Episode 25: Friendship Over Obligation

*Starting Scene*

Rewinding the clock a little, Alpha rapidly pursues the modified Taurian since the foe was able to exit the previous combined attack the machine's rifles implement, although it took sufficient damage that resulted in the alien's being to commence wearing down. At the same time, Virgil intently analyzes the humanoid ox while ensuring that his piloting maintains a good pace as he comments for Anemone to listen, "He's withstanding Alpha similar to how the Harbinger did."

Anemone launches another assault towards the Taurian via the guns remaining together. "Meaning that the alloyed is derived from a star's core. I wonder when they managed to copy Earth 03 in accomplishing that."

The Taurian desperately counteracts the oncoming blast, compliments of multiple beams slicing through it and causing the projectile to erupt.

Virgil doesn't falter whatsoever as Alpha enters the explosion. "We shouldn't make that sort of assumption. Who knows if our people weren't the imitators. One thing that's obvious is the difference in durability. He isn't fairing too well, compared to the Harbinger."

Curiosity engulfs Anemone while viewing Virgil by tilting her head westward. "You think it was improved through taking reference from this Taurian."

Virgil shakes his head amidst Alpha suddenly switching its trajectory to ascend, ultimately positioning itself above the Taurian. "Not necessarily. We're talking about a living creature getting tampered with and a Mech built from scratch. I'd say he's more like Doyenne."

Anemone promptly has the rifles shoot again upon Alpha angling its arms southward, forcing the Taurian to feverishly deploy its defense via the exact method it exhibited earlier. "Speaking of, are you paying attention to your mic? Doyenne's with the Syndicate, apparently. You were right about trusting in Alpha. He led us to her, even though finding Suta was our goal."

Virgil smirks. "Don't forget to mention I was also correct on suspecting that'd happen. It always feels as if everything involving Suta can't be labelled to be a mere coincidences. So, I placed my bet onto it."

Anemone scoffs out of amusement and thinks, "You're tooting your own horn and bringing up a valid point pretty much all at once. I guess this is what entrances me about you." The Asian then brims some worry while drawing her sight to the cockpit as she remarks, "Suta's not around though. It's strange that Alpha brought us here."

Virgil becomes serious, Alpha continually chasing the Taurian that recently decided to descend for its safety, as the crimson and aqua Mech stations its appendages at their corresponding sections while performing a dive. "That's Suta relying on us." The young man tightens his grasp upon the controls. "As a star, he must've never had that. Why would he, when each problem that rears its head can be settled with his capabilities?"

The Taurian abruptly begins to zigzag around to make Alpha's pursuit of it tougher, however, fails because of Virgil's unyielding determination.

During that, Anemone ponders over Virgil's explanation while waiting for the best moment to resume her onslaught towards the Taurian until uttering with intrigue, "I don't understand why he'd want us to go through that kind of hassle. Like you said, it'd be easy that he'd just..." She trails off due to slowly realizing something, leading her to thinking, "Oh... Now I get it. Suta's doing this to invoke a change. One that'd benefit him, who always could solve stuff with a simple thought, and a change that's good for V." Anemone mounts her gaze towards Virgil as she persists her thought process. "V always felt a pressure from his family that screwed with his confidence, hence his anxiety. Them telling him it was fine that he didn't pilot made things worse. After all, V knew that they did it out of pity."

The Taurian, having grown tired of running away, quickly steers itself to face Alpha and expels a barrage of beams while poised at a small range from its adversary.

Alpha evades the lasers with minimal movement portrayed as it hurriedly narrows the gap.

Anemone shifts her focus to the radar before her while thinking with a hint of sadness, "I hate to accept it, but even the support I gave V came from me feeling bad for him. I can't honestly claim that I tried motivating him without contemplating he oughta' quit if he's suffering. My faith in him was shallow too." The teen lifts her vision a tad as she thinks, "Suta was straightforward with his belief in V. He actually forced him to yell out his deepest desire. A wish I had no clue V held inside himself." Anemone soon sarcastically whispers amidst shaking her head, "Some friend I am..."

Virgil randomly shouts, keeping his eyes fixed upon the Taurian, "Anemone!"

Anemone's quite startled, briefly pulling her head backwards prior to discerning that Virgil called out her name so she would administer an attack again. Following that, the blue-haired beauty does exactly that, although chose to alter the wings to take on their bladed form since Alpha is nearby the enemy. This concludes with a diagonal swings delivered by the machine's right weapon, connecting with the modified Taurian's northern region while Alpha's tool generated aura to guarantee its effectiveness in defeating the modified extraterrestrial.

A big explosion immediately transpires from the wing-based sword and the Taurian, leaving nothing left of the latter of the two.

After seeing that, Virgil turns Alpha to be angled upright as he looks at Anemone via navigating his head westward while demonstrating mild skepticism. "Why don't you cut a little closer next time?"

Anemone glares at Virgil by slanting her head accordingly, annoyance vaguely established. "Hey, he's dead. No nitpicking."

Virgil chuckles while nodding. "True. It was smart of you to switch to the blade. He wasn't expecting it, so he couldn't defend."

Anemone sheepishly grins. "Thanks. Though I didn't plan it in advance. It was mostly instincts."

Virgil deviates his concentration to where the Taurian previously existed and mumbles, "Naturally."

Despite not hearing Virgil, Anemone displays a slightly irritated scowl as she thinks, "V probably dissed me under his breath right now... Jerk..."

*Scene Change*

The Lt. Colonel's team reach Earth 03's armada while Alpha battled the modified Taurian as the adult was listening on the dialogue between Virgil and Anemone throughout with significant interest.

Eventually, a fellow pilot communicates with the Lt. Colonel in a polite manner. "Sir, are you alright? You've been silent for a while."

The Lt. Colonel doesn't respond at first, staring towards the left until applying his sight to the large ships ahead of him with his jet gradually reducing its speed.

From that occurring, the crimson crafts initially tailing the Lt. Colonel's machine pass it by and causes the assortment of characters to swiftly emit confusion while observing the gold jet.

The Lt. Colonel hastily commands as he veers his spacecraft eastward so it can journey in the Syndicate's direction, "Stay here and cover our immobile comrades! Something important came up that I must attend to!"

The batch of Earth 03 personnel attempt to go after the Lt. Colonel in spite of his orders due to their concern for him, however, their jets haphazardly lose power without warning. The reason that happened is instantly revealed via each gem that had embedded itself into a crimson machine separating from it as they rapidly chase the Lt. Colonel's craft.

Simultaneously, the commanding officer who once disputed with the Lt. Colonel witnesses the gold jet's departure, compliments of the vessel he resides in having enough of its resources to retain the main monitor's function. Afterwards, the male radiates frustration as he fervently exclaims, "Where the hell is he going?! He's all over the place, first retreating without my approval and now flying back towards the Syndicate!"

Earth 03's members plainly watch the man, incapable of answering his question because of them clearly not knowing the purpose to the Lt. Colonel's sudden action either. Then, the group notice a shadowy figure appear across the lone screen letting them see outside while quickly growing alarmed.

The guy in charge is equally fearful of the mysterious entity while unconsciously maneuvering rearward prior to depicting the entire Bridge being plagued by static noise, provoking a distraught cry from the officer and the crew.

*Scene Change*

Within the Syndicate's primary ship, a space pod tears through numerous sectors before arriving at the hangar and effortlessly incites panic from the fellows situated there as they scramble for their life. Ultimately, while the Syndicate personnel are moving out of the way, the pod smashes into the hall that leads to the Bridge as a giant eruption is forged from the impact.

Some time progresses following the explosion that has practically rendered the path useless, especially thanks to the flames presented, as the crew cautiously examine the devastation. A moment later, several of the Syndicate associates haphazardly yell in pain until collapsing onto the floor while substantially frightening their companions located nearby. The still standing individuals soon discover what transpired via registering a dart protruding from their allies' posterior, summoning stress out of them immediately.

While the Syndicate members made that revelation, fast footsteps advance towards a bunch of the gentleman as they barely succeed in gaining a glimpse of Fey amidst the Russian driving her fingers into their weak points. Once that's done, multiple thuds resound as a result of the assaulted characters harshly colliding with the landscape while the leotard-endowed chick has her back to them, nonchalantly dangling both arms at their respective regions.

Syndicate personnel poised towards the opposite end of the hangar from the fire-consumed hall glare at Fey and are about to break into a dash to challenge the dame, planning on utilizing the repair tools they're currently carrying as weapons. Deterring the assortment's strive, a team of darts soar at them while promptly sinking into their right, petrifying the Syndicate.

Not long after, Gabriela leisurely walks towards the group of men with a big smile portrayed. "Oh, wow! You'd think that the Syndicate's guys wouldn't fall victim to the same stuff that takes out riff-raff whom have a measly bounty!"

Offended by Gabriela's declaration, other Syndicate associates silently search for tools of combat hidden in case of an emergency throughout the hangar.

Sadly for the criminals, Fey's aware of their intention as she merely makes eye contact with Gabriela to inform her of the Syndicate's ploy.

Gabriela hurriedly alters her focus via turning herself counterclockwise while contorting a bit to tap her thighs to have the Wasp Stingers materialize and collects them inside both hands. In conclusion, the Hispanic chucks the darts by vertically snapping her arms as every Syndicate member is swiftly struck, eventually dropping to the terrain like their allies.

Fey abruptly rushes eastward, secure of Gabriela's capabilities in dealing with that batch of foes, and dispatches the remaining Syndicate characters after a minor period transgressing.

Gabriela giggles at the sight of Fey's victory over the rest of the enemy as she's facing towards her friend with her arms entwined.

Fey solemnly looks at Gabriela, surrounded by downed Syndicate crew while possessing her person directed away from the hazel-eyed female. "Something on your mind?"

Gabriela exhibits a dull demeanor. "How good is your hearing? You're so far, and yet, you noticed me faintly laughing."

Fey bluntly retorts. "It's the best there is."

Gabriela instantly tilts herself westward, criticism swapping places with her earlier conduct. After a couple of seconds, the damsel straightens her composition while diverting her gaze to where the pod crashed as a tiny shred of worry arises. "This is awful."

Fey peers behind herself through navigating her head towards the left and views the raging flames blotting the path prior to reverting her concentration to Gabriela. "It'll be fine." She extends her western appendage at the large hole their space pod created when entering the hanger. "We ended up developing another course. We can try to find Doyenne that way."

Gabriela shakes her head, dread mixed into her tone. "Not what's bothering me. We trashed a pod. Doyenne's gonna' have our ass for this."

Fey shrugs after lowering her left arm. "We can simply place the blame on Eve. Her track record is all we require to convince Doyenne that she destroyed it."

Gabriela snaps her right hand's fingers, now emanating a cheerful attitude, as she commandeers it towards Fey. "Great idea!" The beauty shifts her attention to the hole and mounts her elevated limb upon her hip. "She'd probably assume that it was Eve without us having to say a single thing!" Gabriela temporarily laughs, her head cocked backwards, until realization sets in while blankly viewing the area in front of her. "Man, we're mean."

Fey smirks amidst drawing her focus to the opening so she could begin traveling towards it, however, experiences a sharp pain ailing her brain. Due to that, the woman staggers a little as she grimaces with her eyes shut, vaguely grunting.

Gabriela hastily regains her concern from discerning Fey's agony while attempting to check on her. The beige-haired chick is interrupted though, compliments of sustaining the same kind of sensation that's tormenting Fey within a split second, and quickly clutches at her skull via her right hand while bending forth as she exclaims, "Ah! My head! It hurts! It's as if something's squeezing it!"

Fey veers her vision towards Gabriela with seriousness added to her person. "It must be the work of Whatley Greco. He's truly a psychic like the general information about him said."

Gabriela rapidly scans the surroundings and is quite agitated. "Where is he then?! Let's look for him and kick his ass to make him stop!" She randomly falls to her knees because of her striving to move a tad, smacking her left hand onto the floor so she could obtain some stability.

Seeing Gabriela's descent, Fey does her best to stay still. "Won't be easy." The blue-eyed individual switches her sight to stare at the part of landscape close to her. "I'm having difficulty thinking. Imagine trying to do more than that." Fey becomes fairly disoriented from the constant pressure her head's receiving, forcing her to shut her eyes, and mutters, "It's up to you, Eve." She exhales in a depressive way.

*Scene Change*

Whatley demonstrates a smug grins during his present observation of the rear section of the Bridge. "I've got them trapped." The fellow deviates his concentration to the display of Sebastian, Harper and Kairi. "It was only three who came crashing in. Whenever I wanna' knock off my toying with them, they're dead. Ya' really ain't gonna' assist them?"

Harper coldly retorts to Whatley. "Indeed. I'm not a lowlife anymore. My word is my bond. There isn't much that could compel to defy that."

Whatley grits his teeth, anger commencing to establish itself. "Think ya' safe from my power, punk?! Keep spitting on my face with ya' indirect shit! I'll show ya' that ain't the case whatsoever!"

Kairi leans towards Sebastian to whisper as she watches Whatley with a scrutinizing expression, "Is he usually this emotional?"

Sebastian gazes at Kairi out of the corner of his eyes while portraying a lackadaisical behavior and gingerly speaks. "Just when he's getting over a blow to his ego. It's 'cause of that brunette he's being so petty. Vecchio uomo's very prideful."

Whatley instills his attention to Sebastian. "Quit yapping with her, Sebastian! Or are ya' two chums?! Maybe ya' already hit the sack together!"

Sebastian promptly panics, anticipating the trouble that will be summoned from Whatley's remark, with Harper stepping towards the right to distance himself since he's also aware of the danger.

Kairi, having originally attempted to restrain herself, eventually shouts with ferocity brimming, "Did you seriously insinuate that I'm some skank?!" The redhead gestures her right hand to Sebastian. "Firstly, I'm married to a man who's leagues above this guy!"

Sebastian nearly drops to his left side, devastated by Kairi's harsh words, and plants his western hand upon the spot his heart is stationed to symbolize the level of the insult's effectiveness.

Meanwhile, Kairi continues her speech with her left arm lowered. "Plus, I'd never stoop to befriending any of you fugitives! Our interactions were solely business related!"

Harper dully thinks as he maintains his focus towards Whatley, "Except a couple of the times you got pissed and threatened them! They had nothing to do with retrieving Virgil and Anemone."

Once Kairi finished her small rant, Whatley evilly smiles while nodding. "Ya' right. We're criminals and ya' fancy yourselves to be representatives of justice. That gives me enough of a reason to put ya' down, like a mangy dog."

Harper grows tense and mildly maneuvers backwards as he thinks, "That didn't take long." The Caucasian glances about to verify the placement of the Syndicate crew that's close by while thinking, "Let's go to Plan B, then." Harper's on the verge of steering his vision to Kairi so he can silently signal her that they need to leave, however, a few clanging noises haphazardly reverberate from Whatley's end. This leads to the uniformed gentleman urgently bringing his sight towards the image of the Syndicate members, his mouth partially hanging, and exhibits intrigue.

Whatley hurriedly investigates the source of the ruckus through twisting his body clockwise a bit as Simone was observing the rear before his father, discovering that the lone entrance to the Bridge is sustaining countless tears from a whip-styled object. Afterwards, the Mafioso's moderately baffled thanks to his psychic abilities letting him know who's behind the door amidst blurting out, "Nah! How the hell?!"

With that, the majority of the automated entrance is split apart, resulting in chunks scattered along the floor, while Eve's instantly demonstrated. At the moment, the jacketed female is heavily panting as her hands are tightly gripping the broadsword that has recently restored itself from its extended state, both limbs hanging ahead of her while Eve's slumped in the same direction. Following that, Eve idly drives her concentration towards the control room with her barely capable of depicting the silhouettes of those she's confronting and strains herself to talk. "Doyenne...!"

Harper and Kairi emit worry, noticing the agony on Eve's conduct prior to specifying their attention to the corpses of Syndicate associates that are draped inside the hall.

An infuriated scowl ingrains itself onto Whatley, properly facing towards Eve in the process. "Ya' shouldn't be here! My power should've detained ya' from advancing! Ya' were at the halfway point too! What sorta' perseverance can ya' have to keep moving?!"

Eve rebuttals without hesitation, overflowing tenacity. "You're Whatley Greco, huh?! Where do have Doyenne?! Release her to me!"

Simone's somewhat confused and slants his head eastward, retaining his anterior towards the display of Sebastian's group. "Can't ya' see?"

Eve shows a surprised expression as she navigates her head wildly. "Wait! Are you saying she's around?! Doyenne! Answer me!"

Whatley scoffs while shaking his head until softly commenting so only Simone could listen, "Her sight is blurred, probably nearly blind. It happens for her recklessly pushing herself through the constriction of her mind. I don't know why I was being dramatic." The adult steadily journeys towards Eve, arrogance taking shape. "I'll begin with killing ya'. Consider it as a reward for reaching me, despite the obstacle I bestowed on ya'."

Eve expels a vicious grunt and suddenly straightens her posture to commence flailing her arms towards Whatley with her weapon stretching substantially.

Whatley's unfazed by Eve's attack due to the tool failing to strike him while bending along the suited man as if there exists a barrier. During that, the Syndicate's leader persists his travel towards Eve and glimpses at the broadsword each time it makes an attempt. "Ain't that precious? Honestly, ya' gotta' be really cocky to expect a physical assault to work. I oughta' chalk it to ya' not thinking correctly. Ain't that bad of an excuse."

Eve halts her fruitless efforts as she slams her sword atop the terrain, her composition slouching, and squints her eyes to gain a better view of Whatley while panting a little.

Whatley chuckles. "So that ya' are aware of it before ya' die, ya' had no hope in ever landing a hit." He briefly motions his right hand to aim its thumb towards Doyenne with his focus staying locked upon Eve. "That dama woke a sleeping giant, and with ya' desperate act of defiance, I'm determined to fix things to their appropriate order. I ain't getting caught off guard again." Whatley's immediately proven wrong, compliments of a strong force colliding with his cruiser, as that concludes with him lifting his gaze while profoundly dumbfounded.

After that, it's revealed via the Syndicate's multiple screens that Alpha has touch down onto the blue vessel, looming over it with malicious intentions because of how the Mech has its tools of combat raised.

Simone witnesses that on the display to his right and portrays a skeptical attitude. "It's a bluff. Whoever's piloting that contraption gotta' know we have a hostage. Can't forget about Exca either. He oughta' be-" The young Italian's interrupted by Alpha slashing through a decent layer of the ship's alloy, causing it to vibrate significantly. Having to strengthen his balance from the mighty impact, Simone's stunned as his hold of Doyenne slips a tad.

Doyenne winces from the abrupt mobility done by Simone striving not to drop her, although remains unconscious apparently.

While that occurs, Sebastian directs himself towards Harper to give him an upset glare. "Hey! What's ya' nephew and his friend think they're doing?!"

Harper casually looks at Sebastian. "I mentioned that myself and Kairi wouldn't bear a grudge, implicating that we'd refrain from involving ourselves in the matter between the Syndicate and Victress. Nowhere does that equal to Virgil and Anemone's allegiance." The male cunningly smirks. "If that enrages you, turn around. You'll suffer something worse in my opinion."

A hint of confusion mixes into Sebastian's personality as he starts swinging himself accordingly to check why Harper said that. "What could even be-" The chubby character's unable to complete his inquiry while unprecedentedly receiving a headbutt from Kairi the moment he's facing her, who removed her glasses via her right hand to deliver the assault.

The Syndicate members from both crafts are promptly awestruck, their jaw concurrently lowered with their eyes widening.

Sebastian's instantly dazed while contorted rearward, inadvertently falling towards Harper.

Capitalizing on that, Harper ensures that Sebastian passes out via administering a simultaneously chop onto the neon-eyed fellow's neck from opposing regions after veering himself to confront Sebastian and then firmly grabs the afflicted body part with both hands.

Whatley registers Harper's action, containing his head shifted towards the left so he can see, as he tries to utilize his power to subdue the captain, but is derailed by Eve randomly lunging at him. This results in the Mafioso becoming mad and mounts his attention towards Eve as he yells, "Ya' seriously wanna' die before anyone else, eh?!"

Eve quickly experiences a tremendous pressure threatening to crush her brain while refusing to falter and grinds her teeth with a furious behavior radiating.

At the same time, the Syndicate associates accompanying Sebastian hastily rise from their seats to make an effort in saving him.

Harper rushes to position Sebastian between himself and the crew as a shield while Kairi hurriedly hides behind her brother, putting back on her glasses in the meantime.

Several of the crew located at the back sector immediately charge from Kairi's rear, certain that their sheer numbers will allow them to prevail over the duo.

Kairi disappoints the Syndicate personnel's ambition through swiftly striking their face with a couple of backhands prior to spinning herself to properly accept their challenge, balled up fists ready.

During that, Simone depicts what's transgressing with Sebastian as he intends on aiding his friend, although he continues to be quite exhausted from his previous usage of his psychic ability.

Suddenly, Eve's voice resounds while about to issue a horizontal attack towards Whatley's left, screaming, "DOYENNE!"

Doyenne's eyes snap open with alarm presented, temporarily examining her surroundings, until instinctively slapping her left hand's fingers upon her gem. Following that, everyone residing in the Bridge, except for the buttoned-shirt femme, are floating off the floor while shocking most of them.

Even though she's also airborne, Eve doesn't cease her assault's trajectory and manages to cut into Whatley's western limb since the elimination of gravity distracted him.

Whatley cries out in pain upon being shoved towards his right from the collision's momentum as he crashes against a few of his subordinates hovering close by.

Simone gawks at Whatley for a second, bewildered, before switching his concentration to Doyenne with animosity while elevated as well. To his dismay, the blue-eyed individual is rapidly met with a kick, the tip of it landing square onto Simone's nose, as he accidentally relinquishes his possession of Doyenne's torso.

Doyenne takes advantage of Simone's grasp weakening and forges sufficient separation via leaping forward. Once that's accomplished, the beauty confronts Simone, however, mainly focuses on Eve situated not that far from the suited guy's posterior.

With Doyenne discovering her companion getting trapped by her gem's power too, Eve's soon released as she plants her feet upon the terrain while exhibiting a fairly groggy demeanor and barely retains her grip of the broadsword.

Doyenne's on the verge of running towards Eve, keying onto how frail the silver-haired woman appears, until detecting an excruciating sensation targeting her skull that has her stagger while bending onward.

Eve recognizes Doyenne's plight, her vision restored a bit, and ultimately applies her gaze towards Whatley as she learns that he's no longer concerning himself with her.

Whatley, using his power to bring himself to stand on the floor in resistance of the gem, establishes a fierce glare as he gradually points his left hand at Doyenne. "Ya' ticked me off for the last time, bitch!"

Eve haphazardly sprints towards Whatley, afraid of what he may do to Doyenne, while valiantly shouting amidst pulling her weapon above her head, "I won't let you!" The young lady's abruptly deterred from her attempt thanks to an invisible force ramming into her right rib area, summoning a grimace of agony as she views where she was struck from the edge of her eyes.

Whatley proudly smiles and thinks with his sight staying on Doyenne, "Good job, Simone." He then increases the strain to Doyenne's brain to kill her, but interference arises yet again via his vessel relentlessly trembling. This leads to Whatley being drawn from the landscape one more time due to unsuccessfully adjusting his psychic power so his footing would be sustained. As a result, the adult cancels his effort in disposing of Doyenne while angrily asking, "Ain't nobody gonna' do something about that dang Mech?! Or I gotta' do everything?!"

A Vulpes hesitantly speaks from the eastern part of the room, motioning to all of the Syndicate members in attendance that are currently floating. "Uh... Vecchio uomo... How are we supposed to do shit like this?"

Whatley steers his gaze towards the associate with hostility emanating. "I ain't referring to the lot of ya'! I'm talking about the morons in the other ships! Why ain't they firing at the freaking Mech?! And they better not use the dumb excuse that they're scared of hitting us! I'll break them if they do!"

Hearing Whatley through the channel the Syndicate's fleet utilizes, the subordinates within the rest of the space crafts are promptly consumed by terror prior to striving to aim their cannons towards Alpha so they can avoid the consequences the Mafioso recently mentioned.

Virgil notes the Syndicate's armada preparing to launch an onslaught towards Alpha as Anemone was going for another slash onto the cruiser below. An instance later, the glasses-endowed lad commandeers Alpha backwards, eluding the projectiles when they are sent, while the crimson and aqua machine achieves its goal of attacking the ship its poised upon.

In conclusion, Whatley's vessel shakes once again, although is saved from clashing with the fellow cannon fire because of the Italian having his extraordinary prowess protect the craft while the shots rapidly journey around it.

Doyenne randomly dashes towards Whatley, garnering both him and Simone's sight, as she demonstrates a tenacious expression.

Whatley plans on countering Doyenne, however, discerns that Simone's about to do the same via detecting his son's psychic ability. This invokes a worried conduct from the man amidst navigating his concentration to Simone, who's facing away since Doyenne's gem is still in effect. "Simone, stop! Ya' gunning for the wrong one!"

Simone's astonished while peering towards the left to witness Whatley before finding Eve inches from his rear.

Eve, wielding a low stance with her Broadsword now towards her left at a diagonal positioning, swings her tool as it encompasses Simone due to the weapon's blade expanding.

Simone grits his teeth out of pain, compliments of the Broadsword's sharp edges digging into his flesh, and shuts his eyes with his head slanted back.

Not permitting Whatley the chance to intervene in Eve's scheme, Doyenne implements a left kick onto the opponent's western knee thanks to her narrowing the division between them.

Whatley winces a little from the contact while eventually depicting Doyenne trying to embed a right, Roundhouse Kick to his jaw again and wrathfully utters, "Not this time!"

Doyenne's unexpectedly hoisted from the floor by Whatley's power as she's swiftly hurled towards the crew that the male collided with earlier, resulting in her experiencing the same fate via her posterior.

Concurrently, with Whatley focusing on Doyenne, Eve tosses Simone at his father through whipping the sword towards her left.

Simone cries out in dismay to make Whatley aware of the circumstance, too tired to have his ability do anything for regaining control of his body, and ultimately crashes onto his parent.

The reason behind the pair's contact was that, while Whatley reacted, Doyenne directed her gem's power to interrupt the brown-haired guy. During that, many of the Syndicate members unceremoniously descend to the terrain or upon a counter as the pale chick manages to land atop a couple of them, cushioning her fall.

With the absence of the gem's application, Whatley receives the full weight of Simone as the duo hit the floor since he wasn't in the right pose to accommodate for that, repetitively cursing following that so he could portray his discontent.

Doyenne and Eve soon lock eyes while confidently grinning until the former hastily gets up from the small mound of characters. Afterwards, the two friends rush to exit the Bridge as their enemies are down.

Whatley attempts to prevent the women's escape amidst viciously glaring at them, although can't due to Alpha administering a mighty strike that rocks the vessel immensely. This compels the older Italian to close his eyes and passionately yells in frustration.
