Slaving Away For Tamatoa (Part 2)

One Shot #18 (Cont.)

Maui's POV

  I smirk at Tamatoa as I come out of the shadows. "Surprise, I'm back." I kiss my fish hook. "It's Maui time!" I shift into hawk form and begin attacking Tamatoa. I manage to claw his eyes out a bit, grinning as I see the pool of blood coming out of them. Tamatoa who's now beginning to go blind, tries to grab me repeatedly, but fails each time. I can tell he's getting pretty pissed because he reaches out and grabs Moana roughly. Moana, who's only just noticed my presence due to her most likely traumatized mental state, makes eye contact with me. Her eyes convey an emotion I've never seen in her before, fear.

 Hatred boils in me as I mentally figure out that he's forced into doing things she didn't want to do. I'm going to hurt Tamatoa, the way he hurt Moana. I'm going to use the biggest weakness to any living creature, love. "Hey Tamatoa. I got a question for you." "I'm not interested in your fucking games you dumb fool. I'm just interested in having my fun with your little toy here." I laugh. "Well, I'm going to ask it anyway. Do you remember Lota?" He straightens up. "If you speak in vain about Lota, I will rip your fucking head off." 

   I get closer to him, my smirk from several minutes ago still on my face. "Well she came to pay a visit to me last month and we did some pretty crazy things." His eyes, though not functionally properly, still manage to bug right out of his head. "What, you're shocked that a crab would find me attractive? No one can resist Maui, demigod of the wind and sea. My looks are enough to make any living creature weak in the knees. That includes Lota. I laid some of my moves on her and boy she was pleased. She just kept screaming out my name. The best part is how she said I was so much better than you. How funny that you and I happened to share a sex partner." 

   Tamatoa's nostrils... well what seem like nostrils, flare at me and he shoves me onto the ground. I manage to get free of him within seconds. I lift up my fish hook and send a blast of energy throughout the cave. The energy caused Tamatoa to fly back, hit the wall, and pass out. I do a short victory dance and make my way over to Moana. She's sitting against the wall, every part of her body shaking. I extended a hand out, which she gladly takes. I carefully lead her out of the cave. When we're a safe distance out of Lalotai, I decide that Moana and I need to talk.

     I pick up Moana in my arms  and place her gently on the ground because she's too weak to walk anymore right now. She looks up at me, gasping for breath. "Maui, I can't believe you're actually here." I raise an eyebrow. "Did you think I was going to abandon you?" Her body shakes. "No, I knew you'd come back for me. I just afraid that I was going to be dead when you did." That pulls my heart strings and not in a good way. I put my hands over hers. "Moana, you're my best friend. I'd do anything for you. I'd cross the ocean to find you time and time again. I didn't forget about you. I figured something happened to you when your parents informed me that you never returned home. But you don't have to worry anymore, you're safe now. I'm going to sail you back across the sea to ensure that you get home. I might even stick around for a bit, that is if you'll allow me to." 

     Moana gives me a strained smile, due to the amount of emotional pain she's in, but I know she's being sincere. "I'd love for you to stick around for a bit. I've been held hostage for two months by Tamatoa. I was forced into doing all sorts of things, most of which I'd rather not go in depth about, but they were sexual. Despite being trapped in the Realm of Monsters, it gave me plenty of time to think and come to some realizations." "What realizations did you come to?" She stares straight ahead, her eyes on the ocean. "I came to realize just how boring my life is without you in it and that my home is the ocean." I smile fondly at her. "I came to realize that recently myself. Say, why don't you and I go on another adventure sometime? It doesn't have to be right now. I know you probably want to visit with your parents and recover a bit first."

     Moana pulls me in for an embrace, which I'm more than happy to accept. "That sounds perfect Maui. Besides, there's no one else I'd rather have as my partner in crime." I kiss her forehead and hold her in my arms. I'm so glad that I freed her from captivity. "Hey Maui?" "Yes Moana?" She looks like she's about to burst into laughter, which is oddly surprising given everything she's been through. "Did you really have sex with a female crab named Lota?" My cheeks heat up from the awkwardness of having to answer this question, but I play it off by laughing as well. "I just said that to piss Tamatoa off. It's really funny to push his buttons. Though, Lota was Tamatoa's love at one point. He cheated on her ages ago and he's had to deal with the guilt and heartbreak ever since. Everyone has a weakness Moana, remember that."

   Moana takes a step towards me. "Well you know my weakness already, but what's yours Maui?" I take a step closer to her and put an arm around her back. "That would be you Moana. You're my weakness."
