"Honestly, the first time we met, I really don't like you because of your cocky attitude.

After the recorded audio died down, Alexander slowly raised the gun he was holding unto his head. I swallowed the lump on my throat in tension as I watched his every move.

"Alexander! Put that down!"

"No Lay... this time. I know this time I can prove to you that I did loved you all those years." He stated with a creepy smile forming on his lips.

"No Alexander! This is not the best way to solve this! You're insane!"

"You're the only thing that can keep me sane Lay but why do you have to keep on pushing me back? Do I have to kneel before you? To punish myself for you? Or do you want me to kill myself just for you to realized that I did love you?"

Alexander's index finger was already hovering over the trigger and everytime he does that, I felt my heart increased its speed as it beats.

"No! I don't want you to do this! We don't have to end like this Alexander..." I pleaded.

"Do you still love me Lay?" He asked.

"Do you still hold even a little of affection for me, love?" Sadness was swirling in his words that it never fail to make cry.

Tears were cascading down my eyes like they were running for a race and as I looked at the man in front of me, he was also shedding tears. I do love Alexander but the thought of giving him another chance worth risking for? What if I get hurt again? I need to be strong for my son.

"Please Alexander... just put down the gun. We can have a proper talk with this. We don't have to go through this. No one has to do what you're doing right now." Alexander smiled.

Alexander's smile was creeping me out that I could even feel the hair on my skin rise. I could feel my hand shaking as I slowly raise them to myself. Cold sweat begun to form on my face as I felt my lungs constrict in a painful way.

"A-Alexander p-please."

"Then that implies that you don't love me anymore."

Like in slow motion, my eyes could clearly see how Alexander's finger slowly landed on the trigger to pull. My body immediately run to him but the sound of a loud noise made me froze on my spot as the sound echoed to my ears making me deaf.

Despite the defeaning sensation I felt in my ears I looked up to see Alexander's body lying on the floor unmoving.

"Alexander!!!"
