Pulling into the driveway of Katelyn, Castor began to wake 'Aphmau' by screaming the lyrics to the song that was on.

It just so happened to be the beginning of 'Never gonna give you up' by Rick Astley.

A slight mumble of 'never gonna let you down' came from the sleeping woman in the passengers seat.

Castor laughed at her before turning the car off.

"We're here, so start getting out cause' I'm leaving before you knock on the door." Jess let out a groan before opening her door and tried to get out.

"Jes-Aphmau...do you even realize that you haven't unbuckled?" Looking down, Aphmau realized that the seatbelt was indeed still on. She sighed and unbuckled herself.

She then got out of the car and started grabbing her items from the trunk and back seat.

Walking up the steps towards the door, Aphmau turned her head towards where Castor's car started to pull out of the driveway. Aphmau dropped one of her bags and waved at said car before picking up the bag and continuing towards the door.

Aphmau sighed and cautiously rang the doorbell, unsure if there was Katelyn or a beast awoken from it slumber.

Katelyn's POV.

Ughhhhhhhhh, what time is it??

I quickly look at the clock- 1:47 am? Who would be here- oh. Probably the new roommate. They did say they would be here really early. I didn't expect this early though..

I sigh and throw my bed sheets off of me getting ready to meet said roommate.

Opening my bedroom door, I exit the room and make my way down the stairs. Turning a corner before arriving at the front door.

I don't even bother to check the eye hole before opening the door. Opening the door revealed a smaller, slightly tan, black-headed potato.

I smile sweetly (my best fake smile), "Hello, you must be the new roommate..?" She grins back, "Yup! And you must be Katelyn, my names Aphmau!" That name sounds familiar, which is surprising since it's such a unique name.

"Okay, I'm going to help you move your stuff to your new room... which, you didn't bring a lot?"

"Oh yeah, I bought stuff. It should arrive in a few days. I thought I had more time to stay in my old house but no.."

I nod, it was strange but I'm not gonna question her since I'm so freakin' tired.  "Alright, well, Kawaii-Chan is already in her room.. which is the room across from mine."

She nods before suddenly yawing.

I chuckle, "I'm going to take that as your tired too, so let me show you your room." I pick up two of her bags and start making the short trek up the stairs.

I make a left at the top of the stairs instead my normal right (to my room) leading Aphmau to her new room.

I shift on of the bags on my arm to make the door handle more accessible, opening the door,  I lead Aphmau inside and then began setting her stuff down.

"Okay, if you don't need any immediate help..I'm gonna go back to bed.."

Aphmau looks up at me before shaking her head, "uh, I don't think I need any help...but I don't have a bed.. do you think I share with you or should I go ask the other roommate.?"

My eyes widened, I needed to save her from Kawaii-Chan's room. I quickly shake my head, "uh, theres no need to stay in Kawaii-Chan's room soo, yeah, you can stay with me."

She nods and seems to notice my discomfort with the mention of Kawaii-Chan's room.

Aphmau drops her stuff and follows me to my room.

I go to where I was sleeping (the left side) while she takes the right side and we both get underneath the covers and I fall asleep quickly.

When I wake up, I know exactly why Aphmau sounds so familiar.

We went to the same high school.

I then notice the lack of said Aphmau in the bed next to me.

I quickly jump out of bed and rush down the stairs. Turning my head to the left when I get to the bottoms of the stairs, I see Aphmau and Kawaii-Chan eating cereal.  They then greet me,

"Hello Katelyn-Sama!" From Kawaii-Chan

And a snicker before, "heeeeeey Katelyn!" From Aphmau.

Oh godd*mmit. What mess have I gotten into..?
