"When are you going to admit to her that you like her? I'm tired of watching you two gaze at each other for hours lovingly and do nothing about it." Travis Shaw told his best friend, Christian Yelich.

The her he was referring to was Jen, a trainer on staff for the Brewers. She was beautiful, funny, kind, and totally Christian's type. It was incredibly obvious the two liked each other to everyone but the two of them. Also the fact that their relationship would be forbidden by the rules of their contracts.

"Travis, you know I can't. It's against the rules, and there's no way she likes me. Have you seen the way she looks at you, man? Maybe you should be the one going for her!" Christian said and Travis scoffed. He had been sworn to secrecy by Jen that he wouldn't tell Christian that she liked him, but he was finding this promise extremely hard to fulfill in this situation. But he promised her he wouldn't say anything, so he went on his way until he ran into Jen.

"Hey Jen, what's up?" He asked the girl. "Not much, how are you?" She asked and he shrugged. "Pretty good." He told her and she nodded.

"Christian likes you." He blurted out and immediately covered his mouth. Jen was completely shocked. She was unaware that Christian felt the same way about her.

"Oh my god," she smiled. "I have to tell him." She told Travis. An immediate wave of confidence overcame Jen. She hugged Travis and began asking people if anyone knew where Christian was.

When she was told he was in the clubhouse, she went to the clubhouse and waited outside for him to come out. After a few short minutes, Christian finally came out. Jen's heart started pounding as he approached her.

"Hey, you were looking for me? What's up? Do you need something? Is everything okay?" He asked. Jen took a deep breath and did something she couldn't believe she did.

She kissed him.

Christian stumbled but almost immediately gained his balance and kissed her back. The kiss continued for a few seconds, but Jen pulled away before it went too far.

She leaned her forehead against his and he smiled, kissing her nose. "You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that." He said and she smiled, nodding in agreement.

Soon enough, they heard cheers, whistles, and clapping coming from the team. Jen blushed and buried her face in Christian's chest, Christian just laughing.

"Shaw, you're lucky this worked out!" Christian yelled and everyone laughed, knowing Shaw was indeed the one who spilled the beans. "I've never been so grateful for Travis and his big mouth."
