FOURTY-THREE (Finale)

Yup, this is the final chapter :') I'm sad about it too y'all

Yeosang and Wonho turned up to the fight first, though they heard the gunshots a minute or so before they'd even got there. They could hear the shouting and curses being thrown from both sides of the battle. Both men abandoned their bikes not far from the battlefield, as some from GD's side had spotted them and opened fire at them, forcing the two to hide in a nearby alleyway. Yeosang let the others know of the severity of the situation while Wonho carefully surveyed the battle.

It was very clear which side was losing, and it was theirs. They had no idea that GD could gather so many on his side that quickly. but it would prove to be their downfall if they weren't careful enough. Yeosang and Wonho share a glance, hoping and praying to whatever deity was listening that Chan and Fellx had a good enough plan because if they didn't, they were one hundred percent fucked.

It wasn't long before they could hear the familiar sound of the cars, and only a few seconds later they heard the roar of of Chan's Triumph. Chan revs it a few times, signalling his arrival. They all expect Chan to abandon his bike somewhere, but Wonho and Yeosang see the bike zoom past them only seconds later.

They don't notice Jae's head in Felix's hand until the moment he holds it up for everyone to see when Chan comes to a screeching halt. There's a wicked grin on Felix's face when GD slowly turns his head.

Every soul on that battlefield could feel the fury GD felt at seeing his lover's head in Felix's hands. He couldn't hide it, and in turn he accidentally gave up the fact that Jae is in fact his weak spot.

Rage equalled recklessness, and recklessness equalled death. GD would be dead before sunset, and Felix would make damn sure of that.

The team was split now, half of them hiding, half of them fighting with guns blazing, and Felix had thrown Jae's head out into the road before Chan sped off again with Felix still on the back. GD's team had split up then too, with himself a couple of others that none of them recognised taking off in pursuit of Chan and Felix.

"GD took at least three others with him, and there's no telling how many others he's got hiding around the area. Chan and Felix are gonna die!" Yeosang exclaimed.

Wonho thought differently. If there was one thing Felix was good at that GD clearly wasn't, it was that he knew how to channel his anger into his fighting skill. It was something Shownu had taught him years ago.

"I think those two will be just fine" Wonho replied with a smirk.

With Chan and Felix, things were not looking good for them. Chan was trying to avoid getting his tires blown by the shots that were being fired at them, and whilst trying to lose them they'd ended up on a dirt road.

A dead-end dirt road, they'd soon found out, meaning they had to turn around and go towards their enemies.

Chan kills the engine on the bike, instructing Felix to get off. Felix takes out the machete he'd brought along in one of the bikes saddlebags as Chan takes out the automatic rifle he had on the side of the bike, standing between Felix and GD.

"Chan-"

"I told you I'd be your shield if you wanted to go after GD. Now's your chance baby" Chan says.

Felix feels his heart pounding, his hand gripping the handle of the machete so tightly it hurts.

'Please, I beg you, don't let him die' Felix sends out a small prayer to whatever God or Goddess is listening.

Chan knows the only one GD wants dead right now is Felix, although he has no idea if GD will shoot him down first or not. Nobody really knows how GD works, so he's taking a massive gamble in assuming GD will go after Felix only.

GD and the two others he brought along stop a few metres ahead of them, and they all step off their bikes.

There's a tense silence that hangs over all of them, and it feels like they're in an old western standoff or something. Both sides are waiting for who will make the first move.

Ultimately, it's GD that makes the first move, making a shot at Chan that barely misses. It kicks Chan into gear, and he takes shots at the two cronies GD took with him. They both fall, wounded but not dead.

GD has a twisted grin on his face. Chan has his gun raised, ready to shoot.

Somewhere behind them, someone has a gun raised towards Chan. GD gives a miniscule signal, but the person sees it and takes their shot. Unfortunately, it hits right on its target

Chan yells in pain as his knees hit the dirt road below him. The rocks cut his knees open a little, and it stings like hell, but nothing compares to the almost blinding pain in his shoulder which is currently profusely leaking blood.

GD went for Felix's weakness, thinking he could use that to anger Felix so much until he was too blinded by fury to focus on anything else, that way he could get someone else to take Felix off the board as a threat.

"It's over, little one. You can't kill me, and you can't put me away!" GD's grin widened, "I'm gonna kill your boyfriend first, then you, then parade your head around for everyone to see!"

Felix can feel the anger bubbling. He wants to help Chan but he knows he'll be okay. Chan knows how to make his own tourniquet to slow the bleeding before he passes out, but Chan's out of play now. He can't use the gun he has one handed.

Felix growls in annoyance, and wishes he brought others with him too. Now it's just himself and GD facing off. GD has a gun, and Felix has a machete. He could pick up the rifle Chan brought with him, but GD would be faster at shooting him with the handgun than he is shooting GD with a rifle.

He doesn't notice the drone that hovers above them, too focused on watching GD to see what his next move would be.

At the warehouse, Donghun moves into action. He was going to stay at the warehouse for protection, but his baby brother is in danger of being killed, along with Chan whom he's unwillingly grown fond of. Donghun grabs his weapons, storming towards the warehouse door with San yelling after him.

"Be careful! GD will probably have others hiding around the area!"

Donghun stops and turns, his expression cold and stony.

"That's what I'm fucking counting on" he says, slowly turning back around and walking out of the warehouse.

San simply shakes his head and sits back down, sighing heavily. He really hopes they can win this fight, and he hopes they won't have to bury any more bodies.

With Felix, he was still in a stand-off with GD. They both have weapons in hand, but neither of them moves and Felix is admittedly very scared as to what kind of torturemor death he might have planned for Felix. On the flip side, however, Felix is still itching to just grab Chan's rifle and be done with this already.

Felix curses softly, his heart racing a million miles a minute.

"You wanna keep dragging this out Felix, or shall we end this here!?" GD calls out, his wicked grin widening, "I'm sure there's a special place in Hell for the both of us, assuming you manage to kill me too"

There it was; GD had no torture planned, just simple death. GD knows if they both shoot, they'll most likely end up killing each other at the same time, and it won't matter who falls first.

Felix takes a breath, glancing down at Chan once more. Chan looks up at Felix, wondering what his boyfriend is thinking when he sees both fear and determination in his eyes.

"I need your rifle babe" Felix says, holding his hand out.

He drops the machete down beside him as Chan slowly hands the rifle over. He winces in pain at the movement, and Felix has to hold in his own since when he heard Chan's his of pain. Felix grabs the rifle, humming when he realises it's cocked and ready to shoot.

Then, he heard the high pitch noise of a dirtbike, and only a few seconds later he sees it pull up behind GD. He recognised the bike as Donghun's. His entrance distracted GD enough that he turned around fully with his back to Felix. This meant he had the chance to take a shot at GD without dying himself.

The moment Felix realised what Donghun was doing, he raised the rifle, aiming for GD's head.

"Goodbye fucker" Felix whispers, and he takes the shot.

BANG!

One shot to the head, and it's all over. Everything moves in slow motion then; GD's gun drops to the ground, then his body slowly falls along with it. Blood leaks from the open wound in his head, all over the dirt.

The two cronies that were with GD scatter as fast as their injuries would allow, Donghun cackling at their pathetic attempts. Felix took little notice of that though, as he drops to his knees beside CAhan, surveying his wound.

"How bad is it?"

"Pretty bad, but I won't die Felix" Chan huffs, a small smile on his face, "I think the wound you gave me will always be the worst one I have"

Felix scoffs, and despite his worry a lopsided grin makes its way onto his face.

"Let's go round up the others and go home, huh?"

"Yeah...home"

Felix helps Chan stand up, Donghun still hanging around for a bit until he realizes that they could handle themselves. He rides back towards the warehouse on his dirtbike feeling relief that this whole thing is finally over.

Ultimately, they were the winning side. The other gangs soon discovered their boss was gone through Donghun riding past and most of them ran for it. Those that stuck around were either severely wounded or dead. It also took a long time for those that woke up from their comas to heal, especially Seonghwa.

Chan only took a few months to heal, and after he did, he and Felix decided to go their separate ways from the rest of them. They'd agreed to start their own lives separate from all the gang shit, and Felix finally has a proper therapist he sees regularly.

With that, the gang wars are finally behind them.

THE END
