At first, I want to make a book for the ship raridiamond. (BTW, diamond dawn is MeganCostello24 's OC) But I know that I would just discontinue it when I have no more ideas. And I don't like it when I leave my books unfinished. So I decided to make a one-shot instead. I hope you enjoy this story! 😄😘😋

Diamond's pov

"Get out of here, you freak!" Rarity shouted at me.

I sighed. Tears are starting to roll down from my eyes. I watch as rarity walk away.  Leaving me alone on the hallways.

Rarity has been really mean to me ever since she became really popular at our school. We used to be friends before. Best friends actually.

Flashback

"Hey diamond dawn!" My best friend greeted me.

"Hey rarity!" I greeted back.

Today, rarity is wearing a light blue dress with diamonds scattered all over it, white boots, and sparkling jewelry. Rarity is a fashionista. While I'm just wearing a plain hoodie and denim jeans. I never really cared about what I look like.

"Hmmmm, nice dress." I complimented my best friend.

"Thank you darling." She replied, blushing. "I made it myself."

"Really?! That's wonderful! You should be a designer when you grow up." I said, beaming. She beamed back at me.

"You are a true friend, diamond!"she exclaimed."I hope we will be best friends forever."

I giggled. "I'm sure we will!"

"Pinkie swear?" She hold out her pinkie.

I giggled again and hold out my pinkie. "Pinkie swear!"

And our little fingers touched as it concealed a promice. A promice that I didn't know, will be broken.......

(A few weeks later.........)

"Hello there rarity!" I exclaimed when I saw rarity walking on the hallways. I smiled really big as I approuched her.

"Um, hi diamond." She replied with a smile.

"I have something really cool to tell you at lunch!" I said, excitedly. "We should-"

"Um about that, darling." Rarity interrupted me. "I have to seat with the popular girls at lunch."

"Oh, ok." I said, my smile dropping a little.

"Can you believe they invited me to seat with them?!" She gushed.

"Yeah! Have fun with them, ok?"

So at lunch time, I sat and ate my food by myself. I feel so.......lonely.

I glanced t the table where rarity is eating. She seems to be having a fun time with the 'popular girls'. I sighed and looked away.

I look at rarity again. I can't help it!

That's when I realized something. I never thought about until now but.....

I like rarity. More than a friend.....

She's really kind, generous, and pretty. I suddenly feel sick. No! No! No! I must not like her! I must not fall for her! She will never like me back. And what will happen to our friendship?! She will probably freak out when I tell her that I like her.

After school, I approuched Rarity. I want to know what happend while she was eating with the popular girls.

"Hey Rarity!" I cried.

"Um, hi." She replied rolling her eyes.

"Ewwwww, the freak is here. She is so gross." One of the popular girls said.

"Yeah she is gross." Rarity replied. W-wha-WHAT?!

One of the girls nodded in agreement."She's so out of style. And she really needs to cover up her hidious face with make up."

"I can't believe you are friends with her rarity!"

Rarity smirked. "Yeah. Well, now we are not."

I gasped. Why is my best friend ditching me?!

"B-but R-Rarity. You promised t-that we will be b-best friends f-forever............." I stuttered

"Oh diamond. You are so immature." Rarity rolled her eyes. "We are not friends now. Forget that stupid promice."

"B-but rarity....."

"Whatever! I have new friends now! Don't you even dare go near me anymore, you pathetic freak!" She shouted at me.

I gasped. I started crying. No! No! No!

Then she and her 'friends' sashayed away from me.

The next day, rarity is wearing trendy clothes and make-up. It's clear that the snobby popular girls gave her makeover. Argh!!!

She has changed so quickly. Now she doesn't care about me anymore.

(Back to present)

I miss rarity so much........

I decided to stay at school for a while. I'll do my homework here.

Suddenly, I heard some one call my name. "Diamond!"

I glance up and found Sunrise Shine running towards me. She's the only one in school who talks to me because everyone thinks I'm a freak. But even if I talk to sunrise shine, we are not really best friends.

"What is it, sunrise?" I ask her.

"Have you heard the news?!" She exclaimed.

I looked at sunrise with curiosity "What news?"

"That rarity's ex-boyfriend broke up with her just now."

"Just now?!" I interrupted sunrise. Since when did rarity even have a boyfriend?!

"Wait! Let me finish my sentence!" Sunrise continued.

"And now he's planning to kill her!"

I gasp. WHAT???!!!

"Where is rarity?! Tell me! Tell me!" I exclaimed, holding sunrise and shaking her.

"I don't know!" Sunrise cried. "Now please let me go!"

I quickly let go of sunrise. Without thinking, I quickly ran to find rarity. I must save her while I can! I don't want her to die.

"Don't worry, rarity. Here I come........."

Rarity's pov

I can't believe that he just broke up with me! I don't really even care about him, all I ever wanted was his money anyways.

The reason why we broke up is because he found out that I was only dating him because of his money. And he found me kissing his friend. He was really angry at me, But I don't really care about that.

I decided to take a walk at the park to clear my mind.

At the park, I keep walking and walking. Then suddenly, out of the blue, I started thinking about diamond dawn.

Flashback

Today, the popular girls invited me to join them at lunch. YAY!!!!!!! I happily sat down with them at their usual table. I can't believe it. I'm sitting with the popular girls!

Suddenly, I feel guilty for leaving diamond dawn alone during lunch. Now I miss her. I actually like her. By like, I mean, like more than a friend. But I'm afraid that she doesn't like me back, so I just keep that secret to myself.

"I like your outfit, rarity." One of the girls told me.

I blushed, these girls are really nice!  "Thanks! I like yours too."

The girls smiled at me."You know, you should always seat with us instead of that freaky friend of yours."

"You mean diamond dawn?" I asked. "She's not freaky. She's my friend."

"Well, you have new friends now." A girl with pink wavy hair told me. "If you want to stick with us, stop talking to that dork."

"Yeah!" Her friend jumped in. "You don't need her anymore. From now on, you are on of us."

I nodded. They are right. Diamond dawn is a freak. I should stay away from her from now on. Besides, I have my new fabulous friends. And I'm popular now!

But deep inside, deep down. I still like diamond dawn.

After school, the girls decided to give me makeover. I was thrilled! I can't believe I'm one of them now!

Then I thought of diamond. I feel so guilty. But there is no turning back now. I'm part of a new group. A popular group.

I guess people can change..........

I sighed. Until now, I still like diamond dawn. But I have a new life and I changed.

Suddenly, I heard a familiar voice.

"Rarity!"

I was surprised to see diamond dawn behind me. She pushed me out of the way. What the-?

That's when I hear a gun shot. The sound made me jump. Diamond dawn suddenly collapsed.

"W-what is h-happening?!" My voice trembling as I say that sentence.

I saw blood spilling out of diamond's hoodie. WHAT?! NOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I feel on my knees. This can't be happening!

"Diamond, please rise up. Come on, you're strong." I cried. "I'll take you to the hospital." I quickly try to carry her. N-nooo.....

Diamond looked at me. She put my hands down, which is filled with diamond's blood.

"I-it's ok r-rarity." She said very weakly.

"No!" I replied. My voice cracking. "You must not die!"

My tears are starting to roll down from my cheeks. Diamond wiped a tear away.

"W-why d-did you save m-me?" I asked her. "W-why did you s-sacrifice....."

Diamond did her best to smile at me."Because I c-care for y-you and I......."

"I l-love y-you."

I gasped. Why was I so blind? Why did I ditch diamond? I'm such a horrible person!

"I-I love you t-t-too." I replied. I can't stop crying. "I'm so sorry! I'm sorry for everything. I'm sorry for being so blind........"

Diamond gripped my hand. I could feel her love. But she is very weak.

"B-bye r-rarity......." She whispered. Her eyes started dropping. I could feel her heart stop beating. No......... This must not happen......

"Diamond! Diamond! Please answer me. Don't leave me!" I cried.

No reply.......

I gasp. "DIAMOND!"

I cried. I cried. I cried so hard that I almost couldn't breathe.

I'm so sorry diamond! I'm sorry for the way I treated you. I should have never left you alone and called you freak. I'm sorry that I never showed you how much I cared about you. I was so mean to you yet you sacrificed your life just for me...........

I heard footsteps approaching. Then I suddenly feel pain.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!" I screamed.

Suddenly, I feel dizzy. I looked at dress and gasped. I see blood......my blood. I was stabbed with a knife.

The pain was unbearable, but I managed to smile.

"Diamond. Oh diamond......... Wait for me......."

My vision turns into black. I could feel everything fall.

But before I lost my vision.

"Wait for me, darling. I'll be with you soon.........."
