'Holograms, a famous form of technology that is widely renowned far and wide in the city of Santa Monica. In the year 2024, all kinds of paranormal phenomenon occur all over the city. The humans who live in this city refer to them as... Hologram Ghosts.'

It had been a good while since Halloween, which was not only the day of Angelwood Middle school's Halloween Carnival, but it was also the day that Casey Almenera and the Infernites were kidnapped by both the Glowkies (who had mysteriously been Nixed) and the Nixels, which had left the group of Alya, Amber, Angoramon, Gammamon, Henry, The Cragsters, and the 2015 Infernites, to go rescue them. Before the battle to determine the freedom of the young Mixel fangirl and her red-hot partners, Henry reached out to Flamzer and helped him see that he had no need to be afraid, and Casey and Amber, both determined to fight off the Nixels,  witnessed their Cubit Pendants (Or as they're now known, Pendits) as they gain each other's colors, both becoming grey and Red, as Flain and Seismo managed to Mix, and, with the aid of Vulk, Zorch, Meltus, Burnard, Flamzer, Krader, Shuff, Angoramon, Gammamon, and the Four human children, the Nixels were defeated, and Casey and the Infernites were rescued. A few weeks later, however, would cause a cold, yet also shocking change to two other lives...

An alarm blared on his computer, a red pop-up on his screen, reading in Big, black font, 'Warning!' Maya Kaminari walked by her cousin's room, seeing the door creaked open by just a small bit, seeing a few things on the floor. "Kii," Maya sighed, as she walked in to check on him. "You can't keep leaving your Manga on the ground, or else it's gonna get damaged- Wait, why do you look so frightened?" She then asked, as Kiyo, who was hidden under his bed's blankets, pointed above her, seeing multiple items belonging to her cousin floating in mid-air in a circular motion. "What the fudge...?" Maya mumbled to herself, shaking a bit, as Kiyo got out from under his Blankets. "I can't take this anymore!" He shouted, as Maya's Persona 5 Royal artbook was picked up by an invisible force, and tossed it at Kiyo, before the book was somehow frozen in a block of ice, as it then fell to the ground, prompting a shrill scream of terror from Kiyoshiro, and Maya to gain a look of intrigue that had spread on her face.

 "Ok, so it seems you've been having weird ice-related stuff happen to you, as well as poltergeist activity. Nothing compared to the weird thunderstorms that have been happening in town without clouds and rain lately." Maya explained, as Kiyo looked over to her, confused. "Aren't dry thunderstorms natural?" He asked her, as his cousin shook her head. "Normally, they would be, yes. But these dry thunderstorms are a bit of an odd case. They 've all been happening in the dead of night, with none of the requirements needed for it to happen. No high heat, no low humidity, nothing! Just random strikes of lightning over several parts of Santa Monica. And I can assure you, I am never going to stop trying to figure it out, not even if anyone asked me to stop!" She explained as she walked out of her cousin's room. "Now C'mon. We gotta get ready for School." She added as she walked into her room to get ready, but from behind her, a trio of small, yellow creatures followed her, only being seen for a brief moment by Kiyo, whose eyes widened in fear and shock upon seeing it.

Later that day at Angelwood Middle School, during the lunch period, Kiyo was trying to get a drink from the Vending Machine. Specifically, a bottle of iced Blueberry tea. But for some reason, the vending machine wasn't working, which was peculiar in its own right. It was working for the other students, so why did it break down on him? Then Casey, walked by him with Amber and Flamzer (The shrimp-like mixel was hitching a ride in the Mixel Fangirl's backpack, because after the event of her and the infernites getting kidnapped, Henry knew he'd need someone to watch over his little sister when she was at School.) Casey thought of Flamzer constantly going to School with her as a nuisance at first, due to her brother being overprotective as usual, but soon found that it wasn't all that bad. While she did have a talking red shrimp always with her every time she went to school, it also meant that she wasn't alone at school, and in turn, by Flamzer going with her to Angelwood Middle, he'd slowly overcome his recent fear of humans a bit more. Plus, the Shrimp-like mixel was really good at helping her study! "Hey, Casey, Amber?" Flamzer asked her, poking his head out of her bag and moved a little bit, putting his front legs on Casey's shoulders so he could see what was up in front of her, and pointed at Kiyo with one of his claws. "Who's that?" He asked her, as she looked over at Kiyo.

 "Oh, that's Kiyoshiro Shima. But he goes by Kiyo for short." Casey told the shrimp-like Mixel. "He's the School's Class Representative, originally lived in Japan from what most of the other kids in the school and Ambs told me, and Kiyo's a bit of a stickler for rules, like any other Class representative." "And he believes that he's cursed, too." Amber added. Flamzer just looked confused. "Cursed? But curses don't exist! That is, unless if we're talking about a bit of Magic gone wrong thanks to the Wiztastics, but even they can't curse someone!" Flamzer spoke up, as Kiyo kept trying to get the vending machine to work, before hanging his head low. "No response from this vending machine, either..." He mumbled, as he walked away, only saying, "I knew I was cursed..." Casey then walked over to the vending machine to get some Jarritos mandarin soda. Sure enough, a can of Mandarin soda came out of it. "Weird... This may sound like a bit of a hunch, but... Maybe something temporarily froze the machine's processors?" Casey guessed. "Maybe, but what could've frozen the machine, Case?" Amber asked her, before Flamzer's eye narrowed, having a bit of a sinking suspicion of what was responsible. "I wouldn't say 'something' or 'what' in this case, you two, but rather 'someone' and 'who'..." He said, as the dismissal bell rang moments after Flamzer had spoken up.

Later that day, Kiyo was walking home from school with Maya. "So, Maya, I've been meaning to ask you..." He told her, as they kept walking on home. "You're always seeking out knowledge about anything that really interests you, like the Hologram Ghosts. Plus, you never really show your emotions like other people. What I guess I'm trying to say is...  What do you plan on doing after you learn all that there is to know about the Hologram Ghosts?" Maya thought it over for a moment. She never took it into consideration before. "Well, I guess I'd find something else to learn about, Kii.  Besides, I think that once you know everything about something, the best thing you can do is move onto the next big puzzle that you gotta solve." She explained, as they walked over to the front door of their house, seeing that it was slightly ajar, prompting a sound of confusion from Maya. "Kii, didn't you close the front door before we left for school?" She asked him, as Kiyo then nodded. "Yeah. At least, I thought I did..." Kiyo said, as he and Maya walked into the house, seeing patches of ice scattered along the ground, and in the kitchen, the fridge was open, with a note reading, 'This cold metal box needs more Hamlogna sandwiches. - Zaptor' taped to the door. 

"What the- How is there ice in the house? And who left the fridge open?" Kiyo asked, as he saw what looked like a D-Vigor and a light blue and dark blue Pendit floating at the top of the stairway that led up to their bedrooms. "Isn't that the same smartwatch that Casey's got...?" Maya asked herself, as 3 small red droplets dropped from the ceiling, taking both of them by shock, as they both looked up, and saw scribbly writing in red reading in all capital letters, 'PUT THIS AND THE WEIRD BLUE CUBE NECKLACE ON, KIYOSHIRO'. 

"W-WRITING IN BLOOD!" Kiyo screamed in fear, as Maya's eyes sparkled. On the inside, she was terrified, but didn't show it in the slightest.  However, on the outside, she couldn't help but smile. The ice, the fridge being left open, all the items floating about and being thrown like her Persona 5 Royal artbook, even what Kiyo had told her regarding the Vending Machines at school not working, the dry thunderstorms happening despite the requirements not being met for it to happen... It all made sense now! They were all the doings of Hologram Ghosts! The Pendit and the D-Vigor kept floating towards Kiyo. "Those Hologram Ghosts must really want you to put on the necklace and smartwatch, Kii!" Kiyo, who was frightened enough as is, soon timidly stumbled to the couch, trying to get some distance between the floating objects, but they kept following him. "O-Okay, I'll put them on!" He squeaked in fear, as he put the D-Vigor on his wrist, and the Blue Pendit on around his Neck. Upon doing this, however, the D-Vigor created a small electric shock that hit a necklace that Maya's grandmother gave her, which was a small yellow and light violet lightning bolt, and upon the electric shock from Kiyo's D-Vigor hitting it, Maya's necklace changed into a Pendit with the same colors.

"M- My necklace..." Maya said in awe, looking at her thunderbolt necklace turned Pendit in amazement, as the two cousins saw what looked like 7 weird creatures standing in front of them. (Well, actually 5 were standing, the other two were flying.) One of these creatures looked somewhat like a jellyfish, but a jellyfish with faded blue skin, a pink circle in the center of its face, grey eyes, and lime green ears and tentacle tips. 

Now, the other six... Let's start with the yellow ones, shall we? Now then, the first one of the three yellow creatures was mostly yellow in color. It had a defined jaw with a tapering top to its head. On its lower jaw was a gold triangular structure that seemed to hide three fangs that looked like they'd point downwards whenever this being was to close its mouth. It also had a singular giant eye, two gold ear-like formations on top of the creature's head, and a grey band of some sort separating them from its face. Its body seemed to be a blend between both short and stocky, and tapered downwards. Its arms were yellow and widened out to pincer hands. They also seemed to have dark grey bands on the tops of them. Its legs were light grey and short, while in contrast, its feet were yellow and fairly tall, with two gold toes on each foot, making it fair to assume this lizard-like creature was a peculiar-looking human toddler (due to its height, of course) from a distance. It had a long yellow tail with a dark grey tip and two purplish-blue lightning bolt extensions on the sides.

The second yellow creature seemed mostly yellow in color. His face acts as a body as well. It is squarish and widens at the bottom. At the top of this creature's head is a gold static-charged spiky haircut. It had two small eyes that seemed to be closed together and separated by a strange, grey band. It also had a prominent lip with two fangs that pointed downwards from it. Its arms were yellow, jointed, and were also quite long. Its hands were gold, with two fingers with purplish-blue fingernail tips on the end of each. Its legs seemed to be shorter and light grey, with gold boot-like feet that also seemed to have a singular curved yellow point on the toes. It also seemed to have a gold point at the back of its body.

The third and final yellow creature, like the other two, was mostly yellow in color. Its body seemed to also double as its face and is long and oval-like. It had an eye on each side of its face and had a pronounced jaw with three sharp teeth that point upwards. On top of this creature's head was what seemed to be a Tesla coil with three discs cutting through it and two purplish-blue lightning bolts on top. Its arms were fairly short and slender and were also yellow in color with grey accents. Its hands, like the first yellow creature, and also unlike the second yellow creature, were standard yellow pincers. His legs, in contrast to its arms, seemed to be fairly long and bowed with a grey accent on the bottom of each of them. Its feet were yellow and fairly small, with what seemed like two yellow toes on each of them, ultimately making this one look like a living tesla coil or lightning rod.

Now, onto the blue creatures. The fourth one was mostly light blue in color. Its face was dark blue with a light blue stripe towards the center. An eye rested on each side of it. Its nostrils were light blue and also very prominent. If it were to open its mouth, you could see that it had a pair of widely spaced bucked teeth that pointed downwards, and a cherry red tongue. It had a light grey neck which seemed to connect to a football-shaped body that was light blue on the back and dark blue on his belly. On this creature's back were two bat-like wings. It had a pair of short but bowed grey legs with black feet with two small, white claws on each foot. At its rear was a long grey tail with a light blue tip similar to an icicle, and pair of light blue spikes on it. Its eyelids, like its belly and its face, was also a shade of dark blue.

The fifth one was also mostly light blue. Its body, which also seemed to act as its face, seemed to be a tapered down shape of some sorts, with a pair of half-open eyes resting on top of it. There seemed to be a peculiar black stripe on the very top of this creature's body, on which rested a peculiar light blue ice crystal on the middle. It had an underbite that contained a set of three sharp teeth. It also seemed to have a peculiar, darker blue fin-like extension on the creature's back. Its arms were dark blue and long, with black markings on the tops and bottoms. Its hands seemed to be made of a pair of peculiar mitten-like jagged ice crystals on the end of each arm. Its legs, in contrast to its arms, seemed to be both grey and short, with darker blue short feet with two light blue toes on each foot.

The sixth and final one was mostly blue in color. His head is somewhat of a quarter-circle shape. A slightly sleepy-looking eye is on each side of it. There is a grey stripe in the middle of it, with a lighter blue skull cap. This creature had noticeable nostrils that seemed that they could often have icicles coming out from aforementioned nostrils. It had two large and misshapen bucked teeth that pointed downwards. It had a long, grey neck with four spines on them: Two of the interior ones were aqua, whereas the exterior ones were light blue. Its body seemed to be quite short and rather iron-shaped, with a lighter blue chunk on the front of its chest, like it was a small piece of chest armor. Its arms, in contrast to its long neck, were short and slightly widened at the ends to pincer hands. Its legs were grey and also short, with it also having long black feet with two aqua-colored toes on each.

Kiyo just fell to the ground, scared. "A-Are you all Hologram Ghosts?!" He shrieked in fear, staring at the 7 creatures. Maya looked at the 6 yellow and blue creatures, however, and a smile appeared on her face. She actually knew them! That is, save for the jellyfish, the jellyfish was completely new to Maya. The girl wearing glasses quickly ran upstairs, and into her room to go and do something rather quickly. "Maya, come back! Don't leave me with the Hologram Ghosts!" It was then that the yellow lizard-like creature stepped forward a small bit, causing Kiyo to yelp, and fall backwards, his head hitting the couch. "Yowch...!" He mumbled, as the Jellyfish creature then went over to Kiyo. "Hologram Ghosts?" The jellyfish asked him, sounding a bit feminine and curious. "That seems like a pretty rude term to refer to your four partners, and the three partners of your sweet, smart cousin with!" Kiyo stared at the jellyfish, confused. "I'm Jellymon, and these other 6 randos are-" The jellyfish began, before getting cut off by a small noise of amazement escaping Gammamon's mouth, who was at the front door with Casey, Henry, and all 6 of the Infernites. "The Electroids and Frosticons; Teslo, Volectro, Zaptor, Flurr, Slumbo, and Lunk. I should've known that they were behind the strange occurrences happening with Kiyo and the weird dry thunderstorms." Casey mumbled to herself, as Teslo went over to her. 

"No, no, you got it all wrong, mizz!" Teslo tried to explain to Casey. "We weren't trying to do any harm of the zorts. We were just trying to get Maya and Kiyozhiro to notice us. Well,  Zaptor, Volectro, and I were trying to get Maya to notice us. Jellymon and the Frosticons were trying to do that with Kiyoshiro. We just... Forgot that most people can't normally see us without a D-Vigor or a Pendit." It was then that Kiyo got up. "So Jellymon and the Frosticons thought I'd notice them by haunting me via poltergeist activity?!" He then shouted, glaring at the blue mixels and the jellyfish. Jellymon then turned around, picking up a few boxes with her tentacles. "I was just throwing things around. And as for that artbook thing your cousin Maya treasured, my aim was a bit off, so Flurry-Blurry over here froze it solid before it hit you square in the face." Flurr then sighed, "Jellymon, please don't call me that... Besides, I had to protect Kiyo somehow..." The Frosticon dragon said, as Henry then decided to step in. "So, Jellymon, why were you messing with Kiyo like that?" He asked, holding Flamzer in his arms. Jellymon just giggled as she got closer to Kiyo. "I've never seen a single human get so scared before! It was just so funny, that I just couldn't pass up the chance! Now, if you'll all allow me to, for a lack of better terms, slip into something more comfortable!" Jellymon laughed, as her eyes closed and sunk into her head, and then a pair of light pink arms with five small, black fingers pushed the jellyfish body upwards, as a small pink head with darkish-blue eyes popped out, as well as a slim body wearing a black-and- hot pink-striped-bodysuit. "Nice stretch." Slumbo then smiled upon seeing this, as Maya quickly raced to the stairway. 

"Kii, your computer's beeping and blaring again!"  She called to him from the top of aforementioned stairway, as Kiyo then ran upstairs, and then into his room, As the Almenera siblings, Gammamon, and the 6 Infernites then followed the two cousins into their room, not knowing that the Frosticons, Electroids, and Jellymon were following them, as Flamzer hopped onto Kiyo's desk. "What's all this?" He asked, as Kiyo then sighed. "Well, before me and Maya found out about Jellymon, the Frosticons, and the Electroids, I was sick and tired of being cursed, so I decided to program some Virtual Talismans and installed them around Santa Monica." He then explained, as Flain looked over at him. "You said 'around Santa Monica'. How many did you install?" The leader of the 2014 Infernites asked Kiyo. "... One thousand." He meekly answered, as the siblings and the Infernites just looked shocked (save for Burnard,  that is). "ONE THOUSAND?!?" They shouted, as Burnard just laughed. "That's a lot. Where'd you install them, anyways?" The chameleon-like Mixel asked him. "Well, I installed a couple at the school, that's a given, but also in some nearby ATMs and inside the phones of my friends and classmates." Kiyo said, as Casey just had a dumbfounded look on her face, whereas Gammamon was flying upside down, seeming as if he were thinking to himself about something.

"But it's so strange! The alarm went off late, even after Jellymon and the others showed up. I-it failed...!" Kiyo said worriedly, as Flurr flew over to the windowsill in Kiyo's room, and then landed on it. "I've got a really bad feeling..." He mumbled to himself, as Teslo, Flain, Jellymon, Gammamon, and Flamzer all looked out the window with the blue ice dragon mixel, and nodded in agreement. Whatever the source of Flurr's bad feeling was, the 6 of them all knew that it certainly wasn't good.

Later that evening at the Roark household, Alya had just finished her Piano practice for the rest of the day, before Amber came in. "Hey, uh, lil sis? Angoramon and the Cragsters have been staring out the kitchen window for the past 5 hours..." Amber told her. "Wait, seriously?" The younger Roark sibling asked her, as she got up from her seat, and walked over to the kitchen, where she saw Angoramon, Seismo, and Shuff staring out the window, with Krader standing on the windowsill, looking out the window. "Guys?" Alya asked the three Cragster mixels and the anthropomorphic rabbit Digimon. "Are you ok?" It was then that Angoramon looked over to the two siblings, a worried expression on his face, as if he knew exactly what was happening. "The six of us need to find Casey and Henry- Now." He said, as he rushed out the door. Alya and Amber both looked at each other, and then at the Cragsters, before they followed the giant, anthropomorphic rabbit Digimon to wherever he was headed.

"Y-You're kidding, right?" Kiyo asked Casey, confused. "Nope. Once you've got a Pendit or a D-Vigor, you've got Mixel partners, and it also makes you one of the twenty-five humans mentioned in the prophecy that are destined to defeat Regulusmon and Bring back planet Mixel and the Mixel Moon in the process, alongside the other Chosen Ones. I don't exactly know why you got the Frosticons, though..." She said, as Jellymon snickered, and floated over to Casey. "Oh, trust me, lil' candle; I got some real good scuttlebutt on that and then some!" The humanoid mollusk Digimon said with a cheeky smile, earning a confused look from both Henry and Flain, prompting an annoyed sigh from Jellymon. "She's partnered with the original fire Mixels, Lil' Candle was genuinely the best nickname I could think of on the spot, and Scuttlebutt's slang for gossip." She then took a deep breath.

 "Now, let me set the stage involving the Scuttlebutt regarding Kiyoshiro Shima, and why he, of all people, is the Human partner to the Chilled-out 2014 Frosticons. It was a cold afternoon in Alaska on August 31st, 2014. The time was 2 PM." Jellymon began. 'August 31st, 2014...' Casey thought to herself. The date was so familiar to her- That was the day that the Mixed-up Special aired on Cartoon Network! "That 'Biggest and Most epic Mixels Minisode ever', or as the net said it was advertised as on Cartoon Network, The Mixed-Up Special, had begun playing on the channel, and Maya Kaminari, who came over to spend the day with her cousin and was only 9 years old at the time, begged him to watch it with her. And, like any good older cousin, he did, thus creating his gateway into the franchise! As the TV special went on and eventually ended 30 minutes later, Mr. Class Representative over here soon discovered that, while Maya really liked the energetic Electroids, he eventually had found out that he had a secret liking towards the tribe of cryokinetic mixels, especially Lunk! The slowest of all the Frosticons! Which is really saying something when you consider their cousins who were introduced into the series one year later, since they all have boosters to help them be so much swifter!" Jellymon snickered, which prompted Kiyo to lay on his bed, and faced the wall. 

"Well, it's no secret anymore..." He then said defeatedly. Jellymon soon leaned towards Kiyo, looking furious. "And might I add a stupid secret, too! What're you gonna reveal to us all next? That you were inspired by the Medix to use Bandages that you don't even need for your right arm ever since Nixel Nixel Go Away Aired on October 1st of 2016?!" Jellymon yelled at him prompting a stifled laugh from Burnard, Volectro, and Slumbo, as Kiyo's voice then trembled ominously, as he used his left hand to grasp his trembling right arm. "If you say anything else and the three of you continue to laugh at me, it'll undo the bandage's seal...!" Upon hearing Kiyo's words, Gammamon perked up, and happily asked, "The bandage's meal?" Casey just smiled upon seeing Gammamon so happy, before getting an e-mail from Angelwood Middle School on her phone. It read,

'To all students and Parents of Angelwood Middle School, an outbreak of White snakes has formed over the course of the school day, and therefore are now currently slithering all over the city of Santa Monica. Until the snakes are eradicated, Angelwood Middle School and all of the other schools in Los Angeles County shall be closed to ensure the Safety of our students, and to ensure the safety of all personnel in the city. Stay safe, Angelwood Seraphs!'

 Burnard saw the e-mail and cheered. "Woo-hoo! School's out!" The chameleon-like mixel then laughed, before getting slapped by Flamzer. "You mix-monkey! This is a really big problem!" He exclaimed, as Casey's phone then began to ring. The caller ID said that it was Amber, so she answered the phone. "Casey Almenera speaking." She said, as Amber then spoke. "Casey, wherever you are, look out the window. It might look small due to distance from where you are all the way to the Dockweiler State beach, but you and the others should still be able to see it from your location regardless." The eldest Roark sibling said, as Casey walked over to Kiyo's bedroom window. "See it? What are you talking abou- OH MY FREAKING GOD!" The mixels fangirl screamed, as what she saw outside was a giant green centaur-like Chinese dragon Digimon that would seem notable for its long arms with large forearms. It had yellow antlers with bonji on them, long, grey hair tied in a short ponytail and a long mustache. It wore a purple vest and leather tassets with fur lining on it, too.

 "Ambs, what the nix is that Chinese Godzilla?!" She shouted, as Angoramon took Amber's phone. "That's Majiramon, Casey. He's an ultimate-level, Data attribute, Holy dragon type Digimon that is also the envoy of the God of Wealth." Angoramon explained over the phone. "And I also saw the same email that you got from the school on Amber's phone about the white snake outbreak. According to some human beliefs, white snakes appear along the divine path. With such a large amount of them on Main Street, Majiramon is undoubtedly headed your way." Angoramon explained over the phone, as the eyes of both Jellymon and Teslo widened in both shock and realization. "Aw, zhnix..." The leader of the Electroids mumbled, as Flain looked over at the cycloptic Electroid. "Tes, what did you and Jellymon do?" The hot-headed leader of the Infernites asked, as Jellymon then sighed. 

"We may have gone and tried to give positive messages to those who have received the Virtual talismans to not only boost their fortuitous efforts, but also give them successful advice, but a certain Mixel got his staticky fingers on the keyboard and unintentionally disrupted the flow of digital money!" Jellymon calmly said before snapping at Volectro, who nervously laughed in response, While Kiyo listened in shock. "Flow of money?" He frightfully mumbled, while Angoramon shook his head. "This isn't good... Like I mentioned previously, Majiramon is the envoy of the god of wealth, therefore he is meant to preserve the flow of money. Those who stop or disrupt that flow will not be forgiven under any circumstances." Angoramon explained. "What do you mean, big guy?" Zorch asked him, as the rabbit sighed. "First, a giant tail will fall upon them. That's life-threatening enough as it is, but then... A powerful, blinding light will gather in the sky, and then 108 arrows of light will rain down to pierce the guilty party's body. That is a part of his special attack, Vedaka." Angoramon then explained, as Flamzer, who was trying not to show fear, looked over at Volectro.

 "So, your static shock accidentally reprogrammed Kiyo's virtual talismans into an illegal program that hacked the digital money system?" Flamzer asked the mixel with the frizzy hairdo. "Like you and Jellymon said, it was an accident! Plus, I was just trying to help...!" Volectro said nervously, while Jellymon just snickered. "But I gotta admit, Volectro's bluff gave me an idea when it happened. Therefore, I decided to tinker with the money fortune block and re-use it." She explained, as Casey glared at her. "So, you're not all that innocent, either!" Meltus said, as Jellymon laughed. "Let me put it like this to help you and the rest of your friends understand, Dino-boy. Ever since you Mixels and us Digimon came to the human world, you gotta admit that it's so much different compared to our homes! I should also add that, when Frizzles over here had his accident, it helped me see how interesting the money game and the greed it encouraged were!" She beamed, as Vulk just shook his head. "Even then, it's no excuse to do something this awful!" Vulk spoke up, as Henry nodded. "Yeah, you didn't have to stop it." He agreed, as Jellymon landed on the windowsill. "You and Pyro-Paws over there clearly don't seem to understand my own ideals, then, Hen-Hen." She smiled, as while the group of humans, Mixels, and Gammamon stared at her in confusion, she crossed her legs and arms and began to float upside-down. 

"When it comes down to anything that interests me, like the money game, for example, it's important to work hard and be the best in those fields, which means I have to learn the rules of how to play the game. And once I do learn the rules, I must absolutely play far better compared to any of the other participants who are playing the same game that I am!" She explained, as Kiyo's eyes widened. "I... I can actually understand what you mean." Kiyo nodded, as Henry, Flain, Flamzer, and Casey all stared at Kiyo, unamused. "You know, I think I have an idea." Flain said with a smile, as he grabbed Casey's phone, and sent a text to Amber that read, 'We can't let Majiramon up and destroy Santa Monica. Are there any open spaces Near Kiyo's house where we can fight back against him, and also have Kiyoshiro hide while he deletes the talismans?' to which Amber responded, 'When you say open space with places to hide, only one abandoned place comes to mind: Sand Dune Park! Luckily, it's not too far from Kiyoshiro's house. Be sure to meet me, Alya, and the others there. Together, we'll make our stand against Majiramon, help Kiyo out of this sticky situation, and protect our town!' Casey looked down at Flain, Gammamon, and the other Mixels with a smile.

 "Let's do this thing." She beamed, as Henry looked over to her. "Hermana, take Burnard and Meltus with you. Flamzer and I will stay here and help Kiyo, Teslo, Jellymon, and the other Frosticons delete the virtual talismans." He told his sister, who just smiled, as she headed to the front door with the 5 Infernites and Gammamon. "Déjanoslo a nosotros- Leave it to us, Hen! C'mon, Maya!" She called to the girl with glasses. "B-But I don't know how to fight..." She mumbled while walking over, as the Mixel fangirl rested a hand on her shoulder. "Trust me- With that Pendit, you've not only got to fight, but you also have a reason as to why you're fighting. You may not know what it is yet, but I want you believe me when I say you'll find that reason quicker than you think." Casey explained, as Maya nodded, understanding some of what she said. "I'll find that reason... Quicker than I think?" She repeated, as the Glass part of Maya's Pendit faintly glowed for a brief moment. "Either way, let's get going. Zaptor, Volectro, I'm counting on you. And Tes... Good luck, buddy." Maya said as the two Electrical Mixels walked over to her, and Teslo went over to Kiyo's side. "You got it, Maya. Besidez, I know you've got a plan! But if you need me, don't hezitate to give me a call!" The leader of the Electroids told her with a confident smile, as the two girls, Gammamon, and the 7 mixels set off for Sand Dune Park, but as soon as they left, Kiyo looked at Henry and Flamzer.

 "I'm going, too. Flurr, Slumbo, Lunk, C'mon." Kiyo told him, as while the Frosticons went over to him, Henry reached his hand out towards him. "But if you go, you're practically painting a target on your back!" Henry tried to explain, before Kiyo shook his head. "Even then, I can't let my younger cousin fight all my battles. What's more, I'm Angelwood Middle School's Class Representative. Even if the fault is on Jellymon and Volectro for changing my talismans into malware, I'm still to blame for creating the talismans in the first place. So, I want to help my little cousin, and protect all the students who attend Angelwood Middle school that might get hurt by Majiramon if he's coming for me, and Me alone!" Kiyo explained, as he ran out the door with the Frosticons, with Lunk slowly following behind the others, and Jellymon sneakily following them. "Lookz like it'z down to the three of uz." Teslo spoke up, as Henry nodded. "Yeah."

Soon, the group of 8 arrived at Sand Dune Park. "Got to admit- thiz place looks nice." Zaptor said while looking around the park for a few moments, as Amber, the Cragsters, Alya, and Angoramon ran over to them. "You guys ready?" Amber asked them. "Of course, Ambs. Besides, we got to buy the others time." Casey nodded, as both their Pendits slowly begun to glow as Majiramon drew near in the distance. "You who have disturbed the beautiful order of wealth, Show yourself!" The giant green dragon Digimon roared, as the symbols of the virtual Talismans appeared in multiple locations behind the group. "So those are the virtual talismans your cousin made, Maya?" Alya asked her, as she nodded. "Wait, who are those 3?" Maya asked as she squinted her eyes, seeing 3 familiar shapes flying near the head of Majiramon. 3 Shapes that Flain quickly took notice of. "Shnix, it's the Glowkies again!" He shouted. "Well, our Pendits are glowing. Ready to find a creative solution to help us beat the odds?" Amber asked Casey while both Gammamon and Angoramon both digivolved into Betel Gammamon and Symbare Angoramon respectively. As much as she didn't want to hurt the Glowkies (Which were her second favorite tribe, mind you), she knew that they weren't in their right minds thanks to being Nixed. "Yeah. Besides, chances are, if we can beat them, we can potentially un-nix the Glowkies!" Casey smiled, as the 2014 Infernites and Cragsters each began to glow and mix...

Well, at least two Mixes were formed. The first Mix mostly resembled Seismo, except that he had Vulk's cat-like ears, his hands, and bottom lip with Seismo's horns on each side of his head. He had Seismo's feet and legs, except he had red accents on his upper legs and has hints of red on his feet.

The second Mix seemed to mostly resembled Zorch. He had Zorch's body, arms, and legs. His head seemed very similar to Shuff's body, with Zorch's eyes on top. He had two red pieces on top as well, which resembles horns. His arms had two tapering grey pieces on them from Shuff's arms. His feet resembled Shuff's, albeit with some dark red in the front.

"Wait, what about Flain and Krader?" Amber asked, as Maya looked behind her, and saw a strange mixel. Which was really saying something, considering the fact that the strange mixel behind her was Flain and Krader mixed together, but... Something wasn't right. The pseudo-mix resembled Krader with two strange-looking eyes that neither Flain nor Krader have normally. He had Flain's beak with Krader's bucked teeth sticking out. The right side of his body has a hint of gold, while the other side had Flain's head prongs jutting out. He also had Krader's right arm as his left arm and Flain's arm as his right arm. His feet seemed to resemble Krader's feet with Flain's clawed toes.

"Um, they made a Murp.." Maya mumbled, as Amber, Alya, and Casey looked over at the Murp. The murped Krader and Flain just silently stared back at the kids and the rest of the Digimon and Mixels, and then he caught on fire, causing him to run around in circles, before finding a nearby lake, and diving into it, sinking to the bottom of the aforementioned lake. "So, we've got to fight a giant dragon, a whole mixel tribe, and all we have to do it with are 2 digivolved Digimon, 2 Mixes, two Electroids, and one Murp." Amber said nervously. "Casey? What are our chances of winning this...?" Alya asked the mixels fangirl, who sighed. "So deep in the negatives, it's below the fiery pits of heck. But even then, we can't simply just give up here!" She responded, as the Glowkies Flew towards the group, engaging the group of 6 mixels (2 of which being mixes, and only one being a Murp) and 2 Digimon in combat.

"108 arrows of light~!" Jellymon sang, as she followed Kiyo and the Frosticons as they ran down Main Street and avoiding the snakes to get to Sand Dune Park, twirling a bit as she floated in the air. "Piercing Kiyo's body all over~!" Kiyo flinched upon hearing Jellymon, as he began to walk instead of run. "That sounds like it'd really hurt..." He mumbled, as Jellymon just snuck up behind him, slowly resting a hand on his shoulder. "You shouldn't be so worried. There won't be anything left of you once he hits you with Vedaka. Besides, getting hit with an attack like that must lead to unimaginable pain. So painful, and agonizing, and..." She began, before Kiyo spoke up. "I still have to do it! Besides, not only do I want to restore the flow of money and be spared, but I also want to protect the people who attend Angelwood Middle school!" Kiyo said, his voice quivering, as Jellymon just glared at him. "Then just run away and go back home to Alaska!" She shouted, as Kiyo then turned to face her. "I can't do that! I'm the Class representative!" He shouted back at her, as Flurr, Jellymon, Lunk, and Slumbo all stared at him. "If Henry, Flamzer, and Teslo can't delete all the talismans in time, we'll need to think of something else..." Kiyo explained, his voice trembling, as he looked at the group of 4. "So please help me! I'm begging you!" He told the 4 of them, worried, as Flurr nodded.

 "Of course, we'll help you, Kiyo!" Flurr told him, as he perched himself onto his other shoulder. "Besides, we're your partners- ready to assist you through thick and thin!" Jellymon nodded, as she quickly flew on ahead. "Yeah, so quit crying about it! If you've got time to cry, use it to get a move on to help your cousin and your other friends, Shima!" Jellymon shouted from afar, as Kiyoshiro timidly nodded, and ran towards Sand Dune Park with the Frosticons, (Lunk of course, slowly trudging behind) Unaware that Teslo had snuck out of Kiyo's house, and was on his way to Sand Dune Park, to get rid of the last Talisman, which was, unbeknownst to some of our heroes, was in Casey's phone.

By the time the Group of 6 arrived, it was evident that things weren't going well in the slightest for Casey and the others (Save for Maya, the 2 Electroids, and the duo of Meltus and Burnard). Aside from the Murp that Flain and Krader formed prior that had now turned back into the two tribe leaders, Casey was being held at tooth-point by Vampos, Symbare Angoramon, Betel Gammamon, and the two Mixes having been stunned by Globert, and Boogly using his antennae to keep Amber and Alya still. "This is bad..." Maya mumbled. "This is really, really bad...!" She told herself, as she saw Kiyo and the others headed their way. "Think, Maya Kaminari... You need to protect your cousin...!" As Teslo got closer to her, Zaptor, and Volectro, Maya instantly thought back to what Kiyoshiro had asked her on their walk home from school.

"You're always seeking out knowledge about anything that really interests you, like the Hologram Ghosts. Plus, you never really show your emotions like other people. What I guess I'm trying to say is... What do you plan on doing after you learn all that there is to know about the Hologram Ghosts?"

Like she knew earlier, Maya had never taken what she'd do after she learned all that there was to know about the Hologram Ghosts. She had always figured that, once she learned all that there was to know about the Hologram Ghosts, she'd move onto the next thing that caught her interest. "Just because I'm scared on the inside, you better not think that I won't fight!" Maya shouted at the Glowkies and Majiramon, who, upon seeing Kiyo, the Frosticons, Teslo, and Jellymon behind her, slammed his tail down on them. However, a shield of electrical sparks surrounded the 9 of them, which came from Maya's Pendit. "All this time, I was uncertain of what I wanted to do with my knowledge of the Hologram Ghosts when I learned everything about them. At first, I figured it'd be best for me to find something new to learn about, but considering what's happening now, that'd only make me selfish!" She said, as her realization hit her like a truck. "I finally know why I'm fighting... I'm fighting to help protect others, and to also find my own perspective on what's True or Fake, and use the information I gain to help my friends!" She then shouted, as with those words being said, the interface on Kiyo's D-vigor lit up with yellow light, as the glass part of her Cubit pendant began to light up with yellow and light violet-colored light. In an instantaneous moment, the Electroids began to glow as well, as if something inside of them was responding to her resolve. The three came together in a yellow spiral of light, and ultimately formed a new creature.

At first glance, this new Max could be mistaken as a larger version of Volectro. The Max had a semi-rectangular body with two legs that seemingly resembled Volectro's legs. He has two arms that resembled Teslo's, and a huge tail with all of Volectro's electric fingertips at the tip. On his back, he has two spines, and has a huge head with a large mouth that has nine sharp teeth inside of it. He has two eyes that are surrounded by two yellow rings, and he also has Volectro's hair. Lastly, he had two ears on each side of his head, and two lightning bolts on the top as well. Maya stared at the Max in awe-struck amazement, as Kiyo smiled. "Maya, in a way, you're right. It's not over yet." Kiyo smiled, as a pink glow began to fill the meter of his D-Vigor. "But I know why I, Angelwood Middle School's Class Representative, Kiyoshiro 'Kiyo' Shima, chose to fight; To protect everyone who attends the school, and everyone in town! And now, it's time we both show Majiramon and those..." He stared at the Glowkies in confusion for a brief moment. "...Bioluminescent things, how we can Break the Limits!" He said with determination, as Jellymon began to glow with pink light, and stepped forward.

"Leave it to me, the blue guys, and the giant walking Bug zapper, you two! JELLYMON, DIGIVOLVE TO...!" Jellymon shouted, getting surrounded by swirling pink DNA helixes, which, like when Gammamon first digivolved into Betel Gammamon and when Angoramon first digivolved into Symbare Angoramon, went into her body, and formed an pink dome made of light, sparks emerging from it. But soon enough, the dome of light exploded, and from it, came not only more pink electrical sparks, but a more mature Jellymon, who shocked the Glowkies with her ribbons that were protruding from her back, causing them to retreat, as she then did a cutesy pose.

"TESLA JELLYMON!"

Casey looked over at the Max and the newly-digivolved Tesla Jellymon in both awe and Shock, as the stun that was inflicted on the others faded, and Amber and Alya looked over in amazement. "Woah... Go get him and burn away the dread, Kiyo and Maya...!" Casey cheered as she tossed her phone into the air, and while the two nodded, the yellow Max and Digimon ran towards her phone, which had the talisman symbol above it, and it was then that Kiyo saw a peculiar word flow into his mind.

[ボルスプライト.]

"VOLT SPRITE!" Kiyo shouted, as Tesla Jellymon electrified her body, jumped up, and then rammed into the final Talisman. However, it was still standing. "I'm gonna need a bit more juice to finish the job!" She shouted, as Majiramon was about to strike them down, before Slumbo quickly stepped forward, causing Kiyo to see another word.

[巨大な雪玉.]

"GIANT SNOWBALL!" Kiyo commanded, as Slumbo chucked a rather very large snowball at Majiramon's tail, which was partially frozen as is thanks to Slumbo's attack, but was still coming down fast, before Flurr swiftly flew up to Majiramon's tail, and Kiyo saw yet another word.

[ フロストブレス.]

"FROST BREATH!" Kiyo shouted, as Flurr quickly flew around Majiramon's tail in a spiral motion, freezing it solid with a cold blast of air, finishing off what Slumbo aimed to do. "Alright, Maya! You're up!" Kiyo told her, as she smirked. "Time for a bolt..." Maya began, as she clapped her hands, as she pointed at the Talisman. "A bolt of Brilliance!" She then shouted, and as the Electroids Max pointed his tail up at the talisman, she saw a word appear in her mind.

[ライトニング・レイ.]

"LIGHTNING RAY!" She shouted, as a large bolt of lightning shot out of Electroids Max's tail, until it hit the talisman, causing it to explode, and not a moment too soon, as Majiramon's tail broke out of its icy prison, and Tesla Jellymon turned back into Jellymon, and The Electroids max glowed with yellow light, before separating back into Teslo, Zaptor, and Volectro. "We did it..." Kiyo smiled, as Maya ran towards the yellow mixels, and embraced them in a hug while Casey caught her phone before it could even touch the sandy Ground.

 "We did it! We really, really did it!!" Maya happily cheered, as Kiyo stepped forward, and looked down at the ground. "I hold full responsibility for creating the virtual talismans that created this whole mess, Majiramon." He began. "Therefore, I sincerely apologize! I, Angelwood Middle School's Class Representative, Kiyoshiro Shima, solemnly swear to never do it again!" He apologized, as the giant dragon Digimon looked down at the boy, Volectro, and Jellymon with a small smile. "All has been set right. Very well!" He nodded, as Majiramon flew up into the sky. "Maya, Kiyo, way to go, Dudes!" Flain cheered her and her cousin on, as Maya smiled, looking up at the starry sky.

Soon, the whole group met up in front of Kiyo and Maya's house, Flamzer and Henry sitting on the curbside, as Kiyo just stared at his bandaged hand. "How'd I even get bailed out?" He asked himself, both eyes widened, as Jellymon smirked. "That's because me, the Frosticons, the Electroids, and your cousin did everything!" She smugly replied, her arms and tentacles crossed as she walked along a row of mailboxes. "By the way, Casey... Thanks. For everything." Kiyo then said with a smile, as he turned to face her, as she then shook her head. "No, thank you, Maya, the Frosticons, and the Electroids, Kiyo. If you all didn't show up, we would've been doomed, and the others would've been on a wild goose chase for the last talisman." She beamed, as Flamzer climbed into her backpack, and curled up inside it. "Speaking of, Tes, how'd you know the last talisman was programmed onto Case's phone?" Amber asked him, to which he chuckled and responded, "I zaw Kiyo hide a list of what devicez he programmed the talismans onto. Casey'z phone just zo happened to be on that list!" Angoramon then looked over at the group of chatting Mixels, Humans, and the duo of Gammamon and Jellymon, before he looked up at the Lepus constellation. "The dragon god follows blindly, and a lone jellyfish is accompanied by the elements of both Ice and Lightning. Therefore, an entire state remains unharmed." He recited his own haiku, as Jellymon glanced over at Kiyo, smiled, and said one thing, that caught the attention of Maya, resulting in the girl with glasses to know that maybe, just maybe, her cousin wasn't cursed after all-
