2. Well this is just great......
I literally couldn't believe it. The email read;
Dear Charpae,
It has been an honour working with you, and your looks. But I'm afraid your career is over. Your old news, and I don't want that in my catalogue. Therefore, your fired. Please don't take it personally. I have considered this, and decided it was the best option. I have arranged for a Taxi to pick you up from the recepetion tomorrow evening. I am signing your last pay check tonight, which will be delivered to you in the morning. I'm sure you understand, and are grateful you stayed this long. Caitlin has taken your place.
Yours
Lorenza Carefta's letter writer.
"Oh my" I said, tears welling up behind my eyes. I held them back, just. It was my dream to be a model, it always had been, even since I was a little girl. I remember when I was 4, I put all my aunts makeup on, and danced in her wedding dress. "Caitlin?!" I said, furious that that bitc* had taken MY place. But there was nothing I could do. I was being shipped out tomorrow, probably to somewhere where they will just pity me.
*The next evening*
"Lorenzas cab is waiting for you!" I heard Leonard shout through the door. I grabbed my suitcase and opened the door. "Right this way" I followed him into the lobbie, and out into the smoky London air. There it was, the taxi I had been dreading all night. I delicately placed myself in the cab; they are usually quite dirty, and I had got my nails done only a few days ago. It smelt of smoke, which is when I realised I was not in the model world anymore. I looked around for a champagne dispenser. "Excuse me?"
"Yes"
"The champagne dispenser?" He laughed a cruel laugh.
"Your 'avin a laugh" he said. We sped of onto the busy roads, shops everywhere, people everywhere. It was a sight to behold, one I had never seen before. We got onto the motor way, and travelled towards a 'luxury' hotel. I sighed in relief. Atleast I didn't have to live in a crummy place as well as have a crummy life. We drove straight past. "Sir you've missed the turning!It's back there!" I screeched. He gave another cruel laugh. " you ain't stayin there, your stayin 'ere." I gasped in horror. The hotel we had turned into had broken bins scattered everywhere, and graffiti along the walls. The windows were splattered with mug, and the sign had fallen off the post. "I'm gonna faint..." I said as I lay my head back on the seat and closed my eyes.
I woke up a few hours latter on a lumpy bed, looking at a cheaply plastered ceiling. "I guess I really did faint." I looked in my bag, my purse was gone. " great. Just great. " I said as I lifted my self of the bed. I stared in horror at what lay before me.
