Chapter 3: An Unexpected Intervention

Time: 13:39 hrs.

Date: August 4, 2116 A.D.

Location: Tokyo, Neo Japan

Weather Condition: Windy

*battle alarms trigger*

Their conversation was interrupted when both of the Gundams' battle alarms were triggered.

Aina: The battle alarm.

Tegaru: Something's coming our way.

Aina: Tegaru, above us!

As both Gundams looked up to the sky, a Gundam of blue and white is descending from the sky.

Aina: Tegaru, is that......?

Tegaru: Yeah. It's a Gundam. But I've never seen anything like it. What a strange body composition. Who designed that thing?

As the mysterious blue Gundam landed a few feet near the RX-78-2 and the Dominion, it faced their direction.

After the blue Gundam landed, Tegaru tried to contact Aina/the RX-78-2 but their communication lines were being jammed.

Aina: Tegaru, what's happening?

Tegaru: Our communications are being jammed. I think it's that blue Gundam's doing. Where the hell this Gundam did even came from? The A.E.U.? The H.R.L.? Londo Bell? The Vist Foundation? Neo Zeon? Gjallarhorn?

Aina: What should we do, Tegaru?

Tegaru: There's something to that Gundam that I can't point my finger on. Who the hell are you?

Tegaru created an open – channel transmission to the blue Gundam.

Tegaru: Unidentified mobile suit, state your affiliation and reason to enter an ongoing warzone. I repeat. State your affiliation and reason to enter an ongoing warzone. If you do not comply, we will use force to make you speak.

The blue Gundam didn't respond to Tegaru's warning. But from within the blue Gundam's cockpit, its pilot heard the transmission but can't send back a transmission unless it opens a private transmission line.

Blue Gundam's Pilot: 240082. Exia has targets location in sight. GN particle dispersal ceased upon arrival at targets.

Both the Dominion and the RX-78-2 won't be hearing what the blue Gundam's pilot is saying due to the mysterious unknown particles that are being emitted by the blue Gundam that's jamming the communication line.

Tegaru: Like I said earlier, if you don't comply, we will use force. Aina, draw out one of the RX-78-2's beam sabers.

Aina: Wait what? I can't kill!

Tegaru: You don't need to kill the pilot. Just restrain it by cutting of one of its limbs. This is another trial to prove you're a worthy pilot.

Aina: Oh, is that so? I see then. Roger that.

As the RX-78-2 drew out one of its beam sabers, it pointed it to the blue Gundam to make it talk.

Tegaru: If you won't comply in 10 seconds, we have no choice but to take you out!

Aina: Just say something already! I don't wanna kill you!

After 10 seconds, Tegaru had enough of the blue Gundam for not responding.

Tegaru: That's it! I had enough of you! Aina, attack that Gundam. Just decapitate one of its arms.

Aina: Ok, I'll see what I can do.

Blue Gundam's Pilot: Exia, eliminating targets.

*blue Gundam's eyes' flashes*

Before the RX-78-2 could attack, the blue Gundam flipped its sword in an idle movement and quickly slices off the RX-78-2's left arm in the blink of an eye.

Aina: W....What was that?!

Tegaru: That reaction speed, in just in the blink of an eye? Damn, who the hell created this Gundam?

Aina: It's not over yet!

The RX-78-2 draws out its other beam saber and swung it to the blue Gundam but the blue Gundam quickly cuts off the RX-78-2's right arm in an incredible speed.

Tegaru: Aina! Stop! You're no match against that Gundam!

After the blue Gundam cuts off the RX-78-2's right arm, it executed an elbow strike to knock the RX-78-2 down to the ground without harming Aina from within.

Tegaru: Aina!

Aina: I'm alright, Tegaru. I just got knocked down.

Tegaru: Are you hurt?

Aina: No, not really.

Tegaru: What's with this mysterious Gundam? Whose side is this guy even fighting for? It's reaction speed is unbelievable.

After the RX-78-2 was knocked down by the blue Gundam, the Dominion picked up the Destroyer Sword lying on the ground.

Tegaru: Hey you! Leave her alone! Come and face me!

As the Dominion raises its sword, it swung the sword downward targeting the blue Gundam but the blue Gundam quickly draws out a beam saber and blocks the Dominion's sword attack.

After the blue Gundam blocked the Dominion's sword attack, it fended off the Dominion and the blue Gundam's sword folded idle to reveal the muzzle of a small hidden beam rifle. After the hidden beam rifle was reveal, the blue Gundam aimed and fired the beam rifle at the Dominion's hand causing the Dominion to drop its armament.

After the Dominion loses its sword, the blue Gundam aimed and fired its beam rifle at the Dominion's knee joint causing for the Dominion to lose its right shin and fall down to the ground.

Aina: Tegaru!

Tegaru: I'm fine. Damn it, this blue Gundam's a nuisance. Who the hell created you? Who are you working for?

After the blue Gundam's attack, it drew back its beam saber and flew away from its current spot..

As the blue Gundam was about to leave the area, the Wing Gundam Fenice/Heather detected the Dominion's reactor and is nearby their area. As the Fenice arrives, Heather saw the blue Gundam and her transmission line is starting to jam.

Heather: Is that another Gundam? But from who? *communication lines becomes static* what the? Why is the transmission line jamming?

After Heather saw the blue Gundam, Tegaru saw the Fenice flying up in the air and quickly opened a transmission line to the Fenice.

Tegaru: Heather! Beware of that Gundam!

Heather: Tegaru? Where are you?

Tegaru: Look down below you.

As the Fenice looked down from above, Heather saw the Dominion and the RX-78-2 lying on the ground with damaged parts.

Heather: Why is there a jam in the transmission lines?

Tegaru: It's that Gundam's doing. It's emitting some sort of particles that causes the jam in the transmission lines.

Heather: What the hell happened? Did that mysterious blue Gundam did this to your Gundams?

Tegaru: Who else do you think, huh? Of course it's the mysterious Gundam's doing.

Heather: That sarcasm was unnecessary. But, I'll take it out. 

[Meanwhile with the blue Gundam]

As the blue Gundam was leaving the area, it detected an incoming beam attack and quickly dodged it.

Blue Gundam's Pilot: A beam attack? Where from?

As the blue Gundam turned around, the Wing Gundam Fenice fired another beam attack as the blue Gundam dodged the attack.   

Heather: You can't escape from me. 

After the blue Gundam dodged the attack, it aimed and fired its beam rifle at the Fenice as it dodged the attack.

Blue Gundam's Pilot: Tch. This one's faster than the others.

Before the Fenice could fire another beam shot, Heather detected an incoming beam attack from below and quickly evaded the attack. 

Heather: What was that beam attack?

As the Fenice looked at the direction to where the beam came from, Heather saw a white Gundam with red hair that looks like the mysterious blue Gundam flying up to her direction with its beam rifle pointed at her. 

Heather: A white Gundam with red hair? Just who the hell is manufacturer of these Gundams?

As the Fenice aimed its Buster Rifle Custom at the white Gundam, it fired a powerful beam shot but the white Gundam dodged it quickly.   

Heather: It dodged that attack so quickly? Very well then, if ranged combat is not your type, let's do close combat shall we?

With the Fenice's Beam Rapier drawn out, the Fenice pointed its Beam Rapier at the white Gundam while charging its way to it. As both Gundams get closer to each other, the white Gundam draws out a beam blade out of the tip of its beam rifle. 

Heather: That white Gundam's rifle can emit a beam blade? Not bad.

As both Gundams got even closer, they both clashed beam swords. 

Within the white Gundam's cockpit, a young blonde female pilots the white Gundam with red hair. And the female pilot is no other than Catherine Mackenzie.

While the white Gundam has the Fenice's attention, she opened a private transmission line to the blue Gundam.

Cathy: Gundam Exia, I'll take care of the Fenice. Get outta here while you can, you've accomplished your mission.

Exia's Pilot: Roger.

It is now clear that the blue Gundam's name is Exia, Gundam Exia.

As Exia leaves the area, the Fenice is still in battle against the white Gundam. As both Gundams battle each other, the Fenice is slowly being lured away from the Dominion's area by the white Gundam.

[With Gundam Exia]

While Exia is leaving the warzone, it came upon another battle between the Federation mobile suits against the Neo Zeon mobile suits near the docks.    

Exia's Pilot: I've accomplished my mission she says. Heh, I guess you're wrong with that memo.

The Gundam Exia has sighted the Gundam Heavy – Arms Custom along with the GM III and the Guncannon wiping out the remaining Neo Zeon mobile suits one – by – one.

[With the Heavy – Arms/Enzo]

Enzo: Alright guys, there's only a few of them left. Let's take them out!

Juliet 007: Let's do this!

Romeo 082: Roger that!

After the Heavy –Arms took out 3 more Zee Zulu units, Exia from above fired its beam rifle at the remaining Neo Zeon mobile suits.

After Exia took out the remaining Neo Zeon mobile suits, the Heavy – Arms, the GM III and the Guncannon looked up to the sky and saw the Gundam Exia just above them.

Romeo 082: Is that what I think it is?

Juliet 007: Yeah. It's a Gundam.

Enzo: But look at its overall design. It's not like any of the other Gundams we have.

Juliet 007: Where did this one come from?

Enzo: I don't know. 

Enzo and the other pilots were curious to know where Exia came from. After a few moments, Enzo opened a transmission line to the Gundam Exia.

Enzo: I don't know who you are or where you came from. But thanks for the back – up.

Gundam Exia's pilot didn't respond. Instead, Exia aimed and fired its beam rifle at the GM III's beam spray gun causing it to explode and decapitating its right arm in the process.

Romeo 082: Juliet 007! Hey you! What's the big idea?! Whose side are you fighting with?!

Enzo: Juliet 007, are you alright? Say 'Lasagna' if you are alright.

Juliet 007: What's your problem with lasagna, Ensign Marquez?!

Romeo 082: He's fine alright.

Enzo: *chuckles* Works every time. Alright you guys, you go head back to base. I'll handle this one.

Romeo 082: Roger that.

Juliet 007: Thanks! Good luck with that one.

As both the Guncannon and the damaged GM III left the area and returns to base, the Heavy – Arms fires its Twin Beam Gatling Gun at Exia as it dodged the attack.   

Enzo: Tch. This one's quick! Amazing, I've never seen a Gundam that fast. But not fast enough.

[Meanwhile at the Fenice/Heather vs. the white Gundam/Cathy] 

As both Gundams clashed swords, the Fenice swung its Beam Rapier to force back the white Gundam.

After the white Gundam was forced back by the Fenice, it flew toward the Fenice and swung its beam sword down targeting the Fenice but it dodged the attack. 

Heather: You're fast. But my Wing Gundam Fenice is faster!

*Fenice raises up its Beam Rapier* 

Heather: Checkmate.

Before the Fenice could attack the white Gundam, it swung its beam sword up slicing off the Fenice's left arm with the Beam Rapier. 

Cathy: I'm sorry.........Lieutenant Sanchez.

Heather: What the - - - - - This one's tough. Who the hell are you? 

Then the white Gundam kicked the Fenice hitting down hard on the ground damaging its wings and back booster.  

After the Fenice crashes down to the ground, Heather tried to raise and aim the Fenice's Buster Rifle Custom at the white Gundam but the Fenice won't respond to Heather's movements.

Heather: What the hell? I can't move! That white Gundam...........

A few seconds later,the white Gundam draws back its beam blade and leaves the area.    

Cathy: This is Catherine Mackenzie, Gundam Nadleeh, mission complete, now leaving the area.

It is revealed that the name of the white Gundam is Nadleeh, Gundam Nadleeh with Catherine Mackenzie as its pilot.

A few moments later, Heather tried to contact the other ally mobile suit pilots including Tegaru, Hiroshi and Enzo.

Heather: Hello? Can anyone hear me? This is Lieutenant Heather Sanchez in the Wing Gundam Fenice requesting for back – up. Eliminate that white Gundam with the red hair – like cables. I repeat, eliminate that white Gundam with the red hair – like cables.  

Tegaru: That's not gonna work Heather. *coughs*

Heather: Ensign Tegaru? Can the Dominion still move?

Tegaru: *opens video transmission* Hell no. That blue Gundam shot the Dominion's right leg. How the hell do you expect me to help you out?

After Tegaru opened a video transmission to the Fenice, Heather saw Tegaru with half of his face and his left arm covered with a few shrapnel of metal from the cockpit's material. 

Heather: Well looks like you had a rough day. Ensign Hiroshi is with you right? Well then ask him instead and use the RX-78-2 to help me out here. Its legs are still intact right?

Tegaru: Heh, you wish. Legs aren't just for show you know. The RX-78-2's legs are still together alright, but it lost its arms. Also Hiroshi's not piloting the RX-78-2 right now.

Heather: Huh? What do you mean? Where the hell is Hiroshi and who's piloting the RX-78-2 right now?

Tegaru: To put it simple, Hiroshi got his left arm injured due to the shock he and the Gundam absorbed from the Gouf's beam rifle shot and got out of the Gundam and is now somewhere out there searching for survivors within the city, I think. And someone took Hiroshi's place as the RX-78-2's pilot.

Heather: WHAT?! Who's piloting the RX-78-2 right now?!

Tegaru: It's better for you to meet HER instead. 

Heather: Wait, HER? Who's she?

Tegaru: Aina? *coughs* you wouldn't mind would you?

Aina: Sure. *opens video transmission* I wouldn't mind to. Hi there.

After Aina opened a video transmission to the Fenice, Heather was shock to see a girl with pink hair and turquoise eyes wearing a green long – sleeve polo and a small portion of her forehead bleeding.

Heather: What the - - Who is she?

Tegaru: Heather,this is Aina Kazuki. She's a transfer student to a school I attend to. She's from Shibuya by the way. A beautiful place here in Neo Japan.    

Heather: WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU AND HIROSHI THINKING?! You two have let a mere civilian pilot that Gundam?! This is an intervention classified from the civilians like her.

Tegaru: Look,I'll explain the details later. She did well out there you know; she took out one of our prototype mobile suits, the GINN, that was stolen by those Zeons. And, as a bonus point, she also took out Ramba Ral's Gouf, without him being killed. We have a chance talk make him talk to what Full Frontal is up to next.But, right now, call HQ for back – up and assistance; I'll go check on her to see if she has any injuries.    

Heather: Oh, so you're telling me to go and call HQ for help while YOU, on the other hand, aide that girlfriend of yours? How embarrassing, Ensign Nishida. That's not gonna go well to your report card.

Both Tegaru and Aina blushed after to what Heather said.

Aina: Wait what? No, I'm not his girlfriend. You're getting the wrong idea here.

Tegaru: Don't drop and rush to any conclusions Lieutenant, she's not my girlfriend; I don't plan to have one. And also, you expect the Dominion's transmission line can reach HQ at its current state like this?    

Heather: How come you can communicate with me huh?

Tegaru: That's because we're very near to each other you dumb – ass. The Dominion can't do long – distance communications. Aina, drop the video transmission and open your hatch, I'm coming for you.

Aina: Hai, I will. *stops video transmission*

Heather: Wait, you never said anything like that.

Tegaru: *coughs* Well now I did, so shut the f*ck up and do your job, Lieutenant Heather Sanchez. *ends transmission*

After Tegaru ended the transmission to the Fenice, Heather punched the cockpit's front monitor screen with anger.

Heather: God damn it! That Nishida is getting on my nerves! You won't get away with this. What if your grandfather hears this?    

[Back to Gundam Exia vs. the Heavy – Arms/Enzo]

After Exia dodged a few attacks from the Heavy – Arms, it aimed and fired its beam rifle around the Heavy – Arms' surroundings but neither one shot hits the Heavy – Arms. 

Enzo: Stop messing around you punk!

*Heavy – Arms' eyes flash*

After the attack, the Heavy – Arms stood straight and opened both of its shoulder missile containers to reveal 54 Micro Missiles. It also opened its chest armor to reveal 4 six –barrel Chest Beam Gatling Guns. Lastly, it opened the single Homing missile pod on its right leg. Once everything was revealed, it aimed and fired all of its missiles and Chest Beam Gatling Guns at the Gundam Exia.   

Once the Heavy – Arms' missiles came closer to the Gundam Exia, it folded its sword idle and came closer to the projectiles and quickly swung its sword to its left to gain some force, then it swung the sword to its right, destroying all of the Heavy – Arms' missiles with one slash of the sword.    

*Gundam Exia's eyes flash*

Enzo: What.........the hell? All of my missiles are down with that Gundam's one sword slash? That's so over – powered.

After Exia's sword attack, it folded its sword idle once again to reveal the muzzle of its beam rifle. Then it aimed and fired its beam rifle at the Heavy – Arms' Homing Missile container on its right leg causing it to explode and decapitating it right shin and arm in the process. The Heavy – Arms eventually fell to the ground just like what happened to the Dominion Gundam.

Enzo: Damn it! This thing's a monster!

After the Heavy – Arms is down to the ground, Cathy opens a transmission to the Gundam Exia.

Cathy: Gundam Exia, meet me at the rendezvous point.

Exia's Pilot: Roger that. Gundam Exia, Alpha Bravo, mission complete, leaving the area and heading to the rendezvous point.

Exia then leaves the area with the intervention ended.    

[With Tegaru/Dominion Gundam]

Time: 15:41 hrs.

Weather Condition: Windy

After Tegaru opens the Dominion Gundam's cockpit hatch, he jumped out carrying a first aid kit with him and hurried over to the RX-78-2.

As he reached the RX-78-2's cockpit hatch, he knocked on the hatch.

Tegaru: Aina! Aina can you hear me? Open the hatch.

Aina: Ok. I'm on it.

After Aina opened the hatch, Tegaru saw a large scratch on Aina's left arm and a little bit of bleeding from her left forehead.

Aina: *smiles* Hi Tegaru. Don't worry I'm fine.

Tegaru: Sh*t,you don't look like you're fine in that.    

After a few moments, Aina saw Tegaru's left arm and a portion of his left face bleeding and covered with a few small metal shrapnel.

Aina: *gasps* Tegaru.....your left arm and face......

Tegaru: Oh, this? *smiles* this is nothing. I'm fine, Aina. Does that scratch there hurt?

Aina: No, not that much. You need that first aid kit more than I do. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine.

Tegaru: Aina, this is nothing but an ant bite. It's not like I'll lose a lot of blood because of this.

Aina: But.....you....

Tegaru: I'll be fine. Now let me take care of that scratch of yours before it gets worse. 

As Tegaru enters the RX-78-2's cockpit, he gently grabs Aina's grazed arm, took out a bottle of rubbing alcohol from the first aid kit and applied it to a small towel and rubbed it carefully around the scratch on her arm.

Aina flinched a little as Tegaru rubs the towel with rubbing alcohol on her scratch.

Tegaru: I'm sorry, does it hurt?

Aina: Not that much. It's just.....strange you know?

Tegaru: Strange? In what way?

Aina: I don't know. It's just that - - - - 

Their conversation was cut – off when Enzo came in through the RX-78-2's transmission line.

Enzo: Hello? Ally mobile suits this is Ensign Lorenzo Marquez in the Gundam Heavy – Arms Kai requesting for assistance! Please, anyone respond to my location!

Tegaru lays the towel with alcohol on Aina's scratch and answers Enzo's call.

Tegaru: Ensign Lorenzo Marquez this is Ensign Tegaru Nishida, please respond.

Enzo: Tegaru! I'm glad you're safe. Is Aina safe with you?

Tegaru: Yeah she's safe. She just got a small injury and that's it. What happened to you?

Enzo: Tch. A blue Gundam wiped out the reaming Zeon mobile suits and attempted to destroy one of our GM III units.

Tegaru: And the Heavy – Arms?

Enzo: That blue Gundam shot the Heavy – Arms' Homing Missile container on its right leg. Both the right leg and arm is gone bro.

Tegaru: That Gundam.....it's nothing like the other Gundams the Federation had before. From what we've seen earlier, it has great reaction speed, unlike to our advanced mobile suits. What do you think? What's your insight on it?

Enzo: I don'tknow, Tegaru. Let's talk about this later. You go take care of Aina while I call for assistance. Go and make your move bro. *ends transmission*    

Tegaru: Wait what? 'Make your move'? What the hell does that supposed to mean? Never mind that.

After Enzo ended the transmission, Tegaru went back to healing Aina's scratch. A few moments later when the scratch is no longer that worse, he took out a gauze roll and wrapped it around Aina's arm to where the scratch is.

Tegaru: There. That scratch won't be there long enough.

Aina: Arigato,Tegaru. 

Tegaru then takes out another small towel, folded it and wiped off the small amount of blood on Aina's forehead. Then he took out shorter gauze roll and wrapped it around the top of Aina's head.

Tegaru: There you go. You won't look like a mummy in that. *chuckles* don't worry.

Aina: *blushes* Arigato, this is too much.

Tegaru: Nah. It's nothing. *sighs* you did well back there actually; you're worthy to become a mobile suit pilot. I mean, you got the skills. They just needed proper guidance.

Aina: You think so?

Tegaru: Yeah.

Aina: Can I ask you something?    

Tegaru: Sure. Go ahead.

Aina: Back with your transmission with Ms. Heather, you told her that you don't plan to have a girlfriend. Did you really mean that?

Tegaru: Honestly, I don't know. I'm not quite sure what to say back there. It's either I'm not good at having a normal conversation with girls or I'm still not ready to get into a relationship. Or, I just haven't found the girl who will help me with that or make me feel that I'm really in love.

Aina: I see. . . . . Are you sure you're ok with those......metal shrapnel on you? It looks disturbing on you.

Tegaru: It is? I'm fine, it's not like I'll pass out or something.    

Aina: Are you sure?

Tegaru: Yeah, I'm sure. I've gone way worse than this one before.

Aina: It's like you're indestructible person or something. Like a demon.

Tegaru: *smiles* Well thanks for the compliment. I have been called a demon/devil by a lot of my enemies in the past until the present today. Earlier back there, you've shown good moves. Where did you learn how to pilot a mobile suit?

Aina: Well,this is just my first time piloting one. I think it's just my "fight or flight"reaction. 

Tegaru: I don't think those were your reactions, it's like you had it in you.

Aina: I guess so.

A few moments later, their conversation was interrupted when Hiroshi radioed the RX-78-2.

Hiroshi: Aina? Aina, can you hear me? Please respond.

Aina: Hiroshi I'm fine here.

Hiroshi: Thank goodness you're fine. So, did you get them?    

Tegaru: Oh she got them alright.

Hiroshi: Tegaru? You're with her?

Tegaru: Of course, I'm in the RX-78-2's cockpit with her.

Hiroshi: The hell you in there for?

Tegaru: She had a few minor injuries so I came to aide her.

Hiroshi: Awww that's so sweet of you two.

Aina: *blushes* Wait what? Don't get the wrong idea.

Tegaru: Yeah it's not what you think Hiroshi.

Hiroshi: Yeah sure you do. Anyway what happened there?    

Tegaru: Well, it turns out that those Zeons not only managed to snatch one of the most powerful Gundam arsenals but they also hijacked one of our prototype mobile suits.

Hiroshi: Yes it's the GINN; I know that because I saw that earlier before Aina started piloted the RX-78-2. Even Enzo is aware of that.

Tegaru: Aina took out the GINN as well as old man Ral's Gouf.

Hiroshi: Whoa really? I thought she can't kill? 

Aina: I didn't kill the pilots ok? I aimed where they can't be harmed. I guess.

Hiroshi: Well good for you then. Speaking of old man Ral, where is he? And the Gouf?

Tegaru: He's just near our crash site. The RX-78-2 lost both of its arms to the blue Gundam.

Hiroshi: What blue Gundam?

Tegaru: I'll explain the details later. As of now, we got more business to attend to.

Hiroshi: What do you plan to do next boi?   

Tegaru: Retrieve Ramba Ral and make him talk to what Full Frontal is up to next. We still have a lot to discuss.

Hiroshi: Good plan. Good luck on that.

Tegaru: Where are you by the way?

Hiroshi: Oh I've just been circling the city, looking for survivors.

Tegaru: Only on your own feet? You're insane!

Hiroshi: I had to; I had no other modes of transportation now that my left arm's busted. Also,I need you to know one thing.    

Tegaru: What is it?

Hiroshi: I spotted Dennis De Silva and his crew earlier. They seem to have a digital camera with them. And they were heading to your direction while you were in combat with Ramba.

Aina: *gasps* Dennis.......De........Silva......?

Tegaru: What's wrong Aina? Is something bothering you?

Hiroshi: Looks like Dennis is hunting you down for real this time.

Tegaru: Did you track them down? Where are they right now?

Hiroshi: I lost them. Somehow I've managed to rescue a few survivors.

Tegaru: How many survivors? 

Hiroshi: 6, one of them is Class President Amanda.

Tegaru: Amanda Hudson?

Hiroshi: Yeah, I'm not sure how she did manage to get into the battlefield but I think it's better if we send them to our witnesses' interrogation room back at base. Including Aina, this intervention's classified you know.

Tegaru: I'm aware of that. But something seemed to bother Aina when she heard Dennis' name.

Hiroshi: I think both of them had a past or something.

Tegaru: Yeah, I think so too.

Hiroshi: What do you plan to do with Aina in her current condition?

Tegaru: I don't actually know, but I'll figure out something, I'll first listen to her story then we draw a conclusion.

Hiroshi: Sounds like a plan, I like that.    

Tegaru: Alright then, go and take those survivors back to base. Call the base for a vehicle that'll accommodate all of you guys there. Also send one to my area; we have a guest to bring back home.

Hiroshi: I got you bro, I'll be sending one right away, Ensign Hiroshi Hayashi moving out.

Tegaru: Good luck bro. Ensign Tegaru Nishida, over and out. 

*transmission ends*

After the transmission with Hiroshi, Tegaru checked on Aina to see if she's ok. She was trembling a bit so Tegaru gently holds her hand for her to calm down.

Tegaru: Hey Aina, are you alright?

Aina: *takes a deep breath* *sighs* Yeah, I'm fine.

Tegaru: What's with you and Dennis De Silva? Do you know him or something?

Aina: Yeas I know him, he was my former classmate back since 4th grade at Shibuya. But to think he's now here at Tokyo, I don't want to experience the pain like before.   

Tegaru: Is that so? Very well then, tell me more about that later when we get back to base. I actually hate that guy (Dennis). As of now, we will be taking care of business.

Aina: What are you gonna do next?

Tegaru: Bringing the old man to base. 

Aina: You mean that pilot in that blue mobile suit?

Tegaru: Yeah. Let's go.

As Tegaru and Aina jumped out of the Gundam's cockpit, Tegaru draws out a pistol from his pocket and went to the Gouf to where it fell down as Aina followed him. As Tegaru gets near the Gouf, he reloads the pistol with a new magazine. 

Aina: Wait, Tegaru, you're not gonna kill him are you?

Tegaru: Nope, I'm just gonna help the old man get out of his hell hole. Besides, we need him to answers some of our questions.

When Tegaru reached the Gouf, he climbed up to its cockpit area and shot the corners of the cockpit hatch with the pistol to make the hatch open. 

After Tegaru shot the hatch's corners, the cockpit hatch opens to reveal Ramba Ral with his eyes closed and arms crossed. After the cockpit hatch opened, Tegaru pointed the gun at Ramba.

Tegaru: No sign of any injuries? You're a tough old man. I respect that.

Ramba: The Red Devil.........

Tegaru: In the living flesh.

Ramba: You don't look so well boy. Heh, I must've gone wild back there.

Tegaru: We both did. But difference is; I got a scratch or two. 

Ramba: Who was the pilot of that Gundam earlier? Those moves weren't like the Green Devil's moves. Did they swap pilots earlier or something?

Tegaru: That's none of your business.

Ramba reaches out his arms as if Tegaru will hand cuff him.

Tegaru: Givingup so easily? That's not like you, Ramba.    

 Ramba: I bet you've prepared some questions for me to answer.

Tegaru: Wait, how did you - - -

Ramba: Open – channel transmission boy, you still have much to learn.

Tegaru: *smirks* you got me there old man.

Tegaru then draws back his pistol and takes out a pair of handcuffs and cuffed Ramba while he's still sitting in the Gouf's cockpit.

Tegaru: Wait here until our ride comes, old man.

Ramba: Take it easy there young man.

Tegaru: Oh I'm easy here alright.

Aina: Tegaru? Are you alright up there?

Tegaru: Yeah, stay put down there, and wait for the Federation's armored van.

Ramba: You brought your lover with you? What a change my boy. I never knew you would find love.

Tegaru: Shut up, she's not my girlfriend ok? Who you heard is the girl who kicked your ass.

Ramba: That girl? I don't believe you Nishida. It's impossible for her to pilot one.

Tegaru: You're just being a sexist. Don't you believe in girl power?

Time: 13:37 hrs.

Weather Condition: Windy

A few moments later, Tegaru heard an incoming vehicle. As he turned around, he saw 4 navy blue colored armored vans approaching their direction. As one of the vans stopped at the Gouf's feet, came down the van was Tegaru's grandfather, General Emilio Nishida.

After Tegaru saw his grandfather come out of the van, he immediately came down from the Gouf and went to him.

Tegaru: General Nishida. *salutes*

Emilio: Ensign Nishida *salutes* Goodness, grandson are you alright?

Tegaru: Yeah, I'm fine pops. This is nothing.

Emilio: I knew you'd say that. So, I heard you got Lieutenant Ramba Ral with you?

Tegaru: Yes sir. I got him cuffed in the Gouf's cockpit, still intact, no injuries whatsoever.

Emilio: I knew you were the perfect person for this job. It's a good thing you didn't kill him yet.

Gen. Nishida ordered the soldiers to get Ramba Ral out of the Gouf's cockpit and get him safely to one of the armored vans.

Tegaru: Actually, I didn't take him out.

Emilio: Oh? Then who took him out?

Tegaru calls Aina to come near him.

Tegaru: General Emilio Nishida, meet Aina Kazuki. She is a transfer student from Shibuya. She used the RX-78-2 to disarm the Gouf. Aina, this is my grandfather, he's the Head General of the Earth Federation Forces Tokyo Base.

Aina: It's nice to meet you sir.

Gen. Emilio looks at Aina with curiosity as if he knows her.

Emilio: Young lady, you somehow look familiar.

Tegaru: I just said the same thing earlier.

Emilio: *smiles* No sh*t Sherlock. *chuckles*

After the soldiers got Ramba Ral out of the Gouf's cockpit, they brought him to the armored van.As they get closer to Tegaru, Aina and Gen. Emilio, Gen Emilio stopped them fora moment. 

Emilio: Lieutenant Ramba Ral, it's been a while.

Ramba: General Emilio Nishida, same goes to you.

Emilio: Looks like the Gouf was pretty beaten up really well eh?

Ramba: Yup, but here I am, still alive and kicking.

Emilio: To think that a young teenage girl with no experience in piloting a mobile suit could defeat you, that's sounds funny.*chuckles*

As Gen. Emilio and Ramba were in the middle of their conversation, Tegaru and Aina approached them.

Tegaru: Hey old man Ral.

Ramba: What do you want now?

Tegaru: Meet the girl who defeated you. Aina Kazuki.

Ramba: Kazuki?!

After Ramba saw Aina, he has that shocked expression on his face.

Tegaru: What's wrong old man? Cat got your tongue?

Emilio: That's enough my grandson. I think Ramba here knows what's going on here and who she is.

Tegaru: What do you mean grandpa?

Gen. Emilio ordered the soldiers to bring Ramba in the armored van. As the soldiers were bringing Ramba to the van, he never left his line of sight to Aina.

Ramba: It's her! The daughter of Ronin Matsunaga! I can tell it by her eyes! I thought Matsunaga's family was dead for good!?

Aina: What? He knows my father?

Tegaru: Wait, your father, is Ronin Matsunaga? The one who piloted the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam during the Second Neo Zeon War??

Emilio: Yes she is Tegaru. Why? She's got her father's eyes and her mother's hair color and attitude.

Tegaru: Grandpa, you knew?

Emilio: I know a lot of things, grandson. Even you at your current intelligence and understanding still need a lot of learning.

After Aina heard Ramba about her father, she held her mouth as both of her legs were shaking a little and she was almost to cry.

As Tegaru noticed a few tears coming out from Aina's eyes, he gave her a hug to comfort her.

Aina: Tegaru?

Tegaru: No need to cry, Aina. It's alright, I know it's tough but you'll get through this.

Aina: Tegaru........I........

Tegaru: I know what you're feeling, Aina. I too lost both of my parents and my little brother during the Second Neo Zeon War without knowing the reason. Even grandpa doesn't the suspects to their death.    

Aina: Tegaru......

As both Tegaru and Aina parted from the hug, Tegaru takes out his handkerchief and gave it to Aina.

Aina took the handkerchief, and wiped her tears with it and gave it back to Tegaru.

Tegaru: Feeling better?

Aina: Hai, arigato. You're the first person to really understand my pain.

Tegaru: Noproblem. We both suffer the same pain.    

Aina: Yeah, we do. *smiles*

Emilio: Alright you two, let's get back to base. Aina, I'll give you a chance to talk to Lieutenant Ral about your father.

Aina: Really sir?

Emilio: Yes. After all, you still need to know more about your father. Tegaru also went through that pain you're experiencing right now. Even he doesn't know the truth yet. But we'll find it out sooner or later.

Aina: Thankyou very much sir!    

Emilio: No worries. Besides, your father is a very close friend of mine.

Aina: He is?

Emilio: Yeah. Ensign Tegaru.

Tegaru: Yes sir? 

Emilio: I'll take care of Lieutenant Ral from here.You and Aina wait here instead until another armored van comes here with 4 GMIII units to pick up the Gundams and the Gouf. Ensign Hiroshi along with a Guncannon is on their way to retrieve the survivors and Lieutenant Sanchez with the Fenice to take it back to base.

Tegaru: Yes sir!

As Gen. Emilio boards the armored van, it left their spot and went back to the Tokyo Base leaving Tegaru and Aina at the foot of the Gouf, waiting for reinforcements to come and pick them up.

[With Hiroshi]

Time: 13:15 hrs.

Weather Condition: Windy

Hiroshi with the other survivors including Amanda Hudson, the Class President of Hiroshi's class, are waiting at the destroyed coffee shop for the incoming armored van that's supposed to pick them up.

Amanda Hudson is a young teenage girl with black eyes and orange hair. She wears a brown polo and black jeans as her school attire.   

Amanda: So, Hiroshi. You got your left arm busted by the Gouf eh?

Hiroshi: Yeah? What about it?

Amanda: Nothing.It's just that, the RX-78-2 could lose to a mere Gouf in anyway somehow. 

Hiroshi: That's because the Gouf was equipped with the Gundam Mk. II's beam rifle. Its beam shot was so powerful that the RX-78-2's left arm wasn't strong enough to absorb the shock. I forced myself to ditch the shield to absorb less of the attack but it didn't work either way.

Amanda: So much for that information.    

Hiroshi: Hey, how come you're out here in the battlefield when you're duty is to secure the safety of the students?

Amanda: It's because after I saw you, Enzo and Tegaru went out of the emergency exit, Aina followed you as well. Then came after is Dennis De Silva and his crew. They followed you until you guys reached the Tokyo Base. 

Hiroshi: Yeah, I was aware of that. Dennis seems to have a camera with him when I saw him and his crew make their way to the Dominion Gundam while it was in battle with the Gouf. I was worried back there, thinking what would happen if Dennis proves to all of the students at school that Tegaru, and us, are secretly working for the Federation?

Amanda: Another conflict would rise between the civilians and the Federation. The peace between the economic blocs, the Earth Federation Force, Neo Zeon, and Gjallarhorn will be disturbed, and may lead to a start of a new war.

Hiroshi: Too late for that hope of yours.

Amanda: What do you mean? 

Hiroshi: What do I mean? The peace is over. Now that Neo Zeon has made their move just today, they've just provoked to start a new war. And somehow mysterious Gundams came to action with and against us not knowing which side are they.

Amanda: Then why did they attack just now? What do you think they want?   

Hiroshi: It's obvious. They came for Tegaru. Not only was he dubbed as the "Red Devil", but he was also dubbed as the "Key to the Box", as well as the Dominion Gundam who they believe it has the La+ Program. 

Amanda: The La+ Program? Laplace, you mean that Stanford Torus type space colony from almost a hundred years ago destroyed by a terrorist attack during the speech of Prime Minister Ricardo Marcenas?

Hiroshi: Exactly. After it was destroyed, everyone inside that colony including the terrorists themselves died in the attack. Except for one member of those terrorists, and you know his name.   

Amanda: Syam Vist, the founder of the Vist Foundation which only a few has knowledge about it, including our private group.

Hiroshi: Syam himself retrieved something that could turn the tides of everything we know in this world, the Charter of Anno Domini, known as "Laplace's Box".

Amanda: And Tegaru is the key to the Box they say? Is it true that the Dominion Gundam has the La+ Program in it?

Hiroshi: Even I don't know. The Dominion Gundam still has kept a lot of secrets ever since Tegaru's father died. Only his father knows about the Dominion Gundam.

Amanda: Why isit?    

Hiroshi: Because Takeshi Nishida is the engineer behind and the one who designed the Dominion Gundam, of course. Before his death, he entrusted the Dominion to his father, General Emilio Nishida, and to his son, Tegaru. The Dominion still has yet to show its true colors.    

Amanda: I guess we just have to wait and see then, until the right time comes.

Hiroshi: Yeah. We can't rush things to find a clearer answer.

Amanda: So what do we do now?    

Hiroshi: As of now, you wait for the armored vans to come while I go and search for the Fenice.

Amanda: That doesn't sound like a plan.

Hiroshi: Yeah it does.    

Before Hiroshi could leave, 2 armored vans are already heading toward them.

Hiroshi: So much for waiting.

Amanda: Alright,our ride's here.    

Hiroshi: Remember Amanda, take good care of them. We need them for interrogation, we need to convince them to shut their mouths and keep quiet about this operation or make them talk to what they've seen that we didn't. You know that.    

Amanda: Roger.

Hiroshi: Good, I'll be on my way now.

Amanda: Good luck. Wait, what about Tegaru?    

Hiroshi: Don't worry about that little rascal, Aina's with him. She piloted the RX-78-2 in my place remember? I'm sure both of them are safe, I hope.

Amanda: I hope so too.

As the armored vans passed Hiroshi, he found and picked up a cruiser bike lying on the ground with a few dents around its body frame.    

Hiroshi: This will do the trick.

As Hiroshi hopped on the bike, he pedaled as fast as he could and made his way to search for Heather and the Fenice.

Hiroshi: Hang in there Heather, I'm coming for you.    

[Back with Tegaru and Aina]

Time: 14: 21 hrs.

Weather Condition: Windy

After armored vans left Tegaru and Aina, both of them waited and looked after the Dominion, the RX-78-2 and the Gouf as they wait for the mobile suits and flatbed trucks to pick them up. Both of them are sitting at the opening of the Dominion's open cockpit hatch.    

Tegaru: We've been waiting here for some time now. Where the hell are the mobile suits that are supposed to pick us up?

Aina: Can't your Gundam move?

Tegaru: The Dominion just lost one of its legs, it can't walk you know.

Aina: Oh snap, I didn't realized that.

After a few moments,Tegaru jumped into the Dominion's cockpit to check on something.
