(Y/N's POV)

I had everything finished. My book shelfs, LED Light Strips that I set around my room so it glowed, a few paintings and posters, and curtains were all set up. Of course I have small decorations here, there, and everywhere. Like the clock on my wall because time and I are not really friends.

I still had one more box to unpack. I opened it and there was only a photo book, helmet, and a skateboard. Ever since I was six I started to ride a skateboard everywhere. It's an easy transportation and plus it helps me keep my balance. You don't know how many punches I dodged and still kept my balance.

I take the skateboard out and grab my helmet. The helmet was black with three gold lines on it. The skateboard was also black with three gold lines on it. I slide my phone into my jean pocket and walk downstairs.

"I'm going out for a while," I shouted.

I left the house and dropped my skateboard on the ground. I rode it down the driveway and down the hill. The hill wasn't that steep so it would be easier to get back up the hill. I was going at a nice pace. I made it to the bottom and rode around town.

The town was very quiet. There were a lot of kids around my age around here. But one group really stood out. There was a group of boys eleven or twelve of them. I passed them and they were all staring at me. I could feel the stares of them on my back as I passed them. I could already tell that they were going to be the ones on my ass.

As I continued to ride around I found a park. The park had a pond and lots of room to run around. I stopped my skateboard and kicked it up so I could walk and hold it. The park was pretty empty. It was pretty quiet until there was a shout.

"HEADS!" Someone shouted.

Then a soccer ball bounced a few feet in front of me. It flew back up into the air and started to fall down near me. I caught it with my free hand and then dropped it to the ground. I girl around my age and ran over to me. She had brown hair, her tips we're dyed, and she also had brown eyes. She was wearing a white and gold oversized sweater with one of her shoulder not being covered, a pair of black leggings, and white shoes.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to almost hit you!" She said.

"That's ok." I said.

The girl took the ball and ran off. I saw her run off to the field with a bunch of kids on the field. I was a bit curious so I walked over to tree near the field. I watched as the kids ran around playing with the soccer ball. All the kids than started to grab their stuff and walk away. The girl who almost hit me noticed I stuck around and walked over to me.

"Hey you stuck around. Even though you were almost hit with the soccer ball." The girl said.

"Yeah well I was a bit curious of everything right now. I'm (Y/N). I just moved here today." I said.

"Oh really that's cool. My name is Boo but my real name is Liz! It's so nice to meet you." The girl said.

"Nice to meet you Liz. Oh do you know where North Star Highschool is? I'm going there tomorrow for high school." I said.

"North Star Highschool! That's the same school I go to. Hey we could be friends then you won't be lonely." Liz said with excitement.

"Really? That's awesome we both go to the same school. And having a friend right before the first day of school is even more awesome." I said.

"I'll show you the school." Liz said.

Boo quickly went over to the bike rack and got her bike. We both rode down the street to the school. Once at it we both stopped.

"This is the school. Whatcha think?" Liz said.

The school building looked nice. It looked like a school and not like a prison.

"I like it. It doesn't look like some kind of prison." I said.

Liz giggled a little into her hand then looked at me.

"I usually take the bus to the school. So if you plan on walking to school you won't see me." Liz said.

"Alright. I'll see you tomorrow." I said.

"Wait before you go. Take my number so we can talk." Liz said.

I took Liz's number then left. I rode back home texting Friend.

"Hey dumbass." I said

"What's up dumbass." He said

"I made a new friend." I said.

"Is it a guy?" He asked.

"No stupid it's a girl. Plus she goes to the same school as I." I said.

"That's cool. How is the house? Did your parents over do it again?" He said.

"Yeah they did. I just don't understand them." I said.

"Anyways anything planned?" He said.

"Nope nothing but school is starting soon so I better get home" I said.

"Gotta go talk to you later." He said.

"See ya." I said.

I placed my phone in my pocket. By now I had gotten home. I open the doors and everything was silent. Most likely my parents left to go to some fancy party. I sighed and walked up to my room. I walked in and got dressed for bed. I set my alarm clock and then jumped in bed. I drifted off to sleep.
