CHAPTER 6: The Start of Attraction
CHAPTER 6: The Start of Attraction
SAN
•••
The sound of my roommates alarm clock woke me up, and despite already being a morning person, hearing such a blaring noise was definitely not pleasant to have to endure so early.
"If you don't shut that thing off, I swear I'm going to kill you..." I muttered with mock-irritation, dramatically placing my pillow over my ears to block out the noise. "Hurry up!"
"I'm sorry!"
Cute...
It didn't long for the silence to return, but through the thickness of my pillow, I could hear small pattering of footsteps moving around the room with extremely haste. Assuming that he was probably gathering his clothing, a few seconds passed before I heard the sound of the bathroom door shutting, allowing me the chance to finally remove the pillow from my face. Once the shower was running, the perfect opportunity to start my workout arrived.
Hopping off my bed, I took off my shirt and began my pushups. Going through my routine, the familiar vanilla scent began to seep into the room. My thoughts traveled to how he would look in the shower, lathering himself up with his body wash on each part with tentative care.
Fuck, San...stop it.
After my long talk with Hongjoong, I realized that in the matter of only a few hours I found myself a new object of interest, a potential subject to satisfy my desires. It's been awhile since someone had even piqued my curiosity, and unfortunately enough for me, the new person was my roommate for at least the first half of the year.
Suddenly, the urge to pee came and luckily for me, the now black-haired male seemed to be done with his shower based on the sound of the water shutting off. Deciding to wait by the bathroom door, I could hear slight movement from what assumed to be him dressing himself. My curiosity only grew as I tried to picture how exactly he would dress for the first day.
Would he be in comfortable clothes like last night?
The door opened and revealed the answer. He was dressed in a simple white long sleeve shirt and a denim jacket, with matching denim jeans and white sneakers. I also noticed that he decided to wear silver earrings and rings as accessories, something I would've chose myself if I wore that ensemble. Looking at up from the top, I slowly raked my eyes down to take every inch of him before biting my lip.
Fuck.
He must've noticed as his smile dropped when seeing me. With a subtle eye roll, he spoke up. "Can you let me through? The bathroom is all yours..."
"It's about time. Unlike some people, we have classes to get to." I said with mock annoyance.
Scoffing, he brushed past me and muttered something to himself. "Asshole..."
"What was that?" I asked loudly, raising an eyebrow with genuine interest in his feisty attitude.
"I said asshole!"
A soft chuckle escaped from my lips as I entered the bathroom. "No sweetheart, the name is San."
Before I could let him respond, I closed bathroom door. I waited a couple of seconds before I heard the sound of his keys jingling and the door shutting, depicting his departure from the room.
Finally relieving myself and washing my hands, I poked my head outside of the door and checked the time on the clock.
7:05am
"Might as well shower since I'm up." I mumbled to myself.
Starting up the water, it was quick to warm up as it was already used previously, I began my usual routine. While underneath the jet stream of warmth, my mind traveled to my roommate. Noticing his stark change of appearance compared to last night made me wonder how he knew to dress so well. It was the first time I was ever so close to him, clearly able to see his facial features even better. From his brown sparkling eyes, his semi-pointed nose, and his small beauty mark underneath his left eye, all of it increased my desire to have him.
"Fuck..." I groaned, feeling my lower half start to grow at the relentless thoughts of the male flooding through my mind. I slowly grabbed my length and began pumping it, biting my lip to prevent any moans from escaping. The more I pumped, the more I began to imagine him.
On his knees...looking up at me with his doe eyes while his mouth sucked and licked on...
"Fuck.........yes..........Ugh!"
Without any warning, I came all over my hand and leaned back against the wall to catch my breath. Throughout the entire shower, I jerked off a total of three times just from mere thoughts alone of the male. Eventually, I finished my shower and stepped out, feeling utterly guilty about myself.
I sighed, mumbling sarcastically. "Wonderful..."
Quickly drying myself before delicately going through my oral and skincare routines, I walked out of the bathroom and took a glance at the clock again.
8:00 a.m
"Okay, I have time to choose an outfit." I smiled. Opening the smallest closet I've ever owned, I began rummaging through selections of outfits.
"No...no...no....no!"
Picking out my first choice, I tried it on and looked at myself in the closet mirror. "This is awful."
It took about 12 different outfit changes before I finally decided on my perfect choice: a Black silk button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up, black distressed skinny jeans with black Chelsea boots.
Glancing at the clock once more, I noticed the new time.
8:47 a.m.
"Shit, I'm going to be late!"
Not realizing how long I took to decide on an outfit, I only had a few minutes to get to my first class: Biology. The last thing I wanted was to create a bad impression with the professor already known to be extremely strict.
With my luck, I might as well accept my fate.
Asking a few students in passing for directions, I found the lecture door right in time. Without haste, I ran through the doors in a heavy pant, noticing the Professor standing by the board with a raised eyebrow before gesturing for me to take a seat silently.
Giving a quick bow of an apology, I briefly looked around for an available seat and noticed one, right next to the person who'd been on my interest list.
A small smirk grew on my face and I made my way over next to him, plopping in the seat without any hesitation. "Hi roomie."
He rolled my eyes, causing the blonde male next to him to raise an eyebrow. "Wooyoung, he's your roommate?"
Wooyoung...that's his name...
Wooyoung sighed heavily. "Unfortunately, yes... Felix, this is San. San, this is Felix."
"Nice to meet you Felix. Thank you for saying his name. Now I finally know it. Wooyoung huh..." I smirked.
You finally met Hyunjin's boyfriend...wonderful.
"Wait, you didn't know his name? How are you two even roommates?" Felix asked skeptically.
"Ahem..." Professor J cleared his throat, looking at us three skeptically.
"Sorry." Wooyoung bowed, scowling at both of us males. "Can we pause this conversation, please?"
Both of us nodded in agreement, focusing our direct attention on the lecture in front of us.
Class went be faster than expected, and the three of us walked out together. Felix was intrigued by our roommate assignment, so I decided to enlighten him on the last couple of hours.
"So...you two met yesterday and went almost 24 hours without even exchanging names?" Felix laughed. "That's so crazy."
I shrugged nonchalantly. "It was honestly not in my interest of sharing my name. Felt like too much work to do so, considering that I'd probably be in a different major than him."
"What is your major?" Wooyoung asked in a unamused tone.
"Art and Photography."
Felix grew wide eyed. "Well, that's surprising..."
"Anyways, as lovely as this conversation is, my next class starts at eleven. So I only have ten minutes to get there. I'll see you later Felix." Wooyoung smiled, making his exit to his next class.
"Bye Wooyoung! See you Wednesday!" Felix waved energetically.
"What about me? You're not going to say bye to me?" I asked playfully with a smirk.
Rolling his eyes, he ignored me and continued his way through the crowd of passing students.
Wrong move, pretty boy..
Saying my goodbyes to Felix, I followed the black-haired male from a good distance, watching him eventually find an empty stairwell. As soon as he stepped through, I grabbed the back of his jacket and pushed him inside.
"What the h-"
His voice caught as he realized it was me who pushed him. The scent of his body wash was intoxicating, but I had a focus in mind. Slowly, I backed him into a corner and leaned next to his ear, whispering softly. "I don't think you know how much I don't like people who ignore me Woo..."
"San, l-let me go..." He whispered.
I shook my head, trailing one of my fingers down my chest deliberately slow, taking my time until I reached the waistband of his jeans. "You're lucky we have to go to class, or else I'd have to show you what happens when I'm annoyed..."
Hearing his breath hitch as I stared deeply into his eyes, a small smirk grew on my face as he inched closer to my lips.
Maybe I can tease him a little...
Almost an inch away from his plump lips, he found an opening to escape from my arm cage as he ducked underneath one arm and ran upstairs without looking back. With each step he took, all I could do was chuckle and shake my head at the sight before making my way to my next class: Photography 101.
I chose my major mostly to help get more practice behind the scenes in my own workplace. Despite growing up in the world of modeling from the young age of seven, I had a deep fascination with the work that captured the essence of a photograph. I wanted to learn more about those who became the artist behind their version of art, from what they vision behind the lens to what emotions they feel is best to click the shutter button.
My class was the next building over on the first floor, allowing quick walk to my last class later today, English. It was located in the same building on the fourth floor, so a simple climb of a few staircases and I'd be earlier than the others.
Reaching my second class on time, I proceeded to take in my surroundings with excitement gleaming through my eyes. Different stations were setup with a practice camera and a blank white studio backdrop for each camera. A few students mingled inside, but as soon as they noticed my entrance, hushed whispers went around.
I sighed. Of course...they know who I am...
Brushing it off, I made my way over to an empty station and placed my back on the nearby stool, ready for the class to start.
•••
Class went by in a blur, with our Professor Min giving us our practice cameras and first assignments before leaving.
"Alright everyone, this month I need you to try and find a muse for your semester projects and create a portfolio of them. It can be anyone you want except Mr.Choi. You are dismissed."
Smirking as I heard disappointed sighs go around, I made my way out of the class and up the nearest staircase. English wasn't supposed to start in another fifteen minutes, but I wanted to get a good seat. English was a language I grew proficient in due to having to travel to the States often as a child.
Reaching the lecture hall, I made my way to the nearest seat to the front. Since I was the only one in the room at the moment, I took out my notebook and began sketching as I waited. However, it wasn't long before I noticed another student's footsteps make their appearance .
With a smirk on my face, I noticed Wooyoung at the entrance.
Well what are the odds...
He rolled his eyes before making his way past me and taking an empty seat behind. I heard him settle for a moment before I heard typing.
"Yes!" He silently cheered to himself, instantly catching my attention.
Turning around in my seat, I raised an eyebrow curiously. "What are you doing? Class hasn't started yet."
"Not like it's any of your business, but I'm trying to work on a personal thing. Time is of the essence." Be muttered while typing once again nonchalantly.
"Right...Good luck with whatever it is." I muttered back playfully, focusing my attention back to my sketching.
3...2...1...
Wooyoung sighed, eventually giving in and telling me. "I'm looking for part-time work."
My ear perked up and quickly, I turned back around. "Really? Someone like you wants to work?"
"And what exactly do you mean by 'someone like you'?
"I mean, you dress as if you're loaded with cash and you're way too pretty to be sweating. So yeah, that's what I mean." I shrugged.
Noticing a faint blush on his cheeks, he rolled his eyes. "Looks doesn't tell you everything, San..."
"Well..." I paused, noticing students beginning to file inside the room, "what did you apply for so far?"
"Retail associate, a waiter, becoming a tutor, and right now, a front desk receptionist."
Maybe he could be one of my models...for school and work...
I just hummed before turning back around. "I can see the retail one for sure, based on your clothing choices. Like I said, good luck."
A smirk grew on my lips again as I mentally made a note to myself.
Don't worry Wooyoung...I'll keep an eye on you...
