#6
"No."
"Can I just talk to your Dad?"
"I said no!"
"Just a couple of minutes boy."
"Do I have to spell it? No means no! Now get out of our house or else, I'll call my uncle to kick your ass out mister Grayon."
The child smack the door close in front of the man who tried to talk to his dad making the older laugh at the process. Lay can practically imagine Richard's face right out the door upon realizing how stubbord his boy could be. He was his precious little son and he loved that about him.
"Dad, can you just properly reject that dude? He's a total creep." The child spat as he started some fake shivers through his body. The older laughed.
"I can't reject him." Lay answered.
"What?! D'you want that guy to be my dad? He's old, he would look like my grandpa if that ever happens." Lay chuckled.
"Calm down son, You know I couldn't reject him because... I never even batted an eyelash at him and never ever even I had spoken to him, If I do reject him, what could I do? He's a persistent human so mind as well not to entertain him as much as possible to let him know I'm not really interested. Right?" The child beamed and gave a cheeky grin to his dad.
"You're a genius dad. hehe."
"Ok, but first things first. Let's get you to school?"
Lay offered and the child quickly dashed from the living room to his bedroom to get his bag. He returned in front of Lay, his bag pack ready behind his back while giving the older a salute and a wide smile.
"Aye! Aye! Captain!"
"Let's go."

They rode down from their apartment in the elevator and quickly headed to their car, a black Audi to get his son to school. Lay buckled him in the passenger seat before rounding in front of the car to get to the drivers seat and also buckled himself in. He manuevered the car to back away from their spot in the parking lot and headed out from the building's premises.
Life here in America was good after what he have been throughout. He finally sealed his own self back just for the sake of his seven year old son. He already met his older man, which was his dad who was already growing old so he entrusted some of his big businesses to Lay and Diam. Well, Diam is already married to his five years relationship boyfriend who's a freaking sought after doctor and writer of some famous novels here in America. And guess what? They're having their second child in a few more months.
--
He pulled in front of a private school with all the tall buildings and a beautiful surroundings. This is after all an international school where different rich kids from different countries interact in one classroom in their respective ages. From the north gate, that's the high school department, the south gate is for college, the west where Lay is now, is for the elementary, kinder, and nursery nestled, and the last is the east gate where all of the departments administration can be found.
The east gate composes of the buildings for teachers in different subjects in different faculty, the utilities office, the higher staff of the school. The dean and chairmans for the college part, the huge auditorium, gym and cafeteria.
"Be a good boy okay? And I'll treat you to something later. Got that bud?"
"Yes sir!" The kid saluted again making Lay grin as the kid run off after his classmates while waving a goodbye to him.
He smiled and watch his son disappeared inside the building. He returned inside his car and headed out of the school premises to get to work. Lay looked at his wrist watch and saw that it was already 6:59 am, one minute before seven. He sped down through the highway since during this time, traffic hasn't been too much a hassle to handle since its still early.
Lay frowned when accidentally, his car got caught exactly by the red light and he have to injure some countdown on his seat. The man roamed his eyes around for awhile trying his best not to bore down himself when this billboard caught his eyes. It was a tarp about the top 5 young and rich business tycoons raging from age 25 to 29 all around the globe. In the middle stood a man whose image he wouldn't dare want to see ever in his life again for as long as he lived.
I've change.
I don't need him anymore, I'm practically fine on my own and my son is enough for me to be happy. Lay thought to himself as he clutch the steering wheel of his car despite knowing that it wasn't a tarp about some famous tycoons but to a papular suit and tuxedo brand.
When the red light blink to green he quickly step on the pedal to head out to work and honestly, he didn't want to see that stupid billboard, it just gave him the creeps.
The car went to a stop on one of the elegant restaurant in the city, which his dad owns but currently, he's the owner of this since his dad entrusted it to him. The restaurant isn't that expensive so many people came here for their delicacies and mouth watering foods.
"Good morning Mr. Malcolm."
Greeted one of his employees and he returned it with one sweet smile. The restaurant hasn't yet to open since it was still too early and the fact that everyone was still preparing for business hours. He walked inside the kitchen and immediately, he was met with wonderful people that he have been working on for the past seven years.
"Hey hey hey, what d'we have here. Its our boss, lets give him a hug guys." Lay laugh at all of them as they gather together to give him a very big hug.
"Okay guys... enough. I can't breath." They all laugh and retrieve from the bone crushing group hug.
"So whats in for today George?" Asked Lay to his head chef.
"Just the same. Cooking our ass out. Haha."
"Okay. I'll just check on you guys later on. And if you needed something, call me."
"Okay boss!"
Lay went out of the kitchen and brought his feet towards his office. He silently slid inside and removed his coat and hanged it beside the door. His furnitures was all black whilst the wall's white and there was really nothing special about inside. Just a plain old boring office to work in.
He sat down on his black leather chair and leaned his head back so he was facing the white ceiling above him, wondering about things that he should be doing right now, but nothing came to his mind. He heaved a heavy sigh as he pinch the bridge of his nose in an exasperated manner and noticed the framed photo on his wooden office table.
"Caleb."
He croaked out his son's name as he scanned the picture frame of him and his son when he was still a four year old kid, the blue sea was behind them that add beauty to the picture.
At the picture, he still have the Lay Bifrost image in it, but sooner after two years, decided to change his looks for a fresh start. His usual peach blonde hair was now jet black and he also covered his gray pair of irises with black ones. He also gained a little muscles on his body and his skin color is still as white as the same. And its the only thing that he didn't change. In contrast, he looked different from his image two years ago from now and he was glad from it.
His name was also changed only in public, but his bank accounts and other private stuff, his name was still Lay Wesley Bifrost Miers and his son also shares the same one. But thankful, this is America, not in Europe so there's assurance that the guy wouldn't be able to find out about them.
