Akari's POV
"I'm sorry to say but I can't do it. Clubs are not my thing," Aoi-sensei said with an apologetic smile. "Now, please excuse me. I have to attend the teachers' meeting." She stood up from her seat and left the office.
Since Aoi-sensei is the only one that haven't advise any clubs yet, Natsumi, Mari, and I decided to ask her to advise our club.
"Ehh?! No way!!" Natsumi wailed. "What're we going to do now? We already gathered members."
"I guess.....the club have no choice but to disband," Mari said with her head hanging down.

Two hours earlier, during music class.
Mari and I entered the music room along with the other classmates. Aoi-sensei once again greeted us with a grin. Mari and I looked at each other. We had to ask Aoi-sensei to advise our club, but we didn't know where we should start from.
Then I noticed the paintings on the wall, there were even some crafts placed on the shelves and some hanged on the ceiling. Wow, she just got here yesterday but she decorated her room so quickly.
"Hey Mari, I think sensei likes arts. I mean, just look at this room. People would guess that this is an art room if it weren't for the instruments," I whispered to Mari.
"That's what I was just thinking!" Mari exclaimed. "Should we ask her?"
I nodded. As everyone else was settling down for class, Mari and I approached Aoi-sensei. "Sensei, I realized that this room is decorated with lots of art, do you like doing crafts, paintings and such?"
"Hmm...you could say it's my hobby? I either play my instruments, craft, paint, or draw whenever I'm free."
"Don't tell everything in this room is made by you?"
"Ahahaha, yeah.."
"You must like art a lot then!!!" Mari's hope raised.
"W-Well, it's just something I tend to do?" Mari smiled at me. "Anyways class it about to start soon, everyone take place."
"Okay~" everyone said in unison.

*Back to the present*
"Guys...thanks for helping me out. I knew this was going to be pointless...but I really thought it was gonna work when we got more members. We just have to giv--" Mari forced a smile.
"NO!! Don't say that!! It's too early to give up!" Natsumi interrupted her.
"But Aoi-sensei just refused--"
"We'll try again then!" Natsumi said, "If she refuse again, then we'll ask her again. We'll keep asking her until she agrees."
"N-Natsumi.....that's a bit too..." I started. Annoying Aoi-sensei would only give her more reason to decline us.
"Too what?" Natsumi asked. Of course, Natsumi is really dense that she wouldn't figure out that it wouldn't go as she had planned. "But it's worth a shot, right?" she chuckled. I sighed in defeat; once Natsumi have made up her mind, it hard for her to change her decision. Seems like Mari think so, too. So we decided to give it a try.

While the three of us were on the way to the rooftop, we came across Aoi-sensei. She was carrying a tall pile of books and it looks like she needed help. Natsumi decided that this was the chance and she took it.
"Ah! Sensei, let me help you," Natsumi approached her and took a couple books. Then she gave me and Mari a signaling us to help her too.
"Is this about advising you club again? If so, then my mind won't change," Aoi-sensei sighed.
"N-No, of course not!" Natsumi laughed nervously as she scratches her head.
"Right, w-we'll help you too," Mari and I also took several books and helped sensei out.
"Well then, sure," Aoi-sensei agreed and we carried the books to the teacher's office. "You can place them here," she pointed on her desk. "Becoming a new teacher is hard, I have a lot to catch up on." She laughed. We laughed with her as well, intentionally, of course.
"S-Sensei, can't you rethink about becoming our club's faculty advisor?" Mari said.
"I knew it, it was about this again right?" She sighed. "I said it right? A no is a no."
The three of us hung our head low and apologized. "Sorry..."
"Now that you know, you may leave," she said, for a moment it sounded like she was a different person.
With that, our second time asking her didn't work.

We were about give up but we decided to try again for the last time the next day. Music class was over and everyone exited the classroom. While, Mari and I stayed after class. Aoi-sensei was about to leave the room.
"Sensei!" Mari called.
Aoi-sensei sighed, and I swear I heard her say, "Not this again..." under her breath.
"Please reconsider about advising our club. We promise we won't cause you any trouble," Mari bowed. "I-I really don't want this club to get disbanded....I've made many memories with my senpais there."
"Look, I seriously don't care what happens to your club nor your memories with it. I just don't want to do it okay? It's too much trouble. Geez how many times are you going to keep asking?" Suddenly, sensei's attitude changed she crossed her arms and leaned on the piano. It's as if she have become a whole new person. Our eyes widened by surprised. "What? Shocked? Well this is my true self. Can you bare having a faculty advisor like this? I'm not kind at all like you all think. I'm actually very mean," she licked her lips and put on a smirk.
Mari shook off what she just witnessed and didn't gave it. "Yes, we don't mind at all." It looks as if Aoi-sensei was taken back.
"H-Huh? E-Even so, my decision won't change."
"Why not? You don't have to do much. Faculty advisor is just a title, You just have to help us with this and that," I decided to talk too.
"Yeah that's exactly why. Helping you guys with this and that! It's a bother! I JUST DON'T WANT TO DO IT OKAY?" she shouted. Just then the music room's door burst open. All three of our attention turned to the door.
"Hmm? Elephant girl? Mari-chan? Are you guys okay? We heard a loud voice earlier..." it was Ken and behind him were his two friends.
"Ah... Ken-kun. We're fine...we're just asking Aoi-sensei here to be our faculty advisor..." Mari explained.
"Did she say she'll do it?" Ryouta popped out his head from behind Ken's shoulder.
Mari and I turned to Aoi-sensei. She was quiet and just simply staring at the boys. "Umm..she refused to do it," Mari voice got quieter. "Even though I asked you guys to join...sorry" She turned to Aoi-sensei, "Sorry to bother you, we'll get going now."
"WAIT!" Aoi-sensei stopped us. "Who's in your club?"
"Everyone in this room right now and the other one is coming right now," I answered.
"OIII!!!! The great Natsumi have arrived!!!" I heard Natsumi laughing but couldn't see her. She squeezed her way through the guys. " Guys! Don't block the entrance! Either go inside or stay outside," she pouted.
"Yeah, that's the other one," I continued.
"You! There! What's your name?" She pointed at Ken, her gaze not leaving him since he entered the room.
"Huh? Me? It's Hirota Ken."
"Hmm.. interesting." She smirked. She turned back to us. "Okay, I'll be your club's faculty advisor."
"Why did you change your mind..?" I asked.
"What you don't want me to? Then, okay I wo--"
"NONONO!!! Please do!! We're glad you agree to do so! Thank you very much!!" Mari thanked and bowed once more.

A week has passed. Our club was somehow revived and we started as soon as sensei agreed to be our faculty advisor. We would have our club meetings on Thursdays and Fridays.
I was sketching the scenery outside of the window while Mari was making some crafts. As usual, Mari and I were the only one serious.... Natsumi, just as she stated, is really bad with drawing, so she would do some crafts or origami.
Although Nakamura-san is a really good artist, he mostly slacks off and play on his phone. He's actually a really lazy and chill person. And Ryouta would goof around with Natsumi when she's not doing her work.
That bastard would come to the club late, because he's flirting with the girls. 'This art club is more like our hang out place...' I sighed. Right now, Natsumi was laughing around with Ken and Ryouta while Nakamura-san was playing on their phones.
The door slide opened and Aoi-sensei came into the room. "WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING~?" she said in a very scary tone as she kept smiling devilishly.
Everyone stopped what they were doing and quickly returned to their seats and pretended to draw or do something art-related. Mari and I sighed as we watched them get scolded by sensei and continued working on our own stuff.
Despite refusing to advise us, Aoi-sensei is actually very serious about fulfilling her role as an advisor. She actually stops Natsumi and the others that slack off and make them work. I wasn't expecting her to act this way. I recalled back to when she said that she wasn't kind. She might not be as mean as she said though...
"What the hell is wrong with you guys?! Isn't this an art club?! Why are guys always slacking off??" Aoi-sensei exploded.
It was the same for the next day. Natsumi was throwing her failed origamis into the trash bin in the corner of the room. Nakamura-san was sleeping. Ryouta and Ken still haven't arrive. Aoi-sensei came in once again.
"Tachibana!! Clean up the mess!!! Stop being such a lazy ass. WALK," Aoi-sensei scolded. Nakamura-san head shot up from hearing sensei's voice.
"Eh?? But it's more fun this wayy~" she fiddles with her fingers =3=.
"Now, where is Hirota-kun and Ishikawa?!" Sensei said as she search for the two. Just then the door behind her opened. Ken and Ryouta came in puffing, their shirts wrinkled as if their hurriedly put them on. They were all drenched in sweat.
"Ah....W-We're sorry Aoi-sensei," Ryouta who was in the front said.
"H-Huh? As a club member don't you know that it's your job to come to club at the right time?" She puts her hands on her waist.
"We just came back from playing basketball," Ken looked as Aoi-sensei and comb back his hair with his hands.
"W-What do you mean?? You should know you have a club to attend. Ugh, I'll let this go this time but if I see you doing that again, I'll suspend you guys." I sighed as she said that. I'm pretty sure that's her 2nd time saying that... She keeps on letting them go.
They took their seats and Aoi-sensei came up. We stopped what we were doing and gave our attention to her.
"Alright, since this club is starting from scratch, we have many things to do. First off, we need ideas. We need to have events and advertisements so that more students will want to join our club. We need to be recognized by the school. But we need to discuss on our budget, too. If we don't have enough, we won't be able to hold events."
"Oooo! Cool!!!" Natsumi yelled. "I'd like an origami contest."
"Hmm, that would be nice, we'll consider it," Sensei said, thinking.
"So, how much money do we have?" I questioned.
"I talked to the principal and the student council president. They said that we'll get the same as other clubs," she answered.
"But that won't be enough to make an event...." Mari said worriedly.
"Exactly. That's why we need to do something like a fundraiser," she continued.
"But I thought the school helps with the fees for the events, no?" Nakamura-san said.
Sensei's eyes widened realizing what he just said. "....They might. I don't know for sure since I'm new. My old school didn't so I thought it was like that here, too. Do you guys know anything?"
We all turned to each other while thinking of it. I've never been in a club this year so I didn't know much.
"Hey Mari, what did you guys do when the senpais were here?"
"Ah, I'm not sure about the budget and the events since school started not too long ago. So we haven't hold any events yet."
I nodded and looked at the others, "How about you guys?"
"Hmm... I'm not sure," Ryouta said as Ken and Nakamura-san stayed silent. I'm guessing they don't know either.
"Oh! I know!!" Our eyes laid on Natsumi who just said that.
"You do? (¬_¬)" I said dryly.
"You're so mean, Aki-chan!!" Natsumi pouted. "Of course I do! I was in the photography club, remember?? And we were talking about holding an event where we display the pictures that we've took.
"Oh, right."
"Photography club? Cool," Ken said.
"Ahahah right? But since y'all are here, I'm here too!! Anyways we don't need to worry about that since the school will support it....probably," she grinned.
Our faces that were filled with hope a while ago dropped and stared at Natsumi plainly. "Probably?" Aoi-sensei said sternly.
"Uh...I mean, I'm pretty sure! Ahaha, no, I'm sure!" Natsumi laughed nervously.
Sensei sighed, "I'll believe you but I'll ask the other teachers tomorrow to make sure." 'Even Aoi-sensei knows how Natsumi is like' I exhaled.
"Okay, so that's done~" Mari cheered. "Moving on to the next one!"
We spent this meeting talking about all things we needed to do. It was kinda strange that everyone was serious about this. Well, it's good to see that they're actually serious about this club. Even though we goof around, we also takes things seriously and do it in our own pace made this art club really fun so far.
