||Rainbow Dash's POV: Excitement!/Homecoming Dress (Ugh, come on Rarity!)||
{Saturday, October 4, 2014/8:13am, Rainbow Manor, Rainbow Dash's Bedroom}
I wake up next to Soarin', smiling like hell as I look at him. He makes me so happy! Most of the time. I jump out of bed without waking Soarin' and walk into my bathroom. I shower, brush my teeth, and then I walk into my closet to pick out an outfit for today, since I have to meet Rarity at the Carousel Boutique at 9:00am. She texted me and the other "Main 6" girls, telling us that she wanted to make our Homecoming dresses. Here we go. I'm tired of rushing to her boutique so that she can force me into some dress that I could care less about. Ugh. I wake Soarin'. Apparently Rarity wants the guys there too. I walk back out of my closet.
"Hey, Soar," I say to him, nudging his right shoulder, "Wake up. Rare wants us at the CB at nine."
"Hey, beautiful," Soarin' tells me, looking up at my towel-covered figure, "What time is it now?"
"Eight twenty-seven," I reply, still blushing from when he called me "beautiful" (he's so sweet, it hurts).
"Okay," Soarin' says, sitting up, his hair all over the place.
"OMG," I say, giggling, "What's with your hair?!"
"What's with yours?," Soarin' asks, laughing, "It's all wet and slightly drippy. (*Not laughing anymore*) Although..."
He gets out of the bed and pulls me into his arms, saying,
"I think you look pretty hot in that towel."
"Ummm...," I say back, blushing like mad as he kisses my lips.
What the hell just happened?, I ask myself, pulling away from him, Did we just almost...? Nah. Although, he is shirtless and I'm not wearing anything under this towel. I quickly walk back into my closet before we end up breaking my #1 rule (and my parents' #1 rule): no sex before marriage. I'm hot, he's hot, and that has "DISASTER" written all over it too. My #2 rule? Don't fuck with me; I'm crazy as hell and I will cut you. Ha, ha. I'm just kiddin'. But seriously, I'm crazy enough to do it, so... Anyway, I close my closet door and start putting on blue underwear (Victoria's Secret... O_O). I go through my closet, looking for that perfect pair of black skinny jeans. I found them. They're stretchy and have a coating on them, making them look as if they're made of leather. What in Equestria am I gonna wear with it? Ugh. I have no clue. I have a million colors in my closet, black and blue making up the majority. I choose a black, cropped T-shirt from Rarity's "Equestria Teens" label, with "1998" printed on it in huge, metallic, gold numbers. Fun fact: I was born in 1998. The "Main 6" and I like wearing stuff from Rarity's label, seeing as it designed for us by us. Besides, it makes shopping easier; I'm getting taller and taller as we speak, so I have to have clothes that fit me properly. When I go to a clothing store, I have a hard time finding stuff that fits my style. I wander to the back of my closet, where I keep every piece of jewelry I own. I search through my shelf full of chokers, trying to find the right one.
"Ah-ha!," I say, holding up a black choker with gold spikes and a disc-shaped charm dangling in the middle with the Greek letters "Ρ.Δ." on it, "You!"
I happily fasten the choker around my neck, being careful not to snag my awesome hair on accident. I run towards my shoe area and pick a pair of black Dr. Marten's boots. A simple black, gold-buckled belt and a black, leather, biker jacket later, I'm ready-ish. I just need to get into my bathroom. Soarin' should be done by now, right? I walk out my closet to head into my bathroom. When I walk back into my room, Soarin' has on jeans and shoes already, but he's pulling a white T-shirt over his head. I walk into the bathroom and scan my counter for my black eyeliner.
"Da fuck are you, eyeliner?!," I ask the air angrily, hoping my eyeliner'll show up, "Soar! Have you seen my eyeliner!"
"Nah, babe," Soarin' says, shrugging.
"Ugh!," I say, searching the drawers of my fancy hotel-ish, wooden sink cabinets, "I should've done this earlier!"
"Babe, calm down," Soarin' says calmly, "Where was the last place you had your eyeliner?"
"That's the problem, Soar," I say, silently freaking out, "I only remember putting it back on the counter in here!"
Soarin' nods, in deep thought. He says, smiling,
"Maybe you can just ask your mom or Spectra if you can just borrow their eyeliner."
"You make a good point," I say, "But I'd rather have my own. (*Sigh*) I'll go ask."
I walk to my mother's room. I knock on the door a few times, dreading her slightly annoying, bubbly behavior. Nah, I'm kiddin'. My mom has a girly side, but she also has a wild-ish side, like me. I love my mom, even when she does embarrassing stuff. My mother opens the door, smiling hugely.
"Morning, sweetie!," mom says, "Where are you going?"
"Rarity wants us to get fitted for the Homecoming dresses she's making for us," I say seriously, "Hey, mom, have you seen my eyeliner?"
"Yes!," my mom says, "Your room door was open and Spectra needed eyeliner, so she borrowed yours. That's what she told me when I saw her coming out of your room."
"WHAT?!," I yell angrily, "I never said she - Where the hell is she?"
"Ummm," mom says, confused, "Her room, maybe? And watch your mouth. I know I'm not innocent, but you're only a teenager."
"Sorry," I say, "I just can't believe she thinks it's okay to 'borrow' from me without my permission!"
"Good point," mom says.
"Bye, mom," I say, smiling, "I gotta go find the eyeliner thief."
"Okay," mom says, laughing, and then she closes her bedroom door.
Slightly happy from my talk with my mom, I walk to Spectra's room. Spectra, my 19-year-old cousin, can be helpful, but most of the time she's just annoying. If I have to hear one more lecture on how I shouldn't get too close to my boyfriend... if she tells me one more time to "not be like her and end up a teenage mother", I'll scream and punch her. I'm not you, Specs. I know how to be around my boyfriend without screwing him. Even if it almost happened earlier. I'm glad Spectra doesn't know about me and Soarin's little "kiss that almost turned into something else" this morning. I knock on her door softly, expecting her to answer it. However, her boyfriend, J.J., answers, wearing nothing but black pajama pants. His black hair is everywhere.
"Morning, Dash," J.J. says to me, grinning a bit.
"Hi, Jr.," I say in a monotone voice, "Now where's Specs?"
"Hey, Specs!," J.J. calls out to my cousin, "Dash wants you!"
"For what?," I hear Spectra say in an annoyed tone, as if she really has any right to be annoyed with me (she doesn't).
"I don't have time for this," I say angrily, shoving J.J. out of my way, "Spectra, give me back - WHOA! T-M-I!"
I shield my eyes from her naked body. I did not need to see that. Still covering my eyes, I tell Spectra angrily,
"Give me back my eyeliner!"
"You barged in here for eyeliner?!," Spectra asks me incredulously, her eyebrows 10 feet in the air.
"If you had returned what didn't belong to you, I wouldn't be in here at all!," I tell her angrily.
"Ugh," Spectra says, "Jay, go get that eyeliner off of my sink."
"Okay," J.J. says, walking to their bathroom, smiling at her as he goes.
"So," Spectra says, her tone serious, "Where're you going?"
"Why do you care?," I ask, still covering my face, "And will you pull the blanket over your chest or... something?!"
"Why?," she asks, smiling, "It's my room, Rainbow Dork."
"That wasn't even clever," I say with a smirk, "Come at me harder."
"Okay, Rainbow Crash," she says, smirking, which is the worst mistake anyone who isn't Applejack could make.
J.J. walks out of the bathroom as I smack Spectra's face. Hard. J.J. just stares at me like I'm crazy. I snatch my eyeliner out of his left hand.
"You knew that bullies called me that to hurt me," I say, almost in tears, "Why would you?"
I walked out of the room, trying to hold in my emotions (typical me, right?).
"Dash, wait!," I hear Spectra yell out.
I turn to see her wearing a robe. She hugs me, saying,
"That was stupid. I shouldn't have used that particular insult. I could've picked something that doesn't remind you of... them. I'm sorry."
I nod and go back to my room. Soarin' smiles as I enter, but his smile fades.
"Who did what to you and whose ass am I kicking?," he asks, making me smile.
"I'm fine," I say as I close my left bedroom door, "I just gotta put on my eyeliner and then we'll get outta here."
Soarin' nods, his smile returning. I walk past him, go into my bathroom, apply the eyeliner to my eyes, put the eyeliner in my makeup drawer, and walk out, taking some chapstick with me. I grab my house keys and then Soarin' and I leave the house.

{9:20am, The Carousel Boutique}
"You're late," Rarity tells Soarin' and I angrily.
"No shit," I reply, forever the girl to have snappy, sarcastic comebacks.
The rest of the "Main 6" are here at the Carousel Boutique too, trying not to laugh. Their boyfriends are holding in their laughter along with... Barn Keeper? What's he doing here?
"He's here to get fitted for a tux, of course!," Rarity says excitedly, her "shipping" face so obvious.
"Really, now?," I ask with a smirk, "(To Applejack) So has he asked you to Homecoming yet?"
As I expected, everyone snickers as A.J. turns as red as - wait for it - an apple. Pun intended. God, I can't believe I just made that joke. I grin and ask Barney,
"So... are you gonna ask her, or stand there like a dick?"
"Rainbow Artemis Dash!," Rarity yells, sounding like my mom, "What in Equestria was that?!"
"Ah, Rarity," I say, still grinning, "When have I ever been censored? You know me! I say whatever the hell you guys are afraid to! You know you were all thinking the same thing I was."
"Yeah," Twilight says, smirking (I'm not kidding), "Pretty much."
"See?," I say happily, referring to Egghead's statement.
Rarity sighs and says to me,
"Alright, I admit to wondering if Barney asked her to Homecoming. But I don't talk the way you do, darling. Now. Into the back! (*Grinning*) We need to get you fitted for your Homecoming ensemble!"
"You're gonna try to force me into a dress, aren't you?," I ask Rarity as she leads me to the back of the CB, fearing the answer I already knew was coming.
"Why of course, Dashie, darling!," Rarity replies, making me groan in protest, "You're too tall and gorgeous to hide your envy-provoking figure in boyish clothing. Wait. The outfit you're wearing isn't hiding you. You look fabulous, dear! In your own Rockstar-y way."
"Thanks?," I say, my left eyebrow raised, "I think."
"It was most definitely a compliment," Rarity says sincerely, smiling, "What's the story behind that choker?"
"What do you mean?," I ask her, surprised we're even having an innocent, jealousy-free conversation instead of arguing.
"The little charm hanging from it has a 'P' and a triangle on it," Rarity says, "What does it mean?"
"Oh," I say, smiling, "It's Greek! The 'P' isn't a P, it's the Greek letter 'Rho'. You have to roll the 'R' in 'Rho' like I did. The triangle is the Greek letter 'Delta'. But it's got a 'th' sound, as in 'that' or 'there'. What letters do 'Rho' and 'Delta' start with?"
"R and D," Rarity replies, and then her face brightens up as she smiles, "They're your initials, but in Greek!"
"Tada!," I say, laughing, "You just had your first lesson in Greek."
"That's so interesting!," Rarity says happily, measuring tape draped around her neck, "Tell me more as I measure you!"
"Umm...," I say, shocked, "(*Smiling*) Sure!"
As she measures me and records said measurements, I try to teach her the Greek alphabet, grinning with happiness as I do so. Her face brightens every time she learns a new letter. She smiles and asks questions. We're getting along! Finally! After a while, she is done.
"The dresses will be done by tomorrow night!," Rarity tells me happily, smiling, "Thank you for teaching me such an interesting subject!"
"Any time, Rare," I say, grabbing my jacket from the chair I sat it on, "But my dress better be bad-ass. That's the only way you'll get me to willingly wear a dress."
"Of course, Dashie," Rarity says, laughing, "Is there anything you want specifically?"
"Nah," I say with a smile, "I trust you."
She squeals (typical) and hugs me. I roll my eyes playfully, hugging her back tightly. She calls for Soarin' to come back here so that she can get his measurements. After she was done, she told him the tuxes will be done by tomorrow as well. I put my leather jacket back on and then Soarin' and I leave with the others. Rarity waves and we wave back. Strangely, my wave had a little more enthusiasm than I expected. Whatever. I'm happy. I no longer have an issue with wearing a dress, either. This day was awesome. And it's about to get more awesome (if that's even possible right now).

||Applejack's POV: Not Again... O_O||
{5:40pm, In Canterlot High's Student Store}
Here we go again... I'm standin' in a long line with Rarity in CHS' student store. Everyone, includin' me and Rarity, are wearin' blue and gold, our school colors. I'm hopin' I'll actually have a chance to get snacks before the big football game starts. A deep, male voice says,
"All hail her awesomness, Rainbow Dash, Queen of the Wondercolts!"
"Thanks bro," Dash's voice says.
I shake my head, laughin'. Like Dash's ego needs to get any bigger. It's already the size of her house! Dash jumps on my back and steals my brown cowgirl hat.
"'Sup, Applewack?," she asks playfully, placin' my hat on her head.
"Nothin'," I say, grinning, "Now gimme my hat back, Rainbow Crash."
Dash, who's wearin' her Wondercolts hoodie, has a sad expression as she hands me the hat. What did I do?
"You all right, Sugar Cube?," I ask Dash, whose wings are flappin' softly as she lands on the floor sadly.
"Nothing," Dash says (I know she's lyin').
Her face went sad the minute I called her "Rainbow Crash". Now I get it. The name was used as an insult in the past, but I never used it in that way. It's just now gettin' to her.
"I'll stop callin' ya 'Rainbow Crash', okay?," I tell Dash, lookin' at her sad face.
"Why?," a boy asks, smirkin', (I can hear the evil in his voice), "That's who she is, isn't she?"
"No it ain't!," I say angrily, "(To Dash) Is everything okay, Dash?"
Dash ignores me and walks out of the store with a walk no one can match. I call it the "Confidence Walk". Even when she's at her saddest, she walks like that.
"Dash has so much swag, it would break the 'Swagometer'!," a random girl says, watching the doorway even though Dash was already gone.
I smile, agreein' with the girl on Dash's "swag" level. I don't usually use the word "swag", but hey. If it describes my best friend, then so be it. I hear Rarity's voice say,
"Her name is Rainbow Dash and if you don't respect her... Celestia help me, I'll go all Jackie Chan on you!"
I've seen Rarity go all "Jackie Chan" before (over a rock she named "Tom"), but what? I laugh.
"Rarity," I say, smilin', "Ignore him. Let's just get us and Dash some snacks and leave."
"You're right, Applejack," Rarity says, smilin' at me, "I'm gonna calm down now."
"Good," I say with a nod of my head.

||Twilight Sparkle's POV: Go Canterlot High! XD||
{6:20, CHS' Football Field Bleachers}
I cheer as CHS' points go up during the big Homecoming football game. Dash is cheering the loudest, stuffing her face with a chocolate Hostess cupcake. Gilda, who transfered here, is cheering with her.
"Oh!," Dash says as one of the other team's players gets tackled, her mouth full of cupcake, "Tha's go'a hur'!"
"Oh, my," Rarity says, shocked, "That does look like it hurts."
"Getting tackled is not fun," Dash says, forever the sports expert of our group, "Trust me."
Well, seeing as she loves sports, I'm sure she's played football and knows how getting tackled feels.
"Look!," I say happily, pointing to the school band with a huge grin, "There's Pinkie!"
"Yeah!," Dash says, grinning, "(*Waving her long arms*) PINKS! OVER HERE!"
I watch as Pinkie mouths "What the -?", her blue eyes scanning the crowd. She grins when her eyes land on us waving at her. She waves back at us. I smile as I see my friends enjoying this game. Dash's excitement and her mended relationship with Gilda have me smiling the most.

||Soarin's POV: Hanging With Dash (Man, I love her! ^^)||
{9:20pm, Rainbow Manor, Rainbow Dash's Room}
"Did you see that?!," Dash asks happily, standing on her bed, wearing her Wondercolts hoodie over her underwear and nothing else, "He just slammed into that guy! Gilda and I were all, 'Oh, shit!'. And we freakin' won? Oh, yeah. This is the best day ever."
I smile and she hops off of the bed. She walks into her closet and returns wearing nothing but her black sports bra and black underwear. She leaps into her bed and hugs me, giggling. I laugh.
"Babe," I begin, smiling, "What are you doing?"
She shrugs and giggles more. She says,
"I'm just happy, I guess. I love you, Soarin'."
I look at her with a huge grin on my face. She makes me so happy.
"I love you like crazy," I tell her with a bigger grin, and then I kiss her.
"Night," she says once we break apart.
"Goodnight, babe," I say, smiling as she snuggles up to me, clutching my white T-shirt.
She falls asleep fast, snoring almost immediately. I chuckle and go to sleep myself, still dreaming of me and her being married Wonderbolts.
