Birdy is seen flying in space as ship wreckage along with a flower crown of sorts floats by as the little mechanical bird flies past the viewers briefly until Strike appears as it uses its shield to block missiles before shooting at the enemies as the camera shows Unicorn turning into its Destroy Mode before the title appears as both Gundams appear beside each other with Strike aiming its rifle while Unicorn had its Beam Saber and I-Field Shield out.

In a torn battleground, Kira, Athrun and Luka in their pilot suits were each holding their helmets with Luka looking at the viewers with a determined glare.

Murrue is seen with her hand holding the back of her hair possibly from the wind while Natarle looks back before the next scene shows Mu La Flaga and Rau Le Creuset.

Two scenes show Yzak who grinned while the Duel was fighting and Dearka who clenched his fist as the Buster fires its beam weapon. Nicol is also seen sitting with his arm on his leg while the Blitz was engaging in combat.

Athrun is seen with his arm outward as the Aegis changes from its MA Form to its MS Form before the last three scenes show Celia who was in a maid uniform and had her hands clasped together near her dress as the Penelope was seen firing its rifle before bringing out its Beam Saber to slash at the enemy before the other scene shows Shen who sent a kiss towards the viewers as her Ventorus generates a Psycho-Field around itself and Nox who had his right hand clenching into a fist as he grinned with an ambitious smirk as his Silver Bullet brought out its Beam Sabers to fight against the Strike and Unicorn Destroy Mode.

In the background, a certain winged Gundam with its wings shining is seen while Kira and Lacus are about to embrace despite their silhouettes being naked before the scene shows Unicorn in both its normal form and Destroy Mode as Luka who was crying was hugged by Miriallia and Cagalli who had smiles of comfort as they hugged him from the front and behind.

Scenes show Cagalli who held her machine gun and Lacus who was with her Haro until the next one shows three colored naked silhouettes, one being red, the second being orange, and the third yellow as Kira sheds tears while Luka roars with fire in his eyes as they turn from magenta to red due to the NT-D while the Strike is seen trying to protect an escort ship before it gets blasted.

Strike faces Duel and Buster as Unicorn and another Gundam from a certain Netflix Gundam movie fight the Penelope and Rau's silver CGUE before it shows the Silver Bullet Suppressor crossing blades with its Beam Saber against Unicorn's Beam Saber as Strike boosts forth to assist Unicorn while Penelope fights the unknown Gundam that will soon be found and has the words Ξ on it's forehead while the Ventorus fights a pink version of the Strike.

The Archangel is seen flying alongside Mu's Mobius until the next scenes show Unicorn and Strike ready for battle as Kira and Luka in their pilot suits look up in determination before the screens that had "ABORT" next to "BRAKES", "THROTTLE" and "CATAPULT" became "CLEAR" while the "ABORT" screens turn into "LAUNCH".

While Strike launches out of the catapult with the wire being unplugged from its back as it activates its Phase Shift Armor while its Aile Striker activates as well, Unicorn launches from the very top of the ship as it turns into its Destroy Mode, fighting a certain Black Unicorn Gundam as the two were both in their Destroy Modes before the last scene shows Strike flying alongside the Archangel and Mobius while the other two Gundams clash.

Activating one of the Beam Tonfas, Luka made the Unicorn go forward and attack the GINNs and the Penelope.

[Gh! Open fire! Shoot at it!] The leader roared as his and the other members' GINNs aim their rifles at the white Mobile Suit as they began to rain bullets onto it, but not before they gained shocked expressions as the bullets had no effect as the Unicorn managed to slice the gun and the left wing off of Matthew's GINN as the ZAFT Mobile Suit managed to dodge the Unicorn's thrust and side slash.

'Holy hell!' Matthew mentally spoke in shock, 'Who is this guy?! A Coordinator?! Doesn't matter, he's out to kill us, which means he's our enemy!' Just as when he brought out his sword, the Unicorn jumped into the air before making itself be able to fly and float in the air with the use of its boosters and jetpack as the GINNs and Penelope look up in astonishment.

"What speed...whoever's piloting the Unicorn must have good reactions!" Celia said in an awed tone. The only ones who can react fast in battle were herself and her master, which meant... 'He must be another one like us,' Celia thought.

Firing the Beam Magnum again, Luka began to rain down blasts onto the GINNs and Penelope before it started to click.

"Huh?" Luka looked to see that on one of his screens he ran out of ammo as Miriallia pointed out, "There's two clips on the back! Grab one quick!" Acting quickly, Luka had the Unicorn reach for its hip armor as it brought out a clip for the rifle as it loaded it before continuing its assault.

[This guy's persistent!] The one beside Matthew shouted. The Unicorn had them running for their money, what a total embarrassment! They were Coordinators, the superior version of "humanity", but in terms of power, it was all too clear on who was really superior here. Just then, Matthew would see the two Mobile G-weapons and Miguel's GINN at the factory where they were held.

[Lieutenant Bahamut!] Matthew called out to the maid of Nox, [Leave him to us! You go on and help our comrades! We'll rodeo this white horse!]

Having a look of sympathy, Celia replied, [Very well. I will accept the mission. Forgive me, your sacrifices will never be forgotten.]

[Don't mention it. This is for ZAFT.]

[...For ZAFT.]

With that, the Penelope took flight for its destination towards where the three Mobile Suits were as Miriallia gasped, "That's where Kira and the others are!"

Hearing that rang alarms in Luka's head, if that thing were to reach there, there's no telling what kind of carnage will happen! "Crap! Then we gotta get there! Full speed ahead!" Luka shouted as he boosted the Unicorn forward before someone shouted, [Not so fast, Unicorn!]

The three GINNs cornered the white Mobile Suit as they shot bullets onto the ground, creating smoke, to which not even the Unicorn's sensors can see through it. A brief and tense silence was broken as a flash of white sparked in Luka's mind as he boosted backwards, avoiding a slice which was aimed for the cockpit. "Miri, hold onto something!" Was the only warning Luka gave before one GINN managed to kick his Mobile Suit from behind as Miriallia screamed as the other GINN grabbed the right arm while the GINN from earlier grabbed the left one.

[We got him!]

[Good! Hold him there! I'm coming!]

Matthew boosted his GINN towards Luka and Miriallia who were in the Unicorn, widening his eyes in fear, Luka tried to look for an ejection button, but much to his horror: There wasn't one!

"Oh God...!" Miriallia started to cry in fear as the GINN came homing in like a dart heading towards the red dot. 'No...' Luka began as memories of the current life he has in Heliopolis and the ones he had with Cagalli flashed in his mind, 'I can't....I refuse....I made a promise...that I'd find out who I am, NO MATTER WHAT!' Suddenly, for a brief moment, Luka's magenta eyes turned a blood red as the Unicorn emitted a red energy as the ZAFT pilots were caught by surprise.

[What the...?!]

[It's glowing...?!]

The Unicorn let out a literal roar that sounded like a mixture of Luka's normal, high pitch and deep voice as the White Beast Of Possibility broke free from its bounds before grabbing the GINN on its right to throw it towards the leader.

[AAAAAAAAGH!] The two men screamed as they were sent flying towards the forest before the Unicorn proceeded to smash the one that kicked and grabbed its left arm apart before throwing it up in the air and shooting it with its Beam Magnum. The red glow faded as Luka's eyes regained their normal color at the same time as he gasped and looked out of breath as Miriallia looked concerned.

"Luka? Are you...okay?" She asked her crush and future shared lover.

"...Yeah...I'm fine."

What had happened just now? Although brief, Luka had felt as if a surge of power had called out to the Unicorn which made the white Mobile Suit respond to his emotions and pleas. 'Unicorn...what are you, really?' The orphan wondered before a screech from a certain Gundam interrupted his thoughts.

"It's that Mobile Suit again!" Miriallia exclaimed. The Penelope was on its way towards the place where Kira and their friends are supposedly at. There they noticed three Mobile Suits in the area: A GINN, and the two Mobile Suits they saw, the one that barely had any weapons was struggling to walk as the GINN and the other G-Weapon dubbed the Aegis were seen standing in front of the Mobile Suit that was currently trying to walk right.

"Something's wrong. That one's not combat ready yet!" Luka said. He knew that this wasn't his battle, but, he couldn't just let someone, even if it's only a stranger, get killed by the ones that attacked his home. But how?

"Luka," Miri began, "There should be a communications button here. Maybe we can try and help the person inside while letting him or her know that we're coming!"

"...Yeah...that can work! Thanks, Miri!" Luka thanked as he gave her a kiss on the cheek, making her blush as he got to work on the settings for establishing communications. Once done, he made sure the volume was loud enough to hear, on the caller's name, it was labeled X-105 STRIKE. "Hello? Strike? Strike, can you hear me?! If you can, please respond! We're coming to help!"

The person piloting the Strike answered, but the voice was something they didn't expect.

[U-Uh, Luka?! Is that you?!]

Miriallia gasped as Luka was stunned. The one who answered from the Strike...was Kira himself.

"KIRA?!"

As the factory exploded, the Aegis and Strike flew out of the smoke and landed, the latter doing tiptoes while trying to walk right while the other Gundam landed behind Miguel's GINN.

"Athrun!" Miguel said in relief.

[Rusty's been killed,] Athrun said as Miguel was in disbelief, [One of the Earth Forces' officers has boarded the weapon!]

The Strike still struggled to walk right as Sai, Tolle and Kuzzey ran along with the other evacuees. As Murrue did a quick scan over the area, Kira saw his friends who were running for their lives.

"It's them! It's my friends!" Kira shouted worriedly, 'But where are Luka and Miriallia?' He wondered mentally.

Growling in anger, Miguel fired his Mobile Suit's gun at the Strike who was hopping before he puts it away and draws out its sword.

"Then I guess I'll just have to take it back. Make sure the Mobile Suits get back to the commander!" Miguel ordered as he goes towards the Strike while Athrun was in thought.

'Kira...no...there's no way it was him, he wouldn't be here.' He said as the blue-haired Coordinator tried to get rid of his doubts by working on the M.O.S. Before the charging GINN attacked with its saber, Murrue made the Strike jump up. Upon landing though, Kira fell into her chest due to the impact. "You need to move right now! Do you want to die?!" Murrue shouted.

"I-I'm sorry!" Kira apologized while he got back up as the GINN advanced towards the Strike again. He cried out as the enemy Mobile Suit jumped in the air ready split the Gundam in half before Murrue pressed a button that caused the grey Mobile Suit to gain colors, which were the traditional white, blue, and red. Upon contact, red sparks are seen as the Strike crossed its arms in a block to defend itself from the GINN.

"The hell?!" Miguel shouted in disbelief while Kira looked on in awe, "Hey, how did you just do that?!" He asked Murrue to which she responded with a painful grunt.

"Bastards! What kind of armor is that?! Why can't I break through?!"

[Each of these things is equipped with a sort of Phase Shift Armor. Once its activated, the GINN's saber is useless.] Athrun explained as Miguel landed while the Aegis gains a red color and fires its Head Vulcans at some missiles and a car that had the missiles. "Time for you to get out of here, Athrun! Get back to the ship, now! Miguel told him as he looked back at the Strike one last time before leaving for the Vesalius as Miguel tries again to take down the Strike while Murrue fires the VGs on its head at the GINN, missing said Mobile Suit in turn.

'This thing isn't ready!' Kira frowned mentally. He knew the Strike's OS wasn't completed, therefore, the MS itself was still incomplete. "Some pretty armor won't save you!" Miguel laughed arrogantly as he continued his attack. "You're just not good enough!" He continued as he sends the Strike towards a building.

Amidst the fighting, Kira notices his friends and the other civilians continuing to run to safety as he gasps. "I shouldn't have expected better! After all, you're just a filthy Natural!"

This was it, it was do or die. Kira had to make a decision now, and a decision he made. Acting quickly, he pressed a button which caused the Strike to dodge while pulling back a thruster to make the Gundam tackle the GINN. Much to the surprise of Murrue and Kira's friends and Miguel's disbelief.

"How did—" Murrue asked the young Coordinator before a call came as it was on the monitor. "Answer it! It might be help!" Kira nodded as he pressed the button to answer the call. Boy, was he in for a big surprise.

[Hello? Strike? Strike, can you hear me?! If you can, please respond! We're coming to help!]

Kira gasped. It was Luka! And much to his surprise, Miriallia was with him too!

[Can you hear us?!]

"U-Uh, Luka? Is that you?!" He asked.

[Kira?!] Luka's surprised voice was heard. [Is that you?!]

"That's what I asked!" Words couldn't express how happy he was to hear their voices, taking this chance, Murrue inquired, "Where are you two?"

[We're outside of the hangar where the white Mobile Suit was, but anyway, Kira! You need to get out of there! That Mobile Suit that attacked us earlier, the Revolution Dragon, it's headed your way!] Miriallia warned. That got the duo's attention but with different reasons: For Kira, the Penelope was a Mobile Suit that looked WAY out of his league. For Murrue Ramius? The hangar was where the Unicorn was. Could ZAFT have already taken it? Or perhaps...

[We noticed you guys were moving kinda sluggish earlier, is the OS not complete?] Luka asked.

"Y-Yeah," Kira nodded, "The Strike's a sitting duck! There are innocent people all around us! If we're gonna pilot something like this, we gotta put it to use!" He said as he began to work on the OS.

Back at the Unicorn, Luka was also updating the white Mobile Suit's own systems since it's been a long time since it was updated and someone had piloted the soon-to-be revealed Gundam.

"I just got done updating the systems on mine, but, don't worry! We're coming for you, Kira, just hang on!" Luka told his friend as Kira was a little confused, [Um...how exactly are you going to help?]

Luka smirked, "Let's just say that this is a repeat of that robot fighting game on your birthday."

Kira was still confused, but before he can ask, the GINN he was fighting against got back on its feet slowly. "I gotta go! That GINN's getting up!"

[Don't worry! You get fixing on that OS and fight that guy! Me and Miri here are gonna try to reach you before that other Mobile Suit arrives!] Luka said before both boys ended their communication while Kira got to work.

"This is insanity!" Kira began, "How do they expect to control a complex machine with such an outdated OS?!"

"It's still in the middle of development! It's not meant to be ready!" Murrue said.

As his GINN stood up, Miguel growled in anger, "You little...!"

"Let me take control, please!" Kira asked as Murrue moved while the brown-haired boy got to typing as he worked on the OS, with Murrue looking in curiosity and wonder.

'This kid...'

As the GINN charged towards the Strike, Kira began shooting at it with the Vulcan Guns as Miguel tries to land a hit, only to get sent flying by a punch.

"No no no!" Miguel yelled as he lands onto another building.

"First we take the calibrations and reset the zero moment point and CPG. Reroute the control module directly to the molecular ion pump. Command reconstruction on the neural linkage network. Renew meta-active field, reactivate feed forward controls. Adjust Coriolis deviation, connect to motion routines! System online! Activate!" Kira said as he completed the OS.

A/N: I'd say a new record for him to get that done, don't ya think, folks?

"What the hell just happened?! It shouldn't even be a fight!" Miguel roared in frustration as his GINN sheathes its blade before bringing out its assault rifle as the rounds hit the Strike two times. Gritting his teeth, Kira pushed forward to fly up into the sky as Miguel shoots a few times before pursuing him and Murrue up in the air before firing.

"Weapons!" Kira said out loud as he looked into the weapons system as the only weapons he had were the Vulcan Gun and Armor Schneider, which were a pair of assault knives. "An Armor Schneider? Here we go!" At this point, Kira didn't care if the Strike's weapons were knives, as long as he can take that GINN down, anything will do. The hip armor unlocks themselves as Strike gets the knives while avoiding the shots.

"Just stand still and DIE!" Miguel yelled in anger.

"We need to lead him away!" Kira said as he made the Strike take a turn before boosting towards the ZAFT soldier.

"NOWWWWWW!"

Leaping for the kill, Kira had Strike stab its knives into the right shoulder and the neck of the GINN as sparks come out of said Mobile Suit before it goes limp. "Hydra's not responding, the multi-drive system's offline!" Miguel growled as he activated the self-destruct system while he breaks out of the cockpit as he starts to hover away.

"Get back! You got to get away from the GINN—" Any words Murrue was going to say immediately went dead once she sees a certain single-horned white Mobile Suit come to the rescue as it grabs the GINN and expertly throws it up in the air before blasting it with its Beam Magnum. The explosion was luckily a distance away from the Strike and the three boys.

Standing in front of them was none other than the legendary Mobile Suit that saved many lives in the the past wars: Unicorn, «The White Beast Of Possibility».

"Holy cow...!" Kira said in amazement, his savior was the famed Mobile Suit that was said to put an end to wars! What a great honor!

"Is that...?!" Tolle began to speak with a shaky finger as Sai answered for him while taking off of his glasses as he was also amazed and trying to ask himself mentally that if he was dreaming, "Unicorn...! The legend, literally RIGHT in front of us!"

Before Kira could say his thanks, a warning alarm went off as he heard two familiar voices coming from the Unicorn.

"Luka?!/Miriallia?!" Kira and the boys spoke in surprise.

Murrue was confused too before hearing a familiar screeching sound as she saw a certain Mobile Suit who fired some missiles before yelling out, "EVERYONE GET DOWN!"

As the boys took cover, the ones in the Mobile Suits looked up to see the Penelope who flew over them as it circles around in the night sky.

"The hell is that?!" Kuzzey asked in shock. [That's the Revolution Dragon, or...whatever that thing is!] Miriallia explained.

"The Penelope."

Miriallia looked to Luka as he also explained, "RX-104FF Penelope. Named after the wife of Odysseus. Don't ask right now because she's coming towards US!" Luka yelled in panic.

""She"—? OH CRAP!" Kira yelped as he moved the Strike to dodge Celia's Beam Saber as the Unicorn shoots with its Beam Magnum, "You certainly have skill....but it lacks finesse. Funnels!" Celia said as she brings out her Funnels as they head towards the Unicorn who tosses its Beam Magnum aside and activates its Beam Tonfa on its right arm before flying towards the Penelope as the lasers shoot from all directions as Luka dodges them while crossing swords with her.

'Wow...Luka's amazing at piloting, did he train in the EA? Or...' Miri wondered, "Miri, when we get a chance, I'll drop you off." Luka told her.

"What?! But—!"

"If I keep you here with me, it'll make things harder with that Mobile Suit around. Besides, you're not wearing a pilot suit, therefore, your body can't handle G-resistance. I understand your concerns, but right now? Your safety takes top-priority."

As much as she wanted to refute, Miri knew Luka had a point. If he got shot down, she'd die too. And even when she's inside the Unicorn, her body wasn't durable enough to handle the strain from G-Resistance. Seeing her sad frown, Luka gave her a comforting smile as well as a pat on the head.

"I'll be back. I promise." He said with sincerity as he saw Sai and the other boys by one of the war shelters before the Unicorn got onto one knee as the hand got near the cockpit as it opened.

"Okay, you're good to go." Miriallia nodded as she was about to get on the Unicorn's hand, but before the cockpit closed...

"Wait."

"What—mm?!"

Kira and the boys had surprised expressions: Miriallia Haw, the tomboy of the group, had kissed Luka! It was then Tolle smirked comically as he clapped his hands slowly while Kira, Sai, and Kuzzey for the first time of their lives, snickered as they looked away from Luka's surprised expression.

'I kissed a girl...A girl kissed me...I kissed her...She kissed me...' Luka mentally said comically, his first kiss was taken! Normally he'd be happy, but what about Cagalli?! She loves him too! Separating from the kiss, Miri hugged him tightly while giving the silver-white haired male her most sweetest smiles ever, "Promise me...that you'll be okay."

Luka couldn't help but smile back, "Don't worry. I won't go down that easily." After he sets her down while the cockpit closed, Luka could hear Kira snickering due to the communications before he smirked and replied, "You know if you're gonna keep laughing, maybe you should laugh together with Flay or some pink-haired singer."

Now it was his turn to blush, Kira had a crush on Flay, yes, but a singer with pink hair? He wasn't so sure. "Well at least I'm not struggling with two girls!" He said with a pout.

Luka laughed, "Sure ya don't, sure ya don't. But hey, heads up: Our little "duo date" ain't finished with her up there, so, grab that rifle, I'll throw you some ammo." He said as he tossed the ammo clip towards the Strike who grabbed it and loaded the ammo into the gun.

The Penelope circled around in the air briefly before it fires its beams as the Strike fired the Beam Magnum at the Gundam while the Unicorn attacked with its Beam Tonfa.

[She's too fast, I can't get a shot!] Kira exclaimed, "Yeah, and I'm almost going completely nuts from all this criss-cross swords thing!" Luka complained as the Unicorn crossed swords with the Penelope.

'As expected of the first Mobile Suit to have the Psycho-Frame developed throughout its frame, Master Nox did tell me that only certain Newtypes like us can be able to exhibit vast potential of the Psycho-Frame Type Mobile Suits, but....' Celia looked down at the Strike with a bit of curiosity, 'That one...it may not be like the Unicorn or mine, the Penelope, but the pilot inside certainly has some skills.' It was then Celia decided to speak to the two teenage boys, "Pilots of the two Mobile Suits."

"?!" Was the shared thought of Luka and Kira.

[You're both very capable and are the first two to match the speed of my Penelope. May I know your names?]

"A girl's voice...?" Sai wondered as Luka then spoke up, "What does ZAFT want with Heliopolis?!"

[Oh? A child? No...perhaps...a teenager? A pilot at this age?] Celia mused, "Hmph! Forget it, I'm a fool for asking a member of ZAFT! You bastards are gonna pay for this! DEARLY!" Luka yelled in anger.

Celia frowns as she can tell from the boy's tone, he was ready to fight. And a fight, he will most definitely get. "Is that so?" Celia began, "In that case....come at me! UNICORN!" The two Mobile Suits flew towards each other as they fought in a deadly aerial battle.

"Whoa...!" Tolle said as the others watch the two Gundams fight in the sky. When the Penelope fired its Beam Gun, the Unicorn's shield activated its I-Field.

"Hm?! It has an I-Field?!" Celia said in astonishment as the shield closed as the Unicorn crossed swords with her again. 'Awesome! This shield's incredible! But...why isn't this type not located in the books of the library or at school?' Luka wondered. His curiosity would have to wait as Celia closed in on him before he made the Unicorn cross swords with the Penelope one final time before he called out to Kira, "Kira! Now!"

Upon being called, Kira shot at the Penelope, which made her shield get blown off as the legendary white Mobile Suit hits the Gundam of ZAFT down as the Penelope was on its back while the Unicorn was on top of it.

[Perhaps.] Celia replied.

[Attacking innocent civilians just to get these six Mobile Suits is too much, even for ZAFT!]

The Unicorn stands up slowly as the Strike walks next to it, ready to fire if need be. [Who's your commander?] Luka asked as Celia giggled, [You think I'll tell—] It was then she got a call from her master, «Celia. Return to the ship. We got what we needed.»

Nodding, Celia then fired some flash bangs up in the sky as the Penelope flies up in the sky heading for the Vesalius.

"Shit! She got away," Luka cursed before he looked back at the others. "You guys okay down there?"

"We're fine!" Miriallia replied as she was tending to Murrue's wound.

In a shaft, dead bodies were all over the place, some had parts missing and most had some of the usual gore. If there was any bad place for a person to wake up with a badder headache in the most baddest of days, this was it, and unfortunately, Natarle was that person. She gasped, but tried to recompose herself as she pushed away the body that was in front of her as she was concerned about a certain ship.

"The ship...where's the Archangel?!" She said as she made her way further into the hallways, unaware of the battle going inside and outside of the colony.

Outside of the colony, a crimson haired young woman wearing Chinese clothing and had fire-orange eyes was walking towards the command room of the Vesalius as the ZAFT officers saluted as Ades and Rau noticed her.

"Aww, did the party already start?" The foreigner whined while she asked. Rau merely smiled, "No, in fact, this is only the beginning." As he said that, two certain Mobile Suits came as the foreign girl smiled.

"It seems my fiancée and sister-in-law are back. May I go greet them with my Mobile Suit, commander?"

"By all means, please go ahead. I wouldn't dare to keep a lady waiting for her beloved." Rau did a "You are allowed to pass" gesture as the girl smiled with glee, for a moment, Ades could have sworn he had saw fangs in her smile...

"Um," Ades began to ask, "Who is she?"

"Believe it or not," Rau began as he gave him a file about her, "She is the Major and Lieutenant's admiral, and also...she is known as «The Great Dragon Of The Ninth Crimson Heaven»."

Ades was in shock, surely, Nox was lucky to be a teammate with one of ZAFT's elite admirals, not only that, he knew one person who had that title....

"Shen Chilong...!"

As the Silver Bullet and Penelope head for the Vesalius, they see a red Mobile Suit that had two dragon heads on its back and was waiting on the outside of the ship.

[Welcome back, husband~] A seductive female voice was heard as Nox smiled, "Hello, Shen. Came back from Kaohsiung?"

[Meh, It was a bore, the people down there weren't all that very interesting.] Shen replied with a shrug as she saw Celia, [What happened to your Mobile Suit? You hardly let anyone land a hit you.]

[Apologies, the Strike and Unicorn were capable opponents.]

'This got verrry interesting,' Shen thought with a grin as she licked her lips. While she was a fashion designer and a ZAFT admiral, she was a battle maniac, and to have a fight with the legendary Mobile Suit rumored to have ended a war long ago before the Bloody Valentine would be the most greatest honor yet.

"Hm?"

"What is it, love?"

"Look at this."

The three Mobile Suit pilots look to see a GINN who forced the ship that Mu had escorted to the colony to crash into the nearby wall, much to Mu's anger and regret.

"Dammit! This bastard's got me on the ropes, I can't beat him in this!" He grunted as he launched his Mobius Zero's gun barrels at the GINN responsible as they hit its rifle and arm before it flew away from him.

"該死的白痴!" Shen cursed in her home language, "He should be victorious, or dead!" Let it be known, Shen had a high respect for the strong, the weak? You can guess.

"Indeed," Nox began as he nodded in agreement with his fiancée, "He should have remained on the battlefield and died for honor, not flee and live in disgrace. But then again...." Nox pondered as his maid/2nd fiancée and 1st lover look at him in curiosity, "That Mobile Armor, doesn't that look familiar?"

"Hmm....ah! The Moebius Zero! If I remember correctly, its pilot is..." Shen began to smile as Celia continued, "Mu La Flaga, The Hawk Of Endymion. One of the Earth Alliance's ace pilots."

"...How interesting." Nox hummed. An entertaining opponent, but it was a shame that someone else had got to him first.

"Olor's making an emergency return! Firefighters to B Deck, now!" Although Ades wasn't fazed, the Mobile Armor proved to be a formidable foe. "He took a hit in a battle like this? It should be nothing for him!" He said.

"When faced with one annoying fly, the only solution is to crush it." Rau said as Ades turned to him.

"Sir! We're receiving a laser beacon from Miguel Aiman! Something's gone wrong!"

Rau frowned, if the Mobile Suits of the EA being just as strong than the GINNs and Nox's claims of the White Beast Of Possibility being on the colony was true, then a measure had to be taken....a very drastic measure.

"If these suits are strong enough to force Miguel to retreat, then we cannot allow them to remain in enemy hands." He said as he got off from his seat.

Eyecatch A: Perfect Strike is seen as it wields its sword ready for battle while Aegis is seen in the background with Unicorn in its Destroy Mode glowing in the light of the sun.

Eyecatch B: Luka is seen gazing at the blue sky as Cagalli leans her head on his shoulder with a relaxed loving smile as they were on a bench.

In the ship that was blown apart, Natarle called out, hoping for survivors.

"Hello? Is anyone here?!" She asked as the ensign notices a captain's hat which starts to bring tears to her eyes. "They're dead...every last one of them is gone!" Correction. Not all of them were. In fact, she would hear a loud banging as another EA member came out with a flashlight as he sees her.

"Ensign Badgiruel! You're alive!"

Outside of the colony, the remainders of the ZAFT forces went back to their ships while flares are seen being fired as Mu looks in confusion and suspicion of their "retreat".

"They're retreating?! No...something doesn't make sense here—"

SHIIING!

A flash of white cut through his mind, it was clear that Mu recognized that signal, and it was...!

"Wait...!"

While he boosted his MA towards the direction where he sensed the presence, a white CGUE with a red eye flew in the air as the pilot was revealed to be none other than Rau Le Creuset himself.

"You can sense my presence, can you not? The same way that I can always sense yours. We are tied together, you and I, now, and always." He said as he boosted towards the colony, unaware that a certain black Mobile Suit was on an asteroid staring at the white MS as it had its arms crossed.

"This is very interesting....so then....will you come out to play, or will I come to you first, White Unicorn?" Nox smirked.

Back on the colony, Miriallia was treating Murrue while Luka was looking over the systems of the Unicorn and the others were with the Strike as Kira was with her.

'GAT-X102 Duel, a general purpose type Mobile Suit, GAT-X103 Buster, heavy artillery type Mobile Suit, GAT-X303 Aegis, a transformable type Mobile Suit, GAT-X207 Blitz, a Mobile Suit specialized with assassination and infiltration equipment, and finally, GAT-X105 Strike, a Mobile Suit that can be compatible with «Striker Packs»...huh.' Luka thought, 'Why would these Mobile Suits and the Unicorn be here? Could Lord Uzumi really....no, it couldn't be.' "I'm really confused and frustrated with these questions in my head now." He said while rubbing his hair in exhaustion and frustration from the questions that kept bugging him.

"Rgh..." Murrue moaned as she woke up from her unconsciousness. Seeing that she was awake, Miriallia spoke, "Glad to see that you're awake. Hey, Kira! Luka!" The adult chocolate-haired woman tried to move to see them but groaned in pain.

"No, you better stay still. You were hurt pretty badly." Kira said as he went to her side. Murrue looked at him with a weary expression as Kira then looked down.

"I'm so sorry about what happened. I guess I just got carried away, I guess."

"N-No...you're fine."

"As soon as we're done recuperating, we should probably get to someplace safe. At any rate, ZAFT's probably gonna blow everything here to hell." Luka told the woman as Miriallia offered her some water while he went to check on the Strike,"Would you like some water, miss?"

"Thank you." Murrue said as she gently took the water before opening the cap to drink.

"Guys! This "Gundam" thing is freakin' awesome!"

"I can't believe on what it can do!"

Tolle and Kuzzey were "inspecting" the Strike while Sai and Luka yelled out to them.

"Come on down! It's not a toy!" Sai scolded, "Yeah, in case you bums didn't notice, that thing's a weapon!" Luka finished. Playing around was the WORST time in this situation!

"Why do you think it turned back to gray?" Kuzzey asked Tolle who shrugged while giving his response in turn, "It's because there's no more juice in the battery."

"STEP AWAY FROM THAT MACHINE!"

A gunshot rang as a bullet nearly hit the open cockpit where Tolle and Kuzzey were standing. The shooter? Murrue Ramius herself. As she walked towards the Strike, Kira tried to convince her.

"They don't mean any harm! Please, you gotta stop!" Kira pleaded, "All these guys are my friends, you got knocked out during the fight and they carried you to safety!" As soon as he said that, now it was his turn to be pointed at with a gun. "Look, kid, I'm real glad you saved me, okay?" Murrue began, "But that Mobile Suit there is way beyond classified, same goes for the Unicorn. So it's not something I can allow a bunch of kids to just play with." She said as the three boys came over along with Luka.

"She'd have more of a point if Kira and Luka didn't pilot them ten seconds ago." Tolle remarked while Luka sweatdropped, 'Actually, it was more like fifteen seconds for me.' He said mentally before he gulped as Murrue pointed the gun at them, gesturing the four boys to move.

"Okay, you four, over there." She told them before she walks to them as all six teenagers were in a group together. "Your names. One at a time."

"My name is Sai Argyle."

"And I'm Kuzzey Buskirk."

"Mine's Tolle Koenig."

"Miriallia Haw."

Murrue nodded before she gestured the last two to say their names, though the white-silver haired one looked familiar...

"I'm Kira Yamato."

"....Name's Luka. Luka Animus."

Hearing that made Murrue widen her eyes as the last name was a military family that was connected to both the Unicorn and a rumored object containing untold power. A power that only the Animus family knows, and that Luka will soon learn about in the events to come.

"You're....a member of the Animus family?!"

"?! You know who my family is?!"

This was shocking to everyone, even to Murrue herself. Could Luka have come from a well-known family? If so, how did he lose his memories?

"You don't....remember?" Murrue asked the orphan as he shook his head, "Not everything. I only remember a few important stuff, like how to pilot a Mobile Suit and....the Unicorn is apparently connected to me." Luka replied as he looked at the white single-horned Mobile Suit while Murrue introduced herself, "Alright then, I'm Murrue Ramius, I'm an officer of the Earth Alliance. I hate that I have to do this, and I know it may seem unfair, but I cannot allow you to leave now." She told them in an authoritative/sympathetic tone as they gasped in shock. "Regardless of the circumstances, the fact that you have seen two of the Alliance's most secret weapons. You're going to have to stay by my side at all times. At least until you reach someone in the chain of command with enough authority to determine what's to be done with you."

"No...!"

"Seriously?!"

"Yeah, no way!" Tolle began, "That freaking sucks!"

"You don't have a choice in the matter!"

"But all of us are citizens of Heliopolis and the ORB Union, we're neutral! It's not like we're in the military or anything, we're just kids!"

"Yeah, he's right!"

"Hold up!" Kuzzey exclaimed, "Why are Earth Alliance forces even on Heliopolis? It makes no freakin' sense!"

"Yeah! If you guys weren't here, none of this wouldn't have happened!"

BANG BANG!

Two shots were heard in the air as Murrue pointed her gun up briefly before she pointed at the teenagers again.

"Be quiet! ALL of you!" Shouted Murrue, "You don't understand anything what's going on here. Yes, your home is neutral, and yes, you're not military, but you can't distance yourself from what's happening. You saw something you weren't meant to see and I'm sorry for that. But facts are facts, you're all a part of this now. The war. Chaos. Like it or not, it's time for you to face reality."

Everyone remained quiet until Luka began, "She's right. Heliopolis is aligned with ORB, which is true, but, Earth recognized ORB as a nation, therefore, making it somewhat an asset to the Alliance. And if you think about it, Mobile Suits here, on Heliopolis? It gives ZAFT a perfect goddamn reason to rain hell on us because ORB and the Earth Alliance are secretly working together." He said before continuing, "It's like a repeat of the last war before this one. A war that happened between two factions who are predecessors to the EA and ZAFT, only back then....Newtypes existed."

""Newtypes"?" Miriallia said curiously.

"Newtypes aren't real!" Murrue shouted while Luka gave her a "Really?" look, "Are they? Then explain why are Coordinators attacking us and call us "surface dwellers"?" Murrue pondered before Luka continued, "If you can remember, Newtypes weren't the only ones, the Cyber Newtypes. They and the Newtypes themselves were predecessors to the Coordinators, all three were adapted to living in space. But enough about that for now, we got other things to worry. We're in the middle of a war, PLANTs fighting Earth, Coordinators against Naturals. Right now? This is the world we're living in, and we need to stay alive."

Near the gate that leads to inside Heliopolis, Rau in his white CGUE was hiding behind a rail cylinder as Mu was searching for him in his Moebius Zero until Rau began the first attack.

"Bastard! Of course it would be Le Creuset!" He growled while he deployed his gun barrels to fire at the white CGUE.

"Always causing trouble for me, are you, La Flaga?! Though I'm sure you would want to end this and at last, be rid of me!" He frowned while heading inside the colony as Mu pursues him.

Back at the Archangel...

"The only survivors..." Arnold Neumann, a chief petty officer who was with Natarle earlier, explained the current situation, "Were the few of us already on this ship, when the first blast hit. Most are just factory workers."

"No military?" Natarle wondered before asking, "What happened to ZAFT?"

"I wish I knew," he shrugged, "Truth be told, we've got our hands full just by keeping the ship secure."

Immediately, Natarle and the others got to work on getting the Archangel's systems ready as they went online.

"The Archangel's quite the ship. It'll take more than some cheap attack to bring her down." Natarle mused, "Maybe, but there's not much where she can do while we're trapped here in the harbor. The only way out is blocked by a heap of rubble." Arnold informed.

As soon as she turned on the communications, all that Natarle could see was static on the screen.

"Why are the airwaves still jammed?! That means, this was only a diversion! ZAFT's real target must have been the Morgenroete the whole time!"

"...!"

"Come on! Why won't you work?! The G-Weapons are there! This whole system is useless!" Natarle said in despair before a certain boy's voice is heard.

[..This is the X105 Strike! —liance Forces, please respond!]

At the now turned battlefield of Heliopolis, Kira tries to make contact with the Archangel but to no avail while Luka was in the Unicorn keeping a lookout for any enemies.

"This is the X105 Strike! Earth Alliance Forces, please respond! Earth Alliance Forces, please respond!" The only reply he received? Static. While he waited for an response, a trailer driven by Sai came.

"One number five trailer. This is the kind you wanted, right?" Sai asked Murrue as she replied, "Yes, that's the one. I appreciate it."

"So what's next then? The sooner we get this done, the sooner we get out of here."

"We'll need to get the Striker Pack," Murrue began as she looked at Kira, "And after that, Kira, why don't you try contacting the alliance again?"

"Sure."

Meanwhile, Mu and Rau still continue their chase battle.

"What are you after?!" Mu frowned as he fired his laser cannon as his rival dodged the blasts, much to Mu's frustration as the Rau's CGUE fired its gun while Mu dodged and tries to target him but ends up looking at a wall.

"Damn it!"

"This foolish pursuit of yours is about to end...NOW!" Rau roared as he rained bullets on the Moebius Zero's gun barrels, causing them to blow up.

"You want us to launch the ship?! We don't have the people to crew it!" Arnold asked Natarle who was in the captain's seat.

"If you have time to argue with your superior officer, then you have time to find a way! You will do as I command you! Morgenroete can still be in danger! Or would you rather stay cooped up and let ZAFT have their run of the colony while the Black Lion is on the prowl hunting for more helpless prey to eat?!"

"Captain, I rounded up the others!" Another EA officer member informed as Natarle began giving orders, "Take your places! Do exactly as the computer tells you!"

«Ma'am!»

"Those ZAFT vessels are still out there," Arnold argued, "We're in no position to fight!"

"I know that! Prepare the assault cannon to fire as soon as we activate the ship! You can do that, can't you?"

He was reluctant at first, but Arnold immediately got into the chair to drive the Archangel.

"Now then, begin the takeoff sequence! Due to the urgency of certain circumstances, we'll omit processes C-30 and L-21. Main power online!"

"Output increase: Stable. Four hundred and fifty seconds till required energy."

"Far too long. What's the status of conduits from the colony?"

"Um...they're unharmed!"

"Commence drawing extra power from them. Once the power conduits are online, relay all of that power to the accumulator!"

"Confirming connection! Close stable! Twenty seconds now!"

"Life support systems are coming online!"

"CIC online!"

"Weapons systems, online! We have SCS contact!"

"The magnetic field chamber and the dispenser are idling, all systems stable!"

"The external shock dammer is running at maximum output! It's holding!"

"We have main power contact! Engine running stable. All Archangel systems are now online! We're ready for takeoff!"

Natarle nodded before giving out more orders, "Seal out all air tight bulkheads. I have no idea what kind of chaos we're getting into out there, but I want all hands on deck ready for battle. Lead her out slowly. Archangel, taking off!"

With that, the engines roared to life as the ship readies its cannon.

Back in the corridors of the colony, Mu and Rau continue their duel while in Heliopolis inside the artificial real world area, the Strike is seen walking before kneeling next to the trailer as gear appears as the load opens.

"Hey, Lieutenant! Which one of these is the power pack?" Kira asked, "The weapons and power back are together as one unit! Just mount the whole thing!" Murrue replied.

Mu dashed around as Rau fired his weapon while it goes back to Strike who was waiting to be loaded with the Launcher Unit.

"The sirens are still going," Miriallia said in a sad and worried tone, "I wonder if everyone's out."

"Yeah, I wonder if my mother and father managed to make it to safety." Sai spoke with the same tone.

"I just want to go back home again!" Kuzzey whined before explosions are heard coming from above as Luka in the Unicorn looked up to see the chaos as Mu and Rau are seen coming out.

"A Mobile Suit!"

The CGUE's eye moved as it sees the Strike and the Unicorn, the latter readying its weapon for battle.

"So, there you are, and what a surprise to see the famed Beast Of Possibility."

"The last weapon! And is that...the Unicorn?!" A flash of white crosses in his head as he hears a young man's angered battle cry echoing as the Unicorn boosts forward.

"Get that pack on the suit and let's go!" Murrue ordered as Kira gets to work.

The Moebius Zero fires its main weapon at the ZAFT commander as he responds with firing his own gun before drawing its sword to cut away Mu's gun before he gets into a sword fight with Luka.

'You bastards, HOW DARE YOU ATTACK INNOCENT PEOPLE!' An unfamiliar voice echoed in Rau's head as he was surprised, "Could it be...?" Rau then smirked, "How interesting! Yet another new kind of human, a "true human" adapted to space! A Newtype!"

'How interesting! Yet another new kind of human, a "true human" adapted to space! A Newtype!' Luka could have sworn he had heard another person's voice in his head. "Who...who was that? And...he knows what a Newtype is?!"

"Let this be the end of you!" Rau said as he kicks away the Unicorn and dashes towards the Strike.

"KIRA! ABOVE YOU!"

Kira screamed as he turned on the Phase Shift Armor while the Archangel heads for the exit.

"Bring us to maximum speed and fire the cannons!" Natarle ordered as the cannons charged up before firing their beams as they made their exit, causing an explosion which made the Archangel finally fly out of its rocky prison, as if it was a literal angel who was now on her way to heaven.

"It's the Archangel!" Murrue shouted as everyone looked at it in awe, shock, and disbelief.

'Incredible...! It looks exactly like the White Base model Kira's mom gave to me for my birthday!' "Wow..." Luka said in awe.

"They failed to destroy the warship?" Rau frowned it dodged the shots from the ship's cannons as Mu wondered, "What's a warship doing inside a colony?" His thoughts were cut off as he was given permission to land.

"We've broken through, and we're now in the colony's exterior!" Arnold said to Ensign Badgiruel.

"Morgenroete's been destroyed, the Strike—wait, the Unicorn?! How in the world..?!" This shocked Natarle. No one could pilot the Unicorn, not even the best pilots the EA assigned couldn't pilot the legendary Mobile Suit! So, who...? "Oh great, just what we needed," she said sarcastically as Rau closed in on them, "Take evasive action! Hard to starboard!" The ship dodged the CGUE's shots as said Mobile Suit dashed for the two Gundams.

"Using Phase Shift and weapons unfamiliar to the world...but how about this?!" Rau questioned he fired several rounds at Kira and Luka's friends before Luka shielded them with the Unicorn's I-Field Shield.

"Bastard!!" Luka yelled as he fired his Beam Magnum while Rau thought out loud, "I can see why the Major has his sights on you..."

"Ready aft missile tubes seven through to standby and fire on my command." Natarle ordered as the rear missile launchers opened, revealing bulky missiles as she turned to her high right who looked uncomfortable.

"Target: Enemy Mobile Suit."

"Laser designator! You are not to hit the shaft or the ground, do you hear me?! That's an order! And fire!" Natarle ordered as Rau spiraled his machine around while making his way to the shaft, letting it take damage from the missiles.

"Kyaaa!" Miriallia screamed as she and the other teens were startled by the sheer destruction caused by the enemy Coordinator.

"No, you DON'TTTT!" Kira shouted as he pressed a button which made a visor slide over his eyes at the same time when the Agni, a hyper impulse cannon, slung under the Strike's right arm as the visor locked onto Rau's CGUE.

"Wait! That—!" Murrue shouted, before being cut off as Kira fired the Agni, sending a huge beam of white and red energy hurling at Rau, who grimaced and jetted to the left; saving his life but not his CGUE's right arm and rifle.

The beam continued to the colony wall. The result was delayed; for a moment it seemed nothing had happened, until....

BOOOOOOM!

A red burst of light echoed, and the inky black void of space was exposed. Kira was in shock as he looked at the damage he had caused. Sensing his chance, Rau made for the hole while Luka pursued him.

"You're not getting away, asshole!" He yelled as the Unicorn fired its Beam Magnum a couple of times as one shot barely grazed the CGUE before the shield exploded. "So this is the strength of the Unicorn...incredible." Rau muttered as he escaped from Luka's sight.

"Tch...dammit!"

"The enemy mobile suit is retreating." Neumann's neighbour said. Natarle sighed, they had not been able to destroy it, but the Unicorn and Strike had done enough damage. She then gave the order for the Archangel to land.

Meanwhile on the Vesalius, the Aegis was undergoing analysis; powered down, of course, so the armor was gray not red.

{All unauthorized personnel are restricted from areas containing the captured mobile suits. Security clearance is in effect for all maintenance crew until such time as it is determined the captured mobile suits pose no immediate danger. Failure to comply will result in disciplinary action.}

The mechanics carried crates around, virtually weightless due to the zero-gravity, while in the Aegis, Athrun was silent as he scanned the OS for problems, but was delayed briefly as several images of Kira popped up in his head.

"You okay?" A ZAFT mechanic asked him.

"Sorry." Athrun apologised to the mechanics, as they were in alarm over the OS. "I started working on yours too, by mistake." He said sheepishly, while the lead mechanic turned to him.

"No, it's quite alright." The mechanic said amicably. "We've completed external inspections and recharging. What about you?"

"Yeah, I'm finished as well." The keyboard slid back into place. "How did they manage to use that OS?" He gasped as he saw Commander Le Creuset's CGUE come back into the hangar, but that wasn't what suprised him.

Rau's mobile suit was missing an arm and weapon literally, as well as the composite shield. Fire squads swarmed the deck as the white CGUE plunged into the safety net. They looked in wonder at the damage done.

'That's impossible...' As the CGUE began undergoing repairs, Athrun's thoughts returned. 'But if it was him...'

The Strike and Unicorn were powered down, and kneeling inside the right catapult. Kira lowered his friends to the floor, while Luka just completed another scan of the surroundings.

"Lieutenant Ramius!" Murrue heard, as Natarle ran up to them with a sizable crowd, gazing at the Strike and Unicorn. She saluted, and Murrue saluted back.

"It's a tremendous relief to see that you're safe." Natarle said. "And with the Strike and Unicorn as well." She wondered how the Unicorn had been retrieved; as far as she and the crew knew, the Unicorn couldn't be piloted by anyone, almost as if it was a literal wild horse. What surprised her right now was that someone had finally tamed it and became its pilot.

"You as well. I'm pleased to see you protected the Archangel." Murrue smiled warmly. "You do realize you saved us?" She asked rheutorically, as both cockpits of the machines opened, with Kira and Luka climbing out.

Natarle looked at them in curiosity as they both grabbed the line and lowered down to the floor. Murdoch, the head mechanic, groaned. "Come on, would someone tell me what's going on here?" He complained, "They're just kids, just learned to shave and they're piloting those?" As the friends gathered together, Natarle turned back to Murrue with a confused look.

"Lieutenant Ramius, what's going on?" She asked confusedly. Murrue was about to reply, before a whistle cut her off. Walking towards her was a familiar blond man in a purple flight suit.

"Wow, what a surprise," Mu said as he looked at the machines, opposite each other. "I'm Lieutenant La Flaga, of the Seventh Orbital Fleet, at your service. It's an honor." He said as he saluted, with Natarle and Murrue introducing themselves formally as well.

"I would like permission to come aboard this vessel." Mu said formally, even though he had already landed and he along with everyone else weren't aware of another person who boarded the ship secretly.

"May I ask who's in command around here?"

Natarle seemed reluctant to say, which Murrue picked up on as the ensign informed them, "The captain and all the superior officers of this ship perished in battle." She said. "Therefore I believe it is Lieutenant Ramius who is next in command." Murrue was suprised, before she elaborated, "Only a dozen of us are left sir, mostly non-commissioned officers." Natarle listed, "Fortunately, I was in the shaft and managed to survive."

"You mean the captain's....it can't be..." Murrue said in shock and despair. Mu put a hand to his face as he said to himself before asking her, "Oh man, what an unmitigated disaster. In any case, please grant me permission, Lieutenant Ramius. The ship I was assigned to engaged the enemy and was taken down."

"Oh! Sure, permission granted." Murrue said in a stutter, still shocked at the recommendation of Natarle while Mu turned towards the group of teenagers.

"And, who are they?" He asked, mostly pointing towards Luka and Kira, who he had seen exiting the mobile suits. "As you can see, they are teenaged civilians, for some reason he was in the factory area during the attack. I brought him aboard the G-Weapon." Murrue explained, "The one with the silver-white hair discovered the Unicorn after being separated from him and the rest of the group. Their names are 'Kira Yamato' and 'Luka Animus'. Thanks to Kira's efforts, we were able to defeat a GINN, in addition securing the Strike."

As the crowd bubbled, Miri noticed Luka wasn't speaking of his three GINN kills. While he couldn't remember the last few seconds during the fight, Miri noticed the Unicorn emitting a red glow and briefly she saw the tablet shaped monitor showing the words «NT-D» before it went to normal. She decided to let him keep quiet while she explained on the last part, though she could not say the same for Tolle.

"What? A GINN?!" Natarle said in shock, the G-Weapons hadn't even been completed yet, but this boy had managed to defeat a GINN with it. She would be in for a shocker once Tolle explained the rest.

"Hey, you're forgetting Luka! He took down three GINNs after he found that unit! And also, he and Kira here had the Penelope running for the money!"

"The what?" Mu, Murrue, and the rest of the EA group said before Luka spoke, "It's the Gundam that attacked us in the factory. Its pilot was no amateur, had me and Kira nearly cornered with those weapons and that gear that was emitting Minvosky particles allowing that thing to fly in the air with ease." The murmur continued ever higher, and Luka seemed to dislike the attention given to him knowing that he doesn't do well when lots of people give him attention. Let it be known, when he was called out to introduce his survey which was about programs, machines, and science which he got an A for providing precise information and outstanding knowledge during a project introduction night for everyone, including the parents to see, Luka was downright nervous.

It took everything it had for him to not run away, but, grades mattered, and getting the A was worth the risk. Thankfully, during his celebration dinner, he managed to get rid of his childish fear by eating some good food, courtesy of Mrs.Yamato and another person who took care of him during his childhood.

"I came as an escort for the young officers specially trained to pilot the G-Weapons. Where can I find them?" Mu asked, even though he suspected the answer that would be given.

"The bombs detonated near the control booth," Natarle said as Mu turned his head to her, "The captain was welcoming them there, and they died when the bombs went off." Mu briefly mourned those prosperous young men, before turning to Kira and Luka, walking towards them. "So tell me, you guys are Coordinators, right?"

Kira and Luka seemed taken aback by the accusation, as did their friends and the staff of the Archangel.

"Yes...?/Maybe...?" Kira and Luka answered uncertainly before the men bore their rifles at the two boys as Tolle and Miriallia shielded them. Mu, confused, asked Luka, ""Maybe"...?"

"I don't really know if I'm a Coordinator or a Natural. Call me a fool for bringing up children's stories and lying, but I might be a Newtype or I don't know. What I do know is that I have experience in piloting a Mobile Suit and that I have a connection with the Unicorn based on....what my mother told me." Luka said with a saddened expression as Miri looked at her to-be shared boyfriend in sympathy while some of the men who had their rifles lowered their guns after seeing his expression.

'Luka....' Miri said in worry.

'So he isn't a Coordinator and at the same time, not a Natural. So...' Mu looked back at the Unicorn as he let his mind speak out his theory, 'Could it really be it? The reason why the Unicorn didn't accept any other pilot was because they weren't....Newtypes?'

Meanwhile, aboard the Vesalius, Rau was debriefing the surviving teams of the ZAFT invasion force. They had been uneasy when three of them had brought back data of a second surviving G-Weapon and the Unicorn. "So, there was a sixth unit at Heliopolis, not only that, the Unicorn was there too, and they had been hidden because of some reason..." Rau muttered, the others being very indignant. "You've saved my hide with this, Miguel. I would've been a laughing stock back at HQ, losing six GINNs in battle against mobile suits created by the Earth Forces." Miguel stood at attention, "Thank you, sir."

"No one would have believed it was possible. You are aware of the machines originally had incomplete OS? With that in mind, I cannot fathom why those two units were able to maneuver so well. But I will make one thing absolutely clear; we cannot allow them to keep possession of them, no matter what. If we cannot capture them, we will destroy them, along with that warship." Rau looked to Ades as he nodded, "Miguel, Matthew, Olor, prepare to launch! You have been authorized to use Weapons Configuration Type-D. Let's see you put it into use." The four present ZAFT soldiers saluted, with the three Greens pushing off towards the hangar.

"Captain Ades," Athrun asked to the ZAFT captain, "Please allow me to sortie as well." Ades turned to him in surprise, but Rau got to him before he could.

"You have no mobile suit; but you have also completing a vital part of the mission, securing one of the units." Athrun looked reluctant.

"But, sir—"

"Let it go this time, Zala. Miguel, Olor and Matthew have more to prove, given the humiliation they suffered."

Back at Heliopolis....

"What do you think you're doing?!" Tolle shouted at the EAF armed guards, "Kira's a Coordinator and Luka might be one, but they're not enemies! Didn't you just hear about what happened?!"

"Yeah! They just saved your Lieutenant, and this is how you thank them?!" Miri shouted at them as well. "Lower your rifles men." Murrue ordered, and the soldiers complied, albeit unwillingly. "When you think about it, it isn't very mysterious. After all, Heliopolis is controlled by a neutral nation." The rest of the people knew 'neutral' wasn't really politically correct, but held back.

"It would make sense to find some Coordinators who came here to avoid any involvement in the war. Am I wrong?" She asked Kira who nodded, "You're right, especially since I'm a First Generation Coordinator." He explained.

The crew turned to each other to discuss it as Mu clarified, "Which means that your parents are Naturals." Placing his hands behind his neck, "Well, sorry for creating such a commotion. I was only curious, that's all. On the way here, I saw the pilots use simulations in order to prepare for using them." He said while looking back at the Strike and Unicorn. "They had to struggle, just to get them to move. The Unicorn, on the other hand, didn't really let anyone pilot it. It just simply didn't want to be piloted, almost like a horse who didn't want to get rode on by some random rider.

"What do we do now, then?" Natarle asked, as Mu turned back towards her.

"What do we do now?" Mu asked rhetorically, "I've been shot down and the Le Creuset team is waiting outside. He's a persistant fellow. That, and I don't know if the Black Lion is still out there with the Revolution Dragon. If you ask me, we can't spend too much time here."

"D-Type Equipment, eh?" Dearka Elsman asked, as the GINNs were loaded with the destructive weaponry. Athrun was aboard the Vesalius, while the other three Reds were on the Gamow, the companion ship to Le Creuset's Nazca-class Vesalius.

"I take it Commander Le Creuset is planning to storm a fortress or something." Yzak said as he drank from a canteen.

"What do you think is going to happen to Heliopolis?" Nicol asked his fellow Coordinators, very concerned about the people on Heliopolis. They got what they wanted, so now what? Yzak and Dearka snorted.

"Those Naturals were pretty stupid to involve a colony where it's under a so-called "neutral" nation." Yzak spat as Nicol turned back and looked at the Blitz, thinking.

Meanwhile, supplies were being loaded onto the Archangel, the Strike and Unicorn were undergoing maintenance and slight repairs plus cleaning for the Unicorn; it had only been slightly caught in the explosions of the three GINNs. Mu's Zero was currently being repaired as well. In the midst of it all, one person was hiding, looking at the Unicorn all the while.

A girl about Cagalli's age was hiding by the supplies. She had violet hair and orange eyes. She wore a red leather jacket, a black collar on her neck, black leather leggings hugging her tight big bottom, and wore black shoes. Her name is Alisa Yozora, one of Luka's childhood friends. Her mother is Luka's physics teacher while her father was Luka's science and computer teacher.

"So this is it...." Alisa whispered before she went back into hiding while she held a suitcase of sorts. Looking at it, she thought of a certain boy that she was concerned about, "Luka...."

"Alisa! Hide here!" A grown female's voice whispered as Alisa came to the direction where it was coming from, no doubt that they had to constantly move to temporary hiding spots until they find a permanent one.

In the civilian quarters, Kira and Luka were both in two bunks, sleeping due to exhaustion. Their friends watched over them as Miriallia was by Luka's side.

"I'm impressed that they can sleep at a time like this." Kuzzey observed, as the other four looked at them.

"They're both exhausted, particularly Luka, I saw him panting after beating the last of the GINNs." Miriallia said, as she looked caringly at the two friends asleep. "Today was difficult for them, you know?"

"It was tough, huh?" Kuzzey repeated. "Well, there's no arguing with that, but-"

"What are you getting at Kuzzey?" Sai asked pointedly, before Kuzzey tipped his head up. "I'm just saying it was tough on both of them, that' all. But Kira and Luka were telling us how they rewrote the OS for those machines. When did they do that?" Miriallia popped up to the question, "Well, the Unicorn didn't really have an OS, it was some kind of technology that looked very different than the rest." The blue-eyed brunette then shivered in a little bit of fear. "During the fight, when we were at Death's door, Luka looked like he snapped, and the Unicorn, it....it started to give off this red glow."

The three boys were curious, a Mobile Suit glowing? That was something to be both curious and concerned about.

"A red glow...?" Tolle asked as Miriallia nodded, "Yeah. And while it was glowing, it gave out a loud roar and then...it moved on its own."

"Hmm....a Mobile Suit that can "roar" and move on its own....that's scary if you think about it, that could only mean that the Unicorn has a mind of its own." Sai explained. Everything went dead silent until Miriallia spoke up, trying to bring back the mood, "But it shouldn't be that bad, I mean, come on, guys, we all know Luka. He wouldn't go attacking like a machine programmed to fight. Anyways, I don't know how Kira could've rewrote the OS on the Strike in seconds."

"I've suspected Kira was a Coordinator,  they're byproducts of genetic engineering." Kuzzey said aloud. "They do these mind-blowing things, but to them, it's just a little bit tough, and those ZAFT guys are like that as well. Do the Earth Forces stand a chance against that?" The quartet began to ponder while unbeknownst to them, Luka had heard what they said.

"The colony interior is almost completely evacuated." Murrue explained to Mu and Natarle, in her new office. "But I'm told what just happened rose the danger level to nine."

"That means the shelters have been locked down completely..." Mu said thoughtfully, "But what are we going to do with those kids?"

"Lieutenant Ramius detained those children because they've been exposed to military secrets, we can't exactly let them go free." Natarle elaborated, Mu got at what she was implying, and he frowned. "So you're suggesting we have them join us in our escape?" Mu asked, "Once we're out of here, we'll be involved in some pretty heavy fighting." They turned their attention to Murrue, who coughed to get attention.

"I think we're going to have to rely on the Strike and Unicorn. What do you think our chances of escaping are if we don't use them?" She asked at Natarle's questioning gaze. "Why don't you pilot the Strike, Lieutenant La Flaga?" Natarle asked Mu, who threw his arms out in a gesture.

"Do you honestly think I'll be able to pilot that thing? Have you looked at what those kids have done to the OS? A regular human being couldn't possibly use it after those mods." Natarle sighed in agitation, "Even if I could pilot it, the Unicorn would need a pilot as well. Let's not forget, Unicorn can't be—no, it refuses to be piloted by anyone. Only that kid who talked about Newtypes earlier can apparently pilot that thing because that Mobile Suit has a connection with his family."

"In any case, it seems inappropriate to let civilians be put in charge of such valuable military hardware, especially one Coordinator and one unconfirmed one."

"Then we should just leave and let ourselves become targets?" Mu asked Natarle with a frown, making sure his point got across. "Well?"

The three GINNs launched from the Vesalius, while Athrun hijacked the Aegis after sneaking aboard it. The restraints lifted as the Aegis walked to the catapult. "What? Athrun Zala just launched in a captured unit?" Ades asked in a shocked tone as he was infuriated by the act of insubordination. He thought(incorrectly)Athrun wanted the thunder to himself. "Recall him!"

"Let him go." Rau said, surprisingly, "We're done with the data extraction; this may in fact prove quite interesting. Imagine, two of the Earth Forces Mobile Suits clashing together." Rau looked as the Aegis and GINNs fly off before he got a call from a certain Newtype mercenary.

[Le Creuset.]

"Hm?"

[Order your three GINN pilots and Zala to not lay a hand on the Unicorn. He is my opponent, so you understand on how much I want to battle him after waiting for a long time, yes?]

Rau smirked, today was truly a good day: Two EA Mobile Suits fighting each other while two Newtypes clash. As soon as he smiled, he gave his approval, "Very well. But keep in mind, not some of them will listen seeing as how one of our Greens was killed by the Unicorn."

[Hmph, that's fine.] Nox said with a smile, [If they do interfere, I'll have Shen discipline them thoroughly. Until then, see you on the battlefield.] Nox ended his transmission as his fiancée talked to him.

"You think the Unicorn will come, darling?"

Nox smirked, "Of course he will. I can feel it in my bones....his hidden power is already starting to activate." His silver eyes gleamed golden while he and Shen get ready to launch.

[Silver Bullet, Ventorus. You are clear to launch!]

"Nox Leonis, Silver Bullet, advancing!"

"Shen Chilong, Ventorus, striking with fists ready!"

At the Archangel....

"Electrical interference throughout the colony!" A 1st Class Petty Officer named Dalida Lolaha Chandra II said. "N-Jammer levels rising!" Natarle and Mu looked at him. In the six hours since this began, ZAFT was already launching an assault?

"It appears he won't wait until we head out, that bastard..." Mu added in an angered tone.

Meanwhile at the same time....

"I'm not gonna do it!" Kira said at the civilian quarters, looking defiantly at Murrue. "Please don't get us involved in this war any more, you may be right in saying there's a war going on outside our world, but we don't want any part of it! That's why we moved into neutral territory!"

Murrue sighed and looked sympathetic, it was clear that Kira wasn't the type who wants to end violence with more violence, and she respected him for that. But if he wasn't here, the Archangel and its crew wouldn't survive. Miriallia looked at the hallway where Luka left, no doubt that he left for the Unicorn. Was it possible that he heard about the conversation earlier? Is this what Cagalli meant about him going back to that life? Before anything else can happen, an announcement cut through the entire ship.

[Lieutenant Ramius, come to the bridge at once!] Murrue walked over to a terminal and pressed a button, bringing up the SOUND ONLY display. "Yes, what's the matter?"

[Mobile Suits are approaching us!] Mu's voice sounded as they all gasped. ZAFT was back for round three, and this time, they were coming in full throttle! [Please get to the bridge and assume command, you're the captain now!]

Now it was Murrue's turn to jump. Her time had now come. [I may hold seniority, but I don't know the first thing about this ship.] He elaborated as Murrue looked down. She wasn't ready, but, ZAFT wouldn't wait. "Alright, prepare the Archangel for launch, all hands to Level One battle stations!  What about your mobile armor, Lieutenant?" She asked as she heard a note of exasperation in his tone.

"Negative. Repairs aren't fully completed yet." Murrue frowned, "Alright then, head to the CIS, assume control there."

[Aye aye, captain!]

"You heard it for yourselves, we're entering battle again." Murrue said it as she turns to the Heliopolis teens. "With the shelters on a Hazard Nine level, I can't let any of you off the ship now. Let's just hope we can escape this disaster and leave Heliopolis behind." Kira clenched his fist, he didn't want to kill anymore people. He noticed Luka wasn't there when he woke up, which led him to the belief that Luka must be having doubts too.

"What more do you want?!" He shouted at Murrue, while Tolle tried to warn him. "There might just be the Unicorn, but you're going to force me to pilot the Strike, aren't you?!" Murrue sighed, "I won't force you, but know that there will be some consequences that will come after your actions. It's your choice, but, as it stands, none of us except you and your friend can pilot those two machines." She said before she left for the CIC.

At the same time when the debate earlier occurs, Luka is seen in the hallway that leads to the hangars, thinking on what he should do, pilot the Unicorn or run. Suddenly, he heard something bumping into stuff. Startled, he grabbed a broom, luckily for him, no one was around to see him using it as a weapon.

"Hey! I got zero time for this! Quit playing around now, get out here!" Luka shouted, ready to whack some intruders. He heard rustling within the wreckage as even though he couldn't see anything, he could there were two people around. One remained hiding while the other clumsily ran into things.

"Rrrrgh! ENOUGH OF THIS SHI—" Is what Luka would have said before he slipped on a paint pan that wasn't open before he slipped and crashed comically into a pile of crates as the lights came on. "Owww..." Luka began, "What is with my bad luck...huh?" It was then he noticed and recognized the intruder who was right in front of him and was also in a similar comical position. "Alisa?!"

"Hey, what's up, Luka....ugh." She said as she planted her face onto the floor due to
being a little dizzy from the impact. Before Luka could say anything, he was then grabbed from behind and was tossed judo-style as he landed onto the floor comically.

'Owwwwww! What is with this shit?!' He mentally cursed as an older woman stood over him.

She had long purple hair and pink eyes, with an eyepatch covering her left one, most likely to make her 'look cool'. A well-endowed chest and bottom like her daughter's, in her pockets were a pistol and an army knife. This was Alisa's mother, Minene Yozora.

""Never let your guard down", I thought I made that clear to you and the other boys, ri~ght, Luka~?" She smirked while cracking her knuckles as the orphan gulped, "M-M-Mrs.Yozora...?!"

"Surprised to see us here?"

"W-Well..."surprised" is an understatement," Luka said as he got up, "Why are you here? This is an EA ship, and if people see you two here, they'll just lock you up."

It was then Minene frowned as she looked at the Unicorn, "Luka, since you're the pilot, I think now's a good time to tell you....about you and the Unicorn." Luka's eyes widened. "The Animus family were highly valued by not just the Earth Alliance and ZAFT, but many other organizations due to their connection to Laplace's Box."

""Laplace's Box"....?"

"An object of untold power. If used in the wrong hands, it could destroy not just colonies, but Earth as well. Since then, it's been viewed as a "curse" that was placed onto the Animus family for generations, because people believed the reveal of Newtypes are what caused it." Minene said as she lit a cigarette before she continued, "But that's not what made the Animus family so coveted, no, the main attraction were The Beasts Of Possibility."

Hold on. Beasts? As in, there was more than one?! Luka was shocked beyond belief. "You mean....Unicorn isn't the only one?" Minene nodded. "Originally, there were three of them: A White Unicorn, a Black Lion, and a Golden Phoenix. These three were developed in secret, and like the Unicorn, they couldn't be piloted by Naturals and Coordinators....they could only be piloted by Newtypes."

"....So, wait, if....I'm able to pilot the Unicorn....then that means I'm a..." Luka spoke as he slowly began to realize what he is as Minene nodded while Alisa finished for her. "Yes....you're a Newtype, Luka."

At first, Luka was saying a theory that he might be a Newtype, but to hear that he was actually a Newtype made him stunned with disbelief. Before he could say anything else, red warning lights came to life while a streak of white flashed in his head, causing him to look at the wall, with Minene and Alisa looking at him in confusion.

"What is it, Luka?"

"....They're here."

"Who?"

"....ZAFT."

"Shit....!" Minene cursed. Of all times, why now?! Luka again looked lost in thought as he was concerned about the power he and the Unicorn had. Should he really...?

"Luka...?" He turned to look at Alisa who looked concerned. Sighing, he voiced his insecurities, "I don't know....it's just...I know they're our enemies, but....the act of taking a life—"

"Is a sin that could never be washed away. Even if you wash your hands." Minene finished before she hugged the lad, "You have every right to think that way. But..." It was then she gave the boy a sympathetic and motherly look as she put her hands onto his shoulders. "No matter what people say, the fact that you used a Mobile Suit, if not, the most legendary of them all, to save your friends despite not being in the military...you're still someone important to us. Me, Alisa, Miri, Kira, all of us. How you use that power is up to you."

As Luka thought, Kira was standing in that same hallway where he argued with Murrue earlier. Both boys had their insecurities, but like it or not, their friends were on the Archangel while their families were most likely someplace else. Fighting wouldn't always solve anything, but, something had to be done. And so, the two looked up with fire burning in their eyes.

"What can I do?" Minene smirked as she liked the expression on his face. "Alisa."

"Right, Mom." Alisa gave Luka the suitcase she was holding earlier. Opening it, the case's contents were revealed to be a white pilot suit and a helmet that looked like the EA pilot suits and helmets, but the colors and symbol were based off of the Unicorn.

"This is..."

"Put this on and when you're done, get into the Unicorn and make preparations. I'll handle things here."

"...Right!" Luka stood at attention before he made his way to the lockers to get ready. 'Mom....watch over me. I'll end this war....together with Unicorn!'

Back in the CIC of the Archangel, Murrue was issuing commands as the rest of the Heliopolis teens watched. "Our top priority is to escape Heliopolis. Be careful not to damage the colony during battle."

{Ma'am!}

In the hangar, the Strike was getting equipped for battle, this time with the Sword Striker Pack. "Now it's the Sword Striker? That should prevent a repeat of last time."

[GAT-X105 Strike, go ahead! Launch!]

"Kira Yamato! Strike! Let's go!"

Launching out of the catapult, the Sword Strike activated its Phase Shift Armor and boosted forth, all battle ready for round three.

"Heat source detecting! A GINN!" Mu shouted, before shouting again in a worried voice. "They're equipped with heavy artillery! That's used for taking out bases! What are they thinking?!" The colony wall exploded, allowing two more GINNs in as well as the Aegis following.

"Two more GINNs from another district! But...the –X303! It's the Aegis!"

Back in the catapults, the two mobile suits occupying them were thrust forward, and Natarle began issuing commands. "Arm the Corinthos, target the GINN!" Murrue turned to Natarle, "The Phase Shift Armor can withstand projectiles, but it's effective on a GINN. On my mark, fire at will!"

Out of the top of the two 'legs', a two-barreled cannon came out of each of them, aiming at the GINNs, and immediately fired, scattering the team of four mobile suits.

"Olor, Matthew, you guys get the ship!" Miguel ordered, before he turned to Athrun, "You and me'll take care of that Mobile Suit, show us what you're made of for disobeying orders!"

Kira drew the "Schwert Gehewr", an anti-ship sword, he was impressed at the range, it certainly would be more than enough to defeat that GINN.

"You're going down!" Miguel roared, as he fired the bazooka at the Strike, which Kira made jet upwards, though the shot hit the shaft, putting even more strain on it and sending tendons down, hitting the ground. Kira was shaken at the damage caused, while Miguel laughed in his cockpit.

"Stupid Naturals! They deserve it!" He shouted before firing another round, and Kira dodged once more, with the bazooka hitting another building. With each dodge and hit, the bazooka shells caused further damage onto the colony. "I can't keep dodging his attacks! I have to prevent damage to the colony somehow!" Kira grunted with inner conflict, before another bazooka caught him unaware, and he blocked it with the makeshift shield on the left arm, which in actuality was a "Panzer Eisen" rocket anchor.

"Yes! Did I get it?" Miguel shouted in triumph, before he saw a shocking sight. The Strike was wielding its powerful sword, drawn back for a slash. He dodged to his left, firing another blast which the Strike dodged as well. Athrun looked on in shock, 'How can a Natural pilot a mobile suit so well? The original OS was so bad it was sluggish.' Athrun shook his head clear of thoughts as he boosted his machine to assist Miguel before....

VRRRRRR-BLA-BLAMMMMM!

A red blast of sorts nearly hit the three Mobile Suits as they dodged.

"What was that?!"

Immediately, everyone, including Minene and Alisa who were passing by the windows of the Archangel on the way to CIC saw two certain Mobile Suits: A certain black one who had a booster pack on its back with its Beam Magnum and another which was a blood red Mobile Suit that had two dragon heads on its back while it had its left arm in a palm as it emitted an unknown energy.

"Are those...?!" Natarle began as Dalida answered, "It's the Black Lion! And he's got the Crimson Dragon with him!"

Alisa looked at her mom in worry, "Mom...aren't those—" "Yeah," Minene nodded as she glared at the two Mobile Suits, "The Silver Bullet and the Ventorus. Shit, that kid won't have a chance with that thing, it's a Psycho Machine!"

[To pilots Aiman, Zala, and the other two.] Nox called to them, [Continue your attack on the Strike, Ventorus will assist you. I will deal with the warship. Anyone leaving this battle, even if they are broken, will be shot on sight. Failure will not be tolerated and I will not have any more complaints about pilots dying with no honor. Am I clear?!]

{Sir! Yessir!}

"You all should be glad that I am helping, but don't think for a second I will not notice you are fleeing during this battle. Understood?" Shen spoke in a tone of authority as admiral.

"....Ma'am, it will be a dishonor if I fled, so, I will fight!" Athrun spoke with a determined face as Shen nodded in approval. "Very good. ATTACK!" She roared as she boosted her Ventorus towards the Strike while the Silver Bullet begins its airstrike on the Archangel.

"Come out and show me your power....Gundam of the new age!" Nox cackled madly as his silver eyes flashed gold.

Kira in the Strike was struggling as he fought off the GINNs and Aegis, also activated a beam saber from its arm like Unicorn before the Strike made a horizontal slash across the cockpit, but Athrun dodged to the side, aiming to take down the weapon arm before slicing it in half.

Luckily, Kira boosted backwards before boosting towards the Aegis, parrying the blow with his sword. It was killing him while trying to think, Athrun had to get it out. And so, he began, "Kira. Kira Yamato!"

Kira was taken aback, and the voice confirmed what he had feared. "So it is you. Isn't it Kira?" Athrun asked.

"Athrun..." Kira couldn't believe it, he was fighting Athrun, his own friend! But, why was he fighting in this war?! "Athrun Zala! What is this? Why are you here?!" He demanded as the Strike readied itself. "You should talk! What are you doing in that thing?!" Athrun shouted at Kira, as the Aegis activated the beam saber on the right arm, and clashed with Kira, carefully avoiding the extended range before the Ventorus grabbed the Strike from behind with its dragon heads.

"What the—?!"

"Hello, new Gundam~!" Shen giddily said as she brought the Ventorus's fists together before slamming them down onto the Strike, sending it falling onto the rocky ground as the four Mobile Suits of ZAFT land. "That was easy. Anyone want a piece of him?"

"I do, Admiral." Miguel grinned as he readied his gun to fire at the Strike as Kira paled.

Nox, meanwhile, was engaging the Archangel. He fired three salvos from the grenade launcher on his machine's lower chest section aimed at the heavy cannons, they were easily cut down by the CIWS, but the mighty ship did not escape unscratched. "Number Four weapons bank hit! Sealing the bulkheads on the double!" In the hangar, Kojiro Murdoch was groaning as he was sent flying. The Silver Bullet fired the four powerful grenades from its Grenade Launcher at the Archangel, where the alarm sounded.

"Intercept the grenades!" Natarle ordered.

"Not enough time!"

"Alright, give me manual targetting control—" Mu was about to speak until they hear the top catapult unlocking, making everyone stop what they were doing as the screen in the main visual of the CIC reveal a certain white Mobile Suit.

"Huh? What's that—...No way...!" Miguel gasped as he saw it.

"A white Mobile Suit....with a horn...? Can it be...?" Athrun spoke in a similar tone as Kira and everyone else recognized the Mobile Suit.

"Unicorn?!"

Nox, on the other hand, smirked. "It finally came."

That's right, it was Unicorn. Once again, the white Mobile Suit of legend was ready for battle. And this time, it was in the stars.

"Who opened that hatch?!" Murrue asked.

"Don't know! Someone must have snuck in!" Arnold informed as the door to the CIC opened as a certain violette and her daughter entered.

"Hello, everybody~!" Minene cheerfully spoke as the teens, and surprisingly, Murrue, Natarle, and Mu comically gasped.

"MRS. YOZORA?!/COLONEL?!"

While she smiled, Alisa came out from behind her before she simply bowed apologetically, "We are...reaaaally sorry." Miriallia gasped as she saw one of her childhood friends, "Alisa?!"

"Hey, Miri!" Alisa giggled as Minene greeted her fellow EA members who saluted along with the crew. "It's good to see everyone's okay."

"And it's good to see you as well, ma'am." Murrue said as Minene chuckled as she pat her head, "Come on, Leesa, it's just us, just call me Minny like you sometimes do." Murrue pouted. Of all things, her cousin's name. They weren't kids, they were adults, for crying out loud! But then it was that time, Minene gave out her own orders.

"New orders: Send the Unicorn out to launch! The Strike's going to need help."

"But, Colonel—!" Natarle protested before Minene spoke again. "Yes, I'm well aware. But right now, desperate times call for desperate measures. The Unicorn's performance is outmatched, even a pilot with no training, hell, or even a normal teenager, can get us and the Strike to safety!"

Murrue was concerned, not just about the Unicorn, but the matter about Laplace's Box. "But, coloniel, wouldn't that mean we'd be giving that to them?" Minene brought out her cigarette as she blew a smoke again, "I know. But even if they did, it wouldn't open. They only got one of the keys. But like I said, desperate times call for desperate measures." She then head to the panel where it can communicate with the pilots as she borrows the headphones to talk to the pilot of the Unicorn. "Can you hear me, Luka?"

[Yeah. I hear you.]

Hearing his voice made everyone shocked. "Luka?!" Miriallia shouted in worry.

As Luka made the preparations to launch, Minene began explaining about his pilot suit and the system of the Unicorn, [Now, the pilot suit you're wearing is very different compared to normal ones used by the Alliance, ZAFT, ORB, the Atlantic Federation and other military organizations. It has a medical sub-system that reduces strain on the body from G-resistance, but, don't worry about it. Once the NT-D is activated, it will kick in automatically.]

""NT-D"?" Luka wondered as he heard Miri mention about it before. [That's the program that activates the mode for when the Unicorn's performance limiters are disengaged. You handled it before, so, you should be fine. Good luck, kid.]

Luka nodded as he was done preparing, "Launch preparations completed!"

"Good," Minene nodded as she looked at her fellow EA members who nodded as well. "Begin equipping!"

"Equip the Beam Magnum!" Natarle ordered as the gun was then put in the Unicorn's hand.

"Equipping shield!"

The Unicorn steadied itself as Luka took a deep breath while gripping the controls.

[RX-0 Unicorn! You're clear to launch!]

"Luka Animus, Unicorn! Detaching from ship!" Luka said after he opened his eyes while pressing the pedals to boost forward as the Unicorn lends a hand to the Strike. "Kira!"

Seeing his chance, Kira made the Strike reach its hand and grab the Unicorn's as the two Gundams flew away. "What the hell?!" Matthew exclaimed as Shen tched, "After them!"

The Ventorus's eyes glowed as a dragon's snarl was heard as the four Mobile Suits pursued them while Nox fired his own Beam Magnum at the two.

"Crap! Dodge!" The Unicorn and Strike let go of each other's hands as they dodged  the beam while Luka searched for the shooter as he saw the Silver Bullet hiding behind a space rock. "There he is!"

The Unicorn fired its gun as the blast manages to break the rock where the Silver Bullet was hiding as the chamber pops out an empty container which meant it was reloading.

"Whoa..." Luka said as he then fired at the four pursuing Mobile Suits and the Silver Bullet who dodged the blasts.

"Whoa! That gun's powerful!" Miguel exclaimed as Matthew spoke out, "Yeah, but be careful! Those beams can tear you to shreds!" It was understandable, they were dealing with a legend, after all. During the fight, another ZAFT group was standing by. It was a yellow Zaku and four other Zakus, but they had green coloring on them, the pilot of the yellow one-eyed Mobile Suit was this person.

Shizuya Kirihara. A Lieutenant of the ZAFT forces. Unlike most Coordinators, while he does view Naturals as inferior, he does the same to Coordinators. In short, he is an extremely conceited and overconfident person, believing in himself and his abilities as a pilot to a high degree. However, when it came to stronger pilots, like Nox Leonis, he's actually a coward. When he had became a Red, he thought himself as the best, but, four certain individuals got his attention of hate: Athrun Zala, Yzak Joule, Dearka Elfman and Nicol Amalfi.

He loathed at the idea that there were four pilots younger than him would be better, and he absolutely hated the fact that they got the honor of gaining the Mobile Suits of the EA, being escorted by the Penelope, and fighting alongside the Black Lion and the Crimson Dragon against the legendary Unicorn. It should be him! He got the best scores! So why did he have to observe?! His thoughts were cut off when the Unicorn's beams barely grazed one of the Zakus as said Mobile Suit exploded.

"It barely grazed him, but...!" Shizuya looked back to see the Ventorus who was fighting the Unicorn as the Silver Bullet tried to shoot from behind before it got knocked aside by Strike.

"Kira!" Luka shouted in worry as Kira replied, "Go and fight the red one! I'll flank this guy!" Nodding at his friend's words, Luka resumed fighting the Ventorus and the Aegis while Kira fought the Silver Bullet and Miguel's GINN as the other two GINNs head to the Archangel.

'Gotta be quick, I'm sure he's not called a legend for nothing!' Athrun did the same thing with the Unicorn like he did to the Strike except unlike before, they parried with both swords and shields.

'This guy's good...' Luka thought, as the Gundams broke apart, and he stored the Beam Tonfa before firing several shots at the Aegis, which switched to MA Mode and outran the blasts. "Dammit!"

Athrun then fired a blast from the Aegis's "Scylla", a 580mm built-in hyper-impulse cannon, which forced Luka to boost downwards to dodge the blow. 'Holy crap! If that hit me, I'd be toast!' He paled mentally.

"Where're you looking at, horsie~~?" A bubbly voice got his attention as he looked up to see the Ventorus who fired its Particle Blasts from the hands as the Unicorn dodged them.

"Now starboard forty degrees, full speed!" Murrue called out as they managed to dodge the missiles the GINNs fired, which unfortunately impacted against the colony's interior. Kira made to slash at the GINN, but Miguel dodged the slice, before aiming at the Strike, which dodged once again. Miguel was now getting exceedingly impatient and irritated, firing follow-up shots, which the Strike dodged each time.

"Damn, it's quick!" [Aiman,] Nox spoke to him through a communications channel, [I'll distract it from behind, when you see an opening, do it!] Miguel nodded at his superior's words as the Silver Bullet distracted the Strike by fighting it before he yelled, "I've got you now!"

He fired another volley at Kira, who dodged upwards and threw the "Midas Messer" beam boomerang, which Miguel dodged rather nicely, and who roared in triumph. "How's that?!" Miguel shouted with a smug smile, unaware of the beam boomerang curving backwards, until it had sliced right through the GINN's legs.

"What?!" However, he focused quickly, and as the Strike made to slash him in half, he sacrificed the D-Type weaponry, letting it explode in the Strike's slash, but at the cost of the GINNs legs.

He gritted his teeth; no matter what, this Natural was very talented at this. "Damn it! If this keeps up—"

[AIMAN! MOVE!]

Miguel looked up and before he could even utter a word while he was screaming, the Strike slashed him in half as Athrun turned to see the Strike while the Unicorn was clashing its tonfa against the Aegis's beam saber.

"Miguel!" Letting out a cry of rage, Athrun charged towards Kira as Luka called out to him, "Kira! Behind you!"

The Strike crossed swords with the Aegis as the Unicorn does a front flip kick on the Ventorus before a streak of white flashes in Luka's mind as he sees a beam shot from Nox's Beam Magnum as he blocks it with his shield, catching him and Shen by surprise as the I-Field was activated.

"What?!"

"An I-Field!"

The shield closed as Luka boosted the Unicorn towards the Archangel to assist the crew.

«Struggling Against A God From DBZ: Battle Of The Gods»

As the Archangel continued the deadly dance against the GINNs, Mu made sure to aim at one of them who was dangerously close to the shaft; but he wasn't needed. Luka flew upwards, and carved vertically through the GINN, splitting it in half from top to bottom. "Archangel, this is the RX-0 Unicorn, engaging the remaining GINN. Don't hit the colony!"

However, Mu had pressed down on the trigger one second too late, Luka was forced to boost downwards to avoid the blast, which obliterated the remains of the first GINN, but hitting the colony in turn as Luka looked on in shock and horror as Heliopolis, the place where he was raised and had so many important memories......was gone.

"No..."

"Goddammit!" Mu voiced his thoughts as the Heliopolis teens were in deep despair as Minene hugged Miriallia and Alisa close while the two girls cry.

"Olor! Damn him!" Matthew roared as he boosted towards the Unicorn which if one could look closer, a red glow was seen within the lines on its as it emits a powerful light.

"That glow!" Miriallia gasped as she saw that the Unicorn was glowing once again, only this time, it emitted a far more intense aura than before.

"The Unicorn's emitting some kind of strange glow, what's happening to it?!" Natarle shouted in concern as Minene looked in shock as she gasped while her cigarette dropped.

"Colonel...?" Murrue said in concern as she muttered out loud, "....It's awakened...!"

As Luka opened his tearful eyes full of rage, his warm magenta eyes turned into a blood red as all the monitors retreated into the sides and ceiling of the cockpit, with the main camera display actually surrounding him, giving him a complete 360 degree vision of the scene outside.

The main terminal lowered, and displayed a single word that stayed.

As everyone watched the whole event unfold, The Unicorn's armor began to slide out of place and the seams appeared to retract and plugged into hardpoints that had been revealed.

"The Unicorn..." Matthew muttered in shock as he sees what was happening.

"It's transforming...?!" Athrun said in shock while Kira looked on in awe. Nox, Shen, and the other ZAFT members looked on in surprise as the jetpack revealed to have extra boosters while showing two beam sabers that flipped open and were on top of the jetpack. The shield revealed an x at the center as the I-field generator was exposed.

Underneath the armor, the newly exposed joints were now pulsing with red energy. The horn split down the middle, becoming a yellow v-fin, and the faceplate retracting into the sides, revealing a face similar to the Strike, but more refined. The yellow optics flashed as the Unicorn brandished its Beam Saber.

"Holy cow...!" Tolle said aloud as everyone in the Archangel looked on with the same expression he had. "Minene," Murrue began, "What....is that?" The violet-haired EA colonel then replied, "...The true form of the Unicorn."

"Hey," Sai noticed something familiar as he saw the Unicorn's face, "The Unicorn....it looks like—"

"Not "looks like"."

He turned to Minene as she spoke again, "It is. The oldest of its kind."

On the Vesalius, the crew was murmuring amongst themselves as they saw the Unicorn's transformed state for the first time.

"What in the world...?!" Ades said in shock as Rau looked on in curiosity as he said nothing.

"Nox....the Unicorn....it's...!" Shen spoke to her lover as he confirmed her thoughts, "Yes. It's happened..." Nox said as he looked at the now transformed Unicorn, "So.....you've finally awakened."

Miriallia looked at the Unicorn as she could only mutter one word, "....Gundam..."

As the Unicorn boosted forth, Luka let out the loudest of his battle cries as the echoes made it look like he was roaring.

Eyecatch A: Screen shows Unicorn in its Destroy Mode as it brings out its Beam Saber as its eyes gleam.

Eyecatch B: Luka gets his eyes covered by Miriallia as she puts her arms around him as she smiles with happiness while cherry blossoms fall.

"RRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWRRRRRRRRGH!" Luka's roar echoed as he emitted a shockwave from his Gundam as everyone covers their ears from the sound. Before Matthew could have a chance, the Unicorn was right in front of him as it slashed the arms and legs away before it stabbed through the GINN's chest, ending his life.

"亲爱的上帝...." Shen said in her country's language as she saw the brutality the white Mobile Suit did as Nox looked on with a frown, "This looks troublesome..."

"RRRAAAAAAAAAAAWR!" Luka let out a roar of rage as he began his attack on the Ventorus and Silver Bullet. Bringing out a Beam Saber of his own, Nox clashed with Luka as the two had a deadly sword fight before the Ventorus knocks him away as Luka tries to slash at it but the blood red Mobile Suit grabs the Unicorn.

"You're quite the loud one, aren't you?!" Shen yelled as the Ventorus's dragon heads merge with its arms as they form into big clawed arms while luminous golden "hair" came out from the head as the two Mobile Suits started to emit a Psycho Field.

"Kira! Get out of there! Now!" Minene told the young Coordinator as everyone looked at her in curiosity, "The Unicorn and the Ventorus are emitting a Psycho-Field! When two Psycho-Type Mobile Suits resonate and emit strong energy, that energy forms an electromagnetic field around them. If remained for too long, a Mobile Suit would get torn, even with or without the Phase Shift Armor!"

Everyone gasped, Miriallia was the most concerned of all, the program within the Unicorn she had seen was making her crazy with questions, she needed answers! "Mrs.Yozora...?" She asked as everyone except Minene looked at Miriallia, "Is there something you're not telling us? There is, isn't there...?" Minene said nothing as Miriallia asked again, "What's happened to Luka?!"

It was all silent until Minene started to talk. "I'm not sure either. But, I can tell you this for certain, it looks as though he's somehow went into a super state and managed to gain the high senses and hidden power some Naturals and Coordinators have whenever they unlock the SEED factor within themselves, only that Luka doesn't have one."

The Unicorn and Ventorus separated from each other as the Gundam fired its Beam Magnum as the Ventorus dodges the blasts as she was about to send her own before—

"ADMIRAL!" Shizuya and his team of Zakus fired their weapons as Shen yelled at them while the Ventorus and Unicorn dodged, "Don't get in my way!" Luka's roar echoed as he attacked her while they clash with beam sabers.

"I can't believe I fired...my beautiful Admiral's battlefield....I desecrated it!" Kazuya said in anxiety as he then growled in anger, "I WILL MAKE YOU PAY!" With hatred in his eyes, Kazuya gave out orders to his Zakus as they began to shoot at the Unicorn, which was a big mistake as the white Mobile Suit charged towards them, and that was then the slaughter began as everyone watched.

The first Zaku was blasted to bits, the second and third were chopped to pieces, and the fourth was destroyed as the Unicorn tackled it towards a rock before it stabbed the chest while Luka roared throughout the whole time.

"Good god...!" Natarle said in shock, "Anything else we need to know? Besides his power benefits, because he's just attacking everything on sight!" Mu asked.

"Well..." Minene looked down, "There is a downside...most likely a big one."

"No..." Miriallia dreaded as Minene finished, "If he's not in his right mind, he can't control it. Luka's lost sense of who and what he is...!"

"So..." Natarle began, "He has no idea on what he's doing since he's piloting it?" Minene shook her head, "Yes and no. Yes, he doesn't have any idea, and no, it's not him that's making the Gundam respond quickly and adapt to new strategies in battle."

"So, then what exactly is piloting that Mobile Suit?!"

"....The NT-D."

"Which stands for what...?" Sai asked as Minene answered in a tone full of nervousness, "«Newtype Destroyer System»."

Everyone gasped. A system programmed to destroy Newtypes?! Why did the creators install that kind of system into a Mobile Suit?!

"If the enemy is detected as a Newtype, then the NT-D will activate. It not only disengages the Unicorn's performance limiters, it also combines the paranormal interface of the Psycho Frame and the power to control any Psycommu weapons, making the Gundam a perfect Newtype-hunting machine."

Minene explained as Murrue shouted in disbelief, "But that's impossible! No ordinary human can handle it! And our enemies are all Coordinators unless...." Murrue began to catch on as Minene nodded, "It's possible. Within the ranks of ZAFT, there might be some Newtypes. And even if there are civilians who aren't part of ZAFT or any other nation, hell, even if they aren't Newtypes.....it will immediately hunt them down."

"So...there's a possibility that the Unicorn...can hunt Coordinators and Naturals also?!" Kuzzey asked in fright as Minene confirmed, "Exactly...!"

Kazuya trembled in fear as the white Mobile Suit was in the air with its eyes glowing. In his point of view, he didn't see a Natural, a Coordinator, a Mobile Suit, or a Gundam. All he could see was....
"A white....devil...!"

The Unicorn laid motionless as Luka panted before he once again roared loudly, "RRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWRRRRRRRRRGH!" The Unicorn let out similar cry too, sounding more and more like a beast. Out of fear, Kazuya somehow brought out Funnels, as he sent them towards the Gundam before they all stopped as soon as the Unicorn saw them.

"What's wrong with these things?! Work! WORK! WORK, DAMN YOU!" He ranted before he became deadly silent as he noticed the small guns slowly turning towards him before....

BLA-BLA-BLA-BLA-BLA-BLA-BLAMMMMMMM!

The Funnels blasted the Zaku to bits as a small light was seen from the Mobile Suit, meaning that Kazuya had ejected before things gone out of hand.

"He just took down Kazuya like it was nothing...!" Athrun said in shock. The attacks the Unicorn did just now weren't even human by ordinary human standards! The Unicorn turned as it saw the Silver Bullet, Ventorus, Aegis and Strike. The four pilots couldn't help but get the feeling that they went from hunters to being hunted.

"Luka?! Luka, can you hear me?! Luka!" Alisa called out as she borrowed the headphones to see if he can hear her. Everything was silent as not a response was heard.

"No response. Turn on the main audio." Murrue ordered as the main screen's audio was turned on, what they heard next was something that will haunt them in their dreams.

"....Destroy....." Miriallia widened her eyes with fear, and she wasn't the only one.

"Destroy....destroy.....destroy....!" Luka's eyes flashed as he boosted the Unicorn towards the four Mobile Suits in front of him, "DESTROOOOOOYYYYYYYYY!"

The Unicorn went on an all-out attack as Luka howled like a beast. While clashing with his Beam Saber, Nox called out to Athrun, "Athrun! Pull back, now!"

"But—!"

"Your Mobile Suit won't make it through this battle, go! Now!"

Reluctantly, Athrun obeyed as Kira noticed, "Athrun!" Immediately, the Strike gave chase while the Ventorus and Silver Bullet Suppressor fought the Unicorn Gundam.

"RAAAAAAAAWR!" Luka roared out loud as Miriallia cried while Alisa comforted her, "It's horrible...he's acting like a wild animal...!"

"Luka! Return to your senses! LUKA!" Minene called out to the orphan that went berserk. 'That damned program should have been terminated long ago!' She thought.

As the Unicorn and Silver Bullet cross swords and parry with each blow, Shen in the Ventorus takes this chance to ready herself for another opening attack before she gasps when she saw that her lover's Mobile Suit loses its arm.

"Nox!"

[I'm fine,] Nox told her as he got a new arm, [Just concentrate. When you see an opening, fire!]

Shen nodded as she charges up her energy shot as the two Mobile Suits fight each other before the Ventorus fires a powerful charge shot which hits the Unicorn, causing an explosion that blinded everyone briefly as Shen called out as Heliopolis blows everything away due to it being destroyed in the process.

"Let's go, darling!"

Nox nodded as the two Mobile Suits flew away while the smoke slowly clears while the harsh blowing wind slowly stops.

"....Where's the Unicorn?" Minene asked as the smoke finally cleared to reveal the Unicorn still in its Destroy Mode which powered down as it went back into its normal form.

Everyone was in shock as they saw the amount of destruction caused.

It was a terrifying start, but, nonetheless....this was the beginning of a journey....a journey full of war, hate, despair, romance.....and possibility.

(Instrumental) The camera pans to a desert with the Gundam pilots and their Gundams behind them, but each one is damaged or destroyed.

(Arifureta yasashisa wa kimi wo) Luka, Miri and Cagalli stand next to each other with the Unicorn behind them, but it's missing its tonfas, the shoulder armor was broken, and both of its legs were a little burnt while a certain Gundam from the  Netflix movie is seen but has lost most of its armor.

(Toozakeru dake) Nox looks up at the night sky with his Silver Bullet behind him, but it lost both arms and part of its fin was broken.

(Tsumetaku kimi suteta kokoro wa) Murrue looked at a grave that had a necklace on it.

(Samayou bakari) Mu looks at the sky while the Moebius Zero was damaged and scarred.

(Sonna kakko warusa ga) Sai looks behind as he and Flay sit on a broken metal plank while Tolle and Kuzzey examine a broken piece of a ship.

(Ikiru to iu koto nara) Celia and Shen sitting together as they look at their Mobile Suits with looks of sympathy as both were damaged and were missing parts.

(Samuzora no shita) The Le Creuset team were gathered as their Gundams were damaged.

(Me wo tojite iyou) Kira and a certain pink-haired singer stood next to each other with the Strike behind them except only its head and torso with the faceplate melted are left.

(Anna ni issho data no ni) The camera changes to Luka who lets out a roar due the NT-D activated as his eyes glow red while the Unicorn Gundam Destroy Mode attacks the Silver Bullet Suppressor.

(Yuugure wa mou chigau iro) The camera changes to Kira facing away from Flay as she runs for him with Kira's friends behind her.

(Semete kono tsuki akari shite de) The Gundams walk through a burning inferno as their eyes flashed.

(Shizuka na nemuri wo) The camera changes to the Strike, Unicorn, and the familiar Gundam from the Hathaway movie with the Gundam pilots and the crew of the Archangel on their shoulders.

(Instrumental) Luka and Kira stand back-to-back with their eyes closed as Lacus and Cagalli appear behind them and performs a silent prayer as the screen vanishes in flurry of white feathers.

«NEXT MISSION»

With the collapse of Heliopolis, the Archangel is left alone in space, with no place to call home. The passengers on it struggle to accept the cruel reality that is happening to them. The enemy is still on the prowl, with Commander Le Creuset and Major Leonis right on their tails.

A plan to escape is made, but it can't work without the Gundams. Luka still pilots the Unicorn despite what happened to him, curious about its potential while Kira refuses to pilot the Strike.
