That night, the kirishimas had made hot tamales for dinner.
I had never had Mexican food before, so I waited a bit before kirishima told me the steps.
I did as I was told and started to eat.
Soon enough, all the food was done and the family went into the living room, setting up the TV to watch a movie.
They put on big hero 6 and I rolled my eyes, I've seen this so many times, I could say every line.
Uki seemed to notice my uncomfortable state and asked if I wanted to clean the dishes with her.
I nodded and walked with her to the sink.
We both started to clean up the dinner plates in comfortable silence with the TV on in the background.
I let my mind wander, not paying attention to where the water was going.
When Uki brought over more plates, I herd her gasp.
I broke out of my trace as I looked at her.
"What's wrong?"
I asked as she just stared at a spot in the sink.
I followed her eyes and saw they were looking right at my soul flowers.
I quickly took my hand away from the sink and hid the flowers behavior my back.
Uki looked at me sadly as she walked up to me and took my hands in hers.
"You don't have to be ashamed to be Eijiros soulmate."
She said as I looked at her.
"I-I just don't want him to.. to be with someone like me..."
I said as I forced down any sadness that was trying to come up.
"Oh hunny..."
Uki said as she hugged me.
"He wouldn't mind one bit, even if your kinda mean once in a while."
I looked as her in disbelief.
"C-can you please not tell him..."
I said as I took my hands out of Ukis grasp.
"Of course sweetie, I'll only tell him if you want me to."
She said as we went back to washing the dishes.
After a while I spoke up.
"It's not that I don't wanna be his soulmate it's just-"
"What's the matter hun.."
Uki said as she stopped what she was doing to give me her full attention.
"M-my parents arnt exactly that 'optimistic' to same sex couples."
I saw while still looking at the plates in front of me.
Uki was silent for a bit as she thought of what to say.
Eventually, she walked over and hugged me as she said,
"We accept you if you're parents don't."
I lightly smiled as she said that and hurried up to finish the dishes.
Uki soon shooed me off and told me to go watch the movie.
So, I walked over to the living room to see Kirishima lying on the floor.
I rolled my eyes as he smiled at me as I layed down next to him.
The next thing I knew, I was falling asleep while longingly looking at kirishima.
