's perspective at a significant range. After a minor period transgresses, Kairi gains a clearer depiction of the object since it's hastily traveling towards Alpha's vicinity while discovering that its a gold jet as she starts to zone out.

Harper soon catches up to Kairi, accidentally bumping into her as he instantly navigates his sight to his sibling with substantial irritation exhibited. "What's with you?! Why did you stop?!"

Kairi mounts her vision towards Harper, alarmed by his outburst prior to composing herself with her concentration aimed forth so she can journey into the hallway while softly responding. "It's him."

Harper fails to hear Kairi and draws his gaze towards the Syndicate members, keeping them at bay via somewhat gesturing Sebastian. Witnessing the effectiveness of that, the hazel-eyed gentleman makes his retreat as he firmly remarks, "Before I go, I truly am grateful for all of your assistance. I'm really not one to neglect paying a debt. Please be patient and I'll follow through with that." Harper's then hidden by the entrance/exit shutting once he reached a certain length away from it.

Meanwhile, the Lt. Colonel's jet begins aiding Alpha in battling with the Syndicate's fleet, relentlessly shooting its blasters. During the gold machine's onslaught, a team of Deltas vertically fly around the ship that was initially struck as a few of them bury into the cruiser to tear through it with countless explosions occurring.

Thanks to that, Alpha's given a reprieve of the enemies' cannon fire as the Syndicate's vessels that are nearby are channeling their attack to the Lt. Colonel's space craft.

Anemone observes the gold jet's movement with awe, compliments of how incredible it is that the machine can handle such a situation and not seem to be overwhelmed at all, until inquiring, "Who could be piloting it?"

Virgil grins while tenacity establishes itself and soon has Alpha speed towards the Lt. Colonel's jet.

Anemone's caught off guard by Virgil's abrupt action and increases her volume with a moderately worried tone included. "What are you doing, V?!"

Virgil chuckles, sustaining his focus on the gold craft. "There's only one jet I know of that model with that paint job!" The young man quickly detects a storm of shots hurling towards Alpha's left due to a Syndicate ship reacknowledging its existence. Immediately reacting, Virgil takes control of the western rifle via pressing some of the icons accessible to him. Achieving that, the blue-eyed lad directs the weapon towards the opposing vessel and launches a strong blast that causes Alpha to recoil to the right excessively.

After that, the targeted ship is instantly pierced prior to a tremendous eruption expels from within it, annihilating the larger machine in conclusion.

Anemone's immensely astonished at the sight of what Virgil did as she's leaning towards the left a bit. Not much later, the teen slowly returns her vision to her friend with her posture commandeered onward and was about to speak, although almost bites her tongue from Alpha swiftly resuming its pursuit of the Lt. Colonel's space craft.

Then, Virgil sincerely utters with Alpha's western limb dropped, considering it already dispatched of the recent nuisance, "Forgive me, Anemone. I didn't have the time to yell out your name and wait for your response. Please, be attentive of any threats to us and eliminate them. That's all I need from you."

Anemone stares at Virgil, speechless, before merely nodding with a sad smirk.

Despite him not depicting Anemone's acceptance, Virgil's aware of it from the femme's silence while emitting joy. "Thank you."

Alpha continues its flight towards the gold jet, which the Lt. Colonel notices amidst firing at the left end of a Syndicate ship. Following that, the adult glimpses to the destruction of the cruiser Virgil shot and portrays a pleased demeanor until haphazardly making his jet dive upon viewing the big craft ahead of him. Once that's done, the gold machine rapidly ascends towards the belly of the foe as the Lt. Colonel bombards it with everything he has and whispers in a determined manner, "It's tough to compete with whatever their using, but that doesn't mean I'll lie down and leave it to them! I'm not old enough for that!"

Suddenly, the Deltas that were ripping through the earlier vessel hastily catch up to the Lt. Colonel's craft and envelop it moments from the jet colliding with the current adversary while each orbit the machine at a different angle. This leads to the pilot throwing away caution, remembering how powerful the gems are, as contact is promptly made.

Because of the impact, the cruiser is propelled while almost splitting in half, however, ultimately blows up from the heavy damage it received.

The gold jet hurriedly parts from the blast radius the way he came, eyeing the explosion via possessing his head directed to the right as he's fairly amazed. "Alright, ignoring that I was going to crash into it without a shred of contemplation, a crazy thing to do no doubt... What? Did I really just..." He trails off while investigating his surroundings, having not discerned the Deltas beforehand, and is blanketed by realization. "Ah, that makes sense. I know that I'm good, but there are limits." The Lt. Colonel eventually keys on a Syndicate ship striving to hit his jet with its cannon's ammo from in front of him, compelling the male to frantically elude the onslaught.

Interrupting the Syndicate's effort after a temporary period, Alpha locates itself in the middle of the gold space craft's path, poised sideways with its left area towards the opponent's vicinity. Soon after, the Mech elevates its western arm as Anemone has her focus glued to the Syndicate vessel with a cold personality while mumbling, "Sayonara." Alpha's rifle releases another beam, striking the bow of the cruiser within an instance.

A giant eruption is quickly generated from the ship's afflicted section, although the blast didn't have an equal level of strength compared to when Virgil fired the rifle and permits the Syndicate craft to dodge total destruction. This greatly confuses Anemone as the Mech is gradually steered eastward by Virgil to confront the Lt. Colonel's jet, lowering its raised appendage in the process.

The Lt. Colonel immediately halts his machine's travel prior to smiling at Alpha while ensuring that he has an open line to communicate with Virgil. "You're finally flying, even though it's not a jet."

Hearing the Lt. Colonel's words, Virgil urgently shifts his concentration to his controls as he politely requests, "Can you please change back? You understand how important this is to me."

Alpha's appearance hurriedly alters to allow the jet to regain its original form, easily invoking a content grin out of Virgil.

The Lt. Colonel witnesses Alpha's alteration with his eyes widening from delight until sincerity adds itself to his conduct, his expression softening. "I'm so proud of you, Virgil. You ready to soar around with your dad?"

Virgil tries to restrain the urge to cry, hanging his head amidst tightening his grasp upon the controls.

At the same time, Anemone's briefly shocked, repetitively glancing towards Virgil and the gold space craft with her posture tilted towards her left, before smirking.

Virgil soon brings his head back up while wholeheartedly declaring, "You know it!"

The Lt. Colonel nods prior to both he and Virgil switch their attention towards the numerous Syndicate vessels lurking close to the main craft, seriousness taking over. Then, the two jets rapidly pull away from each other via being navigated accordingly to commence their advancement towards the Syndicate's armada while the jets' blasters feverishly implement a plethora of blows onto the enemy.

The group of foes attempt countering the duo, despite how tough it is because of the jets' swift maneuvering. During that, Whatley views the battle with disdain radiating while partially listening to his subordinates report what happened concerning Sebastian and thinks, "This freaking assholes! They're making fun of me!"

Simone eventually rests his left hand on his father's right shoulder, garnering the Mafioso's focus without delay, as he comments in a fatigued tone while reflecting a solemn behavior, "We oughta' catch our breath, pops. Ain't we primarily here so ya' could settle ya' debt with Crest? He ain't around at the moment. Let's relax."

Whatley exhibits an upset attitude. "Ya' moron! What are we all about?! We've mentioned it a load of times earlier!"

Simone sternly retorts. "If I'm gonna' replace ya', there oughta' be more of a difference than simply that! I ain't asking to forfeit who we are, but modifying shit is the smart thing to do when it's needed!"

Whatley menacingly watches Simone for several seconds prior to receiving information from one of the crew members that an escape pod of theirs has departed with no notice, forcing the fellow's gaze to be pointed towards the left while intensity arises.

Simone calmly stares at the associate. "It's gotta' be that woman and her comrades. She talked about jacking a pod." The young man reverts his sight to Whatley. "I get that ain't a big deal that they left the ship. They'd have to reach an extreme distance to be outside of your psychic power's clutches, but-"

Whatley abruptly detains Simone's speech through coldly administering his vision toward his son again. "Alright."

Simone's significantly intrigued as he cocks his head eastward. "Alright what?"

Whatley promptly veers himself to face towards the northern part of the Bridge, mounting both hands onto his waist. "We already got those guys from the Global Defender Academy owing us. That'll suffice for now. I can break them feisty dames whenever, like ya' said." The adult resets his concentration towards Simone via turning his head to the right. "Ya' will be responsible if shit goes wrong. I trust ya' to handle at least that much. Or do ya' regret ya' pompous remark?"

Simone narrows his eyes, tenacity emanating. "Of course I don't!"

Whatley chuckles and nods. "I'd expect nothing less from my boy." He rolls his eyes while peering skyward, adjusting his head's angling to aim forth. "I'm ignoring your brothers with that statement, obviously."

Simone softly laughs after casually uttering, "I know." The lad directs his attention to his companions and steadily positions himself next to Whatley's right as seriousness is portrayed. "Tell the others that everybody's gonna' go into standby! As far as we're aware, Exca's doing his job! If the Taurians reveal they got more tricks up their sleeve, that's when we'll make a move! Once they figure out we aren't a nuisance to them, the Mech and that gold jet will call it quits! Their reason to fight will be gone, so there's no way they wouldn't wanna' fall back!"

A suited individual cautiously questions from the left region of the room, "What about Sebastian?"

Simone commandeers his sight to the character, confidence showing. "He can take care of himself. Anyway, the people holding him hostage don't seem to be scumbags." The Italian focuses onward. "They'll probably toss him aside once they secure their method of bailing."

*Scene Change*

Harper, currently carrying Sebastian over his right shoulder to traverse the confines of the ship easier, runs besides Kairi's right. Ultimately, the siblings arrive at the hangar and see a bunch of Syndicate personnel blotting their way to the pods poised towards the back sector. Thanks to that, the uniformed gentleman motions his head toward Sebastian with a passive demeanor displayed. "I believe a trade is in order."

The Syndicate members hold their ground, unwilling to succumb to Harper until they unexpectedly hear a pod activate. Following that, the assortment gawk at the machine as they find it starting to levitate off the floor and are forced to scramble about when the craft instantly flies towards them. Among the collection of folks desperately evading, the dark-skinned lad who Sebastian teased once ducks with his hands atop his head, retaining his gaze upon the pod.

A moment later, the object ceases its journey ahead of the pair while hastily opening, demonstrating Oxford within it as she grins at them and asks in a smart-ass way, "Did somebody request a Deux Machina?" The elder giggles out of amusement.

Harper restrains himself from laughing, an apologetic personality established. "You realize we all forgot about you, correct?"

Oxford nods. "That's what I was hoping for. Allows me to be a trump card. If not, hiding in here the whole time would've been for naught."

Harper shakes his head as he and Kairi rush to enter the small craft. "I suspected as much. You're low key amazing." The captain suddenly halts his progression, compliments of a male voice yelling out behind him to release Sebastian, and investigates via navigating his head eastward. After doing that, Harper depicts the young Syndicate member while curiosity presents itself.

The lad solely observes Harper, gasping for air since he recently caught up to the pod's anterior, and brims determination.

Harper soon faces the character by turning clockwise while planting his left hand onto the edge of the craft's entrance for leverage before removing Sebastian from his shoulder. "Fine."

The dark-skinned person's quite baffled, having not anticipated Harper's lackadaisical acceptance of his demand, as he inquires, "Really?" He then quickly advances forward a tad to support Sebastian's unconscious being and steps back afterwards.

Harper smirks amidst separating his hand from the entrance and recedes into the pod for it to shut. With that, the machine rapidly ascends, however, stops short of colliding into the ceiling as the Caucasian declares through the intercom that the pod owns, "I suggest you open the hatch or we'll cause extensive damage."

The lad becomes alarmed while hurriedly dragging Sebastian to safety as another Syndicate associate follows Harper's advice, considering that everyone would be in danger. This eventually leads to the crew witnessing the pod's exit as the dark-skinned individual thinks with substantial astonishment emitted, "He actually did it... We exchanged one for the other..."

As the pod makes its departure, the rest of the Syndicate's fleet receive the instruction to leave Jet 4 and the gold craft alone, slowly retreating to inform their adversaries of the decision. Relief immediately consumes Virgil and Anemone, especially with them gaining information that their allies are on the verge of reaching Virago. Not long after, the spiky-haired teen switches his concentration to his father's space craft while commenting with a hint of sadness, "Looks as though our flight together is already over, dad. Mom's gonna' be waiting for us in a brown ship. We should go to her as fast as possible."

The Lt. Colonel replies through the microphone with sincerity exhibited. "I figured she would be around, but don't be down, Virgil. We'll have our chance to properly team up in combating an enemy. You can fly now."

Virgil smiles and nods as he gingerly says, "Yeah."
