Part 47: See you again
A/N: Hey guys, I don't know if you saw the end of the last chapter, because Wattpad was acting crazy... It delated the end and the title of my last chapter. Anyway, it's all fixed now, and if you didn't see the end of Part 46: Meet my world, here it is. Enjoy, and thank you all for reading, it means a lot:)
June's point of view
What he did wasn't bad, I'm actually happy he did that. It showed me how proud he is to be with me. "I'm not mad at you." I said with a grin. As I was about to kiss him, Michael's phone rang. He excused himself and let go of me as he went in the kitchen. That's weird, I thought. He normally doesn't mind having a phone call in front of me. I don't know why he left...
A few seconds later, Michael was back with the largest smile on his lips. I didn't know why he was smiling like this, but I couldn't help but smile as much as him. He grabbed my hand and dragged me outside. I tried to ask him what was it all about, but he didn't answer. When we got outside, in the front of the Ranch, there she was, with the biggest smile on her face. She let go of the woman's hand and she ran to me. I couldn't help but shed a tear.
It's her, it's little Beverly from Munich.

June's point of view
Beverly seems to get better, and I couldn't be happier. This little girl is such a sweetheart. We really bounded back in Munich. She's been through so much things, I don't know how she can handle it... She's so young! Why should a eigh year old girl has to been through death, loss and sickness? Why God is doing this to her? I'm sure she doesn't deserve it. Any children in the whole world don't deserve such things. Children are so innocent and full of life... I can't understand the reason why.
Michael also invited Ryan White and his mother. Ryan is a sixteen year old boy who turned out to be HIV positive. The both of them became friends through the years. Michael protects him a lot, and is scandalized by what happened to this boy. Indeed, when he discovered he was HIV positive, the poor boy was expelled from his school because the teachers and the Principal were afraid he infect other pupils. It's true this disease isn't well-known yet, but people shouldn't be afraid of what they don't know, they shouldn't say stuff about what they don't know. I can't stand this kind of people, the ignorant ones.
While Michael, Ryan and his mother had a talk, I had a walk with Beverly and her aunt around Neverland. I asked her aunt how the little girl was feeling, and she explained to me that she was getting a little bit better, and that it's because of Michael. When she told her she was invited at Neverland to be with Michael and me, she literally jumped eveywhere from joy. She said she rarely saw her this happy since she lost her parents. It warms up my heart to know this, really. Michael knows how to make people happy, and this is one of the numerous things I love about him.
"Oh June! Look! A baby chimp!" Beverly exclaimed, pointing Bubbles with her index finger, which made me smile.
"This is Bubbles, Michael's chimp." I answered, smiling. I squated and called Bubbles who came running to me. He jumped in my arms, and made me fall on my butt. This chimp's so silly, but I love him. "Hey Bubbles, meet Beverly and her aunt, Tara." I smiled. They both gently rubbed his head, which made Bubbles hide in the crook of my neck. "Ohhh, my baby chimp is shy, isn't he?" I cooed, rocking him back and forth, still on the floor.
"He's so cute!" Beverly said, giggling. "Why isn't he in a cage or something?" She curiously asked.
"Well, Michael says that monkeys are our ancestors, so they shouldn't be locked in a cage like animals even if they actually are animals." I answered, smiling. She nodded, visibly really interested. "If some of the animals Michael ownes wasn't dangerous, he woulf free all of them so they could walk peacefully through Neverland"
"That would be coooool" She declared, getting the picture in her head. "Wait, our ancestors were monkeys?"
"Yes, sweetie. Man is coming from the monkey, you'll learn that at school." I said, while getting up, Bubbles still holding on my neck. "What would you like to do?" I asked her.
"Well, we don't want to abuse your kindness, Mrs Jackson." Beverly's aunt said. Mrs Jackson? Huh?
"Oh auntie, you're so silly!" Beverly giggled. "June isn't Michael's wife... Well, not yet."
"Oh, um... I'm sorry, I--" She began, but I cut her off.
"It's ok, don't worry about this. Please, call me June." I said with a wide smile. She nodded and slightly blushed. Seriously, I love being called that way... Mrs Jackson.
"When are you and Michael getting married, June?" Beverly asked, excitidely jumping up and down.
"Beverly! We don't ask such things, this is private." Her aunt explained.
"I don't mind answering, Mrs Jones." I said with a smile. I looked down at the little girl, and explained that we'll get married when it's the right time. She smiled widely and told me how much she'd like to witness it. I swear, this girl is so cute. When I looked at Bubbles in my arms, I noticed he was sleeping. He's a momma's chimp, I can tell you this.
A couple of minutes later, we were joined by Michael, Ryan and his mom. A smile instantaneously appeared on my face at the sight of the man I love.
"Looks like someone's making himself comfortable." Michael said, looking at Bubbles in my arms.
"Jealous?" Ryan asked, which caused her mom to hit his arm playfully. "Come on, I'm kidding, mom" he said, giggling.
"I swear this chimp has a thing with June since the beginning!" Michael exclaimed, which caused me to laugh.
"Well, I don't mind. He's kind of my baby" I said, shrugging my shoulders.
"Oh, you'd like to have babies?" Beverly asked immediatly, clapping her hands.
"Yeah, tons of little girls like you running eveywhere" I said, rubbing her cheek with my free hand. She blushed hard and smiled. I laid my eyes on Michael, and noticed he was looking at me with those sparkly eyes I love. I know he wants children more than anything else, and that's something we have in common. Children are the future, they'll be the only way we have to be a part of this future we don't belong to.
"That's awkward" I heard Ryan said, which snapped me and Michael from our thoughts. "Are you done looking at each other?" He jokingly asked. I slightly shook my head and looked at him, playfully shaking my head at him, laughing.
"So!" Michael exlaimed, clapping his hands. "What about a movie in the movie theater?" He joyfully asked.
"Yay!" Beverly shouted enthusiastically. "But I wanna seat next to June!" she continued, which made me smile.
"I was about to ask for the same thing" I said, winking at her.
"Deal. Let's go then!"
Before we headed to the movie theater, Beverly's aunt excused herself and told us she had to visit a friend of hers who lives a few miles away from here. She told me she should be back around six in the afternoon, and asked me if it bothered me to keep an eye on Beverly while she's gone. Of course I accepted, it's not bothering at all to keep an eye on such a sweet little girl. I put Bubbles in his hammock, and followed Michael and Ryan in the movie theater, Beverly's little hand in mine.
Once there, Michael asked the kids what kind of movie they wanted to watch, and we all agreed on Back to the Future. Ryan and his mom sat at the first row, and Michael, Beverly and I sat just behind them, at the second row. Michael took care of eveything and brang candies and popcorn for everybody. What is a movie without popcorn?
As planned, Beverly sat by my side, and Michael sat by my other side. The lights went off, and the movie began. I felt Michael's hand reaching on my thigh, and put mine against his. I looked up at him, and gave him a warm smile. Even if the room was dark, I know he could see me thanks to the screen's light, so I mouthed him "Thank you". He mouthed "I love you" back at me, and I felt the urge to kiss him, but my shyness put a stop at this urge...
One hour passed by, and Beverly is asleep in her seat. Sadly, Ryan and his mom had to go because the poor boy was feeling bad. It broke Michael's heart to see him like this, I can tell. Anyway, we'll see him very soon again, I'm sure about this. Michael really likes him, and he really likes Michael. They really get along.
"I'm sorry Ryan left, baby" I whispered, I didn't want to wake the little princess who was sleeping next to me.
"It's ok, he'll be back soon." He also whispered, wealky smiling. "It saddens me to see what he has to go through... I wish I could help him."
"You do help him, honey. All of those kids who come here, you help them. But with Ryan, it's even more than this. You're offering him friendship, something this poor boy don't know because teens his age are afraid by his disease. I think your really important for him, and your love and support help him a lot." I quietly said with a smile, rubbing his cheek with my hand.
"I guess you're right. Thank you, baby girl."
"No, thank you. I'm so happy to see her again, and she's healthier, now." I said, looking down at Beverly.
"I knew you'd like your surprise" He said, smiling at me.
"I love it. And I love you." I declared, reaching his lips and giving him a sweet kiss.
That's when Beverly began to cough uncontrollably.
What the hell is happenning to her?
