I Vow To You (Part 9)
I Vow To You (Part 9)
One Shot #32 (Cont.)
Moana's POV
Two weeks later...
I had a difficult time sleeping through the night last night because I had several dreams that seemed to spark some important memories. I think I'm getting my memory back. As I sit in bed a little longer and replay the dreams a few more times in my head, I jump up when everything makes sense. I need to tell Maui. He's going to be so happy. He's watching TV in the living room so I run to the couch and jump on it, landing right in Maui's lap. "Woah easy there love. You might think the president is at our door the way you're acting." I giggle and blush. "I'm sorry Maui. I just have something important to tell you." He kisses my forehead. "Tell me love."
"We got married four years ago. You had proposed to me a few months before when we went to Disney World. To be exact, you did it right in front of Cinderella's castle in front of like two hundred people. Despite all of those people, you spoke straight from your heart. We had a beach wedding. It was an exclusive ceremony with just friends and family. My dream is to be a professional artist and have my work on display in art museums and galleries all over the world. Most importantly, I remember that you are indeed my husband Maui. I remember all of the guys that I've dated, but none of them ever held a candle to you."
Maui looks at me more shocked than I've ever seen him in all of the years we've been together. "You got your memory back?" I nod with a smile and he hugs me tightly. He then sobs into my chest. "These past few months have been so hard. I'm so glad I finally have my baby completely back. Do you really remember?" I pull out of the hug and wipe his tears away as he often does for me. "I remember everything Maui." Maui then pulls me in for a passionate kiss which I return which an equal amount of passion and slight trace of lust. Things are finally falling into place again. I couldn't be happier.
Hoped that you guys liked this one shot! I followed the plot line of the Vow, but made a happier ending. Not that the Vow had a totally bad ending, but it wasn't the ending I was hoping for. I feel more content with this ending. :) -Mary
