#21

When Diam and Caleb went out, Alexander returned to my side. He sat down on one of the stools and placed his hand on my forehead to sweep the strands of hair that covered my forehead. With a gentle smile, he placed a soft kiss over it.

"Look at you love, you've dyed your hair black. Though you look good in it, I still prefer your orginal peachy blonde hair. You look so cute and innocent."

"You've even put on little muscles but that's great. I think you can now withstand longer in our love making." He laughed.

He fucking laughed! How shameful of you, you bastard. I'm in this dangerous situation yet the only thing that's on your fucking mind is sex?! Oh God bless you Alexander! Just great.

"Lay, wake up love. I know you might hate me or whatever but I won't give up. Even if I should chase you all over the world, I will. Just let me talk to you and clear every mess that I've made."

"I met Caleb, our son." He chuckled. "He said that I'm handsome and he wants to see me. I wanted to tell him that I was his dad but I couldn't. I want him to get to know me before I could tell him to not make the reunion awkward."

"Caleb, you raised him into a good child. And I couldn't hide the fact that he did look like me when I was small. Wake up love, and when you wake up you know that I will be here waiting for you."

Alexander's voice was soothing. It was so pleasant in my ears that I couldn't deny the tingling feeling whenever I hear him talk. His whispers were incredible that his breath would always tickles my ears.  His kisses were burning on my body. His touch would leave ghostly touch all over my body.

As days went on, Alexander never left my side except when my dad visited the hospital. Diam would hide him first before dad catches a glimpse of him. Dad could only visit once since his body couldn't handle the constant travel because of his heart disease and my dad is not getting any more younger.

Diam would visit the hospital and they would take turns in looking after me. When it was Diam's turn to look after me, Alexander and Caleb would go out to hang out. Even though I didn't like the idea, I felt like it was okay for me so that I wouldn't have the hard time to tell Caleb once he knew who his dad is. At least he would grow closer to  Alexander.

Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months and months turned to a year. I had missed Caleb's eight birthday but they had celebrated it on my own room.

Five months ago, Andy finally gave birth to Diam's first child. It was a boy named Adrien. Caleb was so awed when he first saw Adrien that he blurted out to everyone that he wanted a younger brother too. Alexander laughed awkwardly as Diam and Andy looked at him.

I have been sleeping for a year now and whenever Caleb comes home from school, he would always talked about what happened to him in school. He would also tell me about how Alexander treated him and he was happy that he even told me that he wished he could be his father.

As I looked at Caleb who was scribbling something on a piece of white bondpaper, I couldn't help but to ask myself too.

'Is it already time that Caleb should meet his dad? It would be selfish of me to not let him meet his dad. He had the right afterall.' I looked at my unmoving body laying on the bed.

'I want to go back! I want to finish this, I want to end my son's suffering.  I want to correct everything. Please! I wanna go back! Please get me back!' I shouted at myself who was laying on the bed. Then everything turned dark.

Everything was dark. I tried opening my eyes but to only be met with blinding rays of the light. My body felt cold and cramped up. I blinked multiple times before finally opening them wide. A white ceiling greeted me. I roamed my eyes to my side and saw the window was open. Light breeze of wind was floating in making the white curtains to slightly flutter against the wind.

A figure of a man was standing by the window. His back was facing me so I couldn't distinguished who it was. I heard the door opened and I saw someone walked inside. There were three person, the two were wearing white clothes and one was wearing a suit.

"Alexander, the doctor is he-" The man who was wearing a suit stopped frozen on where he stood.

The two person who were wearing white also stopped. Then the guy who was standing by the window neared me.

"Lay... thank goodness! You're awake!" He called out in happiness. Tears were forming on his eyes as he looked at me.

The other guy wearing white came to me and did various check-ups on me. I stayed silent as all of them talked with the man they called the doctor. When they were done, the man who was standing by the window came to me. He took my hand and brought it to his face. I stared at him as he caressed my hand in happiness.

"Hello love, Thank goodness you're awake so, how are you feeling?" He asked me.

The other guy who came in awhile ago stood at the foot of my bed with a serious look as he stare down at me.

"I'm feeling good." I croaked out. This made him happy and kissed my hand as tears fell from his eyes.

"Lay, are you sure you're alright? You seemed different." The guy standing by the foot of the bed stated.

"What are you talking about Diam? He said he's fine so there's nothing wrong with him."

I pulled my hand away from him making him startled. I looked at both of them suspiciously before asking.

"Who are you?"
