Excitement! 😍😆

{Wednesday, May 6, 2015/3:35pm, Canterlot High, By The Main 6's Lockers}

      It's spring, school's almost out, and... THE GIRLS AND I HAVE BEEN ASKED TO DO A PHOTO SHOOT!!!!! Asdfjklasdfjkl (I haven't words for this honor! 😍😍😆)! Fame has its perks! The shoot is for the magazine, Celebrity Now Weekly, which is... WORLDWIDE! 😱 The shoot is also to highlight, as they said, "these teen heroes from this island called 'Equestria'"! The shoot's on a lovely Saturday - this Saturday!

      Well, I suppose you expected excitement from me, I'm the fashionista of the group. However, as my friends and I get ready to go home for the day, my friends have mixed reactions to the shoot...

"So," begins Applejack, putting on an orange hoodie, "You want us -"

"Yes," I interject, excitement filling my lungs as I inhale dramatically.

"To wear all-white clothes -," Applejack continues.

"Mhm!," I squeal.

"Includin' girly-ass lace -"

"Yes."

"For some... fancy-pants magazine?!," Applejack finishes, her green eyes wider than my closet.

"Exactly!," I reply, practically bouncing right out of my stilettos, "It'll be fun, darling, I promise!"

"That ain't the problem, Rarity," Applejack says, giving me the most 😒 face ever, "I don't wear lace. White lace at that."

"Yeah," Rainbow Dash says, laughing as she pulls a blue hoodie with Greek letters on it over her prismatic head, "Do we really need to look like that lamp shade in your Rainbow Manor room?!"

"Ha, ha," I begin with a chuckle, for she's telling the truth, "Very funny. And thanks for adding a little color to that lace! It's actually what inspired my outfit concept! Cocoa helped with design and execution - she really wants to make up for the arrow debacle on Valentine's Day."

"That's so sweet of her to do that," Fluttershy adds, smiling at me, "And I can't wait to wear you two's designs!"

"I'm just glad we got a heads up for this event this time," Twilight says, looking quite irritable, "Scheduling conflicts and all."

"Ruined dates and all," Rainbow mutters passive-aggressively under her breath, making me feel super guilty about Valentine's Day.

"Oh my," I reply, genuinely guilty for ruining her date night, biting my bottom lip, "I'm truly sorry about that, darling. (*Smiling*) Forgive me?"

"Mmmm," Rainbow begins, her left index finger tapping her chin, "(*Grinning*) Yeah. I mean, we didn't go out, but our Valentine's Day wasn't that bad. I'm not that mad at you."

"Ahhh!," I squeal excitedly, "I'll make it up to you, darling, I promise!"

"Uhhh," Rainbow starts, her left eyebrow raised, "O-kayyy?"

      I don't know what's going through her colorful little head, but I don't dwell on it; I have a photo shoot to prepare for! 😍

Talk About "The End"

{Saturday, May 9, 2015/1:15pm, Royal Palace Garden, Canterlot}

      The day of the Celebrity Now photo shoot that the Main 6 are supposed to partake in has arrived. The sun's shining, the animals of Canterlot's palace make their respective noises, and Rarity, teenage designer and Canterlot enthusiast, is about to practically explode from the sheer intensity of her excitement over this photo op.

"I don't know what I'm more excited about," begins a white lace and denim-clad Rarity to her white lace and denim-clad friends as the Celebrity Now staff scramble about, "The shoot or the end of junior year!"

"Holy fuck!," Rainbow Dash exclaims (in a way that only she can: with swear words galore!), "It is the end of the year!"

"Yeah," Twilight Sparkle says in a somewhat sad tone, "It's gonna be odd not doing any homework, I'll just be -"

"Having fun?!," Rainbow interrupts, laughing, "Like a normal-ass teenager?!"

"Bullshit," Applejack interjects, laughing with Rainbow, "It's Twilight we're talkin' about. (*Smirking*) 'Havin' Fun' ain't on the 'Things to Do This Summer' list she's definitely gonna make."

"Unless they give us a summer reading list!," Twilight rambles on excitedly, seemingly ignoring her friends' jests, "(*Slightly miffed*) And reaaal funny, guys!"

"Hey, look," Rainbow says to Twilight, chuckling a bit, "You're the one that obsesses over damn lists."

"The girl's got a list for everythin'!," Applejack jokes, "Includin', but not limited to -"

"Grocery lists!," adds Rainbow.

"Basic 'To-Do' lists," says Applejack, counting on her left index finger.

"Lists of books she's gotta take back to whatever library!"

"Don't forget the list o' the ones she's gotta get from the damn library."

"Right!," Rainbow replies, "And don't forget -!"

"Okay!," Twilight interrupts, giggling, "I get it! I'm weird as hell. Let me live!"

"Ladies," begins the redhead Celebrity Now cameraman, smiling at the Main 6, "We're ready for you."

"Ah!," Rarity squeals, "Perfect!"

      A short woman with sky-colored hair and white skinny jeans ushers the 6 teenagers over to an open, grassy space and tells them to stand there.

"Perfect," says the cameraman, still smiling, "Now. Let's start with a basic 'friendship' pose. Like, wrap your arms around each other."

      The girls nod and wrap their arms around one another, laughing joyfully. The cameraman gives them a thumbs up and snaps a few photos. At 1:45pm, several dozen poses and many photos later, the cameraman says to the girls,

"Okay, I have an idea for another pose."

"Seriously?!," Rainbow asks tiredly, "A bajillion wasn't enough?!"

"Sorry," says the cameraman, chuckling a bit, "This'll be the last one, I promise."

"Fine," Rainbow replies, sighing and fighting her tiredness, "Let's do this."

"Great!," the cameraman says happily, "This pose'll be on the ground. In a circle, close to one another, I want you guys to lie down, as if you're cloud-watching. Don't forget to smile at the camera! Go!"

      The girls nod and lie on their backs in the grass, lying in order from tallest to shortest (Applejack (6'0''), Rainbow (5'10''), Fluttershy (5'8''), Twilight (5'7''), Pinkie Pie (5'5''), and Rarity (5'3'')). They smile at the camera and the cameraman happily shoots away. After the shoot is over, as the Celebrity Now crew pack up their belongings, the girls just lie there, too tired to move. Actually watching the clouds go by, Pinkie Pie says, grinning,

"That one looks like a doughnut!"

"If you say so," Rainbow says to Pinkie sleepily, eyes drooping.
