Episode 18: Villainy At Its Finest

*Starting Scene*

Jet 4 continues to be enveloped by the aura with Virago and the blue cruiser's passengers gawking at the display out of bewilderment. Meanwhile, the craft had ceased its plummet towards Kusari, currently floating at the border of the planets atmosphere, as the damage it sustained commences to vanish amidst the entire jet going through a transformation. Ultimately, with the radiance completely diminishing, Jet 4's revealed while having turned into a Mech containing a slimmer design in comparison to the Harbinger. Also, the machine has gained an aqua coloring to its crimson scheme as it carries a wing inside each hand like swords in a reverse grip with Jet 4's tail now split into two to take the shape of the legs and wields a large star-shaped emblem at the center of its forehead.

Following that, the robot's teal eyes light up, signifying that its prepared for action, while Virgil steadily regains his view of his surroundings from being blinded by the incredible luminescence as he mutters with mild agitation portrayed, "Man, that was bright..."

Anemone nods as she rubs her eyes via both hands, her head lowered a tad. "Yeah. It reminds me of that moment with Suta."

Virgil swiftly veers his concentration to Anemone, compliments of him pointing his head towards the right, and is moderately surprised. "I heard you." The lad peers at the ceiling that has been forged from Jet 4's change, which is poised several meters high, as intrigue replaces his previous behavior. "There's no more engine noise." Virgil exhibits a serious scowl while focusing onward. "Wait, we've been yelling at each other this entire time to listen when we got a line for us to talk through." He face-palms the helmet with his right hand after hanging his head.

Anemone grows embarrassed while removing her hands from her eyes to gaze forth. "That's right!" The Asian instantly keys on her controls due to registering its radar and overall composition having altered to present a couple new options as she thinks during her grabbing of the contraption's handles to lean towards it, "What are these supposed to do?"

Virgil reverts his sight ahead as he notices that the Harbinger isn't attempting to attack Jet 4 and musters his courage. "Appears whatever the ferret did to the jet is leaving a major impression. Let's make the best of it." The teen suddenly witnesses the word "Alpha" materialize at the middle of the screen allowing visibility of the northern area and then chuckles. "So you're name is Alpha. It's way cooler than getting called Cutie, huh?"

Anemone slants herself towards the left to glare at Virgil with anger demonstrated. "Hey!"

Virgil smirks amidst the gradual disappearance of the name from the display so he's able to see the enemy clearly. "Chill, Anemone. Appreciate that Suta was nice enough to first model Alpha after your favorite animal. We should've realized he had something to do with it popping up in Virago. You two did kiss, so of course he'd know about your tastes."

Anemone blushes remembering the experience Virgil just mention and becomes silent as a result while pressing her back against her seat.

Virgil mixes in some intensity to his conduct while wholeheartedly exclaiming, "Anyway, keep watching my back! Alpha has my front!"

With that, Alpha promptly flies towards the Harbinger as the Mech's speed greatly surpasses what it could produce before.

Valon emits a smug look in spite of the recent events and refrains from trying any sort of evasion. "This is..." The Harbinger's anterior is quickly struck by Alpha with tremendous impact that both hurl towards the vastness of space, resembling a shooting star a bit, while narrowly missing the Syndicate's ship because of their trajectory.

Harper observes the robots' rapid journey via navigating his head westward, considering the pair are in that direction from his perspective, while quite baffled. "What happened to Jet 4?! It's a Mech now!"

Everyone else is unable to give an answer as they're totally stunned with their vision set on the two machines too.

At the same time, Virago's crew hurriedly strive to switch their craft's course with Doyenne delivering orders in the process. "Don't lose them! We can't slack off merely 'cause of this random development!"

Eve instills her attention towards Doyenne out of the edge of her eyes and speaks in a scrutinizing method, "But you saw the light! It's the same from the star!"

Doyenne commandeers her concentration upon Eve with ferocity arising. "Yeah and they're fighting Valon Maximus! We mustn't assume all is fine if we aren't certain Virgil has complete control over the situation!"

Marie chimes in a somewhat teasing tone, containing her hands cupped around her mouth, "You mean Virgil and Anemone, don't you, Doyenne?!"

Doyenne establishes an indifferent personality while viewing the main monitor.

Marie and the rest of the Victress members grin knowingly as the former whispers, "Ay que preciosa!"

During Virago's alteration of its flight to pursue the two robots, Virgil fiercely stares at the Harbinger as he firmly shouts, "Anemone!"

Anemone implements a blank expression while slanting her head left until discovering the reason Virgil called her name via registering the inactivity of Alpha's arms. After that, the beauty brings her sights to her controls again with her head's stance repaired as she utters in an argumentative way, "I thought you wanted me to cover your back! I have no idea how to use a sword!"

Virgil hastily rebuttals. "You'll figure it out! I got 100% faith in you! Plus, you've always been superior at combat than me! It's the only thing I can never hope to match you in!"

A vague shade of red etches itself onto Anemone's face prior to the chick collecting her bearings and angrily comments, "Even though I doubt that, I'll accept the compliment and the responsibility! You stink at multitasking either way, so I have to be in charge of fighting!"

Virgil softly laughs, however, soon is plagued by worry thanks to depicting the Harbinger begin making an effort in separating itself from Alpha through planting both hands onto the crimson Mech's sternum.

Valon brims tenacity as the Harbinger struggles to push off Alpha. "I can't deny this is turning into something real exciting for me! If you manage to drive me to it, I may go into Overdrive!"

Virgil narrows his eyes from suspicion while thinking, "That doesn't sound good..."

Concurrently, Anemone hesitantly tinkers with her controls, causing Alpha's arms to faintly move, and eventually goes for an attack via wildly swinging the right weapon upward as it strikes both of the Harbinger's limbs at a diagonal angle.

Valon's partially dumbfounded by the assault until grinning enthusiastically. "Okay then!" The male swiftly has the Harbinger join its hands and administers a Double Axe Handle to the top of Alpha's head. "Let's exchange blows!"

Alpha's pilots immediately comply with Valon's declaration, despite the hit it received, as the robot launches a huge onslaught of slashes and starts leaving numerous dents along the Harbinger.

In conclusion, Valon changes his mind about battling Alpha head-on while slipping towards the right, utilizing the fact that his adversary is continually traveling with stupendous agility, and glances at the afflicted areas of the Harbinger. "That's a first!"

Hearing Valon's statement, Sebastian steers his focus to Harper and Kairi as curiosity is portrayed, seated at the moment to withstand the cruiser's rapid mobility. "Why did he say that?"

Harper replies as he analyzes the close-up image that's issued by the monitors of the Mechs. "He must be referring to the Harbinger's physical endurance. I kind of mentioned it earlier. It's tough to apply a single shred of damage to the Harbinger. All past attempts during the development process were ineffective. It took an immense amount of money to simply mold it into the form it presently contains."

Sebastian asks with a hint of criticism added, "What the hell is it made of?!"

Harper gazes at Sebastian out of the corner of his eyes. "I'm sorry. Divulging that information to you would brand me as a traitor to Earth 03." He returns his vision to the display. "Solely know that it's extraordinary that Jet 4 has the power to do something against it." Harper emanates a wary demeanor. "What happened that granted it? Can you tell me, Virgil?"

Alpha abruptly adjusts its trajectory to chase after the Harbinger while persisting its flailing of both arms due to Anemone's inexperience with the machine's changes as Virgil becomes annoyed a little and harshly remarks, "You're gonna' exhaust yourself too fast if you keep that up! Wait 'til we get close enough to A True Villain!"

Anemone retorts with ferocity. "I'm trying to find out how to properly stop its movements! Only an idiot would plainly let go of the controls and pray the appendages drape down without accidentally slamming against Alpha!"

Virgil nods, demonstrating a pensive attitude, and temporarily observes the ceiling. "Very true." The teenager views the Harbinger again. "My bad. Anyhow, we've almost reached him. Might as well continue attacking."

Anemone glares at Virgil via tilting her person towards the right. "Decide already!"

Suddenly, the Harbinger navigates itself to confront Alpha prior to quickly ascending in avoidance as this invokes an amused behavior from Virgil while uttering with a laid-back tone. "Fine, take a break. It looks like Valon's scared of you, which is perfectly normal."

An irritated scowl is instantly summoned to Anemone's face while fixing her positioning.

Simultaneously, Valon communicates with Virgil in accordance to the glasses-wearing gentleman's previous declaration, arrogance radiating from him. "You're incredibly wrong! Sure, I'm reliant on the Harbinger for this sort of combat, but I've overcome trials and seen many gruesome shit that you can't possibly wrap your brain around!" The Harbinger ceases its escalation. "It's obvious that you're fairly green from the recklessness you've shown! A seasoned veteran is aware of what steps are needed to guarantee victory! Every tactic has to be calculated and the most efficient is the one that's usually deployed! If you even possessed an ounce of that, you would've allowed that blue ship to crash before! That could've saved you from this current circumstance, although I wager the fools in the craft weren't going to follow through with it!"

Virgil halts Alpha's progression, angling it to confront the Harbinger, with wrath surfacing. "You have no clue what you're talking about! I wouldn't have gotten involved if I wasn't certain of Uncle Tate's intention!" The Caucasian pushes the controls so Alpha could hurriedly soar towards the Harbinger.  "I've done my best to modeled myself after him! He's the greatest captain Earth 03 has!"

Harper watches Alpha, feeling pride towards Virgil, and tightly clenches his hands until noting Virago striving to catch up to the crimson entity.

As if reading Harper's mind, Kairi sternly shouts at Sebastian and the Bridge's crew, "No slowing down! Victress are still planning to contend with Valon Maximus! Is this all that can be expected from the Syndicate?!"

The Syndicate members exhibit aggravation in unison prior to putting everything they have for the cruiser to narrow the gap from the Harbinger's location while Sebastian fervently answers Kairi's inquiry with his eyes fixed upon their destination, "Hell nah!"

Harper chuckles amidst thinking, wielding his sight towards his sister, "I swear... Why doesn't she have my job? She's excellent at rallying people."

In the meantime, the Harbinger reciprocates Alpha's speedy advancement with its own and soon collide again. This leads to the white machine in gripping onto its foe's arms that were no longer being thrown around, pinning the limbs against Alpha's midsection, as Valon snobbishly informs to the duo commandeering the robot, "Human error is what results in major defeat during periods of war! An excellent soldier is devoid of emotions! That's the lone method available for you to win here! Without it, you're doomed to failure!"

Virgil defiantly responds. "I'm familiar with failing! I'm not afraid of it anymore! If I were, I can't achieve freedom!"

Anemone hears Virgil's words as she struggles to make Alpha's appendages break through the Harbinger's grasp before keying upon the option that previously demonstrated a design of two crossed swords with a pair of rifles in the same pose and is quite intrigued by it.

Not long after, the hilt of the wings rapidly switch their placement via multiple parts of the objects morphing around to forge a slit for their alteration towards the tool's side, Alpha maintaining its hold on them during that. In addition, the weapon's upper region split similar to how Omega does when utilizing Suta's aura as this ultimately concludes with both resembling a Buster Rifle.

Virgil and Anemone are speechless at the wings new transformation with their jaw dropped significantly. Eventually gathering his wits, the blue-eyed character snaps his attention to Anemone by navigating his head eastward as he urgently comments, "You can get him now!"

Anemone blinks a couple of times while letting Virgil's statement sink in until manipulating the controls accordingly so both rifles are pointed at the Harbinger's abdomen from a diagonal stance, which has the two directed inward. Following that, the tools emit their own aura that accumulates mainly at the tip as the young lady promptly fires them upon their target.

Valon's swiftly consumed by astonishment due to the Harbinger's emergency alarm echoing throughout the cockpit as its armor slowly begins melting. "Impossible! The Harbinger is composed of a star's core! Nothing any living creature is able to wield should be capable of breaching it at all!"

Virgil raises his left eyebrow from curiosity amidst possessing his vision back towards the Harbinger and mumbles, "Did he just say what I think he said...? A star's core?"

Sebastian, having listened to Valon's outburst, draws his concentration to Harper with an inquisitive conduct.

Harper grits his teeth, anger established, while vaguely remarking as he refrains from looking at Sebastian since he's aware why the individual's presently viewing him, "That asshole! He shouldn't be spouting confidential information like that! It doesn't matter that he's betrayed Earth 03! That's simply thoughtless of him!"

The Harbinger abruptly crafts a decent sum of space from Alpha via releasing its clutches of the machine's arms, using the duo blasts striking its torso to aid in that. Afterwards, the white robot slips away from the attack's path while Valon briefly inspects the substantial damage that was left prior to speaking with his focus towards Alpha once more, glee expelling from his demeanor. "The sole way that this is happening must be... Yes, it has to be that! I never imagined the Board of Directors digging so deep into the funds to try a second time, especially considering neither the Lacertas or the Taurians have been conquered! They really want to have something that not even a bunch of Terminators can't contend with!"

Anemone detains her shooting of the pair of riffles, staring at the Harbinger with animosity. "He couldn't be talking about our Board of Directors, right, V?!"

Virgil grows quiet as he mentally processes, "There's very little anyone knows concerning A True Villain. The stuff I found out were that he's from our planet and he did something heinous enough to warrant his history to be kept under wraps. I suspected high officials to have every detail about him accessible to them, but that's practically the same as no Intel existing. They got their reasons for making it so secretive." Determination encompasses him while thinking, "I wanna' learn what that is though!"

Anemone shows a faint amount of worry thanks to Virgil's lack of communication, however, isn't permitted the chance to discuss it upon registering Valon unprecedentedly laughing and hastily gazes at the Harbinger with criticism portrayed.

Valon, containing his eyes shut for a bit, persists his expressing of enjoyment before menacingly declaring with his posture bent forth while lowering his head a tad, "If it is the product of Earth 03's efforts, I'll snatch it from them too!"

The Harbinger's entire body commences brimming a white aura that blankets miles of space, stunning the nearby spectators.

Valon continues his speech as he reverts his vision to Alpha. "You're going to discover why the Harbinger doesn't have anything like a gun or sword! Overdrive invokes the power of a star that will annihilate everything it touches!" The guy suddenly has the Harbinger fly towards Alpha, diminishing the gap in mere seconds. "Let's see if you can take the heat!"

Alpha quickly counters the Harbinger with another shot of its rifles once Anemone stretched both arms onward fully, only succeeding in reducing the Harbinger's velocity this time.

Because of that, Virgil forces Alpha to descend so the Harbinger wouldn't crash into it and then hurriedly steers it to sustain his sight on the enemy while Anemone ensures that the weapon's keep firing.

The Harbinger withstands the onslaught while propelling itself towards Alpha again after a sharp turn of its being, causing the anterior to currently face upward from Virgil's point of view. A few instances later, the foe rapidly twists itself around to properly confront Alpha the moment the two are nearby one another and slams both hands onto the crimson machine's sternum with so much strength that Alpha's hurled backwards.

As that transpires, Virgil and Anemone strive to retain their composure, compliments of the fact that the afflicted sector is where their cockpit resides while witnessing slight damage left on Alpha. Despite the effect their opponent had, the duo aren't deterred whatsoever while delivering one more blast from both rifles without stopping Alpha's movement.

The Harbinger clashes with the beams again, Valon passionately exclaiming, "Glad that my love tap didn't suck out all your confidence!" He promptly depletes the division between his robot and Alpha until having the Harbinger wraps its arms around the adversary, constricting Alpha while cancelling out its assault. "Here's a congratulatory hug! Sorry if it stings!"

Alpha wiggles within the Harbinger's embrace, its metal body generating sparks from it steadily melting. Afterwards, to get away from their present predicament, Anemone switches the weapons form back to their sword state as that guarantees her minimal risk of harming Alpha. This is because of the dame stabbing both blades into the Harbinger's posterior with everything she has so the attack could penetrate the white Mech.

Valon deviates his attention to his rear via navigating his head eastward, listening to the tearing noise that's resounding. Soon after that, the gentleman drops his focus a tad from keying on the two tools of combat piercing through the bottom area of his seat while fairly surprised. "Damn! About a meter higher and I'd be skewered like a kebab!" Valon peers skyward with suspicion displayed and nonchalantly comments, "Actually, not really. The whole thing would have me resemble a pancake thanks to the power of its impact. Now I wonder." The pink-eyed fellow directs his concentration to Alpha as he enthusiastically utters, "You believe you can help me answer that?!"

Randomly, the Harbinger relinquishes its hold of Alpha prior to embedding a mighty headbutt upon the machine's star, using the force of that strike in creating some room.

Virgil retaliates by making Alpha ram its forehead against the Harbinger's amidst Anemone pulling the swords out of it. Immediately after, the weapons chance into riffles as Alpha shoves its feet onto the Harbinger's torso and positions itself sufficiently to contain an upright stance, which ends up situating them adjacently from Valon's perspective, while ready to shoot at the center of its legs' placement. Meanwhile, the spiky-haired lad tenaciously retorts with his person contorted ahead. "Definitely!"

Alpha hastily fires its rifle, causing it to be launched backwards, and ultimately finds itself drawing close to Virago. Following that, the brown vessel's bow is struck by Alpha, however, this doesn't bother its passengers as the craft gives the robot support for it to persist its onslaught while going towards the Harbinger.

Valon's quite impressed while experiencing a strong force pushing the Harbinger southward from Alpha. "This is the best you're able to manage with the Harbinger at Overdrive! I simply have to wait you out! Not as if there's such a thing as infinite fuel or whatever you might be utilizing to commandeer that machine! Also, I have my clothes fitted with oxygen on the off chance anything like this would occur!" He points his left hand to where the Harbinger was punctured by Alpha. "Space automatically possesses a grander level of threat, so I secured that I wouldn't get too carried away with depending on the Harbinger's durability.""

Virgil chuckles in amusement. "You'd be right had your presumption earlier been totally accurate!"

Valon's eyes widen as he contentedly smiles. "You're kidding! Are you implying that you're jet isn't forged from a star?!"

Virgil slants his head westward. "Process my words for a moment! It's obvious what granted us the capability of matching the Harbinger! You're solely missing the mark a little!"

Valon scoffs with intensity demonstrated. "Why don't you give me a hint?! Clearly, you don't want to be straight-up with me for whatever reason!"

Virgil smirks, restoring his head's angling. "It's a habit of mine to mess with folks! Perhaps, if you just asked the right questions, I'd quit teasing you and tell you!"

Valon shakes his head. "Screw it! I don't appreciate getting jerked around!" The black-haired character attempts to have the Harbinger progress towards Alpha and Virago, although is prevented by the rifles abruptly increasing the output to their assault.

Then, Alpha leaps off Virago to station itself right in front of the Harbinger with its weapons digging into the opposing Mech and notably starts breaking through its armor.

That results in Valon exhibiting a mild quantity of nervousness, pulling himself rearward, while muttering, "Uh... This isn't how I envision stuff would turn out..." The male's quickly shrouded by the aqua light entering the Harbinger from the pair of rifles as he reflects on his past, speaking a bit louder so Virgil could hear. "I only wanted to do more than merely serve others."

Virgil's baffled as he instills his posterior to his seat.

Valon doesn't falter his speech in the slightest amidst sensing his flesh peel off with his attire. "I never desired to be a soldier. The thought of becoming one brought a lot of turmoil, even after the effort I put in convincing myself that it was the correct path to embark in. I hated them for it and that's why I caused this much trouble. It made me feel better about all the shit I had to bear."

Anemone shifts her sight to Virgil, radiating a bewildered demeanor, and thinks, "He kinda' reminds me of Virgil. Their method plainly differs, but maybe..."

While Anemone dwells inside her mind, Virgil depicts Valon's final seconds as he barely detects laughter from the criminal until an enormous explosion is released. This would have left massive damage upon Alpha, however at the last moment, Virago swooped in and shielded the Mech via bringing it within the hull before hurriedly traversing towards the right.

During that, the tail end of Virago is caught by the powerful eruption, leading to the alarm system to echo as Doyenne scans her surroundings with determination flowing. "Keep it together! We'll concern ourselves with that once we're home free!"

The Victress personnel follow Doyenne's orders without hesitation, and after a while, succeed in escaping the expanding destruction. With that, a big sigh of relief is expelled by everyone inside the Bridge as the Virago persists its alerting of the damage it suffered.

Eve emanates annoyance while gazing upward with her being bent forward due to her gripping Tessa's post. "Fine, we get it, shut up!"

Doyenne giggles from Eve's outburst prior to aiming her attention to Marie as she casually talks, although has her voice raised so the Hispanic can hear her. "Contact Lacey to gain a status report!"

Marie sharply nods and begins tinkering with her monitor while cheerfully say, "Lacey! Me escucha! Doyenne wants-"

Lacey haphazardly interrupts Marie in a strained tone, desperation apparent with a commotion transgressing from the background. "Marie...! We have a problem...!"

Marie instantly panics while blurting with both hands planted on her microphone to listen to Lacey better, "Que?! What's wrong?!"

Seriousness shows itself upon Doyenne, compliments of Marie's recent behavior, as she fully faces her companion since the brunette was previously poised sideways.

Lacey tries responding, however, screams in pain instead until communication is cut off.

Marie's engulfed by terror and hastily directs her concentration towards Doyenne. "Lacey's in trouble!"

The Bridge's crew are shocked at the revelation before Doyenne urgently diverts her vision to Eve while both firmly exclaim, "I'm gonna' check it out!" The two females immediately grin at each other.

At the same time, Gabriela gingerly laughs as she's standing near the exit with her hands united behind her and softly remarks, "It's funny when they synchronize." The beauty focuses onto Fey, who's not that far from her right. "We're tagging along, right?"

Fey swiftly veers herself towards the doorway and commences to march with substantial speed once it opened. "We're leading. I was falling asleep, waiting for action that I could sink my teeth into."

Gabriela smirks while moderately mimicking Fey's mobility as she tauntingly utters, "You a vampire now? Who knew." She gleefully giggles.

*Scene Change*

Doyenne's group eventually arrive at the hangar as they promptly learn that Alpha is confronting Callahan while both are in the heart of the room. Thanks to that, the quartet are greatly astonished while the pale femme inquires, "What's Crest Callahan doing here?!"

Lacey, being held captive via Callahan having his right arm enveloping her neck, looks at Doyenne through the corner of her left eye and feverishly yells, "Doyenne!"

Callahan tightens his hold on Lacey, forcing the mechanic to gag, while wielding the Glock 18 with his left appendage as it's pointed at Lacey's head.

Eve becomes enraged as she readies herself to challenge Callahan, although is detained by some noise from the left of the hanger's entrance.

In conclusion, the four individuals investigate and discern that the other mechanics are sprawled across the floor as this invokes worry out of them.

Gabriela's the first to speak while rushing towards the downed members. "Hey, are you alright?!" The hazel-eyed dame soon reaches her friends as she analyzes their condition, discovering gunshot wounds upon their limbs, which they're favoring to minimize the blood flowing out.

Afterwards, the green-haired woman who argued with Anemone in the past painstakingly peers at Gabriela, lying on her front, as frustration is established. "Why do people always ask that dumb question?! If we were okay, we wouldn't be-"

Gabriela smacks her right hand over the petite character's mouth via contorting sufficiently and dully comments, "I should've known to pick someone besides you for that. You basically answered me though, so it wasn't a complete mistake." She removes her appendage from the jumpsuit-endowed female while crouching to alleviate pressure because of her initial stance. "Explain what went down, Chloe."

Chloe issues a scrutinizing expression, lowering the volume of her voice. "Are you sure we have the luxury to go over the details?" The chick switches her attention to the left, considering that's where Callahan has Lacey restrained.

Gabriela views the spot Chloe's staring prior to demonstrating a hint of confidence. "You might as well. The atmosphere dictates that, one way or another, craziness is about to be unleashed."

Silence temporarily consumes the vicinity while Callahan maintains his vision set towards Alpha.

Concurrently, Eve inches onward to gradually reduce the gap from Callahan as Fey does the same with the former fiercely shouting, "You here to finish our fight?! Took your sweet time, don't you think?!"

Chloe grows tense, having her gaze towards Eve. "Is she who he was referring to? Right before Virago permitted Virgil and Anemone through the Docking Sector, Crest fell from an opening that randomly popped up at the ceiling. He then began telling us that he's in search of somebody, and if we interfere, we'd regret it." The light-skinned individual glances at her injuries. "This is what he did as proof of that."

With Chloe's speech done, Callahan replies to Eve's inquiry, "Not even close. Killing any of you other than the Legendary Star is a waste of my ability. You two confirmed that in Lionsten."

Eve and Fey grit their teeth while profoundly angry as they can barely resist charging at Callahan in retaliation.

Doyenne quickly aids the pair in controlling their emotions via first making her right hand grab Fey's left shoulder since she's nearer while maneuvering herself towards Eve to repeat that action with the use of her left limb. Accomplishing that, the beauty locates herself ahead of her comrades and sternly asks, "In that case, why did you infiltrate us?"

Virgil suddenly communicates through the speakers Alpha possesses. "Do you wanna' battle Suta again? Unfortunately, he's not around."

The Victress members are all awestruck by the fact that Virgil is talking to Callahan in such a manner.

Callahan vaguely displays confusion until realization sinks in a tad as he calmly states, "You're the guy he called V. I see that you've upgraded from a jet to a giant robot." A solemn attitude plagues him. "I expected him to give me a tough time, but I guess we aren't meant to renew our scuffle just yet."

Virgil emits suspicion amidst faintly leaning forth. "What are you here for then?"

Callahan bluntly rebuttals. "To kidnap a certain person. She wields the qualities that I presently need at my disposal."

Everyone's eyes widen, not anticipating that to be Callahan's reasoning, prior to Virgil tightening his grip on his controls and gently places his rear onto his seat once more. "You said SHE. Who exactly are you after?"

Callahan mildly parts his Glock from Lacey. "I'm unaware of what her name is, but she got involved in my fight with Suta. An Asian girl with blue hair."

Anemone becomes tense while thinking with her person slumped forward and towards the left to witness Callahan, "Why me?!"

Simultaneously, Doyenne notices Callahan easing up on Lacey as she contemplates trying to trap him with her gem.

Callahan promptly explains, suspecting that Virgil would want to find out the purpose of him targeting Anemone. "I didn't appreciate her butting in. It's been haunting me that I couldn't stay true to myself."

Virgil menacingly glares at Callahan. "I won't let you."

Callahan adds a bit of tenacity to his behavior, almost smiling.
