Part 3: Getting Closer to The Dream

When I woke up on the next morning, I knew I was getting closer to my dream, closer to the giant star that Michael Jackson is. I dreamt about this all night: him, on the stage, and me, watching him every single second, singing ever single lyric of his songs. This dream felt so real.

Anna and I concluded yesterday that we had to sleep in front of the doors if we wanna be as close to Michael as possible. I packed a little blanket, some water and something to eat in a little backpack, and I decided then to make some signs. I took a cardboard, and began to do my art. I decided to write “Smooth but not a Criminal” on one of them: this is so Michael. He seems so smooth and sweet. I'm melting when I hear him talking, or singing. His voice is so soft and calm. I can even think about him being angry. He looks like an angel. That guy is not only the King of Pop, he is also the King of a lot of hearts. Oh, this could be something good to put on a sign, “King of Hearts”.

I wish I could have a man like Michael. You know, the loving (and hot) kind of guy. I think I'll do a sign where it's written “Michael, will you marry me?”.

When it was finally time to leave, I kissed my mom and dad goodbye and I left, my backpack on. I texted Anna and told her I was coming to pocket her up, and hopped in my car. You can't even imagine how excited I was at that moment. It was crazy.

When I parked in front of Anna's mother's house, she was already coming down the stairs. Well, she's obviously as excited as I am, I thought. Anna's always late, normally. She put her stuff on the backseat, and we left.

"Did I tell you I love you for this?" She asked me.

"Yup, Anna. You already told me," I laughed, my eyes glued to the road. "And I love you too, that's why I picked you. You're my best friend, and we met thanks to Michael, so you're the perfect person for this," I declared.

"Oh you're sweet," she smiled. "You remember the first time we met?"

"Of course I do! I can't forget you fighting with another girl because she said you were not a real fan of MJ," I chuckled.

"Yeah, maybe because this other girl was you, huh?"

"Mmmh, you're probably right. And now we're going to a MJ concert together... Weird."

We laughed together. Life surprises sometimes.

When we arrived in front of the doors, there were like twenty people in front of us, preparing their night outside to have the chance to be the closest possible from Michael, and of course there was music. Michael's music, obvisously, and The Way You Make Me Feel was playing. I love this song.

I love them all, actually.
