Desc: Ahmad and Stephanie have been best friends since they were little, but Stephanie had to move away one day, but years later they met each other unexpectedly, will they remember each other?


Stephanie's POV

It's been 7 years since I last saw Ahmad, aka my best friend, who I sadly had to move away from which hurts more than you can ever imagine. 

"Steph!" My friend Kristen yells out to me. 

"Yeah, Kristen?" I ask a little upset, and my hair getting in my face cause of the wind blowing.

"You seem upset, what's wrong honey?" 

"I miss my old best friend, Ahmad.."

"Oh.." She hugs me and I hug her back.

"I miss Elise too.. don't worry"

Ahmad's POV

7 years... wow time flies

"Ahmad come on!" my girlfriend yelled to me, so I go.

"Where are we going love?" I asked her and she smiled. 

"You'll see." 

A few mins later

We got to a park and I see two girls just standing there

"Kris! Over here!" My girlfriend yelled to one of the girls

Stephanie's POV

"Kris! Over here!" Someone yelled to Kristen so she looked let go of me 

"Hey, Cass! What are you doing here??" Kristen said and the girl nodded her head over to a man.

"Oh, I'm here with my boyfriend Kristen."

Ahmad's POV

"Oh, I'm here with my boyfriend." Cassie smiled

"I'm here with my friend," Kristen said and also smiles

"Nice.."

"Mhm.."

They continue talking and I sigh as I start thinking about the day she told me she was moving

Flashback

"A..Ahmad... I-I need to tell you something." A fifteen-year-old Stephaine told her best friend.

"What's up Stephy?" A fifteen-year-old Ahmad asked.

"I..I..I...I'm... I'M MOVING!" 

"W..What..? You're kidding right..??"

"N..No.."

"When are you moving?"

"T...The end of next week.." At this point, Steph was crying and Ahmad was tearing up.

"Stephanie Parkinson, look at me, I want you to promise me something.."

"W..W...What is it..?"

"Promise to never forget me.. please..!"

"Of course I'll never forget you!"

"Promise..?"

"To the moon and back A!"

They both wiped their tears away hugged each other

End of Flashback

"Aye! Babe!" Cassie yelled at me playfully.

"Yes?"

"You okay?"

"Yeah.. just missing my friend, that's all love.." I look down and Cassie hugs me.

"What was their name?"

"Stephanie Parkinson.."

"Oh! I have a friend with that name! She's over there!" Kristen pointed to a girl.

Stephanie's POV 

I get up after I see Kristen point at me.

"Steph! This is.."

"Ahmad."

"Oh cool, I had a friend with the name Ahmad!"

Ahmad's POV

"Hey.. remember what she told you?" 

"Y-Yeah, she would never forget me.. she promised to the moon and back."

"Exactly."

We continue to talk a little on our way back

No one's POV

As soon as Ahmad and Stephanie got home they headed to their rooms and leaned their heads against their doors, and sighed, then, started singing

(okay when the girl says "I watched you as you left but I can never seem to let you go" Just act like she says "You watched me as I left but I still can't seem to let you go"

"Hey, I'm leaving to go to work!" Ahmad told his girlfriend, who was cooking and she nodded

Once Ahmad got there

"Ahmad! We have someone new joining us." Ahmad's other best friend, Mike Woolfolk told him.

"Oh cool! What's their name?"

"Her name is Stephanie Parkinson, she just moved here a couple of days ago!"

"Oh."

"H-hey, guys, I'm Stephanie Parkinson, as Mike just said."

Ahmad's POV

"Stephanie, can I talk to you alone for a second?"

"Sure.."

We head outside and I hug her, but, she pushes me off.

"Why'd you hug me, we aren't friends yet."

"...  Stephanie Parkinson, do you recall the day you said you were moving to your friend, and or best friend?"

"Mhm.. worst day of my life, I remember my best friend being so upset."

then it hit me. 

" Stephanie Parkinson... I forgot I never said my last name. My last name is Bajjey.."

"M...My best friend had that last name.." She said and looked up at me.

Stephanie's POV for .2 seconds

Then it dawned on me, THAT IS AHMAD!

Now back to Ahmad's POV

"STEPH?!"  I yelled, processing what just happened

"AHMAD?!" She yelled, probably doing the same thing

"You two okay?" Mike asked us and we nod, both teary-eyed.

"I think we broke each other." She chuckled and I nodded in agreement.

" I think we did."

A few hours later 

Stephanie and I talked a lot about what happened over the past 7 years.

A few days later

Stephanie and I were as close as were when were children.

"Sooooo, when you gonna propose to Cassie?" She asked me and I roll my eyes jokingly

"I don't know Stephy!"

"Oh come on Ahmad! You're Ahmad Bajjey!"

"So?? I don't know when I will Steph!"

We bicker back and forth as we walk around.

We finally head inside laughing, and we get ready for our show.

During the show

"Yesterday you could just ignore the date on the calendar, and everything else it felt like summer!" Stephanie said, talking about yesterdays weather

"Definitely, well, you know what date we can't ignore? Tomorrow."

I look at Steph and I can tell she knows where I was going with this

"May the fourth (act like it's the third of May when it's really.. idk what day it is when you see this) here's the forecast for tomorrow everybody." I smile proudly

Steph laughs a little

"It's my favorite day! May the fourth be with you. Cloud cover mainly in the afternoon, little bit of rain in the morning. Thanks, Steph for humoring me." I turn to her and smile.

"Always." was all Stephanie said.

"Here's the forecast, for the people that are, you know, not completely obsessed with Star Wars like I am, low 60s in the afternoon, there is the cloud cover going on all throughout the afternoon. Our director Craig is very happy at least with that part, but we are watching for a light breeze as well throughout much of the second half of the day, as we start to warm and get that warm conditions building in. So little breezy for the second half of tomorrow after we get some much-needed rainfall." 

She led the outro out and as soon as we were told clear we hugged each other.

"Really nice working with you A.B, even if it is only for 2 half hours."

"So an hour?"

"You know what I mean." She smacks my arm playfully and I chuckle

"I know, I know."

A few more days later and Steph's POV(ik I switched them like 20 million times, leave me be plz)

"Ahmaddddd" I yell to Ahmad.

"Yes, my Steph?"

"First off... I AM NOT YOURS, second off, do you remember the song we used to sing when we were little?"

"No?"

"Dang it, but I still know it, hopefully."

"Oh wait, was it 2002?"

"I think so, I remember one lyric and it went like this "Oops, I got 99 problems singing bye, bye, bye" I smile and he nods.

"Yeah I don't remember any of the song lyrics"

"Oh, welp."

We continue to talk, and Ahmad pulls out a box.

"This is what I'm going to propose to Cass with!"

"FINALLY!"

"Now Shhhhhhhhh she's coming here now!"

 He puts it back in his pocket as, as if right on cue, Cassie walks up.

"Hey, Cass!"

"Hey, baby!"

"Hey, guys!"

I give Ahmad an unreadable look to the average human, however, Ahmad read it clearly and gave me an unreadable look back.

"Okay, you two are going insane, why are you two looking at each other like that?!" Cassie asked both of us, and I loo at Ahmad

"Cause.. do you want be the happiest girl in the world?"

"Sure?"

"Then will you make me the best boyfriend," Ahmad got on one knee "and marry me?"

"A-." Dave called to Ahmad and paused when he saw what was happening.

"Ahmad decided to do it here, not me-." Cassie and I said looking at each other.
