Steven had just finished telling the Crystal Gems and Connie about Blair with an excited smile.

Steven: Not only did she looked completely human, she had a black gem on the back of her hand! Might could be a hybrid like me!

Pearl: But that doesn't make any sense... I don't- Wait, black gem... Garnet, Bismuth, you don't think...

Garnet: She has been missing for years....

Bismuth: Possibly...

Steven, Connie, and Amethyst shared a confused expression.

Bismuth: Steven, did this " Blair " 's gem look like a pearl and was it on her right hand?

Steven: Now, come to think of it... Yes. To both. How did you...

Pearl, Garnet, and Bismuth shared a look.

Pearl: There's one thing to confirm it. Steven...did she steal anything from you?

Steven: What no- ( checks his pockets and noticed that his wallet was gone ) Did she take my wallet?!

Garnet: Yep. That's Lela's kid...

Amethyst: Who's " Lela "?

Connie: Was she a part of the Crystal Gems?

Steven: And how come you didn't mention her before?

Pearl: ( sadly: ) Because.... She disappeared on the battlefield many years ago... We'd looked everywhere for her, but nothing, not her gem, not her daggers, even a trace.

Garnet: Lela was originally an Off-colored Pearl from Homeworld... She changed her name once she joined the rebellion and learned about humans..

Bismuth: She was one of our most skilled gems in the rebellion...and she would tend to have a habit of stealing from others.

Pearl: I had lost count how many times she stole my spear.

Garnet: She was not only a skilled warrior, she was a dear friend...and she was sorta like Amethyst. The day she disappeared... It was hard for all of us...

Connie: So... The girl Steven met yesterday could be her kid?

Steven: I just found another gem hybrid... And she stole my wallet.

( A few minutes later, with Blair )

Blair was walking through Beach City's boardwalk, when she stopped when she saw a pink lion behind in the corner of her eye.

Blair: ( silently: ) What the gem?

Blair then pulled out a pair of black daggers from her gem, and when the lion got to close to her, she pointed them at the lion, making Lion stopped in front of her, a few inches away from her.

Blair then sees Steven on the back of the pink lion, and she scoffs at Steven.

Blair: You again, pink jacket?

Steven: It's Steven. And sorry for scaring you... Can you put the daggers away...?

Blair rolls her eyes before she lowers her daggers.

Blair: ( to Steven: ) What do you want?

Steven: First things first... Can you give me my wallet back...?

Blair: ( laughs ) Did you just realize that I took it? Here. ( Pulls Steven's wallet out of her pocket and tosses it back to him ) Now, why did you follow me? I thought I made it clear when I left you behind after you showed me the way to that Big Donut place, that you annoy me.

Steven: Okay...

Steven and Connie get off of Lion's back, and Steven looks at Blair with a friendly smile, Blair was giving him an annoyed look.

Steven: You're half gem aren't you?

Blair: ( a bit annoyed ) Ain't that obvious, Pink jacket? ( Shows her gem ) Last I've checked normal humans don't have gems, and Homeworld gems don't look like humans. Why? Have a problem with it, punk?

Steven: No, no. It's because...

Steven shows his gem, Blair's eyes widened in shock.

Steven: I'm half gem too.

Blair looks at Steven's gem, before she realized what kind of gem it was, making her give Steven a cold glare.

Blair: ( coldly, to Steven: ) Stay the heck away from me, Diamond! I ain't going to be some obedient mindless gem.

Steven: No! I'm not trying to-

Blair: Spare me your lies, Diamond punk! I may be a pearl, but I will still kick your-

??? ( Amy ): Bwa mama!

Blair turned around and saw Amy crawling to her and the rest of the group were running after the baby, Steven's eyes widened at what he was seeing, he saw the gem on Jasmine's shoulder.

Blair: Guys! Stay back! Amy, go back to the others.

Jasmine: Why? What's going on?

Oliver: ( looks at Steven with a raised brow ) Who's he?

Blair: A Diamond! Let's beat it!

Blair then pulls out a small smoke ball and throws it on the ground. Steven coughs and when the smoke clears, he sees the group except for the boy with cyan patches, were gone.

Ocean: ( to Steven: ) Are you really a Diamond? You look human.

Steven: Y-Yeah. Sorta, I'm a gem hybrid-

Ocean: Really? You're like us?

Steven: Wait, are you...

Ocean turns around and shows Steven his gem, before he looks at Steven with curiosity while Steven had a huge smile on his face.

Steven: You're like me! Wait, are-

Ocean: Yep. I'm Ocean, a Mixed Gem, like you. The others are Blair, Jasmine, Oliver, and Amy. They're also Mixed Gems or Hybrids people prefer to call us.

Steven: That's amazing! I'm not the only one! I'm not the only gem hybrid! I'm Steven.

Ocean: Sorry about Blair. She doesn't really like anything that has to do with Homeworld, that includes the Diamonds... And people that wear socks with sandals.

Steven: Oh, it's okay. ( Honestly: ) I totally get it, well the last part is a bit weird.

Ocean: Yeah... That's Blair for you, she a bit weird, in a good way. I should be going...but if you want, you can meet me on the beach when the sun sets, I like watching it go down.

Steven: Yeah! I would love to!

( With the Mixed Gems, in the van )

Amy was asleep in Jasmine's arms as the three teen Mixed Gems were talking.

Blair: I can't believe a diamond found us!!  We need to leave before he sends his soldiers after us to shatter us!!

Jasmine: We can't. We just got here, and we need time to plan where to go and prepare for the trip.

Oliver: Wait, where's Ocean?!

Ocean flies to them, and calmly goes in the van.

Ocean: Hi, guys.

Blair: Where were you? And why didn't you run away from that diamond with us?

Ocean: I was talking to Steven, he's a Mixed Gem like us and he doesn't seem to be like the diamonds Blair's mom wrote about in her journal.

Blair: Because that him being friendly and nice is just an act! You can't trust a diamond. They're evil, planet destroying dictators.

Ocean frowns as he didn't fully understand why Blair or Blair's mom didn't like the diamonds, but he decided that it's best not to push her.

Ocean: Okay.... I'm sorry, Blair. I just.... Wanted to know if he was like me, you know...a water gem...

Blair and the two teen Mixed Gems looked at Ocean with understanding, Blair sighs and pulled Ocean into a hug.

Blair: No... I'm sorry... I shouldn't have snapped at you... I just... I don't want to risk losing any of you to the gems that my mother and her friends fought... Homeworld has done so many bad things to imperfect gems like us... I don't want to risk them shattering you...

Ocean: ( Hugs Blair back ) It's okay, you won't...

( Slight Time Skip, near Sun Set )

Ocean flew to the beach, and sat down to wait for Steven.

Ocean: ( thoughts: ) I know Blair says that Diamonds are bad, but Hybrids stick together. And Steven's a hybrid like us!
