3. Mind the cake
It was disgraceful. Rats in the room, covered in dirt, and emptied bins all over the floor. I sreamed and jumped onto the bed. Mistake. It broke in the middle, dropping me legs first through it. But it didn't stop there. My legs were wedged between the bedding, trapped so I couldn't move. I saw a crack in the floor appear; which let me just say was very dusty. A whole appeared, and I fell through. I landed somewhere in a dining room. Possible a big dinner as I landed in a cake.
"Here is your receipt. The damage repairs will be taken of your stolen credit card."
"There must be some mistake!" I pleaded, failing at holding back my tears. I straightened my back and wiped away my tears. "Have a good day sir." I said as a strutted out the hotel. The taxi was gone; obviously, and there was not a bus stop in sight. Buses, I had heard about from my friend Cassandra. She said you pay some money, and boom, wherever you want to go. It sounded pretty reasonable to me. I started in the direction of the city, sure there would be a bus there. It was pretty gross. I find out from a passerby, that firstly, I would have to wait at least 10 minutes. Then, I found out there were no seat belts! In a limo that's acceptable, but on a busy road! It wasn't sounding good. THEN I found out that whoever there was could sit NEXT to ME. While I was thinking this, a bus came. Not wanting to wait 10 minutes I jumped on. I paid the driver £10 and said, far away from here as possible. He nodded. I sat down on the muddy seat, and stared at my surroundings. It was mainly old people, but there were a few teens and elderly. It smelt dead. Where was the champagne?
I must've fallen asleep, as when I woke up, I was on a wooden bench! I found a note in my pocket from the driver saying, 'too many people were pick pocketing you and taking your jewellery' there was also a mini map. 'Oh, and you smelt to strongly of wedding cake.'
I got up and rubbed my eyes. It was very smoky in the city. I made my way to a big office building, called 'employers on point' Sounded pretty good to me. I stepped inside through the automatic doors.
"Charpae!" I heard someone call from the other end of the reception. I turned, only to see someone I absolutely hated. It was my sisters cousin in law, Tanya. She tried to represent me when I was a model. I lost 300 daily visitors to the websites from her fraud work and photographers. She ran towards me. I went to back through the doors but it was too late. She stood in front of me. "GREAT! We've been expecting you! I'll tell the boss right away!" I stared in a mix of horror and curiosity.
