Mika : you speak as if you miss me.

Darui ; I do. When you were at our village working those non-village related missions.

Mika : you were nice enough to help take me in on missions, even though I was kind of labelled as a rogue ninja.

Darui: you helped a lot. Willing to take up any missions.

Mika : mostly because I was bored and needed money.

Darui: I heard you went to konoha after for the same kind of missions.

Mika : I did.

Darui : we missed you since you left. There wasn't anyone fitting to just go on any missions when we needed .

Mika laughed " I remember. Raikage called me, the super backup. "

Darui laughed as well " there was that. "

Mika : super convenient backup.

Darui :  well, I'm glad we're working together this time

Mika: me too !

Darui : we're situated at the sea. You would have the best place to show your abilities huh.

Mika: .... Sighs.... Looks like I need to go practice a little some of my ninjutsu techniques.

Darui : is that so ? You're Mizu Onna.

Mika : I'm not that, confident. I've been not a ninja for a few years.

Darui : true.

Mika : I heard... You requested me.

Darui : I did.

Mika: shouldn't you choose someone you trust ? Instead of someone like me. I'll still be sent to this company because of my abilities . Maybe as a platoon leader.

Darui : I trust you. Plus... Shikaku-san did try to recommend you.

Mika laughed a little " I see ... " She nods pretending to believe.

Darui ; I do. I trust you. I agree with him too. You were once a trusted and important ninja of your own village too.

Mika : ok ok. I'm not doubting you.

Darui smiled " you were teasing me. "

Shikaku: hai.

Mika sighs as she held the papers in her hand " got it. "

Shikaku: feeling back like Mizu Onna yet ?

Mika : haha. Not funny shikaku-san. I've to remember these things about my company.

Mika looked up to him " huh ? Why ?"

Mika : I know. I understand. Do what's best for the war.

Shikaku : um.

Mika : this war... Feels a lot different like the one I had when I was young .

Shikaku: a good different ?

She smiled " hai. "

Mika : what's the matter ?

" The tents you asked for, are ready"

Mika : ok. Placed them there and there and ...

" Got it. "

" Mika-san. "

" Hai ! " She turned around and realised who had called her. She smiled " kakashi-san. "

Kakashi laughed " stop it. You're busy."

Mika : getting ready for war. Setting up small healing stations some distance from the frontline. Better chance of saving people.

Kakashi: as expected of Mizu Onna.

Mika : and what have you been doing ? Copy ninja.

Kakashi: busy with stuff. But mostly gai is handling it . So I have time to come visit you.

Mika sees the cart wheeled in with weapons " ooi !! You !! "

" Hai ?" That man stopped.

Mika : not here !! Over there !! Where all the other stuff are !!

" That one ? "

Mika : ugh... The yellow one !!

" Hai !! " And he left.

Kakashi: you're even building a small top up station for weapons ?

Mika shrugged " didn't see the harm in it. It's not like we're moving anywhere far from this shoreline. Unlike you, an entire forest to cover."

Kakashi : shikaku-san must be kind of relieved. Someone like you kind of doing his job too.

Mika : eh ? This is his scope ? I was over worrying ?

" It's ok. He doesn't mind. " He hugs her in , wrapping around her waist from behind " missed you." He kissed her cheek. She blushed " the others..."

Kakashi: you're my wife. Everyone knows that.

Mika : not everyone ... I think...

Kakashi: oh. Darui.

Darui : congratulations. Though it's a bit super late...

Kakashi: on what ?

Darui : the marriage.

Kakashi: oh.  Arigatou.

Darui : you don't mind, do you ?

Kakashi: about ?

Darui : I dated Mika once.

Kakashi: of course not. We weren't a thing then. Though... Can I ask you for a favour ?

Darui : hai ?

Kakashi : ... Could you help me take care of her while she's your assistant ? She tends to go a bit far without thinking much for herself.

Darui : of course. No problem. She's my friend.

" Arigatou. " Kakashi pats darui on the arm and gave out a breath of relief.
