A/N: I DECIDED TO PUBLISH A FEW DAYS EARLY BECAUSE I'M LITERALLY AHEAD OF WRITING BY 30 CHAPTERS

"1,000?!" I gaped. "Isn't that a lot?"

Ryujin nodded.

"Now, announcing 49th place!" Hongchul said. "They were in the debut group, but got pushed down."

"KIM DONGHYUN!"

All the contestants, including me, were genuinely surprised. Donghyun is really popular, since he's from the group "A.C.E.", but his rank got so low.

49th and up for girls started, and my name was yet to be called for spot 49 and 48. I honestly was hoping to avoid those spots, I was hoping to get a higher rank.

"RANK 47th IS JYP's..."

"Oh no, it's one of us it's one of us..." I whispered to Ryujin.

"It has to be me...unless I don't even have a chair at all." She said.

"HWANG JIHYUN!"

"No way..."

"How??" Ryujin asked.

I saw the other contestants whisper to each other in confusion.

I quietly stood up and made my way to the stairs, taking a seat on the 47th chair. I was really disappointed in myself, I hoped that I would make it to the top 9, but I didn't even make it to the 10's.

At least I got a seat.

Hongchul continued announcing result until he reached the top 9. Ryujin's rank hadn't been called yet.

"5TH PLACE IS HAPPYFACE's..."

I looked at the HappyFace members. Jinyoung was the most popular out of them, but how could his rank climb up so high so suddenly?

"WOO JINYOUNG!"

"Woahhh..." I said in awe as Jinyoung walked up the stairs. "He went up that much??"

After the boys ranks were announced, the girls top 9 was left. I waited anxiously, hoping at least Ryujin would be part of them.

The ranks continued, until 1st place.

"FIRST PLACE BELONGS TO..."

"I think it's Sujin." A girl with long brown hair and bangs sitting next to me said.

"I hope it's Ryujin." I said, but Sujin being first did make sense.

Lee Sujin was indeed 1st place. My jaw dropped at Ryujin, who hadn't been called.

"That means Ryujin's rank is under 49..."

It honestly made no sense to me. She was A-class, and then suddenly dropped down to rank...55??

"NOW ANNOUNCING THE TOTAL SCORES FOR BOYS AGAINST GIRLS!"

I had forgotten this was a battle against girls and girls, boys and boys, and boys and girls.

The score for the boys was 28650.

The score for the girls was 25680.

The boys side starting cheering, while our side was disappointed.

1000 points was quite a lot, so I was sad that we didn't get it. But the boys has an advantage because fangirls are absolute beasts. They literally can do anything.

Mine and Ryujin's rank was pretty low, if we were to get eliminated this early I'd seriously doubt my idol career.

I groaned when I remembered that we were doing a third mission--a position battle, against boys and girls. Honestly, I had a bad feeling going against the boys because well--they're boys.
