"Maui, stop sulking and get to work!" Moana said as she fixed the rope. Maui was still pouting about Moana, Pua, and Mini Maui not laughing about the joke. "Come on, Maui. You can come up with a better joke later on in this journey."
"And you're gonna react the same way," Maui said, still pouting.
"We're still long away from Reigna," Moana said as she sailed and looked at the map at the same time. Maui kicked the water, still pouting. "Maui, how old are you?"
"Why?" Maui asked, without turning.
"Because you're acting like a seven-year-old," Moana replied.
"Then maybe I'm seven," Maui sarcastically replied.
"There's no way I'd be dating a seven-year-old," Moana replied, taking his sarcasm.
"And you'd date a thousand-year-old?" Maui asked, with a little bit sass.
"Hey, sounds like you're feeling better," Moana turned to him.
"Does it look like it?" Maui showed his face.
"Well, I don't want you pouting all day," Moana walked towards him. "I should do something so that you can stop pouting."
"And what will that be?" Maui asked, still sulking. Moana held his cheeks and laid her lips on Maui's. She walked away, without saying a word, and kept sailing. Maui's face let out a very bright red shade, his eyes widened, and he was so surprised that he couldn't move any muscle on his face. Mini Maui raised his eyebrow with a smirk. Maui flicked him to his back without saying anything and changing his facial expression even for a little bit.
"Now don't sulk anymore," Moana said as she pulled on the rope. "We're almost at Reigna. We should get ready for fifteen creatures to capture in that region."
"Uh... okay..." Maui said.
At least he no longer has a sulking tone, Moana thought as she slightly smiled and blushed as she snickered silently. She watched Maui slowly get up and help Moana sail as he fixed the sail and rope on the other side of the connected boat. She was able to see him still blushing. I guess that surprise kiss made his mind go blank.
That was so unexpected, Maui thought as he still thought about the kiss.
"Do you think we're almost there?" Moana asked Maui.
"Yeah," he replied. "Like Lalotai, there is an entrance, so it's not an island. It's not so tall either, it's like a stone tablet."
"Ah, I see," she replied. "Is there a way to enter that place?"
"Human sacrifice," Maui teased with an extremely serious tone.
"All right," Moana took the joke.
"You know I'm being serious, right?" Maui teased even more with even more serious tone. But Moana didn't budge.
"I know, but I know you wouldn't do that to me," Moana said without looking at him. Maui smirked. "Is it that thing over there?"
Maui peaked over where she pointed. "Yeah, it is. Let's get ready to die, princess."
"I won't die," Moana said as she let out a really bright and warm smile. Maui analyzed her facial expressions. Maui thought that she should be a little bit stronger with her facial expressions.
"So you don't think fifteen creatures are gonna kill you?" Maui asked. "I mean, there are a lot more creatures that belong to Reigna and are not categorized as 'forbidden'. So you should know, this place is even worse than Lalotai."
"That's why we need help!" She said as she docked next to the large, flat stone tablet that is supposed to be the entrance of Reigna. "All right! Now open it!" Moana demanded.
"Fine," he groaned. Maui loudly chanted and stomped with such force. Then the entrance opened just like the entrance of Lalotai. "Take my hand, Moana," he said as he offered his hand to her.
"Why?" Moana asked.
"It's kind of dangerous alone," Maui said.
"Dangerous? Ha! Cheeee-hooooo!" Moana cried as she dived into Reigna.
"Moana! Uggh!" Maui dived in after her.
As Moana went down through the entrance of Reigna, a lot of disgusting monsters were caught in her vision. She was horrified by all the kinds of evil creatures that were roaring, shrieking, and drooling. Moana was very frightened by the sight of the disgusting creatures.
Just as I expected, Maui thought as he watched her face. Her facial expression was basically signaling that she is disgusted and horrified by all the creatures in Reigna.
"Oh dear," Moana said to herself as she looked around. She took out all fifteen charms. "How are we going to find all fifteen forbidden creatures?"
"Looks and sounds like you're worried," Maui said, but he expected this all along.
"I... I... uh..." She really didn't want to admit it.
"I am too, curly," Maui said. "I've never been here before. You've never been here before. And we have fifteen creatures to catch out of millions of evil spirits living all around here. But I have a plan, got it?" Maui asked. She gave no response. "You just need to trust me." He held Moana's shoulders. "Do you trust me?" He asked.
"Not really," Moana answered.
"I'll take that as a yes." He grabbed her arm and dragged her deeper into Reigna.
********
[Maui:]
Walking with Moana through the road of Reigna
We've got a job to do
We need to survive
So you're afraid, good!
It means you're alive
No matter what we face
We run the show
It's time to use your face
To let em know
Now take your fear, pain, joy, rage
Mix 'em up together into something that the world still hasn't seen
[Moana:]
What do you mean?
(She flinches as a huge creature, not part of the charm, creeping up behind him.)
[Maui:]
Warrior face.
(Turning and making a scary face) Ha!
Show 'em you mean business
With your warrior face. Ugh!
(To the three creatures that creeped upon him. Turning them into balloon)
Put 'em all in line (Descending)
(Opening the curtain that opens to the open area of Reigna)
When you face challenges and dangers
You fix your face to face the world
Prepare your face to face the world
[Maui:]
(Warrior stand and face) Ha!
[Moana:]
(Trying to imitate Maui) Ha...
[Maui:]
Pa-thetic
[Moana:]
(Eyes and mouth wide, not scary) Ah...
[Maui:]
Weak
[Moana:]
(Tries to be scarier) Hoo!
[Maui:]
You should've stayed home!
[Moana:]
(Making angry face) Rah!
[Maui:]
(Fixing her eyebrows and mouth) Better!
[Maui and Moana:]
(Facing each other, circling around)
Now make a face that puts the bad guys in their place
'Til they regret their decisions they made that day
Which led to standing in your way
Hey~! (A tentacle grabs Moana)
[Maui:]
Warrior face
[Moana:]
Hoo! (Intimidates the tentacle monster)
[Maui:]
Teach 'em there's no foolin'
With your warrior face (Grabs a monster and shows her)
[Moana:]
Ha! (The monster dies as it smashed into pieces)
[Maui:]
Show 'em what's in store (Grabs another monster to show her)
Warrior face
[Moana:]
Hah! (The monster flees)
[Maui:]
Knock 'em back and school 'em
With the face of a warrior
You have the face of a warrior
(Circles around Moana as she walks inside the cave)
It doesn't matter how you feel inside
Don't reveal inside
You keep it real inside
[Moana:]
Roar! (Moves Maui to the side to scare the monster behind him)
[Maui:]
You make a face that makes 'em terrified
You make 'em scared inside
Your teeth are bared, alright
[Moana:]
Shah! (Scares off all the reptile creatures around them)
[Moana & Maui:]
We're getting out of here alive
We're getting out of here alive
You're gonna help us to survive
I'm gonna help us survive
We're getting out of here alive
You're gonna help us to survive/I'm gonna help us to survive
With my/your...
[Maui:]
Warrior face!
[Moana:]
'Til it's second nature
Make my warrior face Ha!
Sing my warrior song
With my warrior face Hah!
(Notices a creature that looks like one of the charms and approaches it)
Time to demonstrate I've been a warrior all along.
Yes! I've been a warrior all along
Ooh-weh! (The monster faints)
********
Moana giggled as she placed the charm on the fainted monster. "That was pretty easy! I think I can get the rest of them at this rate!" Moana said proudly.
"I think you can do it on your own, really," Maui said. "Those monsters back there was really scared of your warrior's face."
"Is this really going to work out every single time?" Moana asked.
"It would," Maui said.
"Don't you think it'd be a good idea if we did a little face painting?" Moana asked. "It would make them even more scared and intimidated."
"Ummm... the thing is, Moana," Maui said. "I don't think that would be necessary. You're pretty scary enough that you don't need a face painting to make yourself look even scarier. Not only you're going to scare the monsters, but you're also gonna scare other mortal too!" Moana crossed her arms and tapped her foot. She was pretty pissed off by his insult. "Oh, Moana, don't sulk. I don't want you to sulk around all day." That made Moana snicker a little bit. "You laughed! I'm off the hook! ... Get it?" He snickered as he held up his hook and started to walk towards the direction where they can find the monsters that they are looking for. "Let's go! We have fourteen more to capture!"
Moana followed. "Hey, Maui," she called as she tapped him in the shoulder. When he turned to her, Moana made her warrior face. "Hah!"
"Gah!" Maui overreacted to tease her, but then he bumped into a large shell, rubbed his forehead to relieve the pain, and fell backward. "Ow, ow, ow..."
"You deserved it," Moana said as she watched Maui struggling with pain. "Anyways, let's go. We got fourteen more creatures to capture in this place."
They continued to walk towards the road of Reigna. All the other tried to attack Moana and Maui as they sneaked up to them, but then the combination of Moana and Maui's warrior face scared them off. "Rah!" The monsters either flinched and ran away, or they fainted at their spot. In their way, they were able to find at least two monsters that belonged to the charm that the amount was down to twelve. "Twelve more to go!" Moana whooped as she skipped with joy. Maui chuckled as he watched her skip by.
