"HONGJUNG, I DARE YOU TO HUG HER FOR FIFTEEN MINUTES."

My head shot up in the midst of admiring my nails and I glared at Hangyeom, who had blurted out the dare.

"No--" I started, but Hongjung had already tackled me, wrapping his arms securely around my waist and pushing my head into his chest.

My cheeks flamed and my heart starting running ridiculously fast. Why? I don't know. I only thought of Hongjung as a friend, nothing else.

Nothing else at all.

"This is easy." Hongjung said casually, while I was busy trying to calm my irritatingly beating heart, that was beating for no good reason at all.

"Uh huh." I replied.

"I bet you like it, don't you?" Hongjung smirked and peered down at me. "You're blushing~"

I reached up and slapped him on the forehead. "I am not, why would I blush??"

"Yes you are, but it's fine if you don't want to admit it. Neeeeext dare."

"I'm--" I rolled my eyes as the next dare continued.

We stayed in the same position for over 15 minutes. If I didn't catch Hongjung trying to go over the time we would've been like that forever.

"Noooooo." Hongjung whined as he let go. "But you were so warm and lovely, how could you make me let you go?"

I rolled my eyes. "Don't act like that." We're only friends, after all.

But, his warmth still lingered around me, even after he returned to his seat.

Now, it was my turn for a dare.

"Truth or dare?"

"Dare." I replied. I better not regret this--

"I dare you to kiss Hyojin and make Hongjung jealous."

My jaw dropped to the floor and I probably would've stood up and smacked the living jesus out of Hangyeom, but Hongjung interrupted first.

"No kissing." He said. "That's not allowed."

"You didn't say that before--"

"I should have a say in this!" I argued.

"A dare is a dare."

I cautiously looked at Hongjung, who seemed to be silently fuming. Why does he look so angry?

And most of all, why would I kiss someone I don't like?

"Do it."

Before I could say anything else, Hongjung shook his head and stood up, pulling me by the arm to follow him.

"Huh?" I said, but obediently followed Hongjung out the door. "Where are we going? Why did you just--"

Hongjung stopped, turning around and taking steps closer to me, until I backed up against the wall, my eyes shifting to his awkwardly.

"What are you doing?" I raised my eyebrow at him. "Why are you so angry?"

"I'm not angry at you." He said.

"At the dare then? What do you have to do with it?" I asked.

Hongjung let out a sigh and then reached up, brushing a hair out of my face. "How do you not see it?"

"How do I not see what?" I asked. "Hongjung, just say it."

Hongjung eyes narrowed, and he started to lean in.

I immediately knew what was about to happen.

Why would you kiss me, Hongjung?

Even though I knew it was going to happen, I didn't stop him. I felt his soft lips on mine, and them pulling back in a mere 2 seconds.

When he leaned back  and was looking at me, I could feel the immense heat rising up my face.

The most confusing thing was that,

I think I enjoyed it.

Did I like Hongjung?

"I like you."

My eyes grew wide. "Why did you do that?"

"Because I like you." He repeated.

I like you.

"But...I thought you only thought of me as your friend." I muttered.

"I'm good at acting, aren't I?"

Hongjung likes me?

I like him back, don't I?

After a few seconds of silence and just staring at each other, I spoke up.

"I like you too, Hongjung." I said, the words coming out of my mouth easily.

A large smile grew on his face, and I was pushed against his body in a hug. "That's good to hear."

I chuckled, a smile growing on mine. "I didn't think much before...until you just said it now. Why didn't you tell me before? We're supposed to be best friends!"

"How could I just casually tell my best friend I've liked her for years?"

"...I-I don't know." I mumbled.

Hongjung chuckled and pulled back to look at my face. "You're so cute."

I rolled my eyes. "Am not, shut up."

Hongjung was leaning in again for a second kiss, and I closed my eyes waiting for it to happen.

"HAH! WE KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING GOING ON BETWEEN YOU TWO!!!"

My eyes snapped open and I glared at the multiple heads snickering and peeking out the door.

"KIM HYOJIN AND SONG HANGYEOM, DO YOU TWO WANT TO DIE??!"
