A Chance Meeting forges Betel's Fire! The Infernites and The White Triceratops!
'People say that a wish is a dream your heart makes, that much is a given.'
'... But how much would the world change when your wish does come true? At first, that's something even I didn't know. But when the world does change, there are some things that you can take back, but more often than not, there's things you can't take back, no matter how many times you try...'
A black dragon is staring down a horde of 27 Colorful giants, all of which were led by a few specific colorful giants- A pair of Fire Golems, an orange lobster with four legs, a yellow lion with 4 bolts of lightning above its eyes, 2 blue titans, a slimy green squirrel-like creature and dragonfly, a magical moth... Wasp... Dragon thing, and an Orange, Grey, and Black Bipedal Eastern dragon with a small red snake as its tongue. As these 28 creatures were having their standoff, clones of the dragon were eating away at small fragments of the world around them, leaving behind bits of a black void, the remains of the world seeming like broken glass, and slowly faded into small particles of light.
(A/N- Yes, it isn't exactly clear what the Wiztastics max is, I'm just going off what the Mixels Wiki says it's based on.)
"Look, I've been sayin' it for the past 1,000 years- You all can't beat the Nixel armada, let alone me. This world will be consumed and destroyed." The dragon snarled, blocking the incoming attacks of some of the colorful giants, even going as far as reflecting some of the attacks back at the ones who sent them at him, but far stronger. One of the red fire golems stood up, covered in scars and bruises, barely being able to remain stabilized. "Don't even try it, Infer-nots. You couldn't stop me earlier from evolving into this form."
"Even if we Mixels die here protecting this world... At least we'll have gone down doing the right thing...!" The Fire titan said, the flames on the sides of its head burning like a wildfire, making what looked like a Knight's helmet shaped from flames, as the clones of the dragon had almost finished devouring the whole world. The original dragon scoffed. "That so, huh? Fine. Nixelkind has won this war already as is." It scoffed, as a blackish-purple sphere of flame began to form in its mouth, which began to grow bigger and bigger. "Gran... TrES!"
The Black dragon then roared at the colorful giants, as it shot the sphere of flame that it had been charging up in its mouth at the fire titan. The bipedal Eastern dragon blocked the attack from hitting its compatriot, but it was all in vain. The colorful titans were destroyed, as was their world. All that remained was a black void, the dragon, and from the sidelines...
A singular human girl who had been watching the whole battle unfold, that is, before her vision went completely dark.
______________________________________________________________________________
"¡Casey, despierta (wake up)! The bus will be here shortly to take you to school! You don't want to be late for your first day, do you?" A voice called to a girl who was in her room, slowly waking up from a most peculiar dream. "I know, Mami (Mom)! I'll be ready in a minute!" The girl called to her mother downstairs, as she momentarily looked over at her collection of Lego mixel figures, all 81 of them, and sighed, and began to get ready for her first day at her new school. "Man, why do I keep having that dream with the maxes and that black dragon? That's like the 5th time this month!" This was Casey Almenera, a 13-year-old girl who was probably the biggest fan of mixels there ever was, and yet she wasn't exactly the bravest or the strongest 13-year-old girl there. But one strength she had going for her was her pure, kind heart that could reach out to even the cruelest of people. That, and her sense of creativity.
"I can only pray to god above that that stupid dream doesn't get in the way of me enjoying my first day of school..." She said to herself as she grabbed her backpack, slipped on some white sneakers with red accents on her feet, and clipped on her custom cubit keychain that she made with help from her Father and a cubit accessory that came with her Gurggle minifigure onto one of the backpack's Zippers. She then looked at her Flain figure with a smile. "Hopefully, I can try to make some friends, and have fun at school... But you know... I wish you and all the other Mixels were real..." She told the infernite mixel figurine, talking to it as if it were a real person, before her older brother walked out of his room.
"Hey, Case." Her brother, Henry Almenera, smiled as he began to walk her to the bus stop. "I know you're excited for your first day at your new Middle school, Sis. I'm hoping you have a good time." He said, having the red hoodie on his jacket up. "Thanks, Hen!" She said, as Henry saw her cubit keychain dangling from one of her backpack's zippers. "Just... Por favor, Hermana... Don't go all Mixels super-geek. I know we both watched the minisodes and specials when they were still on TV 10 years ago, and that I helped you build your huge collection of Lego mixels, but you've just got to understand... That was 10 years ago. Things need to change over time. Besides, you've got to at least try to act a bit more mature. What's more, in just a few years, you'll be an adult..." He sighed, as he rested a hand on his sister's shoulder, who just looked confused.
"Henry, look- I know that I'm going to be an adult soon, but that doesn't mean I can't cling onto what makes me feel like... Me." Casey said, as the bus pulled up in front of the house. "Listen to me, I can't guarantee that I won't go all Mixels Super-geek, but what I CAN guarantee, however, is that I'll have a great first day of school." Casey winked, as she pulled out her phone from her pocket. "Besides, Mami is even allowing me to bring my phone to watch some of the minisodes and specials during the bus ride to school! Honestly, I don't even know which I should watch first... 'Nixels' is one of the best original shorts from the first season, but when you start considering 'Every Knight Has Its Day' and its plot being relevant to me right now, I feel like it's the most sensible thing to watch!" She said, before noticing the unamused stare her older brother was giving her. "...Sorry." Henry just sighed, before smiling at his sister. "Just go get on the bus and go have the best first day of school possible." Casey then nodded, and as soon as the doors on the bus opened, Casey Climbed inside.
And once she got onboard, she sat down in the back, next to a girl with a black dress and skirt, grey hi-tops, a black headband with horns on the side, and a small golden necklace with a geode with gems of multiple colors on it. "You're the new kid who moved into town lately, huh?" The girl next to Casey asked her, who responded with a nod. "Yeah." Casey nodded, as she set her backpack down near her feet. "My Mom, brother and I moved here from Spain not too long ago, actually. My name's Casey; Casey Almenera." The girl sitting next to her then snapped her fingers, as if realizing something. "Wait a minute- Almenera? As in Carlos Almenera, the world-renowned Scientist?! YOU'RE HIS DAUGHTER!?" The girl shouted in awe and shock, earning looks from an assortment of other kids and the bus driver. The girl then cleared her throat, as to draw attention away from herself after her excitable outburst. "Yeah, Carlos is my dad. Though a few months ago, he disappeared without a trace. The only thing Mom could find when she went into his lab was this weird smartwatch." Casey said, as she rolled up her right sleeve, revealing a navy-blue smartwatch with a weird emblem on it consisting of 3 'v's above the screen.
"Yeah, that doesn't exactly look like any smartwatch I've seen before." The girl nodded. "Oh, right! I haven't exactly introduced myself! My name's Amber Roark! Nice to meet you, Casey!" Looking Amber from head to toe, Casey realized something. "Hey, Amber? Not to sound weird or nothing, but your outfit would make for an amazing cosplay of Seismo!" She smiled. Amber confusedly stared at Casey for a moment, before realizing what she meant. "Seismo? As in, the Cragster with the big feet from the first season of Mixels?" The girl in black and grey asked. "Yeah!" Casey nodded, as the bus pulled up in front of the school.
"Well, here we are; Welcome to Angelwood Middle School, Casey. There's a lot of places to explore here, but just be wary of what's around you when you're someplace where it's dark on campus." Amber told Casey as they got off the bus, and walked into the building. "Why?" The Mixels superfan asked her new friend, confused.

"Late last night, there have been rumors of a trio of will-o-wisps wandering around town, and even a small little, yellow-eyed dinosaur flying in the sky near campus. Nobody knows exactly what they are, but I have one theory that I came up with some help from my other friend, Maya Kaminari, that may as well figure out what the will-o-wisps and dinosaur are. See, you may not know on account of you and your family moving here to Santa Monica recently, but this city's the hologram capital of the U.S.A. So, there's no doubt in my mind that the true forms of the will-o-wisps and the dinosaur are Hologram Ghosts!" Amber smiled. "Hologram... Ghosts?" "Yeah! Here, hand me your phone for a second!" Casey nodded, as she handed the girl who could arguably be mistaken for a human version of a certain Cragster mixel, put in a few keywords on her phone's search engine, opened up a digital newsletter, and handed the phone back to Casey, and she then read the article. "'Here is the deal'," Casey began. "'Many Hologram Ghosts have been spotted in countless places all around Santa Monica at night for the past week. They are a glitchy paranormal phenomenon, but differ greatly from normal ghosts. Last night had a case that involved...'" "From the school's blog, the Phantom's Den, it was some author of a book called Wonder story. I think his name was Touma Kamiyama, and that he encountered the Sewn-Lip Man, and these black and white anthropomorphic mice..?" Amber told her. Casey just shook her head. "But this makes no sense! The editor is saying that this 'Touma' guy died. Nobody would be able to talk about a rumor like this if the one who experienced it firsthand died!" It just didn't make a lick of sense to her. "Even then, Touma heard a voice from the darkness ask him- 'What time is it now?'" Amber explained, as a boy with silvery-white hair, dark blue eyes, a navy blue vest, a red necktie, a white buttoned shirt, black jeans, brown shoes, and a bandaged right arm walked over to them, checking his phone.

"It's currently 7:45." He told them. "And I take it you're the new student here at Angelwood Middle School, right?" He then asked, as he turned to face Casey. "Y-Yeah. I'm Casey Almenera. And yes, I'm related to Carlos Almernera, I'm his daughter." She introduced herself and got the obvious fact out of the way, hoping to avoid what happened earlier on the bus when she introduced herself to Amber. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Casey. I am Kiyoshiro Shima, but everyone calls me Kiyo for short. If there is one thing you absolutely MUST Know about me, is that I am Angelwood's Class representative. You better not break any of the rules at this school, am I clear?" Kiyo asked her, as she nervously nodded in response.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After School that day, Casey decided to head out to do some shopping to get herself some Dinner, since her mom had a job helping patients at a clinic close to the house, and Henry was at home taking a nap. She noticed that it was dark out as soon as she came out from the store. "Man, I shouldn't have been so indecisive when it came to picking out something to eat.. It's probably 7 or 8 Pm- Wait, didn't Amber say that Santa Monica was dangerous at night with the occurrences of the Hologram Ghosts?" Casey asked herself, as she saw small glowing yellow eyes in the distance. Her gullible mind thought it was just a bunch of stray cats. She got down on one of her knees, and then opened one of the few bags of food that she got, holding out some salmon skin in a small metal can. "I don't have enough for all of you, so be sure to share it amongst yourselves, ok?" Casey gently asked the glowing eyes. She expected one of them to respond with either a meow, or even a purr. She heard neither, let alone a hiss, which would be normal from cats that didn't do all that greatly with humans. What she actually heard, however, was something much, MUCH worse.
"Nix, Nix!" Upon hearing those two words, Casey dropped the can of salmon skin, her eyes widened. "No way. There's no way that it's actually what I think it is... Right...?" she asked herself. She pulled out her phone, and then activated its flashlight function. The source of the glowing yellow eyes was none other than a small horde of small black and white creatures- A small horde of small black and white creatures that Casey knew all too well thanks to her knowledge of the mixels franchise;
"N-Nixels?!?" She shouted, startled, as she fell down, and the Nixels got closer to her, and one of them got close up in her face, saying the one thing Nixels could say; "NIX!"
"Just what's going on?!" Casey asked herself, as she fumbled back up on her feet, trying to escape from the Nixels, as she ran through the darkened streets of Santa Monica. "C'mon, Case, think! You can outwit these little guys, just like a Mixel would! You just need to find someplace where you can give 'em the slip...!" She told herself, as she saw an alleyway. "Perfecta!" She snapped her fingers, as she hid in the alleyway, as the Nixels passed it by, thinking that the Mixels Fangirl was still running away in front of them. "That was a close call.." Casey sighed, as she felt some things fall onto her head, spooking her, as she then looked down at her feet, seeing what looked like 2 USB chips; one light blue, and the other pale yellow. But there was another item that caught her interest. A Necklace with a red and scarlet cubit as a Pendant, with a small glass circle in the center of it. "A.. A couple of USBs, and a cubit pendant...?" She asked herself, as she put on the Cubit pendant, which enveloped her body with a red glow, which quickly faded away just as soon as it had appeared. "Weird... That glow felt... Warm, like a hug of some sorts." She said, as she then saw what looked like a black and purple bipedal cat wearing a dark green cap and puffy jacket, and a red backpack on its back, sitting on top of a dumpster.
"Oh, great Maximum Mixel, please tell me you aren't with the Nixels..!" Casey asked the cat-like creature, still spooked after what had happened. The cat just moved its paws up and down in a small motion, as if trying to tell her to try and relax a bit. Casey then took a deep breath, and exhaled. "You're right. I've just got to calm down. I won't be able to carry myself through this whole ordeal while being completely frazzled." The cat then pointed to a small space behind the dumpster he was standing on top of, which glowed faintly, before hopping from wall to wall, before vanishing from atop the buildings that made up the alleyway.

"What the...?" Casey said to herself, noticing the reddish-orange glow. Finding a small handle on the side of the dumpster, she pushed it out of the way to help her see the source of the reddish-orange glow, revealing 4 creatures. One of which looked like a white, bipedal triceratops with yellow eyes, a torn up blue bandanna around its neck, and black horns on its face, and black spikes on his back, as well as a bit of black on the tip of its tail.
The other 3 creatures with the triceratopsian creature, however, were rather... Peculiar, to say the least, and at least one of them was the source of the reddish-orange glow. The first one of the three of them had a rounded head with an eye on each side. On top of its head were three prongs; the outer two are dark red with the middle prong being red with a darker red prong on the top of it. It seemed to look like the creature's head housed a yellow-orange fire that is constantly burning. It also had a beak to make this peculiar creature look like a bird. It had a body that widened at the end with a black collar-like piece on its neck. It had two slender arms with pincer hands, and on its wrists were dark red triangle-like covered what looked like a taper down. It had grey legs with red feet that have two white claws on each, and a rectangular hatch on its rear.
The second creature, like the first one, was mostly red, and had a small head with well-defined lips that have three fangs pointing upwards. It had a stocky-looking body that seemed to taper downwards. This one, unlike the bird-like creature, appeared to be cycloptic, having a single eye. On top of its head were two black cat-like ears. Its arms appeared to be light grey and fairly long, with dark grey hands with three burning orange fingers on each and two dark red slopes on top of each. Its legs, in contrast to its arms, were dark grey and fairly short, with tall red feet with two dark red toes on each foot.
The third and final red creature wasn't a regular shade of red, but rather mostly dark red, or Crimson, as one could put it. It had a small head with a well-defined lip with three teeth sticking upward from it, two large eyes on either side of its head, with two thick disembodied eyebrows floating off of them. It has a tapering red neck line that connects to a widening dark red body. It has slender red arms with red pincer hands. Its legs are long and red with light grey cuffs on his ankles, and light red feet with a dark red rectangular toe on each. Its back is red and has jet boosters that are often shooting out bursts of flames.
"Woah! ¡¿Qué diablos eres?!" Casey shouted in Spanish, getting startled by the creatures. The 3 red creatures Stared at her in confusion, as the triceratopsian creature got up on its feet, and scrambled in front of her. "Ohh~! You're Casey Almenera!" It smiled, jumping for joy a small bit. The red creature with the flaming head walked over to the side of the triceratopsian creature. "Take it easy, dudette. We aren't going to hurt you, I promise you. My name's-" it calmly began, before Casey gasped, realizing who he, and the other 2 red creatures were. "Flain, Vulk and Zorch; the Infernites! Wait, then who the heck is the triceratops baby? He's too little and too cute to be a Mixeloptor, and he doesn't seem to be either an albino infernite or Cragster.." The triceratopsian creature let out a small, sweet giggle, before raising its arms. "I'm Gammamon!" The triceratopsian creature, now known as Gammamon, cheered, his tail wagging from side to side.
"So, what exactly are you guys doing here in this alleyway?" Casey asked the quartet, confused. The cat-eared Infernite, Vulk, stepped forward to talk to her. "W-Well, it was raining a while earlier, and we needed to find some shelter..." He softly stuttered. "Heh, well it seems we all were trying to escape from something." Casey laughed to herself a bit, earning a look of confusion from Gammamon. "What were you trying to escape from, Casey?" He asked, tilting his head, before a loud 'NIX, NIX!' was heard from afar. "Nixels?" Zorch, the crimson infernite, asked Casey, who looked down at the ground. "Nixels." She answered. "Even though I ran from them, I can't just let them go free. What if they hurt someone, or worse?" Casey slowly began to panic, which worried Gammamon. "Casey..." Flain smirked, went up to Casey, and rested a pincer hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry, Casey, my humano compadre. We'll help you out." Casey smiled, as she got up on her feet, but then looked at Flain, curious. "Wait, you speak Spanish?" The leader of the infernites then shrugged. "A little. Now, c'mon, dudes and dudette! Let's go find those Nixels, and take 'em down!" He said with a smile, as he left the Alleyway with Vulk, Zorch, and Casey following him. Flain looked over at Gammamon. "Gammamon, are you coming, amigo?" He asked. Gammamon nodded. "Yeah, Flain!" And as he said that sentence, two of the spikes on his back poked outwards a small bit and folded outward into wings, as he flew over to the group. "Well, wha'ddya know? I never knew you could fly, Gamms!" Zorch told the little dinosaur, who just smiled in response, and flew into Casey's arms for her to hold him. "I think that's the Nixel horde that was chasing me over there!" Casey whisper-yelled, pointing at the Nixels that were chasing her, and were now targeting the last person she expected.
(END OST)
"Someone help me!" Amber screamed, standing on the edge of a fountain, whilst the horde of Nixels surrounded it, trying to get to her, while Amber kicked them away from her. "Amber!" Casey called to her, still carrying Gammamon in her arms, and the Infernites by her side. The Nixels all saw the group of 5, and instantly recognized Casey, and went for her. "Oh, no ya don't!" Flain shouted, shooting a volley of fireballs from his fiery head at some of the Nixels, knocking them back. "Thanks, Flain." Casey smiled, as Flain winked back, before seeing a strange sort of Nixel among the group, one that was a bit bigger compared to regular Nixels, and had a black wrestling belt on it, to boot.
"Aw, Shnix! Not a Muscle Nixel!" Flain said, growing a bit concerned. "Ok, we're definitely going to need a Cubit.." Casey said, as Gammamon slipped out of her arms. "Gammamon, wait! You can't fight them by yourself!" But it was too late- Gammamon was running towards the muscle Nixel, holding no regard for everyone else's words, not even Casey. "You Nixels give off bad vibes!" Gammamon growled, smacking away the smaller Nixels that were beginning to surround him with his claws and tail, before facing the Muscle Nixel in the eyes, and roared 6 words:
"YOU'RE GONNA MAKE ME GO KABOOM!" He shouted, as from behind him, a faint silhouette of white light formed a dragon with small accents of red and cyan traced across his body, until the Nixels that Flain attacked earlier surrounded him, and kept his body suspended. "C-Casey...! Flain.. Vulk.. Zorch... Amber...!" he called to each of them, worried.
Concerned for her new Dinosaur friend, Casey grabbed a nearby twig, and swatted Nixel after Nixel away from Gammamon. "LEAVE HIM ALONE!" She shouted, as her smartwatch had suddenly begun to light up with a strange interface.
"Huh...?" Casey looked down at the smartwatch on her wrist. Did it just turn on by itself? She then looked at Gammamon, who was slowly starting to wriggle free from the grasp of the Nixels' grasp, and the more he did, a yellow light slowly began to fill the circular gauge on the screen of the smartwatch. "That little guy's really going at it...!" Amber told herself. Gammamon growled a small bit, before doing a little monologue, his eyes widening with what he had now realized. "Santa Monica is really big... And I don't understand how things work here... But I want to learn these things, and also figure out who and what I am... And I'm not gonna do it all alone anymore! Before, it was only me, but now I have Zorch... I have Vulk... I have Flain... And I... Have Casey with me now, too!" Gammamon shouted, as his body began to glow with a bright red light, which pushed the remaining Nixels off of him, and the gauge on Casey's smartwatch went from a white circle to a yellow circle, and what happened in the span of the next few seconds was something that had amazed her, Amber, and the three Infernite Mixels.
(Cue 'First Riders' by Yoshimasa Masukura, start 16 seconds in)

"GAMMAMON, DIGIVOLVE TO...!" Gammamon shouted, as he was covered up by red DNA helixes, which absorbed into his body, and formed a dome of light around him. The Nixels charged at the dome, but they were quickly knocked into the water within the fountain when that dome of light exploded, and scattered flames everywhere, revealing something- Or rather, Someone new.
The infernites stared at the red triceratopsian creature in what was arguably the perfect mix of shock and awe. In all the time they've been with Gammamon, he had NEVER changed this drastically! Amber and Casey were both amazed at this development. "Digi...Volve?" Casey and Amber both said, puzzled, as Betel Gammamon got up on his feet, and looked at Casey, as if he were saying 'Thanks' to her, but of course, without actually saying it. He then looked at Flain. "Leave the big guy to me, Flain! You, Vulk and Zorch handle the smaller Nixels!" Betel said, as his fists were then covered in red and orange flames and dashed towards the Muscle Nixel.
Flain nodded, as he turned to face Vulk and Zorch. "You heard him, dudes! It's time to get Mixel!" Vulk and Zorch nodded in response to their tribe leader's remark, and ultimately split up to take on each group of Nixels, all while Casey looked over to Amber. "Leave this to us. We'll protect you, Ambs. I promise you!" Casey told her new friend, a determined and courageous smile growing on her face. Amber nodded, a smile on her face, as she stepped back, and watched the fight between Casey, Gammamon, and the fiery Infernites.
Zorch was running circles around a small group of Nixels- Quite literally. "Alright, Nixels, let's see how ya like this!" Zorch said, as he stretched his legs a bit, and then took up a stance signifying he was about to run as fast as Casey knew he was able to do. That was when she saw two words- Two words, that only she could see, and, despite being in a language that she couldn't understand, but still somehow knew what they meant.
[ブレイジングブラー.]
"BLAZING BLUR!" She shouted, as Zorch did his signature laugh (A/N- Go watch coconapple, the first mixels minisode ever made. you'll see what I mean by signature laugh.), and ultimately left behind a streak of fire in his wake. The Nixels, stupid enough to try and chase after the speedy infernite, got burnt by the streak of flame, and were defeated.
Vulk was next, unfortunately getting surrounded by Nixels, but he had a bit of an idea. He held his hands out, about to do something, and it was then that Casey saw another word only she could see.
[カブラモ.]
"KABLAMMO!" She shouted again, as Vulk clapped his hands together, which created an explosion, which knocked the Nixels that were swarming him into the streak of flame from Zorch's prior attack.
Then, it was down to Flain, who was back-to-back with Betel Gammamon, who, in turn for the triceratopsian creature helping him fight the smaller Nixels due to there not being much left, the literal hothead helped his red triceratops friend fight the Muscle Nixel. "Ya might wanna step back a bit, Betel, my Dinosaurian compadre. Things are about to get Muy Caliente in Santa Monica!" He smirked, as Betel Gammamon nodded, and jumped up onto a nearby tree branch, and Flain began charging up a sphere of magma, which caused Casey to see another word.
[モルテンモルタル.]
"MOLTEN MORTAR!" The Mixel fangirl shouted, as Flain did a dodge roll to avoid an incoming attack from the Muscle Nixel, and he shot a giant fireball that exploded around the area where the Muscle Nixel and the regular Nixels were, knocking out the normal Nixels, but weakening the Muscle Nixel enough for Betel Gammamon to finish it off. "Alright, Betel, You're up, man!" Betel Gammamon nodded, as he jumped down from the tree branch. "Yeah. Leave it to me to turn up the heat, Flain!" Betel smirked, as a new word was seen by Casey.
[ソルショット.]
"SOL SHOT!" She shouted, as Betel Gammamon leaped over the Muscle Nixel, and shot countless flames at it, causing it to burn up to a crisp. All the Nixels were beaten, and the Infernites and Betel Gammamon were victorious. Suddenly, Betel glowed red again, and reverted back into Gammamon.
(End Song)
"Gammamon changed back...!" Amber mumbled to herself, as Gammamon looked over to the Infernites. "You guys felt that rush earlier, right?" Gammamon asked them, and Flain nodded. "Yeah, we felt power come from you, Casey." He told her, earning a look of confusion and curiosity from the girl. "Power? From me? Y-You're kidding, right? I-I'm not a fighter!" Zorch just snickered at her response. "I may be fast, Case, but trust me- None of us know how it happened either. We're new to this place and how everything works, too." Casey smiled. "Well, I know that I wanted to save Amber from the Nixels... Maybe that's the power you guys felt?" She then guessed, before she realized something. "Snap, Mom's gonna be home any minute! I need to hurry back home before she gets back!" Casey then shouted, as she ran home, too caught up in her rush to get home before her mom to even realize that Flain, Vulk, Zorch, and Gammamon followed her. Amber wanted to say something, watching them follow her, but knew she'd figure it out one way or another.
From atop a singular building, the black cat from before had watched the battle that the infernites and Betel Gammamon had won against the Nixels, before it looked to its left. A cloaked silhouette was sitting down next to the cat, and it was revealed they had a cubit pendant similar to Casey's around their neck, but this one had orange and black on it, in contrast to Casey's being red and crimson.
"You did good picking her as the Chosen One for the Infernites, Uver. We just need 23 more..." She said, as she hopped down from the building's rooftop with utmost grace and agility, almost as if she were some sort of Gymnast. "I promise, Mysto-Sensei, I will do whatever it takes to make sure that history doesn't repeat itself... For the sake of all Mixelkind, and possibly every single galaxy in the cosmos." She then said, as she looked at Gammamon, as he flew into Casey's arms.
___________________________________________________________
"Wait." Casey said to herself, as she was soon standing right outside her house, and looked down to see Gammamon in her arms, and Flain, Vulk, and Zorch behind her. "What th- ¿Por qué me siguen ustedes cuatro?" She asked, confused, before she realized why. "Right... Because taking up residence behind a dumpster isn't exactly good enough. Besides, you guys might be hungry. Just... If you're going to stay with me, there's going to be a few rules that you're all going to have to live by. Rule number 1- When my brother Henry and my mom are around, you are to stay in my room, which leads up to Rule number 2- Don't let my brother, Henry, or my mom, see any of you, let alone anyone that isn't me or Amber. And Rule number 3- No leaving the house without my permission. And finally, Rule number 4- When you do leave the house, be sure to have a disguise. The last thing we want is you guys being mistaken for Hologram Ghosts and bring a bit more panic and chaos to the streets of Santa Monica compared to the Nixels, right?" The infernites and Gammamon shook their heads. "Exactly. Now come on." She said, holding the door open for the 3 mixels, and walked in once they did, since she was still holding Gammamon in her arms. She then looked at the Smartwatch on her wrist that her dad had left behind, as well as her Cubit Pendant around her neck.
"Dad..." She asked herself, as if her dad, Carlos Almenera, was in the house with her as she went into her bedroom and rested herself down on her bed and stared at her new Amulet and whilst the Infernites and Gammamon began to explore their new living quarters. "... Just what in the world has just begun?"
